Wow! This place is great! The food is delicious and the people that work here are so nice! I had a the BECA without the mustard-mayo sauce, and a beef empanada! Iced Latte was also good!

Outdoor seating is amazing. Has live jazz music on Saturday mornings. Would recommend going to anyone and everyone.

Delicious chaggacino! Very friendly service. Small inside space with just a few seats but more ample seating outdoors. Food menu has a few vegan options, we just had a small pastry/cookie which was great. Will visit again.

A delightful coffee shop, serving very good food, coffee and delicious smoothies. My mixed berry smoothie was excellent and I really loved the avocado toast. The outdoor seating area is delightfully decorated - don't miss the guitar signed by "Elvis Presley"! So happy we stopped here for lunch.

Cozy little breakfast cafe in the neighborhood. It’s defiantly a standout in the area. They have great vegan and non vegan options. The employees are always very friendly. The outdoor seating they’ve created makes it so much more of a chill vibe. We always enjoy dinning outside at the cafe.

I love The Barn! It has a great vibe and delicious food. Everyone is so nice. They’re consistent and reliable which is comforting after the last few years. I could eat on of their empanadas everyday and almost do haha. Definitely check out the live jazz music they have on Saturdays. Awesome Astoria hang.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this place deserves its 5 star rating. Their BECA breakfast sandwich is delicious! I’ve also had their chicken salad sandwich and it was huge. We got lattes and a little treat for later which were so on point. And the people who own/work here are very kind and accommodating. So glad I discovered this spot and will def become a regular!

This cute little coffeeshop in Astoria is located few blocks away from 30av stop and Astoria Park. They offer outside seating, vegan options and wifi. Their staff is very friendly. My oat latte was $4.90 I will visit again and share more about my second experience once i go back. (Feb 2022)

Yes! This Cali girl stumbled upon this awesome coffee shop! And they have my Chagaccino! Service was California pleasant, with a welcome and and thank you, have a nice day! That's so nice, because good service, mediocre service is very sparing in the Manhattan area!! Much appreciated and I gave her good vibes right back! The out door set up reminds me of Berkeley! I could park here four hours! There's music so you don't care about the off ramp of cars across the street! Truly a neighbor hood gem! The food menu looks awesome too! I may need to come back for a tuna melt.

I usually get my morning coffee from The Barn, a charming local coffee shop with friendly and kind staff. Once, I encountered a semi-baked vegan muffin, but aside from that, their muffins taste great, and their breads are consistently excellent. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Small shop but packed with flavor. There are only 2-3 seatings inside by the window and plenty of outdoor seating. B.E.C.A aka Bacon Egg Cheddar Cheese Avocado Smash - one thing I noticed is that it wasn't a thick cut bacon strip. This was served on a nice brioche bun!! The combo is great, there was no need to add ketchup or hot sauce, it was seasoned and merry well together as is. Iced mocha - most mocha elsewhere taste watered down by the amount of milk it is diluted with. But this ice mocha, I can taste the bold and strong flavor of the coffee/expresso which is what I like!!!

Solid. Needed coffee after a jaunt to Randall's Island. Smooth coffee and pretty fast service. Great nook in queens far enough away from the train to not be stuck in congested streets. It's a cute small place w little seating outside. 3 stools inside. Great on a pleasant day.

This place wad small and cozy . And the barista was really nice and welcoming. I had to wait for my friend to clock out from her work so just waited her here . I had chai latte and a beef empanada . It was delicious and warm . Would definitely recommend this place .

Made a trip to this far off coffee shop on a Monday morning. Surprisingly no one was inside nor in the outdoor setup. Menu is behind the counter and pastries up front. Decided on the Iced Latte ($5ish) and the B.E.C.A ($10ish). Coffee comes out first - good flavor and not overly bitter, no sugar necessary. Sandwich is a layered combination of eggs, bacon, cheddar, and avocado. Eggs are balanced well with the melted cheese, avocado is ripe, and the bacon thick cut. Pretty easy to quickly eat, especially if you are on the go. Lady behind the counter was nice, and the setup is quaint. Little higher than normal prices, but the selection is interesting.

