The Beach Bar at Hard Rock

Love the place beside the ocean. It was so amazing feeling when you sit with your loved and having drinks, food and talk about your life. Had the experience in wheel ride and enjoyed the view of the city and ocean.

Great location on the Boardwalk across from the Hard Rock Casino and next to the Steel Pier. They have cabanas for rent and direct beach access. They had an issue with being understaffed when we last visited. The bar was full on both sides when we arrived. Soon after a nice man was paying his bill and told us we could take his seats. The only bartender working said she would be right with us. We finally got served almost 30 minutes later when the backup bartender arrived. NOT GOOD!! But he was very apologetic and attentive. The drinks are pricey here. $9 for a beer and $13 for cocktails. They did have live music out near the cabanas, which was entertaining. So I would say it could go either way when visiting here. The view of the beach and pier is nice. They could use some better management with their staff.

Had a wonderful experience w/ mom! Drinks were cold, service was quick and professional, prices weren’t astronomical, and music was good. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall a nice establishment. I think our server was a bit confused. 2 out of 3 orders wrong. But once straightened out, the food was decent. Although it took a long time & made us late for the show:(

We stayed at the hard rock hotel and we were very excited to visit the beach bar. Upon arrival, we ordered a drink and sat down in a cabana. About 10 minutes later a waitress told us that the cabana's were reserved so we thanked her for letting us know and moved to another table to finish our drinks. We walked up to the bar to ask about reserving seats and they pointed us to the opposite side of the bar so we walked over to the other side and Asked about reserving seats. The staff person said we had to reserve through the hard rock casino. We went to the casino and asked about this and they sent us to guest services,guest services said there was a kiosk for this purpose at the beach bar. We went back to the beach bar and there was NO KIOSK. I then asked again and was told by beach bar staff that there were no reservations available over the next five days (5DAYS) and that we had to be there by 8am to reserve seats on a first come, first serve basis. This made absolutely NO sense but we went back the next day and paid for chairs and an umbrella. I asked the staff once more to clarify that once I paid for the chairs that they were ours to use all day, the manager then said we can't guarantee that they will be there if you leave for lunch, pulled his hair and walked away. This was totally confusing, staff were rude to us and other patrons. People asked to rent chairs and they were also told they were sold out but yet others were then were permitted to rent chairs. To further exacerbate the situation, on Tuesday the beach was not accessible from this location and they told us this after we rented chairs again! So all day the lifeguards were blowing thier whistles and chasing people out of the water. The beach and bars shouldn't close down the day after a holiday when there are still people renting your hotel rooms. Save yourself time, frustration, and energy and rent chairs next door at the landshark.

We ordered 3 coronas. The "Eye candy " bartender which we probaby interuped as she was putting on her lipstick and checking her phone. Anyway 3 beers turned into 2 cans poured into 3 cups. So needless to say we got 3/4 of a cup each. The price was $27!!! We are giving 2 stars as your other bartender Doyle was very nice. Oh by the way. Right next door a corona is $6 and you get a whole bottle Never going there again. !!

Horrible, judgemental "security", or whatever they were. They laughed and talked about us tourists behind our backs, giggling like high school mean girls. They had black uniforms. Actually thinking of getting in contact with management to get them fired. No joke. Also, the drinks were too expensive..

We've been coming to AC for years. We used to stay at Harrah's for their indoor pool, but now we stay at Hard Rock for the beach. I recently went out with a couple of friends who play here often -- I believe they're high rollers -- and sometimes we get invited to Icon and enjoy their brunch. I'm usually not a buffet-style food person, but I love it here. They have all my favorites: made-to-order omelets, smoked salmon, crispy bacon -- all the protein I need. And for those who want fruit, salads, cakes, or sweets, you name it -- they probably have it. They also serve good coffee and pretty much any alcoholic drink you'd want. And they always have the same waitress -- she's great.

Food is almost always good...once in a while, I don't care for the selections of hot food, but there is always shrimp cocktail, sandwiches, soup, and salad available no matter what the hot food selections are. We chose to sit at the bar a few nights ago. The man on my right started a conversation with me that could have easily been a dumpster fire...bartenders Tina and Kat were aware and alerted management (Liz and Nicole), who were on top of the situation. Thankfully, the man did not become disrespectful and all was good. I was impressed to know that staff is watching for possible explosive conversations/situations. The hosts, Vinny, Ellen, and others whose name I don't know, are always friendly and accommodating. Even the gentleman who makes omelets at breakfast (sorry I don't know his name) is always friendly. Great staff here.

Jim & Kat make a great team tonight as we ate dinner and had great signature drinks made just right. We never had to ask for service and we always sit at the bar where the work... they're always polite and respectful very friendly, greeting us by our names, John & Janine...we will always return to the Icon Lounge to see our favorite bartenders in the casino! Kudos for hiring such great people!

Liz the general manager was exceptional in every way great customer service. Tina the server was fabulous like a warm cup of coffee and a beautiful disposition thank you icon club!!

Excellent from start to finish. Being seated, served etc. Vinny is a great guy as well as Mamu. Variety of foods, salads and desserts.

