The 8 Best Barbecue Restaurants in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County | Eater Miami

"With “fusion kitchen” under its name out front, you feel the creativity at this Coconut Creed joint. Barbecue in a bowl is very much a vibe here, with the All-American being worth any drive. It includes smoked brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, pinto beans, coleslaw, and tangy pickled onions. The menu is extensive—make sure to share some pork belly-dashed yuca and some honey garlic wings."

After watching Brennan Taylor I had to make a trip south to try. I had the All American bowl and the Wife had Parmesan Garlic wings. Be a little patient, as it takes a little time to get your fresh meal. Everything was really tasty. The Brisket had a great smoky flavor, it could have used just a little bit more seasoning. But with the side of BBQ sauce, it didn’t matter. The Pork was seasoned to perfection. The Mac and Cheese was also a hit. I replaced the Pickled Onions and Slaw with the Cilantro Lime rice. That was also a hit with the pinto beans. These guys have a gem here. And they will be here for a long time. Definitely a spot to hit, when I head to South Florida area.

First timer! We went during early dinner hours on a weekday and it was pretty empty. The food came out quick and it’s was pretty tasty overall. The chicken wings were my favorite! The sides were decent. The brisket was juicy. Next time I’m going to try the ribs!

Heard about this place from a friend and decided to check it out. I got the garlic Parmesan and double j wings. They were grilled to perfection. My partner got the brisket, and two sides. The whole meal was a chefs kiss. So delicious

Google
Meat was really good. We had Brisket and Baby back Ribs, loaded Yuca and macaroni for kids. In my opinion, portions size are a little bit small for the price or if you think about it as a complete meal it gets pricey.

Google
Food was phenomenal! It was delicious to the last bite, The kitchen staff are super cool, the lady at the entrance though should be probably trained better. She seemed very lost and did not explain at any point the dynamic of the place and when I went to ask for more bbq sauces she pretty much demanded the bill to be paid when we had not even started eating, I mean if that's the way the place operates is cool by me... but explain it in advance right? All summed had a good time, great food! Definitely will come back.

While i was craving for burger, I found this place that was really outrageously delicious and juicy BBQ meat. Serves was excellent and prices were reasonable. I very much recommend the place.

Google
Found this restaurant while searching for BBQ on Google. The reviews looked legit so we gave it a try and I'm glad we did. Best BBQ I've tried in this area, sides were all very fresh amd delicious. The loaded yucca fries were just too good. Cant wait to come back

Google
Mauricio with a very good server and Lizzie came by to clear our table and told us all about the food that we ate The atmosphere is very nice and the eggs Benedict was made with a fantastic holiday sauce and an actual slice of pork and not just Canadian bacon which made the experience all that much more seem like a homemade gourmet experience. Prices were little higher than expected but the food was also better than expected. Great place we will come here again

Yelp
I'd really want to give a 3.5. I jumped to 4 since I did like the brisket. I just wish it was more seasoned. We ordered takeout directly from BBQ Boutique's website and tried 2 pounds of brisket. The brisket was very tender, sliced nicely, and juicy--which I appreciated--but it lacked seasoning and overall flavor. Still, the texture was spot on. The coleslaw was a miss for me--it was very liquidy and heavy on the mayo, which I don't love. We also ordered two sides of fries, which were just average and on the smaller side. On the plus side, they included plenty of barbecue sauce and ranch, but the ranch tasted like basic bottled dressing--not fresh or house-made. Overall, the brisket had potential, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it just yet. I might give it one more try and sample some of their other meats before making a final decision.

Yelp
My family came over to visit yesterday and we ordered from here via uber eats. They had a buy 1 get 1 free on pulled pork sandwiches and everyone was excited to try it. I'm not a fan of pork, or the idea of trusting other people to cook meat, so I didn't eat a single thing. Thank god I didn't. Every single member of my family was sick. 4 PEOPLE VOMITED after ingesting this particular sandwich and everyone was crippled over with severe stomach pains. I don't know what's worse: the idea that everyone got sick because meat was mishandled/cooked incorrectly or the possibility it was about to go bad and they decided to do a promotion on garbage quality meat to get rid of it. Regardless of the reason: I will never eat here again and I will never recommend anyone eat here.