I got the crowd favorite BECA sandwich and it didn't disappoint! Thick Cut Bacon, Cage Free Eggs, Cheddar Cheese, Avocado Smash, mustard and mayo sauce. Delivery was fast, everything was absolutely phenomenal. Wish I had time to go experience the space! It's so cute!

I must admit, I was pretty surprised coming here. Didn't know what to expect when my friend suggested this spot and when I looked up food/drink options, I was very curious and tried a couple of things. It's a cute little coffee spot in Astoria and has a cool casual seating area outside great for meeting up with friends. They also have WiFi too if you want to do work here. And the service was good too, the lady was super sweet, welcoming and helped me out with food options when I was trying to figure what to order. I got the Mixed Berry Smoothie, Chicken Empanada and the B.E.C.A (which has bacon, eggs, cheese and avocado). These all were super delicious and I'd definitely get it again if I could. Try them out next time you visit Astoria!

Excellent Cappuccino . Great Place, very small inside only 4 seats, pretty much a pick and go. A few high quality baked goods.

I went on a Saturday around noon and I loved it so much !! The staff was incredibly kind and efficient considering how busy it was. I got a bacon, egg, cheese and avocado sandwich with a dirty chai. The ambiance was incredible! There were jazz musicians outside and there was plenty of outdoor seating. I sat and enjoyed my food while listening to jazz, it was magical! I can't recommend it enough, it's such a wonderful part of the community. I can't praise the B.E.C.A enough !!! The bacon was cooked perfectly, the bun was perfectly buttery TOOOOO GOOD !!

Great, quick, friendly coffee spot! Only note is that the cold brew tastes far too mild and diluted and I really wished that it was a lot stronger. The color of the brew itself is much lighter than when I make my cold brews at home. Maybe need a better grind to water ratio or longer steep.

Great food. The spicy chicken salad sandwich was great. And the BLAT Sandwich was also great. We can't wait to come back. A+

While their cold brew didn't quite hit the mark for me, their tomato soup and grilled cheese combo completely stole the show. The soup was rich and comforting, and the tuna grilled cheese was perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. It's the ultimate comfort food experience!

Ordered: B.E.C.A. (~$9): bacon (substituted for vegan bacon), eggs, cheddar, and avocado on a brioche bun Iced Rose Latte (~$5): with oat milk Aya's take: Decided to stop by before a 5-hour drive! One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in Astoria. Bun was beautifully toasted/warm and the portion of each of the ingredients was plentiful. The vegan bacon was interesting and was a decent alternative for all non-pork eaters. It had a smoky essence to it which was balanced by the eggs and avocado mash. Rose Latte could have used more rose syrup but did the job for a caffeine kick on the drive. A bit pricy for a breakfast sandwich but it is quality. Great addition to Astoria area!

A really cute spot -- when we stopped buy there was some live music outside which was a nice touch. Had a couple of empanadas which were delicious and got some Avocado Toast. First place I've ever been to where the Avocado toast is actually worth the price they charge! It's a full meal and they were kind enough to split it into two portions for us to split. I can't speak to their coffee as I'd already had my daily dose, but I'll have to go back.

Coffee it's really good and staff it's really kind definitely recommend it, they sell all kind of coffee and bakery definitely give it a try.

Wow absolutely amazing! I knew I had to get as many things as I could because I'm not going to be near here and needed to make sure I could provide a good review. But let's be honest, this place is so on point that no review would change your mind. I mean they have the B.E.C.A!!!! When you but bacon these items together it's an immediate party in your mouth. But why stop here, they have this donut looking thing filled with Ducle de leche. And no don't tell me it's like caramel because this is no caramel my friend it's sweet creamy goodness from heaven. Oh and like an infomercial, but wait there is more yes there is more they have chicken and beef empanadas!! oh my Lanta, these little bite-size empanadas just filled with flavor and delicious. I can taste the homemade grandma love in it. You are probably asking but it's called the coffee shop yes I'm getting to the coffee now I hand their Cortada a latte oh pumpkin spice latte and a cold brew and I must say all of their copies were amazing straight up barista aficionados!!

