LA Chefs Show Off Their Favorite Watches to Use in the Kitchen | Eater LA

"A busy, high-pressure restaurant kitchen where a chef promoted to chef de cuisine found delicate watches unsuited to daily service and ultimately adopted a rugged, shock- and water-resistant timepiece — illustrating the demanding physical environment behind the restaurant’s operations." - Matthew Kang

What a fun little shop! Delightful array of jewelry, clothing, decor, and imported foods and spices. The owner was so charming and fun to chat with. This is a great spot to check out while in Eastport!

A unique gem of a shop with beautiful art, jewelry and an amazing array of epicurean delights. The owner, David, is fantastic as well! Absolutely worth visiting this hidden treasure.

The Bazaar is an Eastport treasure. As you walk in you will see great gifts and clothing and then, as you look around, you will see David’s Oja’s jewelry! Most designed and made by David, the earrings and necklaces are elegant, fun and unique. The wine selection is varied, affordable and with David’s knowledge you will find what you are looking for. If that is not enough, there is a selection of olive oils, spices, pastas, flour, jars of olives and more. Enjoy !

If you find yourself in the charming city of Eastport, you absolutely must visit The Bazaar! This hidden gem, owned by the interesting, flamboyant, and amazing David, offers an incredible selection of charcuterie that will tantalize your taste buds, perfectly curated spices, and wines that are the ideal pairing for any occasion. And that’s not all—there’s also a delightful clothing boutique that adds a touch of style to your visit. Every visit is a true delight, and it’s definitely the best thing in the city!

Great little shop, selection of imported goods and wine, plus hand made jewelry and a host of other local products adds up to something normally found in a much larger city or community. Located in Quoddy Village off Maine state highway 190. Look for the Quoddy Village sign, you can't miss the Bazaar.

A tiny bit off the beaten path, The Bazaar is an institution and should not be missed. David is not only one of the most friendly and enchanting souls in Downeast Maine, but has clearly dedicated himself to making the finer things available to visitors and locals alike. For otherwise difficult to find flavors, spices, imported wines, local cheeses, and handicrafts you will find nowhere better than The Bazaar! Getting to share stories with Oja is worth the visit alone.❣️

Yelp
What a wonderful place! I wandered in just to see what was going on and found kindness, joy, and an insane collection of wine, tasty goods, and seasonings. David was kind and it was a peaceful wonderful experience. Plus I got wine and cheese.
