Where Was ‘Black Mirror’ Season 7 Filmed: The Surprising Real-World Locations Behind Charlie Brooker’s Sci-Fi dystopia

Serving as Phillip’s wooden clapboard home in Eulogy, this house on Tankerton Beach in Whitstable is portrayed as the seaside base of an ageing loner who seems to live in the US, and it’s explicitly noted that you can rent it for a weekend by the sea with a sci‑fi twist, tying the property’s real‑world charm to the show’s speculative tone. - Shaurya Thapa

Hard to find word to express the perfection of The Beacon House. The space both inside and out allowed us to create a memorable family gathering to hold a home spun naming ceremony and celebrate my grandaughter’s 1st Birthday. The house allows such a selection of intimate spaces, which made having high quality connections with family & friends so full of ease. As well as a space to hold us all together. Breathtaking sea views , gorgeous garden, a meadow covered in primroses. Outdoor shower to warm up after a swim. Kitchen with every accessory you will ever need….. The bedroom & bathrooms so thoughtfully decorated too. Plenty of fridge space too ! Books & memorabilia to entertain…. Had we had more time. Both close enough & far enough from Whitstable & all the delights it holds. One million thanks Katrina, we will be back I’m sure to mark future special occasions 🧡

I recently celebrated my birthday at The Beacon House in Whitstable, and I can honestly say it was one of the most special and memorable weekends I’ve ever had. This gorgeous seaside retreat perfectly balances Arts and Crafts charm with warm, personal touches, making it feel both elegant and incredibly welcoming. The carefully placed family heirlooms and thoughtfully chosen books (many of which felt wonderfully relevant to our gathering) made it clear that this isn’t just a rental—it’s a home filled with heart. One of the absolute highlights was the brilliant outdoor deck, which, despite the rather bracing sea winds, became the perfect venue for an impromptu ceilidh—because what’s a bit of cold when you have good music, great company, and a stunning sea view? Adding to the warmth of the experience was the generous welcome hamper our host left for us, filled with delicious goodies—such a thoughtful touch! (Particularly in contrast to a certain other holiday homes, which charges more but leaves you to fend for yourself like a shipwrecked sailor.) And, in keeping with her wonderfully relaxed and hospitable nature, our host wasn’t at all fussy about us leaving a few things to tidy up before we left—again, a welcome contrast to other holiday homes, where I imagine they conduct a forensic investigation post-checkout. The house itself is immaculately presented, incredibly comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Whitstable’s fantastic restaurants, quirky shops, and picturesque harbour. If you’re looking for a holiday home that is stylish, full of character, and hosted with true generosity of spirit, The Beacon House is the place to book. I’m already planning my next visit!

Beautiful, stunning and unique. We recently celebrated our daughter's naming day at the beacon house. It is a stunning location with a beautiful house and spectacular gardens. The service from Katrina was perfect in every way. Nowhere better in England to spend time so close to the beach. Couldn't recommend more highly. Thank you!

Held my daughter's naming ceremony and birthday here. The house is gorgeous. Waking up to the sound of the waves, watching sunset from the garden, enjoying the cosiness of the fire. Wonderful and unforgettable memories.
