The Barrel Room Sports Bar and Grill

The Barrel Room is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. It combines a great restaurant and bar with an impressive shooting range, all in one place. The range offers two different shooting areas, including a longer range option, which is a really nice feature and adds variety for all skill levels. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering everything they offer. Their whiskey and bourbon selection is excellent, with a wide variety of options, along with other spirits to choose from. What really makes The Barrel Room stand out is the staff—everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which makes the whole experience even better. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to visit whether you’re there to shoot, eat, have a drink, or all three. Highly recommend!

The Barrel Room was a fantastic spot to watch my game - the atmosphere was fun, the team was friendly and easily kept up with the pace, and the food and drinks were soooo tasty. I tried the Original, Bacon Maple, and Apple Cinnamon Old Fashioned flight and loved all three (full disclosure, the bacon didn't survive past the first minute because it was AMAZING). The very generous order of fried cheese curds were so addictive our table ordered more. And the elk burger... well, it was so insanely good I didn't even get a picture before I devoured the entire thing! The apricot jalapeño jam, boursin cheese, fried shallots, spring mix and garlic aioli were the perfectly-balanced compliment - I love game and have literally NEVER enjoyed elk more. This place is absolutely worth a stop in!

We didn’t do a ton of research, so we were surprised when we were navigated to a shooting range to reach the restaurant (but now the restaurant name makes sense). Very nice facility when you walk in, the range was closed but they also had a cute coffee shop inside. The Barrel Room itself was just inside to the right. I had the Elk Burger and side Caesar which was cooked perfectly. The side Caesar was a chopped, well made Caesar and not just some lettuce with dressing just thrown on top. For a sports bar restaurant, this certainly felt more upscale. Lots of nice TV setups around the room, friendly service, and modern bar area.

Visiting the area for work and I ate here three times over 4 days. Lots of great items on the menu. Picture shown is the shrimp tacos. I also had the Barrel Room cheeseburger (made it a double) and the Elk Burger... All were delicious. I enjoyed my conversations with the bartender, Jazz, and the owner, Dan. Unfortunately, we missed them today for dinner with my co-workers. Definitely give it a shot. 💪❤️🙏

Stopped in a few weeks ago with two of my girlfriends. Like a few others have mentioned, we didn’t realize the restaurant was inside a gun store…which honestly just made the whole experience way more fun and unique. The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I went with a burger, and my friends had the pulled pork and quesadillas- everything was amazing. Bonus points to the bartender for keeping our Diet Cokes full the whole time, which is harder than it sounds!!

First time ever here. Had a great time at the range then coming in the barrel room for a free pool table great selection of whiskey and great food. Truly can’t ask for a better time. I do wish they had some local whiskey like state 38 up the road from them. But still a fantastic place!

Food and prices decent. Quality of liquor ok. Service excellent. Bartenders professional attentive and organized. Clean. Safe. Positive. Well lit. Cozy seats. Amazing tvs. You will be treated with respect and less judgemental.

Came for a jazz session by Steve Watts of Dotsero, had a fantastic Philly Cheezesteak sandwich with a crisp Caesars Salad. I’ll be coming back to this place, the tap beer was also, crisp, fresh and cold. Service a 10, highly recommend this restaurant/ bar.

This place is awesome! Perfect for a fun date idea, go shoot some rounds in the shooting range then go have some cocktails and lunch after! Laid back vibes, super clean, yummy food and great old fashions. Service is on point, Becca is thee best she'll take great care of you!

The food is delicious, the whiskey selection diverse, the space is beautiful and the staff is top tier!

This restaurant has lots of seating and is located inside a big gun range bldg Got the elk burger and the barrel room burger. Both were ok. Fries were ok.

This was a cool lunch spot as it's located inside a gun range. I wish we had more time to get some shooting in. We sat at the bar and ordered from there as it was quick. My classic Caesar with grilled chicken was huge and delicious. It ended up coming home and being a second meal because there was so much. The spicy friend chicken sandwich and tots were also just as good and a decent amount of kick to the sauce too. The tots were friend perfectly and had that great crunch to them.

