Food was amazing. Service was of quality. Atmosphere and aesthetics could use some improving. Overall, a great experience! The portion sizes are HUGE to ask for sharable plates. Please try the drinks, they are absolutely the freshest on the strip! If you need a recommendation all the omelets are super good; start there and work your way up.

Google
Amazing experience! The seafood crepes were packed with seafood. The crepes Kathryn had so much fresh fruit and the dirty banana crepes are dessert for breakfast. This place never disappoints, they hustle and are appreciative of people being patient during the wait. We were told 15 minute wait and really waited about 5.

This is my first time at the Bayside Skillet. It's been here in Ocean City since 1977, nearly half a century. I've been to Ocean City hundreds of times in the past half century. I should have come to the Bayside Skillet before. It's excellent. There's a big free parking lot out front. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. They have a great kids menu. The food is amazing, and the portions are generous. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. I heartily recommend The Bayside Skillet.

Google
Okay Food& Service… We went to The BaySide Skillet for breakfast. They only had different variations of crepes, Omelet and breakfast meat(bacon! Sausages etc) . I ordered The Kathryn Crepes; it was a lot& good. The fresh squeezed OJ was good too. The reason for 3 stars. Con: can’t order 1or 2 scrambled eggs only omelettes( 4 eggs) which was too much. Can’t order regular pancakes only crepes. The name is Bayside Skillet; I thought they would have more breakfast options. Lastly the decor was colorful; the carpet needs to go.

Google
We come here every year. Food is excellent! Fresh squeezed juices, fruit crepes, omelets. Good sized portions. Dog friendly. Something for everyone. Parking can be hard to find, but keep circling and a spot will open.

We ate breakfast here for the first time. Our experience was very good. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we're not needing anything, always trying to give us more coffee😄 My husband had the veggie fritatta, and I had sausage gravy over crepes. And the fresh squeezed juices were the best we've ever had!

Google
Bayside Skillet is one of my favorite places on Earth! The decor is charming, staff friendly, and food is AMAZING. be ready for HUGE portions and don't be afraid to share dishes. It's always incredible. Don't skip the fresh squeezed orange juice or the dirty bananas royale crepes!

Google
My husband and I have been here twice and the service has been outstanding both times. They did a great job of learning our needs and responding to them many times without us even asking. The portions are VERY generous, and they don’t mind guests sharing. If you’re a coffee lover who likes cream and sugar, you may want to opt for ordering a serving of their delicious Chantilly cream to mix into your coffee. Unfortunately there were a couple of flies that wanted to join our brunch, but that comes with having an open air restaurant sometimes. We loved the heated patio option on this cold rainy day down here at the ocean. Warm and dry but still lots of light from outside and a good enough view of the water in the distance. Again, the service was FANTASTIC.

Yelp
We walked here for breakfast after a morning walk on the beach. We sat at the bar outdoors and had a nice view of the bay. Get the seafood crepes!!! They are brimming with lump crab meat, scallops, and shrimp. Just out of this world delicious. I told our server I'll think of those crepes the rest of my life. Haha! We also got the fried potatoes. Our server said those can be ordered topped with the same seafood medley as the crepes. I'm sure that would be delicious. We also ordered the Lump Crab and Cheese omelette. It has Old Bay on top and it was served with a sweet crepe on the side. We really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere of the place. Would love to return on our next family visit.

Yelp
The vibe of this place is better than the food overall, but I enjoyed it and would definitely come back! The theme is pink and colorful, which made it very aesthetically pleasing. We sat on the outside balcony, covered with colorful umbrellas The menu is limited in that there are really only omelette and crepe options, so being in the mood for either of those is essential to enjoying the menu. Some of the omelette dishes lacked flavor, but the seafood omelette and Philly cheesesteak omelette were pretty good! It was crowded, but service and wait time was stellar.

Yelp
Came here with a group of 9. Parking lot was full, but we luckily got seated right away without any reservations. I had not been here in like 35 years. This place did not disappoint. We ordered a variety of crepes to try varying from savory to sweet desert. The food was delicious and a must try and if you have never been here before.

Yelp
On a Saturday morning, this place seemed to have the shortest wait. When we arrived, there were tons of people waiting. Luckily, they turn tables quickly and it's a huge restaurant. We waited for about 10-15 minutes which was great considering the amount of folks on the list. The hostess was really nice. She cautioned is that the portions were large. We took her advice and ordered two entree's for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. It was more than enough for us. We tried the Potatoes Ariel and the Cheesesteak omelette. The Ariel was okay. Had a ton of seafood but I am not a fan of shrimp that still has the veins in it. The scallops were overcooked. Parts of the potatoes were burnt. The omelette wasn't bad. The free crepe that comes with it wasn't good. The food was a bit kore on the expensive side for breakfast food. It would've been okay if it was better. The server was friendly and came to check on us often. Since there are many breakfast places to check out in Ocean City, I would say try another.