Yelp
I was craving for some bbq and I came across to this place and the smoked brisket was really good and the Mac and cheese and well. The creamy from the Mac and cheese was on point and delicious. The service was great. You have to pick up the food when they called your name. There are some regular seating area or they have a bench seating area that make you feel like you are kind of outdoor feelings.

Yelp
The menu was a bit intimidating at first but the cashier did an excellent job explaining it. We got the fit bowl and the aloha bowl and we're quite pleased with our choices. The ambiance is good except for there seems to be an underlying market selling extremely expensive bbq supplies which personally I felt it just took away from the dining experience. My only real complaint is that they charge $4 for a 20oz bottle of soda . At least bring in a fountain machine. But we will definitely be going back

Yelp
Ordered from these folks tonight and food was really good. 1/2lb Brisket ($20) was moist but not a lot of seasoning. The full rack of baby back ribs ($35) was cooked perfectly with mild bbq sauce and nicely smoked. The meat was not fall off the bone, but very tasty. The coleslaw that came with it was decent, sweet.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious, and the portion size was perfect. The bowl with picanha, rice, beans, and vinagrete took me right back to my home in Brazil--simply amazing!

Yelp
Ambiance - Very Clean & Spacious with several drink options to choose from. Service - order at the front desk/ cashier, pay and have a seat until they call your name Food- 10/10 Every bite of our food was delicious! Just when I thought cheesy fries was it- nope they compare nothing to the cheesy yuca fries!! Omg what a delicious creation! Bite after bite it was just pure deliciousness. You must order these - and thank me later. The hubs and I ordered some bowls mine was the Fit bowl that came with grilled chicken, cilantro rice, pickled onions packing a ton of flavor and absolutely zero guilt because everything in this bowl was healthy and most importantly tasty. The hubs had the pork and pineapple bowl also packed with tons of flavor. 10/10 for both of the bowls. Chicken wings & Sweet potato fries - 10/10 Definitely will be back to try the other bowls.

Yelp
Amazing BBQ! Don't be dissuaded by the outside look of the building! It is in a corner of a shopping center but this is by far the best BBQ my husband and I have had in the area thusfar! Service was quick and we had our food within 15 minutes of ordering and sitting down. Great exp

Yelp
Delicious! The store front was deceiving...in a shopping center with sliding doors, but the reviews said it was the best so we tried it...The bbq sauce was thick and sweet, Mac n cheese was creamy, and the fries were crispy! Nice staff and fast delivery of our food...Highly recommend!

Yelp
My family and I really enjoy the build your own bowls at this restaurant! They have some great toppings that are not available at restaurants like this one. Their steak and chicken are both juicy and delicious! If you go there to eat, you get served with real plates, bowls, and silverware. Their takeout is also boxed up neatly to preserve freshness. I highly recommend trying them out!!!

Yelp
I've been to the Planet Fitness near this location a dozen times, but never noticed this place! Its tucked to the side of a regularly busy plaza. After seeing a reel on Instagram about this restaurant I knew I had to come try it out. The place is nice and spacious inside, lots of seating. Its clean, simplistic and calming. They have many sauces and products on display for sale. Staff were very friendly and from the time we placed the order to the time we got our food only like 10 minutes had passed. Service was crazy fast, but the quality didn't suffer, which is even better. We got the smokehouse nachos. Id say the layering for the nachos could have been a bit better and maybe a bit more meat, but the flavor was amazing! Warm, crispy seasoned chips, smokey pork, this tangy creamy sauce and fresh veggies. Would absolutely get it again. I got the fit bowl which came with chimi chicken, brown cilantro rice, pickled red onion and garbanzo bean salad (I also got extra chimichurri on the side.) I wouldn't change anything in this bowl. Bursting with flavor, and I could eat it guilt-free. I felt full after eating it, but not weighed down as it was a light and not greasy. My friend got the pulled pork quesadilla. Fresh, toasty, warm, gooey cheese and a good amount of meat. Was exactly as expected. Those three dishes with 2 cans of coke came to a little over $50. Its a bit pricey, but I think its worth it. I'll absolutely be back to try some of their other dishes, like their wings!