Wow, this was a bit of a surprise. It is a restaurant/bar at a gun range. Service was slow and non attentive. Tables weren't well serviced. Definitely a sports bar, but too empty and stale. Food was what was to be expected. So, the gun range looks pretty nice, and maybe this place would be a good meeting place for a beer after shooting a few rounds

Wow, I just had an incredible meal at this restaurant. It recently changed ownership and these owners really know how to cook. I had the blackened shrimp tacos and their favor was unique and very new. The taste is almost addictive. Next time I'm going to try the blackened shrimp poboy. My wife had the bison burger and she says it was fantastic. We both had ice cold Coors Light draft beers that complemented our meals perfectly. I really enjoy being to spend time on the shooting range then have dinner in the same building. I love this place. They have a wonderful brunch on Saturday morning as well.

Came for an event and overall had a good time. There were some things like the elk burger that seemed interesting, although I had already had dinner so I went with something smaller. The server/ bartender was efficient but a little pushy. She came for our order before even giving us menus. Asked if I wanted sauce with my fries and when I said sure, a side of ranch, she charged me 50 cents for it. Didn't show me the check before running my card, so I didn't realize until I got the receipt that not only were the fries $2 more than what they should have been (menu says $6, check said $8 + 0.50 for the ranch), there's also an undisclosed 2.5% credit card surcharge. Overall, a pretty pricey meal and it felt a little icky to have been dealt several hidden upcharges/ fees.

Great food. Great service. Whiskey drink was good Lots of screens. Like the place. Looked around in the range. Will be back!

Visited during our trip to Colorado/Wyoming to hang out, grab some light bites and catch the 49ers game! Located within a gun range, in the lovely town of Lakewood, CO just south of Denver, this place has a lot to offer and everyone is super welcoming! We grabbed some appetizers including chips and guacamole, fried mushrooms, fries, and a few drinks! There is plenty of local beers on tap, as well as craft cocktail options. They have ample high top seating, seating at the bar, and a large amount of leather couches! There is an array of large TVs, including 2 massive projector TVs on the walls, for your football viewing pleasure (or really, any sport for that matter). :) A great spot to enjoy sports, food, and drinks with friends/family!

This place is amazing. Hands down the best elk burger I think I've ever had. Gotta check it out!

The food and service were fantastic! Becca took great care of us on our first time there and mentioned the new ownership. The kitchen did a great job and the burgers were fantastic.

Excellent burger. Mushrooms, double Swiss cheese and bacon. Wow. The fries were good too. Good, friendly service. Nice selection of liquors, especially whiskeys. The dessert menu sounded delicious - maybe another time.

Food was OK. Service was VERY slow. Waitress was kind, but it shouldn't take 40 minutes for two sandwiches. Was freezing in there as well.

Mom and I stopped in after shopping. We didnt even know it was here! Really good food, friendly attentive staff and LOTS of TVs. The pulled pork sandwich is probably the best I've ever had. We will be back.

What a little gem tucked away across the Colorado Mills Mall! I was looking for a casual, yet fun place to celebrate my son's 21st birthday and chanced upon the The Barrel Room. With a couple of social spaces to relax or play darts the Barrel has a fun vibe. We ordered several apps... during their amazingly late Happy Hour time, til 7pm. The cheese curds and jalapeno poppers were hot and tasty. We ordered an artichoke dip flat bread which was gooey and delicious. Loved the spicy cheese on the loaded nachos... but because they were in a bowl, they became soggy. The cocktails were outstanding! With a party of 5, we were able to order a myriad of cocktails. The old fashion was sipping quality sweet! A lavender lemon honey vodka cocktail was refreshing. We also tried an blood orange gin drink and margarita. All the drinks were delectable and made well. Their entrees were variations of burgers that were made to order and mouth watering. What made this night special was the inviting atmosphere. The owners Mark and Megan made us feel welcomed, like we were regular customers. The wait staff including host, manager and bartender all checked in and made sure we were taken care of. The Barrel is definitely a place we'll come back too... not just because the cocktails and food, but also for the warm welcome and care. This is what makes a place worth coming back to. Its great for a week night get together or small celebratuon... or even happy hour drinks and darts.

This is a short review because my friend and I didn't stay long. We had stopped in for a drink while we waited for another friend to pick us up. Our drinks were delicious and the staff was friendly. I loved the decor and the vibe of the place. Had we stayed longer, I probably would have more to say.

Excellent Prime Rib and steaks. The atmosphere is relaxing and nice enough for a special occasion. The service is excellent EXCEPT my friend wanted a plain hamburger with lettuce, no bun. It was served with rusty lettuce!! It was embarassing, to have her get that at such an upscale restaurant!