Yelp
This place fills up around 9:30 on a Sunday. Food is a bit below average. Nothing stood out as delicious. The chorizo omelette was soaking wet and the mozzarella cheese in the middle was not melted at all. The crepe with spinach and bacon wasn't anything special. Just tasted like how those items would taste together.
google avatar

Cissy H.

Yelp
Great place for brunch with friends! Their plates are huge so definitely recommend sharing~ I loved their chorizo pan-fried potatoes, it was seasoned really well and the potato was also very crispy. My absolute favorite was the chocolate strawberry crepe! The cream, strawberries, and chocolate all went together so well and the fruit was very fresh too. I also got the orange juice and you can really tell it's freshly squeezed! Overall it was delicious and a great price. Our server was super sweet and accommodating to our group of 8!
google avatar

Yelp
Bayside skillet was very cute and very classic oc. This place had sweet and flavorful crepes with a good crush on deck. I tasted the seafood crepe and almost melted it was so delicious. I ordered the cheesesteak crepe and it was bussin. Our service was good and the wait was minimal considering the place was packed. Great crepes and great vibes.

Yelp
Big tourist focused omelette and crepes type breakfast joint. Great view from the patio. Horrible pink color venue. Great service!

Nikki L.

Yelp
love the service. Waitress was so kind. Apple pie crepe was so yummy. Free crepe for my baby girl. Good strong coffee. Yum.
google avatar

Mel L.

Yelp
Love the aesthetic of this place. I first came for a bachelorette last Summer and it was awesome. Cool concept of omelettes and crepes and so many options! Service is good and fast, the people are nice. Came again today and still liked it a lot. Cute merchandise, love the seating areas, etc. What I didn't love was the coffee was a bit tasteless, the omelette had zero seasoning, and my napkin had some ladies lipstick marks still all over it. But no worries- I will still continue to come back here!

Yelp
According to our friends who live nearby, Bayside Skillet has a reputation of being one of the best breakfast spots in Ocean City. This past Saturday morning, we had the opportunity to see for ourselves. All I can say is.. the reputation is well deserved! The menu is large here with lots of interesting choices. Once I saw crepes on the menu, I knew my wife would love this place. She did! She ordered the Hot Crepes with strawberries. I ordered something I never had before, the Strawberry Blintz. This dish is an omelette stuffed with cream cheese, strawberries, and brown sugar, topped with more strawberries. It sounds crazy, but was delicious! One other thing not to sleep on in this place is the orange juice. Squeezed from oranges right before being served, it was so good! We were here in April so there was no wait. In season, however, there is a line. Just get on it, you won't be sorry!
google avatar

Sharvani M.

Yelp
Good food and great service! Suuuuper crowded for brunch on a Saturday morning, but seating was quick and our server was really helpful and fun. I asked for one of the egg hashes to be made into potato hash instead (replacing the egg) and they were super accommodating. I got a side of chantilly cream to mix into my coffee which was delicious! However, the strawberries were not super fresh and not sure if I would recommend them. Overall a great experience! Fun, quick service, great spot in Ocean City for breakfast.
google avatar

Bill P.

Yelp
The food and service has always been consistently great. Any place that has ice cream on the breakfast menu is topping my list. Servers never let my coffee or my water empty. I would highly recommend it's worth the wait.
google avatar

Carlie S.

Yelp
Bayside Skillet will forever my absolute favorite restaurant in OC. Not only is the food perfect every single time, the ambience and service is impeccable. They're very dog friendly, as long as your dog is friendly and leashed. We bring ours each time we go and they're always ready with a bowl of water for him and some lovin'. I'm a simpleton so I get the cinnamon sugar crepes with strawberries and freshly squeezed orange juice!
google avatar

Deane C.

Yelp
This is my update from a few years ago. Everything is still EXCELLENT! A great place! Truly. Just wanted to add that. You guys are great! FYI, I have no affiliation with this business. I'm just telling it like it is. ENJOY!
google avatar

Tiffany B.

Yelp
This spot was THE cutest. It gives big Strawberry Shortcake vibes. Their specialty is their crepes and it really shows - they are so delicious, especially with the plethora of toppings you could choose from. My favorite being the classic strawberry and chocolate. Their omelettes were also great, and each come with a crepe and jam as well, so you don't need to worry about missing out. I highly suggest ordering their orange juice to drink - it is freshly squeezed each order. So refreshing. Service was great and plenty of parking. Just a warning it gets pretty busy, so don't be surprised if there is a wait.
google avatar

Payton D.