Yelp
I ordered the All American, which consisted of Brisket, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, pintos, and coleslaw. The pintos were great different than I had before and amazing flavor. The Mac N cheese were also good. Now the not so good. The brisket lack flavor almost tasteless. After the first bite I drowned it Barbeque sauce so had some flavor. The pulled pork was worse, not much flavor and half of it was like mush.... Except for the Mac n cheese the servings were tiny given the pricing point of $19 for lunch. One piece of tasteless Brisket and half a scoop of pork mush.

Yelp
This gem is great are all your BBQ needs. You can buy anything you need for BBQ at home or eat amazing BBQ food here. Everyone was very friendly when ordering at the counter. (You have to pick up your food when it's ready) They have plenty of big tables so you can come with big groups with no problem! My favorite were the baby back ribs! The meat just fell right off the bone. Their mac n cheese and fries are great sides to get. I also tried their brisket sandwich which was so good the meat had a lot of flavor. If you want something a little healthier you can build your own bowl or order from their signature bowls!

Sam N.

Yelp
Pretty good food, service and the place is clean but the portions were really small. After eating a bowl I was still hungry. Won't be back.

Yelp
Quick service, great selection, specials are super fair price and very spacious. I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
We consulted our Yelp community after our 7 year old son requested to eat barbecue. When we arrived, this restaurant's side of the parking lot was abandoned. We entered and saw a big tv, fridges and merchandise on the right. A divider display case with cool items, and a second store bag that's an open kitchen and part of the dining area. Somehow, there were a bunch of great ideas, but it looks like they came from different people that all wanted to do their own thing. It doesn't feel like one style. We learned that the friendly lady at the counter would take our order. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. We ordered a healthy style bowl that was entirely customized and tasted great. We also ordered a brisket sandwich that was good as well. We selected cole slaw on the side. I like pepper on cole slaw and noticed salt and pepper were missing on all tables. My little had the Plain Jane burger and fries. He really liked the fries. The burger.... He left most to "share with me". I tasted it and it was weird. It felt weird in my mouth. I did not consume the bite I took. I'm in between 3 and 4 stars but feel bad for my kiddo. I did make it a teachable moment and explained that he can tell me if something tastes strange. 3 stars. I left sad.

Yelp
Our son wanted bbq so we drove away from our house to find a new spot to eat. After driving for a while towards Coconut Creek, we used the Yelp app. We discovered "The Barbecue Boutique". It's located in a shopping center with a preschool and post office. We didn't see any cars parked in front of Barbecue Boutique. We almost left. But when we entered, there was a very friendly and helpful woman at the front counter. She explained that we can order at the front counter and seat ourselves. The restaurant is beautiful decorated. There is a variety of seating ( picnic tables and booths). Once you are seated, when your order is ready, you need to get up and retrieve it (the friendly woman that we met at the front counter helped us carry the food). We ordered the main Jane (two beef patties on a bun) for our son. I ordered a "bowl" with chimi chicken and other toppings. My husband ordered a brisket sandwich. My bowl was delicious and beautiful. However, since our son's burger was very big and he couldn't finish it, we helped him. We were disappointed to find that the burger was uncooked and a colder temperature than the rest of the burger. When you are done eating, you need to bring your plates/bowls/utensils/to a certain area and dispose of it. Overall, I liked my food the most. But our dinner cost $50 and one dinner wasn't cooked well or eaten.

Tyler T.

Yelp
The food and service is amazing. Definitely will be coming back. The brisket sandwich is a must try. Some of the best BBQ you can find in South FL

Yelp
Wonderful people, delicious food, varied menu! We love this place! When I'm in the Plaza and they're grilling, the scent is like a magnet. Even if I'm not hungry yet, I'll go in and get a bowl to take home
google avatar

Yelp
We had a good lunch here. And it was made even better because when we did our Yelp check in, we received a big discount off our entire bill! When you enter, you pass by the coolers/freezers with various meats, drinks, shelves of wine, seasonings, sauces, and even charcoal. That's the "boutique" part. In the next room you order and pay at the cashier. You are given a receipt with a number. They call the number when your food is ready. They have various bowls, bowls of the day, meat by the pound, sandwiches, etc. I got a brisket sandwich, and my husband got a pulled pork sandwich. You have your choice of barbecue sauce -- either their bbq sauce or a carolina mustard sauce. We both got their hogwash sauce which was a red and slightly sweet one. The sandwiches come with French fries. My husband loved his pulled pork sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful. The bun was toasted ("caramelized) so the juices stayed in the meat and not in the bread. I liked my brisket. It was a bit fatty on the edges which is typical, and the meat benefited from a liberal application of the BBQ sauce. They also have a cooler with desserts should you wish something sweet. Items like flan, and cheesecake, et al. The guy at the register was quite nice. He knew about yelp and the discount so there were no problems ordering there. Otherwise, they have a sign saying not to talk to the staff (!!) which I thought was a bit off putting. But I guess it can be distracting or dangerous when the food preparers are slicing meats.... I'm glad we came. They will be quite popular once discovered.
google avatar

Breanna J.

