"Chef Michael Arlt and owner Dustin Lee opened the Beast & Company in Fort Worth’s Near Southside District with a mission to create a menu of Southern dishes that showcase the roots of those meals. Blending cultures on a plate is no easy task, but Arlt’s easy curiosity and history of working in kitchens from Houston, Chicago, and Portland, Maine, to ones in North Carolina and Florida, prepared him to be up to the task. The dishes they’ve created pay homage to the African, Asian, and Latin American roots of things often thought of as staunchly Southern. Arlt carefully highlights ingredients that make classic meals not quite what is expected, utilizing local specialities and some unusual twists with the aim of normalizing once-familiar favorites such as rabbit and pate — both of which have fallen out of common use but were once staples of Southern fare." - Courtney E. This might be my new favorite place in Fort Worth. Ashley was our waitress and she was so wonderful!! Every detail was thoughtful, from the decor to staff, uniforms, to the presentation of each dish. We loved every single thing that we ordered (see photos). Great wine options and very unique cocktails. Definitely a great addition to town and we will be back to try more!

We truly enjoyed our experience at the Beast and Company! We went with our son that’s a picky eater and he enjoyed all the breads that were brought to the table, as well as the green eggs and ham (deviled eggs), that were brand new to the menu that night. The chicken satay from the bar menu was delicious and the tenderloin was amazing. All of the food was great! The experience was great from the moment we walked in. We had reservations and our table was ready before we even arrived. The hostess greeted us and promptly sat us. The waitstaff was very polite, and informative with everything they brought to the table. We were able to chat with the Executive Chef, the Su Chef, as well as the owners, and I cannot stress enough how welcomed we felt. We will definitely be coming back in when we visit the area!

Review: Really like this place!!! Upon arrival we were greeted and seated promptly. Or server was awesome and presented us with a refreshing Cucumber Shooter to cleanse our palates. Our server checked on us regularly, but not too much. She kept our waters and my wife's soda full. Her personality was very pleasant and genuine. She was knowledgeable on the menu and what she wasn't sure of; she asked the kitchen. We started with two appetizers: the Chilled Asparagus and Rock Shrimp Risotto. Both were great! My wife had the Fillet (a perfect medium) and I chose the Pork Collar; both were outstanding! We also ordered two sides, Brussel Sprouts and Yukon Mashed Potatoes; both were amazing. We finished with the Buttermilk Tart which we highly recommend! Portions were nice and we left comfortably full and with leftovers. We will be back! Note to Owner: Our server Ashley was awesome, and we will be back to sit in her area for sure! Austin cooked a perfect medium fillet for my wife and trust me from experienced, that’s a huge deal she is finnicky with her Fillets since that is the only steak she'll touch. We really enjoyed our time there. Your staff is awesome and very professional. A young Hispanic guy (didn't get his name) brought my Risotto out and suggested I make sure to scoop all the way to the bottom for the best experienced, that was noteworthy! As a Cigar Lounge owner, those little things are what set you apart. That was like my guys offering to show customers the little things, like how to cut and light a stick correctly. I wish I had got his name, he was on point like Ashley! We'll be back for sure! Thanks for a great date night with the wife!

Location of restaurant is great. Love Magnolia. Was greeted and taken care of by the owner Dustin. I ate what he recommended and was very pleased. The pasta was especially unique. Had a pleasant spice to it but not over powering. Love the crawfish incorporation and I particularly enjoyed the pasta noodle. Cocktails were delicious. Id recommend this spot for a date night or a even a solo dinner. Relaxing and satisfying.

The great new place on Magnolia highly recommend it. I love how it's a Fort Worth Chic with a little bit of class. The service there was great. We were immediately seated on a Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. We tried their brand new drink called their church pew, which is basically a gin and tonic with a special simple syrup and cucumber. Their house bread is wonderful. Basically it was a Japanese bun with a couple of wonderful cornbread pieces and their butter was wonderful. For the main course, we split a flounder baked in banana leaves, cooked with bok choy, cabbage, Thai, chili and garlic. It came out whole and was very tender and tasty We also had as a side the crispy Brussel sprouts, they were done very well crispy and with a little Thai sauce and peanuts. Pretty nice combination. I highly recommend this place and I definitely will be going back. Kudos to the team for bringing some wonderful flare to Magnolia, and the fun staff that were there.

Me and my girlfriend came here for a date night and I’m speechless! We ordered the Deviled eggs, Scallops, and the Shrimp Tagliatelle (subbed for crawfish this night 😋)! The flavors in the pasta were crazy I even ordered a second plate because I’m a fatty and couldn’t resist. We ordered 2 desserts and both were everything we needed and more. Our bartender Kaeden made us gorgeous drinks all night! He also wanted us to try his own special recipe espresso martini and I’m glad we did! It’s actually the best espresso martini we’ve ever had! 10/10 would come again from the flavors in the food to the drinks, and of course the stunning ambiance! Such a cute and cozy restaurant!! Please eat here.

Fine dining meets Funkytown. I can’t say enough about this intimate restaurant. The service was impeccable. Wine list was divine (try the Matsu El Picaro and thank me later) and the menu was creative and delicious. The menu varies and is reflective of the season. Plates are meant to be shared so i recommend picking a little something from each category. Reservations recommended.

Jess and I love great chef tasting menus. After looking at the options for this NYE we had to land on the @beastandcompanyftw . So many courses paired with amazing and unique wines. When I say, we were not disappointed, I mean that in the strongest sense of the word! This menu was so unique, so flavorful and executed so well, we are still talking about it days later. The Eggplant Dumpling surrounded by the Beet and Jalapeno Dashi was something of a work of art. The Vermouth Poached Oyster with caviar was the best oyster dish we've had, second only to the French Laundry. The star of the show was hands down the Tagliatelle of Langoustine. We had to stop ourselves from licking the plate to get all the sauce. Lastly, I want to call out the Beef Shank. This was so tender, so melt in your mouth, it was wrapped in Caul to keep it together. It sat on top of a potato anchovy croquette. Yum! Ashley provided outstanding service and we were checked in on regularly by the owner Dustin. We had to send our compliments to chef Michael Arlt as well for such a perfect menu execution. We bookmarked several of the wines to have again in the future and this menu will keep @beastandcompanyftw on the top of our date dinner spots in Fort Worth for a long time.
