Groove on the ’60s-Style Menu of Tang Cocktails and Fondue at the Beehive | Eater SF

"Don your pill box hats, and gents, get out those skinny ties, because the Beehive opens next week as a ‘60s‑style bar promising a boozy period‑drama party vibe in the former Range space. The menu leans into era-appropriate bites and highballs — think Swedish meatballs and deviled eggs — while the cocktails include a hound dog (peanut‑washed Bulleit bourbon, a blend of Oloroso vermouth, and caramelized banana) and a gemini (Ketel One vodka, manzanilla, and a house-made “Beehive Tang” powdered beverage); the spirits list is described as long enough to pickle most of Madison Avenue. The project comes from Phil West (of Range) with partners Arnold Eric Wong and Steve Werney; Tristen Philippart de Foy (also of The Treasury) is general manager, and Emilio Salehi and Carlos Yturria oversee the drinks. Executive chef Byron Gee nods to the era with two savory fondues (one with Kaltbach cave‑aged cheese and saison, the other with aged cheddar, piquillo pepper, and mezcal) and a dark chocolate dessert fondue. The space is split into a 13‑seat bar, high‑top tables for 20, a lounge for 50, and a four‑person VIP back bar lounge called the Honeycomb Hideout. Hours will be Mon–Wed 5 p.m.–12 a.m., Thu 5 p.m.–2 a.m., Fri–Sat 3 p.m.–2 a.m., and Sun noon–10 p.m., with the kitchen closing an hour before the bar." - Caleb Pershan

My husband and I visited Centreville yesterday to get a GC and actually shopped in 3 small businesses. The Bee Hive was the quintessential home interior shop with beautiful items and inspiring ideas. Kim, the owner, is engaging and delightful. We will be back to Centerville to see what different seasonal items Kim has artfully chosen and arranged. Thank you for a great experience!

One of the best Home goods stores I've been to. And it's a small business. Kim is a wonderful owner and has the best attitude whenever I come in for the seasonal pieces.

Kim has the most unique and beautiful home decor items, and everything is reasonably priced. I have decorated most of my house with her pictures, mirrors, etc. and always get compliments. Love shopping here!

This store is a gem. The owner is really kind and helpful. She is also the creative behind some of the hand painted furniture. Its a gift shop that is great for mid range hostess gifts. But the real treat is to walk upstairs to find the most random and interesting (Always changing) items from tables, mirrors and chairs that are priced so well, you won't believe it. Definitely worth a trip before heading to an auction or an estate sale. You might find exactly what you need for half the price. I bought a small dresser, mirror and chair for under under $125.

This place is such a GEM 💎 It is off the road tucked away. But when you walk in it is full of quaint little gifts & knicknacks. Wonderful for unique gift ideas. Kim has such a variety selection of products. Sarah was the customer service representative, she helped answer all my questions and was such a delight to talk to. I recommend walking in and checking it out for yourself you will not be disappointed & probably walk away with at least one thing or more. The prices are great and affordable. This weekend April 23rd they are having a furniture sale in the parking lot. Check it out..

I love this store. I typically stop in for hostess presents, Christmas and other holiday specialty items but I have also been very happy with home furnishing purchases. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere of the store is warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend this store!