Yelp
I went here for dinner with one of my best buddies and we both got the BBQ Boutique SmashBurger. 11/10!!! This was the best burger I've ever had! The fries were also amazing, super crispy and deliciously seasoned!
google avatar

Pam P.

Yelp
The best barbecue East of the Mississippi. Meaty not fatty and the sides are exceptionally delicious. If you live within an hour from there I can tell you you will be happy you did.

Ricky G.

Yelp
I came here off a few family recommendation and I wasn't impressed but not disappointed. The food was average, not good but not bad. The food was served at room temp which was disappointing. Maybe that's how most BBQ is served but not from my limited experience. They had no sauces to offer at any of the tables. The flavor was mediocre to good. I wouldn't avoid this place but I won't make it a place I must hit while I'm in town. Pricing wasn't bad either and the service is an order, pick up, and seat yourself. No waitstaff to bring you food but this didn't impact my rating any bit, I'm just mentioning it. Drink options non alcoholic were OK but they could have had more or better options.i will say that the coleslaw was the bomb and I loved it. No horseradish or very little but none I could taste and that's how I love it.
google avatar

Martin D.

Yelp
I was driving in heavy traffic on Sawgrass Expressway pulled off cause I had a hankering for some barbecue looked on yelp found this place never would've known it was amazing. The brisket sandwich and a loaded fries were beyond compare. Exceptional.
google avatar

Danielle K.

Yelp
As my husband said it after his first bite, 11 out of 10. Immediately we knew we'd love this place when we saw the options on the menu. I'd had scoped the place out a few months ago when they opened simply because I am always looking for a place to buy quality meat and cool seasonings. I was craving a burger, like I always do but can never find a place that meets my need of just a GOOD burger. I don't need the craft style with aioli or an egg or truffle capt crunch cereal, just a decent good burger. I decided to give this place a shot since when I searched "burger" this place came up and it was later so I wanted something quick. When we entered the place looks new and clean. Beautiful space, brightly lit up with the meat fridges on one side and the restaurant on the other. We looked through some of the meat, seasonings and sauces and headed to the restaurant. I knew exactly what I wanted because the Smash House Burger was perfect and I knew I wanted Mac and Cheese. My husband thought he would panic but quickly picked the All American Bowl which sadly they were out of brisket which is normal considering they were closing within an hour. He went with a build your own bowl instead. We also eyeballed the pie but since we're going on vacation tomorrow, decided to hold off till next time. We sat down at a booth and waited for our food, pretty blown away at the fact that we didn't try the place sooner. When our food arrived it looked amazing, and camera did indeed eat first. Took some photos and jumped right into the Mac and cheese. It's hard to explain, you know how bad mac and cheese is really good but then there's good Mac and cheese? This stuff is both. Iykyk. My burger was absolute perfection and was exactly what I'm always looking for, 2 pattys, bacon, bbq sauce, cheese, it was the complete package. I couldn't finish it all but I tried really hard! We will absolutely be coming back and I'm so happy to report there's a good restaurant in Coconut Creek, now don't let anything bad happen to it so I'm stuck with bs like Cheesecake Factory and Texas Roadhouse forever!

Daniele P.

Yelp
Hello - family platter! This is a double platter that was feeding 10. Amazing food, great service, our family go-to. If you haven't been, run don't walk to The BBQ Boutique

Theresa M.

Yelp
Food is gross. No flavor to the meat. Beans no flavors. Fries are soggy. Had to trash 75.00 of food. Waste of money

Yelp
Everything was amazing! I strongly suggest you build a bowl and get a side of Mac and cheese and don't forget the cornbread.