I love their food I was visiting my family in New Jersey an When back there when they reopen after the pandemic. They were serving Brunch style. they were serving great protein and food at dinner time and they had the best carving station, The sushi was amazing I was greeted and talked with a great guy his name Julian He was very outgoing kinda shy but definitely the reason why I kept going to Legends but I found out he doesn't work there anymore and he had the best custermer service I have seen an I hope he will come back sometime my whole family said the same thing because they enjoyed his hospitality and how friendly he was.

We come here pretty often, normally for Sunday brunch. They have returned to the self service buffet and moved back into their original lounge location. The servers are great and check in with you often to see if you need drink refills or anything else. The brunch menu pretty much stays the same. The only thing that they no longer had the past few times was their sandwich of the week which I used to enjoy. But they did bring back the omelette station where you go up and make your selections as opposed to ordering the omelette and they would bring it out to you. They have a good amount of pastries to choose from and they're always fresh. Plenty of donuts, muffins, croissants, and miscellaneous pastries. They have self serve stations with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, breakfast potatoes, oatmeal, and grits. They also have a carving station with two meats... usually a beef and a ham. They also have fresh fruit, yogurt, and cold cereals as well as a bread Station to make toast and bagels and they have toppings of cream cheese, butter, smoked salmon, sliced onions, and tomatoes. They also have a small salad section with seasonal mixed greens and some dressings. Finally as I mentioned earlier they have brought the omelette station back. So sometimes there are long lines even though they have 2 stations cooking, but the chefs are very nice and take tips as well. I had a great omelette with cheddar cheese, sausage, onions, and mushrooms. I really prefer the brunch here as opposed to dinner but that's ok as well. It's 10.00 comp money each pp for you and a guest if you' Rock Royalty I really suggest you check them out if you can...

Bar area is the best place to hang out and eat . The bartenders are very good . Tony and Jim are an entertaining duo!

Opened during covid and is doing a great job at social distancing the tables. It is pretty far getting to this lounge but it's definitely worth it for the food if it cost at least $10 a person with the VIP Card. This is usually a buffet style, but from covid, they have a menu of food to order from. The waiter was nice and she got us alcoholic drinks, soda, and tea. We could order anything from the menu and as much as we want. The shrimp is always delicious, and the soup was interesting. Basically a noodle soup with chicken and egg noodles in coconut curry sauce. The lamb and the flounder was delicious with the rice that they gave. Dessert was ice cream (chocolate and vanilla) and assorted pastries like cookies and cakes. Great experience, a slight walk to get to but definitely a good time.

When back there when they reopen after pandemic. They were serving Brunch style. Standard American breakfast style, sausage, eggs, bagel, muffins, French toast. Overall everything is ok. I would like to go back but not during serving breakfast style.

YES!!! YES!!! YES YES YES!!!! This is hands down my favorite VIP lounge in the City of Atlantic! Review 2 of 3 of the VIP lounges I get to partake whilst down in AC giving away my children's college money to the greater good of mankind! For only $10 comp dollars you can have a great evening full of great drinks and a very nice spread of food... First off, the bar area is the nicest and best laid out. The bar is sparkling with a high class look to it. The bar seats are very comfortable and inviting and there's about 5 or 6 high-tops that are just behind the bar. A couple TVs surround the back bar as well as a few others that surround the lounge for your viewing pleasure. They have a tremendous selection of Spirits and Whiskey's for every palate - and unlike some other Clubs, they aren't from a gun. The cocktail servers are fast, friendly and never let you have an empty glass! For the food, they have both hot and cold choices, as well as sushi which is always fresh. The food is on point! They also have a plethora of tables that surround the outer part of the lounge - and if you're lucky, you can get a nice table that over-looks one part of the casino. They also have a Brunch (on weekends and holiday's only I think) that will knock your socks off - and if you're a Bloody Mary fan, they have a Bloody Mary bar chock full of all the Fixin's you can think of! Made to order omelets, breakfast meats, taters, etc.. For only $10 comp dollars as well... The Legend's Lounge in the Hard Rock Casino really knows how to treat their guests. I will be here on Sunday night again, so I'll take some great pics! Very Highly Recommended!!

Update on this review. We've been here quite a few times so I feel I can give an honest review based on all these experiences. Let me start by saying the drinks are fantastic as are the bartenders who serve them. However, we also come here for a bit to eat and the food is nothing short of cafeteria food. Every time it's the same thing. Dry and hard sandwiches, same boring salads and the old standard mashed potatoes. The desserts are just ok. They never mix it up! We prefer the Paramount lounge at Resorts where the buffet may not be as big, but the food is tasty and of good variety.

Closes so early.. it's the hard rock right???? And the bouncers say get out get out ....

Great experience this morning for brunch. Good, quality food and friendly service. Omelette station was delicious. Quality bacon on the buffet line. Pleasant atmosphere. Attentive staff.

Got in here complimentary thanks to my Diamond status. Food was amazing!!! Also the bottomless alcohol is always great! Having a private lounge is always nice and people always enjoy exclusivity. Next time I am in the area will definately try and gain access again!

Was jus ther this weekend , was almost like eating @ legends normally, great service as always n food was good too, glad to be bac to indoor dining