Yelp
Not a huge breakfast person, but I love to go here for the crepes. The Bayside Skillet is a very good spot for Brunch. I love to go here at least once a summer when in Ocean City. Their crepes are so yummy. My favorite ones to get are the sweet crepes with strawberries and Nutella. Another thing I want to highlight is how fresh everything tastes. The fruit is so good because you can taste the freshness. The lemonade is also very very good. The service is always good each and every time I've been here. It's also a place that feels very home-y and comfortable.
google avatar

Amber R.

Yelp
This place was absolutely fantastic. Our friend found it and it was our very first experience in Ocean City. I got the Loco Leprechaun, a combo of chilaquiles and chorizo omelette. Best of both worlds! We also shared strawberry mimosas, so yummy. The blue sugar rim was such a creative nice touch I'd never seen before. The waiter was really cute too. We felt like a group from Saved by the Bell going to a fun tropical place for brunch. It's filled with color, outdoor bar, and fun activities all around. If they didn't have brunch hours we could've stayed there all day.
google avatar

Carin Y.

Yelp
A must try for brunch, if you're in the Ocean City area! Although it's a big venue, I'd recommend going as early as you can since Bayside is walk-in only. FOOD - 5/5: CREPES ARE A MUST! Portions are huge, so I'd recommend doing family style. My friends and I (3 people total) got the: - Crepes Kathryn: 5/5 - Choice 3 fruits to go on your crepes. If you're going in the summer. Definitely get the peaches! The crepes were so fluffy, almost like a pancake texture. - Bauern - 5/5: Heavy potato dish, but if you're looking for a savory dish for brunch, this is a great option.

Yelp
We loved everything about this place! The restaurant is right off the Main Street and has a very large parking lot, with cute little photo ops spots outside the building. We were seated right away and greeted quickly by our waitress. The whole place had this pink tropical look and was screaming "Golden Girls" vibes. I loved it! The menu is pretty large and the waitress warned us that the portions are huge and they encourage sharing if we don't eat a lot. There's also a nice sized drink menu. We ordered a bowl of strawberries with their house made whip, and they were right about the portion size being huge! I got a buffalo chicken omelet which came with a small butter crepe with jam. Delicious!!! The table also had a banana Nutella crepe and the three meat omelet and loved it to. The food was fast and service super nice! We left very fat and happy!

Yelp
This place shocks me with every visit. The line is out the asses long typically although we have never had more than a 10min wait. The service is always great and you're made to feel like the staff has been waiting on your arrival. If you like crepes then this is your spot although I never order them, because most omelets come with one of those solo skinny cakes. Im an omelette guy and they have like a dozen to choose from. Actually the menu is big and if you like OJ, the exotic fresh squeezed tropical kind just from the grove then let me be the first to tell ya. WOW. Anyways, this is a must stop for us every OCMD visit. The restaurant has just about all the seating options although don't expect diner seating or that kind of menu pricing. Great spot! Ask for extra cheese if you like cheese.
google avatar

Maxine J.

Yelp
I'm in my late 50's so coming to OCMD is not anything new ... we just haven't been since before COVID. Anyways, we're here this weekend and I am, quite honestly, STILL loving all of the family establishments up and down Costal Highway. We're trying to keep it light this weekend so breakfast this morning was @ Bayside Skillet. This is ALWAYS in our rotation when we come to OC and, again, this visit did NOT disappoint. GREAT service, portion sizes, merchandise shop, coffee, fresh squeezed oj, management, wait time, etc., etc. The food is delicious and comes out SUPER quick. Our entrees this time included potatoes Ariel, potatoes Tara and a triple meats/cheese omelette and crepe platter. Two thumbs up across the board. Such a cute upscale diner ... they even still use real tablecloths! Please add this to your foodie bucket list and mention you read it on Yelp!

Yelp
I seriously cannot understand how this place isn't a straight 5-Star. First time at Ocean City Bike Week and hit here for breakfast. from the get-go it was outstanding. We ordered the Standard and Strawberry Mimosa's and they were spot-on. The standard was fresh squeezed oranges as well as fresh strawberries for the other one. If one has never had freshly squeezed you are truly missing out. We shared a Bauern Omellete and a side of Bacon. Can't say enough about the omelette. it was perfectly cooked and just enough to not be stuffed. The bacon had a hint of Siracha and Brown Sugar, which was quite a surprise. It is now in my Top 10 things I would fight a gator for.