Yelp
NEW SPOT!!!! This is the place that's known for their BBQ bowls. I'm absolutely positive that we will be coming back here again and again. The food is so fresh. The meats are so tender and juicy. The BBQ sauces are very very tasty. The setup for the restaurant reminds me of a chipotle but for BBQ! The staff here are absolutely fantastic. GO TRY THEM! Warning: they do NOT have sandwiches at this time.

Yelp
I was beat down and bone tired from work on a Friday, it was dinner time and the cupboard was bare. I remembered seeing Facebook posts from friends about how much they enjoyed their meals here so we dragged ourselves out to the car check out the BBQ Boutique. It was a great decision because the night was about to turn around for the better. The BBQ Boutique is a family owned Brazilian BBQ restaurant in the Marketplace at Hillsboro in Coconut Creek. Owner and executive chef, J De Moura, was born in Brazil and came to the U.S. in 2005. His Portuguese background and passion for cooking from a young age inspired him to create a BBQ restaurant that blended Texas fusion and churrasco. He chose to open it in Coconut Creek where he calls home. The business tagline is "Where people come to meat". The Boutique in the name refers to the fact that they are not just a restaurant. They are a butcher shop meat market where they dry age meat for 45 days as well as offer high quality cuts of angus, pork poultry, game, prime, angus, and wagyu grades. They also have a retail store selling hand made knives, wine, personalized aprons, natural wood cutting boards, salt, seasonings, oils, sauces, pasta from Italy, soy sauce from Japan, condiments, and dressings from all over the world. On the restaurant side you order at the counter and they call you up by number when your meal is ready. They specializes in BBQ bowls. You can choose their signature bowls or create your own with a base, protein, and toppings. Meat choices include brisket, pulled pork, picanha, sirloin, smoked kielbasa, and chicken. The All-American bowl features smokehouse macaroni and cheese, smoked brisket, smoked pulled pork, pinto beans, and pickled red onions. The Gaucho bowl includes cilantro lime rice, black beans, picanha, vinaigrette salad, radish potato salad, farofa, and potato sticks. Whether you choose one of their signature bowls or create your own you will be served a tasty, fresh, farm to table bowl. For our meal we chose the Aloha bowl with cilantro lime rice, smoked pulled pork, corn salsa, jack cheese, shredded lettuce, and grilled pineapple with house creme and the Down South bowl with cilantro lime brown rice, pinto beans, adobo chicken, house pico, corn salsa, pickled red onion, shredded lettuce, and jack cheese. The flavor of the bowls were incredible. The lettuce added crunch, the corn added sweetness, and there was the spice of the meat. It was a tasty combination. You didn't even need to add any additional sauce to the meat. I especially loved how healthy it was. A nice touch is they give you real silverware to enjoy your meal with. We also tried a Guarana Antarctica, a delicious Brazilian soda that tasted like an apple ginger-ale. I didn't have room for dessert but they had some great looking cheesecakes in the cooler. They also had craft beer from Funky Budha and my favorite Single in Havana from Barrel of Monks. Come out and support this family owned business from a hometown chef. You will be delighted by the value, flavor, and variety of their food. Not to mention the one of a kind products from around the world. Coconut Creek is lucky to have such a unique business open up. I plan on being a long time customer. Welcome to the neighborhood BBQ Boutique!

Yelp
So I came here on Sunday maybe a hour before closing. I was a bit confused upon walking in because there's a counter that said cashier as soon as you come in but they told me to place an order so it was in a different place. There's a wide open space with tables and benches. I ordered a smash burger for myself and wings for my mom. The young woman at the register was nice and patient. They were out of the sauce my mom wanted for the wings. So I ended up with bbq. My smash burger was bigger than I thought it would be. But it was very tasty something I would definitely get again. The fries that came with also delicious with the perfect crisp. I tried a wing they had a good smoked flavor but were bland. I would definitely come back for the burger though.

Yelp
I got a Mac and cheese bowl with Pulled pork and it was incredible. My only complaint is the portions are not large... they give you one of those cardboard bowls and it's like halfway full for $20. I usually save half my meal for later- this was an eat it all in one sitting and need a snack after typa deal.