A little skeptical when we were the only dinners at a weekday lunch. But we trusted yelpers, stayed and glad to report we found another great lunch spot. By the time we left, several others had joined us in the dining room. Menu offers lots of choices from burgers, to wild game to full entrees. Our server, bartender was William M. He was superb-- helpful, friendly and there with an ice tea or water refill before we had to ask. Great looking bar. I want to come back and sample some of the bourbons they have on the shelf. The Barrel Room is adjacent to a shooting range and the offerings could be appealing to a lot of folks.

Elk burger was amazing. The bison chilies also very very good. Tacos were worthy service is awesome. Staff is really good. Clean place vibe is good and the cocktails are yummy.

This place is SO unique! It's a restaurant with a very Colorado-focused menu (think elk sausage and green chili), great customer service, and lots of fun craft cocktails and beer to select from. Plus it's located in a shooting range, so you can enjoy that before-hand! What a cool spot! Must try if you're in the Denver/Lakewood area! :)

Just stopped by for brunch - this was by far one of the best breakfast spots we've been to in awhile! We started off with pancakes and then had the OG Benedict and corn beef hash. It's hard to leave with leftovers here! The chef was so nice and even come out to say hi and talk about the food. Can't wait to come back!

Halo is so friendly and gives great service! 10/10 recommend here after shooting next door!

We made a reservation and drove 30+ minutes to meet friends here just to arrive and be told the restaurant was closed. If someone has a reservation, they should be contacted. This was a huge inconvenience and a red flag for the organization and customer service that this restaurant is capable of.

My husband and I chose to go to the Barrel Room with family the Friday before my daughter's wedding. We gave the restaurant a heads up that we may be bringing around 10-20 people. There turned out to be even more than that. The front staff were able to handle it and were so nice and accommodating. The kitchen was able to keep up and food came out hot and delicious. My mother, who is a pretty tough critic of food, mentioned even the day after the wedding how delicious her hamburger was. It's a hidden gem that I hope lots of people find out about. We will certainly be coming back.

My wife and I stopped in to try this place out for the first time and overall it wasn't bad. It just wasn't our type of place. The food was decent and the place was clean but it was extremely cold. The ambiance was kind of empty. It didn't feel like it had any real life to it. The bartender was very friendly. The server didn't have any personality and didn't really check up on us other than to drop off the check. All in all, I'm sure some would love it here. We probably won't be back but it's not a bad place and I'm sure lots will enjoy it here.

Just finished dinner, this maybe the best food that Wheat Ridge, NW Lakewood has to offer. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the menu and menu prices can't be beat. We had the chicken drummies, they are smoked in house and totally delicious- guarantee you won't be disappointed. We also had the steak sandwich, tender seasoned perfectly, so good. Definitely the best French fries on the west side. We are going to make this a weekly stop, it's that good. You don't need to be a member to enjoy this delicious food.

The decor and vibes of the Barrel Room are nice and friendly. Very modern and simple furniture and decor. We were a large party that ordered a lot. The corned beef was dry and chewy. Many of us got burgers and they were delicious. The burrito supremes were okay. Service was very slow. With a large party, I can understand it taking a little longer sometimes. However, it was a very long time between ordering our food and receiving it while no one else was in the restaurant. It was about a 30-40 minute wait to get our food from the time we ordered with no other tables to be waited on. The fryer was down and many of us wanted fries with our burgers. We understand things happen so we all just ordered another side. Some of us got a salad as our side and were disappointed that it didn't come out first. We were starving and hoping that would come out first to hold us over until our burgers came out. The server, who I think was also the bar tender, was very friendly. I wouldn't completely write this place off yet, but I wouldn't rush out to get it again.

Ok food. Nice servers but not attentive. Nothing on tap so tasting was not an option.

Service was horrible. Food was "ok" must have been a bad night. The owners were condescending. When we approached them about our food and made excuses.

I've eaten here several times now. The food is pretty good. Just had a BLAT and it was just okay. Could have been better. Biscuits and Gravy are good, could use a protein or side as the biscuits are very dense. Sofia was my server this last time and she was entertaining and fun. She did an incredible job interacting with me and my client.

I took a class tonight in gun safety for women with a friend I went to high school with. Daniel taught our class, and couldn't have done a better job. We got to try out possible guns to buy, learned a lot of information that will help us be better gun owners , and we had fun. We plan on hiring Daniel for a semi-private lesson to sharpen our skills and knowledge even more! Thank you, Daniel!