Yelp
Super filling portions, speedy service, comprehensive menu, and delicious food. Highly recommend the hot Dutch apple crepes. Will definitely be returning.
google avatar

Frank R.

Yelp
The food was excellent. My wife ordered the three meat & cheese omelet and I ordered the spinach bacon crepe. Portions are the very large so plan to take some home for lunch. The waitress was wonderful and pre warned us of the large portion size. The seating area was comfortable and clean and the classical music in the background was not loud and appropriate for breakfast. We would certainly come back again.
google avatar

Nate S.

Yelp
Crepes and potatoes are wonderful! Orange crush is tasty too! I enjoyed it! Great service as well.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
We were looking for somewhere to be able take our puppy with us for breakfast before we headed back home. Even in the off season, they offer an inclosed heated deck that is dog-friendly. All staff were friendly to both us and our puppy, offering him treats. The food was so good, too! Huge portions! We split the Greek omelette, three fruit crepes, and a side of turkey sausage (yum)! Wish we lived closer! Would easily return!
google avatar

Rick H.

Yelp
Legit, delicious and fast!!! Like you order and your food is out in 10min. Coffee was ok. Fresh squeezed OJ was LEGIT fresh from FL oranges fresh. Omelets, kids crepes, side bacon and potatoes all delicious. 2 people can split an omelette, bacon as potatoes and you'll be stuffed! No complaints...if I wanted to I'd say the coffee is the weakness but I've only have good coffee from a restaurant twice in 25yrs...French press is my preference. We'll be returning this summer!
google avatar

Danielle D.

Yelp
Had a wonderful breakfast here as usual. Line moved super quick and Jack was a wonderful and fun server! Loved the addition of the candied bacon to the menu
google avatar

Rhonda C.

Yelp
I was told this place is a must visit when in the area. Stopped in to celebrate a friend's birthday and glad I got to experience this gem. Things I enjoyed: - Our waitress was top notch! She managed a table of 10 hungry adults in a time crunch with ease! Even though we could only split three ways, she allowed us to decide what items went on which check which made it easy for us. - they accept Apple Pay! As someone who left her wallet at home...glad to know there were options - juice is fresh squeezed (at least the orange juice)! Love that! - portion sizes are HUGE and it's reasonably priced - even with it being SUPER crowded, our group of 10 was able to be seated fairly quickly! Things to note: - I wasn't a huge fan of the food...unfortunately. I had the Crab Meat Frittata and a side of potatoes. Both needed some additional pizzaz. My friends felt the same about their food as well.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Great staff, colorful decor, killer omelettes. They don't serve toast but you wouldn't even want it. I'm always full when I leave. This place is a must when I'm visiting Assateague.
google avatar

Nicole A.

Yelp
If you like crepes, you will love it here! Alas, I don't eat crepes nor does anyone else we were with so our options for breakfast were limited. Kids had Nutella and banana crepes and they were overwhelmingly stuffed with Nutella. It was too much. I wound up having the berry bowl and some leftover Nutella crepe. I left feeling meh. My husband had a spinach omelet and said it was basic but good. Service was pretty good and food was delivered quickly. But for $83 and to not be satisfied, we won't return. However, if you are obsessed with crepes like a lot of the other people dining there must be, then definitely try this place! Portion sizes are ample!
google avatar

Bill S.

Yelp
Waited 15 minutes for our family.... The dirty banana was very good. Had an amazing time with our kids and enjoyed the fresh lemonade. Prices were a little high but the food was tasty.
google avatar

Paulie M.

Yelp
Read some good reviews about this place before coming to OC. Came with my parents and grandparents, pretty sizable group. No wait at all, seated immediately and the restaurant was not busy at all. Service was fast, food was served in large portions as well. Kelly was our waitress, and she was very nice and very talkative. The crepes and omelets were delicious, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. 5/5 stars, would recommend!
google avatar

Kaitlyn G.

Yelp
Incredible- best breakfast place ever! The fresh squeezed orange juice was by far the BEST we've ever had! Food came out quickly and they even brought out a sharing plate with an extra crepe for our little guy!
google avatar

Sara S.

Yelp
Great fresh fruit and juice. The crepes and cream were light and airy, so it makes the perfect beach breakfast. Service was great! Our waiter made sure we were taken care off right away, and he was very polite. There was a huge line outside of the restaurant, but we were seated efficiently in 15 minutes. Sometimes wait times can be chaotic but they nailed it down. Overall, a great eat.
google avatar

Beth P.

