Stopped in at The Bayou Affect while working through Baton Rouge, and damn—it hit the spot. The wings were straight-up addicting, that spicy lemon pepper needs its own fan club. Catfish was crispy, seasoned right, and cooked with care. Portions? Big enough to refuel after a long day grinding.
Service was cool, vibe was clean, and the food came out hot. You can tell they’re serious about flavor and feeding folks like family. This ain’t fast food—it’s real food.
If you're ever out this way and want something that feels homemade but hits hard, don’t sleep on it. I’ll definitely be back.