Amazing restaurant with a chic atmosphere. It is especially nice that they have huge screens for any sports fans out there. We got the patty melt and the kale salad with chicken. Both are very delicious :)

This is a hidden gem near Colorado Mills! You can order anything off the menu and it will be delicious! However, the cheese curds reign supreme. The vibe is super chill with dart boards, couches, and TV's playing every game you would want to watch.

So super neat facility. The server who greeted us and took our order was the best part of the whole experience, they were very nice and attentive. Sadly the bartender who made our drinks used rye (the menu said whiskey, we watched her make it and wondered why she picked up the rye) and when you pair that with ginger beer, it becomes a pepper bomb that left a painful tongue burn hours later after one drink. And didn't help we watched her reach under her shirt and dig under her armpit and adjust bra straps before then digging out a cherry from the jar for some poor souls old fashion to drop straight in their drink. Oh and it gets better. She then proceeded to lick the cherry syrup off her fingers and handled several drinks going out at the well, never once stopping to wash her hands or even wipe them off with anything other than brushing them off on her pants at the hips. And that was just a single drink round. The food was even worse. We ordered a flat bread that was just straight bad. We paid and left after eating less than a 1/3 of it. Burnt dough, no sauce for flavor, used regular slice tomatoes instead of Roma's, honestly they're not even trying. lol. We would have talked to a manager just for some constructive feedback (awesome concept but they're wasting a great opportunity) but didn't look like there was one to talk to. Hope they get the bar and kitchen figured out, missing a big chance at an excellent place!

Unexpected surprise! I happened to find this place on Yelp and agree with the comments. It's a little strange walking into a shooting range for a meal, but it's worth it. Service was friendly (even dressed for St. Patrick's day!) and prompt, food was good, and the place is extremely clean and has a classy feel without being stuffy We were comfortable wearing casual clothes. We'll definitely be back.

Great drinks, GREAT food, great employees. We live nearby and come in to eat whenever we can. Their new fall menu is amazing! As a dual Canadian-American citizen I was thrilled to see poutine on the menu, and it is absolutely perfect. The staff are all so wonderful. You won't even realize you're in a shooting range once you're in The Barrel Room!

So, I'm jumping on the 5 star bandwagon. This place is in a shooting range. The place opened 5/22. Very elegant for a shooting range. I'm pretty much anti-gun. But, not anti-responsible gun. We made reservations and had a great brunch/lunch today (Sunday afternoon). The food was exquisite! (As I expected from the reviews). Service was good and attentive. We had a "tour" of the place afterwards. There are only 4 or 5 actual tables to dine. Lots of couches (for after shooting drinks?) Nice sized bar top. I highly recommend this place and it will become a regular spot for us. Heck, I may even shoot a gun

We literally just wandered in to check it out. What a gem! Food was excellent and Marla was a wonderful host. Locally sourced ingredients and whiskey. Not too loud, perfect for conversation. If you are around Colorado Mills, you really need to come check them out.

My daughter and I stopped in for brunch on Sunday. Such a delightful experience. My Bloody Mary was delicious. Service was great. The cook came out to answer a question for me. I had a corned beef hash dish with poached eggs, one of their specialty dishes. I highly recommend it. The ambiance was relaxing and comfortable. Great lighting. Definitely will return. One of the owners stopped by our table to assure everything was alright. The personal touches from owner and staff added to my experience.

The BEST brunch in Lakewood! The food and service here are outstanding, the menu is delicious, and the cocktail menu is top notch. They make a point to provide items from local breweries and distilleries. Make sure to try the bacon flight, corned beef hash, or any of the benedicts. My mouth is watering just talking about it!

Great food, great service and an interesting selection of drinks. Several big screens if you want to watch sports but it doesn't overwhelm you. Nice place.

At first I was taken back by the entrance of a shooting range, but the restaurant off the side was very good- my patty melt was great and service was excellent. It was quiet at lunch.

Absolutely love the food, drinks, and service at the Barrel Room. The food is incredibly fresh and prepared to perfection, not to mention a menu of items worth telling your friends about. And the cocktails, along with the selection of local spirits, always amaze me. We take our kids here for family nights out, as well as friends and family when we are looking to impress with casual dining that exceeds expectations.