Yelp
Wow! Don't let the strip center fool you...this place is awesome! Kind of a unique meat market, sauces sand rubs shop and counter service restaurant, but everything is 5-star when it comes to the food. Tom Jenkins is still my #1 for barbecue, but this may be the first place to rival their side dishes. Wow. Mac-n-cheese that you'll be dreaming about for weeks, unique dishes like Loaded Yucca, and others. My friends bowl with AMAZING CHICKEN and smoky, tender BRISKET with just enough fat was fantastic, filling and bit of a bargain at $15. It's about a 30-40 minute drive, but I will try to get down to the Boutique often!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh I'm definitely coming back!! What a tasty meal!! My favorite is the J chef special. I loved the mix of meats and the salad combo with rice. The staff is so friendly and the coolest part is that they're a family run business!

Millena D.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service! You have to try the BBQ Boutique smash burger and the loaded yuca!

Yelp
I TRIED!!! First, I love supporting local businesses, but I detest feeling ripped off. I just came back from a week in the Carolina Mountains staying in fancy tiny homes, dome homes and eating great BBQ with spectacular sides. So I know BBQ. As a native Floridian and Southerner, I know my sides! Now granted LATIN BBQ is different however it still should have flavor. I went here wanting to LOVE IT because its close to the house and seemed to have a nice ambience. Staff was pleasant. Great, clean spot in an older strip mall. Overall, the meat is superior, but it fails in the prep and excution, thus the end result is disappointing. Its like ovetcooking far, key west shrimp. Criminal! The food overall for $60 is far below the TASTE it.yields. Its like they have great purveyors for meat but lack the right chefs on staff to make a good product epic!!! The mear didnt live up to the TASTE. Calling it " boutique" doesnt make it so! This restaurant has mastered TENDER, but I couldnt taste FLAVOR without the sauce! Seems that they are selling the seasoning but not using it LOL. The pork kids bowl had a big piece of hard fat/end which we threw away, choking hazard. Beans bland. Tiny bit if beans, rice for $10. No flavor. Pollo for 9.99 was better on flavor and size. Got a 2nd kids bowl, sirlion. Tender. No flavor but heat. You realize thar a trained chef knows the difference: heat and flavor are different. Also, you can do a canned bean but knock it up a next level. Season it, slow cook it. Act like La Granja! The beans were just bland. Where the onion, garlic, seasoning, pork ends or pork runoff inside. The two burgers were a complete waste of time. No toppings. $16. The lady at the register was sweet but lost. At BurgerFi, you order a burger, they ask: cooking temp, toppings, etc. The cooks should visit Charm City on Hillsboro. Taste the onion, garlic, veggies seasonings, they understand a burger! Two patties, cheese is not a good burger for us! I feel this place was a butcher turned restaurant without much thought to the competitive and sophisticated taste buds that make a great restaurant. The meat buying is great but everything else falls short. I eat out alot!: I could see this concept do well eceb though its pricey but they must get on the flavor train! For $16 per burger expected so much more. Good meat does NOT give you a pass on crappy fries and sides. If i gotta get home add SAZON, GARLIC, and real sauce then eat, then ..hm?? The kids bowls were so tiny, I had to drive to Pollo, grab another real $10 meal. Purvhased Ropa Vieja. Seasoned. Now as we waited for food, the earlier eat-in tables had tasty looking thinfs: wings came out on a board along with burgers. They were OUT of brisket. Some story like a church bought us out. Hm. Jury is out on that. WHO WOULD LOVE THIS? GO for a date when you want beer and decent food, clean, newer place. Its couples. They have a wing + beer special. Could be a cute night! BUT if you want real good bbq with low marks for ambience try: ROCK & ROLL RIBS. If you want burgers with onions, peppers, seasoning vusit Charm City. You can try BurgerFi for burger heaven still at 16 with the parm fries. I've noticed that these types of Latin BBQ places have popped up on Hillsboro, but most fall flat. I almost put my desire for great Latin on hold until I can get to Miami, Pembroke Pines, or east Broward. This place has great potential but they can't just sell seasoning they gotta USE IT! They cant slap canned beans with plain rice. Nothing lime or cilantro about it. I should TASTE the lime and cilantro not just smell white rice! Oh thet were out of brown, like the brisket. We may go back to try the wings. They looked golden brown but could be bland. I've had great fried chicken where the crust was on point, crispy BUT they forgot the seasoning! Will update. South Florida is a tough market. Restaurabts come and go. Open. Close. This concept needs refinement behind the scenes. Leadership can destroy a great idea. If leaders cant refine, change, take criticism and grow, then they will bleed cash and close. There are other places nailing ribs, burgers, so if you cant nail it. Refine it! Fix it! Hope they do it soon. Its not cheap therefore it better be GREAT. We spent $300 at Gallaghers in Boca about a month ago, howver EVERYTHING was on point. Meats were seadoned to perfection! Step up BBQ BOU!