Ordered the VECA sandwich and chagacinno. Never heard of a chagacinno before- it's chaga, cacao, cinnamon, and monk fruit with milk choice. Tasted very chocolate- (but not the super sweet kind). Good coffee alternative! The VECA was delicious- crispy bread, the perfect amount of avocado, and Smokey "bacon". Food came out within just a few minutes. Unfortunately no vegan donuts, which I had see. On their Instagram a while back but dough donuts isn't too farWould come back!

Awesome place located in Astoria. I had the V.E.C.A (Vegan bacon, egg, cheese and avocado) and the mixed berry smoothie. Loved the sandwich, the bread was perfectly crisp. Great option for non-meat lovers. One thing to know is that this place is located right next to a freeway. If you're making use of the outdoor seating, there will be some traffic noise.

Think I found my new favorite spot! I stumbled across this gem while walking back from Astoria park. The outdoor seating area artwork is what caught my eye. I ordered a hazelnut ice latte with oat milk medium size. Even though the coffee was spot on and delicious. I did think the price was a little much. $5.99 for a medium size coffee. But then again it's a lot better than almost $8 for Starbucks in times sq nyc. After telling my wife about The Barn we decided to go the next day and pick up coffee and a bite to eat. We got two ham and cheese empanadas and they were so GOOD! Highly recommend this place if you want a good coffee and something quick to eat.

Ordered a grilled cheese and coffee with the daily soup choice and every bite of the grilled cheese and soup were so flavorful!! I will definitely be back in person to try their other options. Would definitely recommend

I've been on a little mission, to try all the coffee shops in Astoria. I always go to the same place, so I made it a goal to try a new one every week. This was my first new place to visit. I really loved the coffee. I got an ice latte with pumpkin spice. It was delicious. It is a lot smaller than what I expected, but they do have a large outdoor set up which I'm sure would be beautiful to sip ice coffee in during the spring/summer. Friendly staff, and great coffee. They also offer smoothies and other options. I recommend it, and will be back!

This is an amazing coffee shop! It's small inside, but outside there's a spot to sit and read a book and have a coffee. It is a short trek from the 30th Avenue station, and the service is stellar. I ordered a coffee made of mushrooms and also had a cappuccino with oatmilk (yes, fancy, I know!). There is outdoor seating next to the highway, and it's breezy. There are some tables and chairs to enjoy a meal. I ordered an avocado toast, and it was pretty fantastic. It had a hard boiled egg and fresh heirloom tomatoes. It was Instagram perfect! Anyway, I would totally recommend if you are in the area.

So happy that a coffee shop so close to home has opened! The coffee shop has outdoor seating area similar to what the restaurants have these days. The seating area includes different kind of wooden lounge chair and looked nice. Staff is friendly and was happy to serve variety of drinks, smoothies, sandwiches, and pastries. The strawberry financier is delicious! Just the right size to satisfy a craving for something sweet. There were financier with pineapples and other fruits too, and I'm sure they are also great. The coffee shop also sells coffee-related goods like Japanese mugs. I recommend stopping by and checking out the place when you're nearby!

Heard about this new spot on WeHeartAstoria so I decided to come during my lunch break! The inside is fairly small but does have some nice window seating (hopefully post Covid people can sit here!) There is also outdoor seating available. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte ($5) with regular milk, though they do have non dairy alternatives. The barista, Maria, was very nice! ***Tip well during this time!

Cute spot for breakfast! We made a quick spot here before heading home from the airport. We ordered coffee, empanadas and BECA! I do not have any words to describe how delicious the BECA was. It was soo good that I didn't even get to take a picture of it!! The workers were really sweet too! I'd definitely go here again!

