The Barn at Power Ranch

Beautiful venue for my nephew's wedding. They might want to consider upgrading overhead speakers. One was distorting, when the DJ played music. It could've been too much gain, though. I was impressed with the modern audio/video connections and equipment. Clean restrooms and kitchen area. Very nice!

Very pretty for decent size gathering 50-60. Have lake, park. Nice for photos too

Beautiful venue with the lawn plus the lake and pool nearby. We enjoyed wonderful live music as the sun set.

Had our wedding reception here and they are horrible to work with. We were locked out for an hour so guests were ariving while setting up (no $600 refund for that hour yet) we planned a lot of activities with the projector and TVs to entertain guests and they didn't work. So we had to improvise, and that caused my wife to break down a few times as you can imagine it's overwhelming on a wedding day already. Horrible with comunication, and they gave us a walk through and told us all we need is a flash drive to upload everyhing.... we brought a flash drive and there was no USB option for their systems. They have no clue what they are doing

As everyone has stated, this is a beautiful event venue. Clean, spacious, and a perfectly adequate selection of tables and chairs. The kitchen is well set up with plenty of cooler, counter, and prep space. There is a very large screen one side and two smaller screens on the other side for media presentations. Restrooms are large, clean, and well stocked. Again as others have stated, there will be screaming, singing, laughing children in the adjacent swimming pool, so keep that in mind if your event requires any outdoor activities.

This is a great DIY event venue. It has a large catering kitchen, room to hold approximately 150 guests, and a spacious patio and grassy outdoor area. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because staff was a little inaccessible. It would be great if they stayed in hand to answer questions about the facility, for example, lights and amenities.

Attended a wedding here. It was a lovely space and provided a wonderful atmosphere. The public pool next door was awkward for the outdoor portion of the ceremony but it was still a beautiful place. If not for the pool I would give 5 stars

We had called and tried to reserve the event for my wedding 5 months in advance. After putting in money for a security deposit, our reservation was given to someone else who sent in an application the same day. They made it sound like we had it booked though we didn’t and had us go all the way down there for a tour. The guy was 15 minutes late (and didn’t apologize) and gave a subpar tour, taking a business call in the middle of the tour and pretty much left us to explore on our own. We had to call their office today to set up our reservation and they said “oh actually we gave up your spot sorry” and did not notify any of us so we couldn’t even get started on getting a new venue. Terrible service. Might be a beautiful place but they need to get their act together in the office.