Yelp
Chicken in quesadilla was so horribly burned. I was afraid to open the container because all I smelt was burned chicken. Sad thing is, this guy that cooked it, saw exactly what he was putting into my food He should have put it right into the garbage can. It was charred BLACK.... Even my dog would not touch it!! Shameful

Yelp
My wife read the reviews for this place and we decided to try it. All four of us (including our kids) were disappointed. First of all, they do not have free refills on anything. How can you own a bbq restaurant and not have free refills on soda, iced tea, etc.? The cups that they give you for water are so small that I had to go back many time for more water. They also don't have lemons. What? Really? We all had bowls expect my wife who had a brisket sandwich. I chose the chicken, pork, pinto beans, rice, lettuce and the buffalo and bbq sauces. My son ordered the bowl with just rice and steak (everything else on the side). His came with everything in it and the steak was marinated in a spicy sauce. He had to exchange it for a bowl with rice and chicken. Mine just flat out did not taste good. The beans were kind of bland and the meats tasted weird. I didn't even finish it and that is highly unusual for me. I just simply had enough of it. The staff was friendly although not so helpful. I would not go back here because there are much better bbq places around this area. I think this is a love it or leave it restaurant. I'm going to leave it.

Yelp
Awful! Awful!Awful! Ribs were nothing special. Bought the full rack special brisket as well. No Flavor. Spent a small fortune, ate next to none of it and gave it to my neighbor. She was very happy. Ima foodie. What a waste all around.

Yelp
The BBQ boutique was a good meal and is definitely an interesting concept. There is a wide variety of options to mix and match, but the standards and bases are solid. The meals are a bit pricey for the portions (large percentage of rice), but pretty good flavor. The staff is nice, but still learning the ins and outs.

Yelp
This is a really unique BBQ store that sells some of their favorites on the side. The interior is well done and very accommodating. I came in at around noon on a Wednesday and I was the only customer in the store. Naturally I got quick service and sat right down to eat. I got the All American bowl with a Coke to drink and my bill was right at $20. The presentation of the bowl was very nice, and consisted of brisket, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, pinto beans and pickled onions. Ate every last bite, it was good. My only request is to have some sauce to be able to use for dine in guests. There's none for your meats. I'm a big sauce guy!

Yelp
***FAMILY business *** This is a new restaurant. It is a family own. It's a mixture of grocery store and dinning. They sell meat and some other items. I love how they blend the two. The space is beautiful. It's small and homey. When I went their was a few families. I did not mind the guests were pleasant. I went to visit this spot because there is a Groupon deal going on right. I am glad I did. The staff was kind and super helpful. It felt like you walked into a close family kitchen. I loved the vibes and energy. I had the following; French fries and brisket side 7/10. I like the French fries. It was a nice crunch. I think next time I will ask for less salt (that is more of a personal preference). I personally would skip the brisket next time. I don't think it added anything to the meal. I tried the 3 tacos. They were having a special. Steak taco 7/10 surprisedly I did not like it that option as much. The chicken taco 8.9/10 it was good. I enjoyed it. The pork taco 10/10 . I was shocked this was my favorite. Just wow! Gaucho bowl 8/10. I had so much to eat so this was to go and I saved it for the next day. The bowl was a decent size. I was able to have left over for a couple days. That was nice. I like the different ingredients. I do not know what the grated yellow piece was but I had to adjust to it. It was different not bad. Mexican soda : 10/10. I saw someone tried slices of steak and I really want to go back and try that. Should you go visit ? Yes! The food is good and the staff is awesome.

Yelp
The attendant for pickup was quite rude. This brisket was like shoe leather, for $20 for 1/2lb, I would expect something better than what was received. The sweet potato waffle fries were good although the oil could have been changed (can't get mad about that because it was right after lunch rush) that explains why my food was cold and dried out as well. So far anybody says oh maybe they were waiting on me, I was there for 15 minutes before my order was ready. So, no excuse for it to be cold.
