These 10 Restaurants in the U.K. Have Exceptional Views

"A beautiful country house set amid 240 acres, Coworth Park is home to an intimate restaurant where chef Adam Smith presents modern interpretations of classic British dishes. Local sourcing remains a key focus here, with ingredients selected from as close by as the estate’s own grounds. From beneath the dining room’s dramatic oak leaf chandelier, take in views of the terrace and manicured gardens via floor-to-ceiling windows." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team

Absolutely love it! First time in The Barn and Coworth Park. We were supposed to book The Woven but unfortunately it’s closed every Monday and Tuesday so we went to celebrate our evening with The Barn instead. They did not disappoint and delivered an amazing evening for us. From the greetings from the staff until we departed was flawless. The staff are very professional and friendly but not intrusive. They made us feel welcome and helps us and guided us with the menu and little bit info about the place. Chris the assistant manager was the star of our evening! He provided a 10/10 service with grace and style. He suggested some dishes and stories behind it and always there when needed. All the staff are well groomed and trained properly which translates how the place thrives beautifully like this. Coworth Park did very well! The set the bar high in terms of quality of food, atmosphere and service. Quite rare to find all of those qualities in one. I definitely 100% recommend this and will be back again soon! An experience worth visiting! Thank you Chris, Chef and the rest of the staff!

From the moment that we walked in we were greeted by an amazing staff member Bertie who gave us a an exceptional service, greeted us with a warm welcome and was there hands-on to make my dad’s birthday so special. Throughout the whole time it was a service that stood out the most to us not only is it a beautiful restaurant but if it hasn’t got good service I wouldn’t be coming back. I want to say thank you to the management team for the champagne, My dad loved it so much we had to get another bottle. Bertie offered us a buggy ride back to move our car was just an added bonus. We had a lovely staff member called William To drive us back to our car and he offered to give us a tour around the estate grounds. He was so professional and went the extra mile for us giving a personalised touch which created more memories for us that will last. It’s truly the people why I will be coming back, even visiting the mansion the staff members there was so friendly and inviting. We are planning our next visit, my family can’t stop talking about it.

Chef Lewis. Absolute gent. The service from the front desk right the way to the security and the waiters and waitress is absolutely exceptional. This place is very relaxing and do expect a 5* service from the team.

Tucked away in the expansive, manicured grounds of Coworth Park, The Barn feels like stepping into a different world — one detached from the everyday, yet effortlessly grounded in quiet British luxury. It’s the kind of place where you could imagine a scene from The Gentlemen playing out: all sharp tailoring, smooth dialogue, and something stronger than wine (or Coke Zero in our case) being poured into a glass. This isn’t just dinner — it’s atmosphere. The setting alone is a major draw. There’s a cinematic quality to it: rustic yet refined, elegant without being pretentious. But The Barn doesn’t rely on aesthetics alone — the food more than holds its own. A highlight of our visit was the Chateaubriand — and yes, it’s halal. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was tender, rich, and paired beautifully with both the chimichurri and the hollandaise (which, surprisingly, didn’t compete but complemented). The triple-cooked chips, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, made for a satisfying and well-rounded plate. The extensive halal options were a pleasant surprise — and not just token gestures, but serious, considered dishes that match the rest of the high-end menu. For a family like ours, gathering from different parts of the world for our annual reunion, it meant we could all indulge freely, without compromise. That said, The Barn does sit in a rarefied tier. This is the kind of place that could easily become a regular spot — if your disposable income allows it. But whether you’re celebrating something special or simply want to feel like you’re living in the final scene of a very stylish film, it’s worth the detour.

We started off in the rose garden and wine was served in plastic glasses which I was not too happy about and could not see the need.Lunch in the Barn was very underwhelming.Starters were fine & there was enough veggies to share to go with the mains.,but all the mains were disappointing...Also dissappointed I had to ask what puddings were vegetarian there was none stated on the menu.Shame as the hotel grounds were very nice and the staff in the main bar area were fab.

Visited on a Sunday, while the food was lovely it was not worth the £65. I’ve had roasts from good pubs as good at half the price. What really was not acceptable was the “covered” outside seating area, where there was a constant breeze that meant us and other customers had to keep our coats on - simply not good enough. If looking to visit during the cooler months make sure your booking is for inside.

We enjoyed an exceptional dining experience here while celebrating a special occasion. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, providing helpful information regarding halal and alcohol-containing menu items (note that nearly all meats served are halal). They also presented a complimentary dessert to commemorate our celebration.

Yelp
I mean.... wow. This place has everything going for it, English countryside? Check. Horses? Check. Great dining options? Check. Room service? Check. Spa? Check. Fields of wildflowers?!?? Of course! I would adore coming back to this wonderful local again and again! The spa is wonderful, the food is great, the ambiance of the entire grounds is just indescribable! The beauty!! Make sure to make a reservation for dinner or you will end up eating room service as I did, which was also amazing! Final thought: GO!

Yelp
Coworth Park have it all. If you want the fine dining dinner jackets and la de da then I suggest the main house but if you want something a little more laid back then check out the barn at the back for lunch or dinner. The service is tip top and if can't be bothered to walk then they will call you a golf buggy to run you around. Sunday lunch at the barn is fabulous for traditional roast beef and Yorkshire puddings or maybe go for their modern day twist on the lamb. Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed with the setting or the food Make sure you take advantage of the 2 /3 course deal

Yelp
There are simply not enough words or stars to describe this amazing place! Starting from the grounds, structures, staff, service and distinct attention given to their customers and its ambience will leave you enlightened, speechless and feeling like royalty!

Yelp
I hate this hotel. The staff has no flexibility. Took me forever to check in after a long international flight. Then I get schleped in a golf cart in the rain to an average room on the ground floor called a stable. I dare say horses get treated better. Never never again. Go elsewhere.

Yelp
Fabulous luxury experience - stayed as a one night special treat on Christmas Eve. The hotel is immaculate, and the service was professional and very warm. Wish we could have stayed longer. Dinner was top notch, and a late night cocktail after Midnight Mass was spiced up with some different experimental flavours at the recommendation of the barman. Only one thing I would change - the bed had a static unit at the foot of it with the TV in it which I felt spoiled the overall look of the room (39) and made the bed feel rather closed in. It would be so much better if it could be moved to one side. Can't wait to go there again and to enjoy more of the facilities and grounds.

Yelp
How does this not have more reviews?!?! This is an extraordinary experience that I would do again and again and again. I can hardly begin to describe it. We stayed here for about a week in the summer and every detail was perfect. Such a beautiful resort. My mom rode dressage while I was getting a massage and my dad was exercising. There's something for everyone! I must say that my massage was the best i've experienced. That's saying something. Also, they offer really cool activities (FALCONRY) and the food is to die for. Something worth saving up for.