Yelp
Back again and still does not disappoint. Accommodated my dietary needs and went above and beyond. The updates to the restaurant and parking lot are lovely. And of course the staff was incredible! Helpful and totally service with a smile!
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
The food is so good! The wait staff was extremely responsive and fast. The restaurant is cute too with nice plants all over. We will be back. We really enjoyed our breakfast
google avatar

Isabella B.

Yelp
Everything I want in a brunch restaurant! Lively atmosphere, very kind servers, mimosas&drinks, amazing food. My girlfriend and I shared the Hotlanta chicken crepes and the seafood omelette. There was SO much seafood in it, such a generous portion!!!! We went back twice in 2 days because we loved it so much. Sit outside! And order the cinnamon toast brunch shots. Yum all around! Must try!
google avatar

Yelp
Phenomenal! Would 100% go again. Food: I ordered the crepe Kathryn with bananas, strawberries and hot Dutch apples. The portions definitely did not disappoint. There was so much fruit in my crepe and it was all fresh as well. The whip cream was thick and taste home made. I asked for syrup on the side and it was one of the best syrups I've ever tasted. It was thick, tastes fresh, and layered perfectly with the whip cream. My table also ordered the western omelette (it had chicken, sour cream, and salsa) and it was really good. The omelette has 4-5 eggs served fresh and is packed with the added ingredients. Ambiance: The outside of the restaurant is so cute and makes you smile. When we entered there was plenty of seating and no wait times. We sat down and inside definitely matches the outside in cuteness. Our waitress was also so nice and friendly. She let us know that even through the meals are a bit pricier for a breakfast place they make up for it in their portions (one omelette has 4-5 eggs).
google avatar

Marianne Navarro ..

Yelp
This place maintain a the cutest vibe and delivers fast service despite the insane volume of people they serve on any given day. I loved the El Crabador frittata Benedict. It exceeds expectations. Pair it with a side of potatoes and a freshly squeezed orange juice. The peach crepes with Chantilly Crème are also a new favorite.
google avatar

Josh J.

Yelp
I know a lot of people like this place but it isn't for me. We didn't like the omelette nor the crepes. We got a ham and cheese, 3 meat omelette, and cinnamon sugar crepes. Portion of the omelettes were big but I personally do not like large hunks of ham as I prefer them cut up smaller. My daughter didn't like her crepes either. It's been probably 10,years since I've been here and probably won't be back. Service was fine and the outside eating area had a wonderful view.

Chantal G.

Yelp
Fantastic and delicious breakfast options, fun and outdoorsy interior, exceptional service. This place really does have it all, excluding the highly inflated prices. Just about any breakfast item you get is priced like a dinner entrée, and an expensive one at that. That said, you could probably share most of them, but that is rarely a solution, at least in my family. Only four stars because of the price.
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
This is my go to whenever I'm in town. The food is amazing and the ambience is magical. I highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Danielle C.

Yelp
Great omelets! The spinach crepe was the only miss we had. The spinach was just... off. The omelet with onion, ham and cheese was wonderful as was the fruit crepe. The strawberry mimosa was pretty but thick so a bit difficult to drink. We liked the atmosphere and staff though!

Jeff K.

Yelp
A wonderful, well run place at the beach. Our housemates recommended Bayside for a great breakfast and it did not disappoint. We each had an omelette, they were rich, perfectly seasoned and very well cooked. Not overcooked or over/under seasoned like so many places do with eggs. The hash browns were excellent and each omelette is served with a crepe and homemade strawberry preserves. A nice addition. Service was kind, fast and very efficient. Our server warned us that portions are huge, she was spot on. I took the leftovers home and had them for lunch.(I NEVER take leftovers home). People were standing in the parking lot during our breakfast taking selfies with the sign, place must be famous! A great little breakfast place!
google avatar

Jay G.

Yelp
Bayside skillet is a great place to dine for brunch, they have delicious food choices. The staff is friendly and prompt. Restaurant has a nice aesthetic.

Mae Marie M.

Yelp
Great menu selection and friendly staff. Prices are fair and easy parking area. The atmosphere is cool. A good vibe.

Yelp
This is the breakfast place we've been looking for in OC. If you like omelets or crepes this is the place to be. Both are delicious. Place is crowded on the weekends, even during the offseason but that should tell you something, shouldn't it? The place is very well run, the lines are long but you get seated quickly even during peak times (its a large place and they turn over tables fast). The food was great both times we went there. My wife and I both got omelets the first visit and my wife got the dirty banana crepes the 2nd time. Delicious and a ton of food. The leftovers are going to be tasty tomorrow for breakfast. Also of note is the fact that this is the only place I have found so far that makes breakfast potatoes from scratch (and they are awesome!) and doesn't reheat those square cubes that look like frozen Bob Evans potatoes.