Ordered the regular latte and rose latte, came here because of all the hyped 5star reviews. This is the most burnt diluted latte I have ever had. This was made so poorly and costed $5-6 each? Im sorry but I used to be a barista and never in my life have I tasted expresso like this... This tastes more like leftover drip coffee burning from all day, you find at a deli. Very disappointed. Overpriced, wouldnt even call this a "latte". This was not made with real expresso beans.

I love the Barn Coffee Shop! The interior is cozy with several seats available. There's additional seating outside, which I've sat in on more than one sunny day. My go-to is a latte and their B.E.C. with a sub of their vegan bacon. I also enjoy their smoothies. I've brought a few folks to this spot, and no one has walked away disappointed yet. The employees are consistently warm and welcoming. Recently, I picked up a to-go order, and they'd been kind enough to keep my iced latte and smoothie in the fridge so they didn't get warm. Little considerations like that make me smile and love this spot even more.

Really wanted to love this new coffee shop since I'm always on the lookout for a locally owned and operated cafe. I stopped in on a Sunday and they had no pastries left so I can't speak to the food, but only the cold brew. I'm not sure how long the coffee was sitting but it tasted stale and old. I spent $4 for a small cold brew and threw away because of the after taste. It was very underwhelming in terms of caffeine and seems like the water to bean ratio was not used when making. I highly doubt the actually do an overnight bean soak. Will not be back for the coffee.

Love love love! This is a must stop in place in Astoria. The coffee is excellent & Eric & Mo made us feel right at home. They also have outdoor seating due to COVID to take a seat & enjoy your coffee.

So happy this little cafe opened (last Thursday)! It's right by the Triborough Bridge dog run and the perfect alternative to nearby Dunkin and Starbucks. Popped in today for some iced coffee and was greeted warmly by the staff (all wearing masks). The inside is intimate but well decorated, with just enough room for a couple window-facing bar seats. Also had two small tables outside for outdoor dining. Coffee tasted great and prices even better. Didn't get anything else but will definitely be back again soon for some matcha and desserts

Tried this spot recently - what a find! It's located on Hoyt, next to the RFK Bridge in Queens, and I'm glad that part of the neighborhood finally has a spot that's NOT Starbucks. It might get a little loud outside since it's next to a busy thoroughfare, but the cafe is not too crowded and there is a fair amount of outdoor seating (5 tables or so for 2-3 people each). Good service. Mask use a bit inconsistent, but it's contactless payment which is good. I tried the B.E.C.A. (bacon, eggs, cheese, avocado smash on a croissant - they also have a vegan version) and an iced latte. Iced latte was solid, but I think the breakfast food is the hidden gem here. The B.E.C.A. was SO tasty and filling!

Just moved to Astoria and this had to be my fave place to grab breakfast this past summer. So quick and easy, and with the right weather, cute space to munch on outside. Yummy food too, looks picture perfect and tastes even better.

Super cute coffee shop with a nice outdoor space. We came here on Halloween and there was a dog outside wearing a orange pumpkin sweater. We were in a hurry and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. The BECA is as amazing as everyone says and the banana bread pudding is not too sweet but very satisfying. Staff was super friendly and went the extra mile. Highly recommended!!!

This place had become a staple for my boyfriend and I during our morning walks to Astoria Park. I like to try coffee/espresso drinks that are unique or that I can't find just anywhere, and I've become obsessed with their rose latte. My boyfriend really likes their flat white, and we both love the BECA - delicious and well-balanced. Also, shout out to Adrian who's always so warm and welcoming! Can't recommend this place enough!

Cute spot in Astoria - they just recently opened up outdoor seating. Stopped by quick just for a cold brew which is decent. They have food on the menu as well and WiFi too. Definitely worth stopping by as it's not too busy and it's low key.

Great spot!! Just had an iced coffee and spinach/mushroom scramble. Also tried little Financier pastry. The food was definitely fresh and prepared well. The pastry was divine. High quality. Friendly service and convenient outdoor seating as well. Total 180 from the previous owners. Kudos to the new owners, keep it up!
