"Debuting in Carmel Valley on May 29, this is the second location of The Barrel Room Wine Bar & Bistro (the flagship is in Rancho Bernardo). The 125-seat space includes a spacious patio and offers a mostly New World wine list with 40 wines available by the glass, paired with a menu that spans steak to seafood, made-to-order pizzas, fresh pasta, and cheese and charcuterie; new to this outpost is a full bar serving craft cocktails. The restaurant opens daily at 11:30 a.m., and will also serve brunch starting at 10 a.m. on Sundays. Amazing spot!! They have my favorite IPA and other yummy choices on tap. Plus something for everyone in other beer, wine, cider options. Dillon and Jana behind the bar are both beyond welcoming! Both times I've gone, I've stayed so much later than planned having such a great time. They offer a bunch of free condiments like a popcorn machine, chips, jerky, pretzels etc but you can bring in whatever food you want!! Prices are great and the view is incredible!! My new favorite spot!!

This is the new spot you have to try! The view from the bar window is breathtaking! Can’t say enough about it. Plus you can bring in your own food to eat while you enjoy their great selection of drinks!

Great place to sit and have some local beer and wine. Friendly and inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back when we are in Carmel Valley. Complimentary popcorn is even served and appreciated
