L Street Station South Boston Development Will Include Food Hall | Eater Boston

"Located at the former Boston Globe printing plant in Dorchester, demolition is underway for a redevelopment that could include a 100‑seat restaurant, a multi‑story atrium lined with food vendors, a microbrewery and beer garden, and dedicated space for food trucks to ‘dock’ outside; construction may take a year or more, making a 2020 opening likely." - Dana Hatic

Dorchester May Be Getting a Food Hall | Eater Boston

"A former newspaper printing facility on Morrissey Boulevard printed its last papers in June 2017 and is proposed for redevelopment as a hybrid office park and food hall under plans submitted by Nordblom Development to the Boston Planning and Development Agency. The 695,000-square-foot project would create more than 3,000 jobs, with the majority of space allocated to office and tech uses, approximately 10,000 square feet set aside for retail and restaurants, and 15,000 square feet dedicated to other food services. The developers hope to attract a brewpub or restaurant, allow food trucks to “dock” outside, and locate a food hall in the main atrium (the building’s three-story Press Room), although the plans do not yet clarify whether the food hall will resemble market-style destinations or a mall-style food court." - Terrence Doyle
