Beet Garage is rather cozy-sized establishment & has indoor and outdoor seating. There is stool seating at the bar & a high table towards the back area of the place. Beer Garage has big screen tv's and cool wall decor. Agnes provided fantastic customer service & was kind & attentive. Thanks Agnes! Good music - Tainted Love, Boy GeorgeSongs, Another One Bites The Dust...Classics playing in the background while we munched on our good bar food & sipped on our bar food. We had Chicken Wings smothered in fantastic-tasting.Buffalo Sauce w/ Fries. Good Stuff! Want to return to try some of their Happy Hour Spirits. Happy Hour 4pm - 7pm -includes Sangria, Elderflower Mules, etc. Sounds Fabulous!

Great place with great beer and great raw bar. I had the EBBS Kolsh and wife had UFO white and we shared a dozen blue point oysters! Did I mention everything was great!

This place has a super friendly and chill vibe. I ordered a burger that cost me about 18 bucks, and when it came out — wow, it was huge and really delicious. They’ve also got some solid beers here. The bartender Zendet, is genuinely friendly and awesome. Definitely recommend it to everyone!

Google
Great selection of beers and they had seating in the back which was great for our group. The bartender was great - patient and knowledgeable. The only one minor complaint was that I wished that the AC was better because it was so hot inside.

Google
Small and lively bar in Christopher St. The bartender lady was super friendly and made amazing COCKtail. Apart from drinks, they also serve tapas.

Google
Low key dive bar-ish experience. Great bartender service. A few tables in the back that can seat up to 5 people. Otherwise, bar seating only Food was decent.

Yelp
The Beer Garage is a great time!! It has a great location in west village, so you can stop here for some drinks and hit some restaurants after! I came around happy hour and it was busy, but had a nice vibe! The staff were super attentive and knowledgeable on the beer. They recommended the Radeberger, and it was soooo good and refreshing for a hot summer day!! I also got the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were DELICIOUS!! I think most bars don't really shine for their food, but the Beer Garage offers great options!! It's very laid back in terms of the vibe, so I see this being a great place for watch sporting events or just to catch up with some friends!! I overall had a lovely experience and would totally return :)

Yelp
Beer Garage is a great spot for Happy Hour or just for drinking a good draft beer in a warm, friendly environment. We arrived around 6:15pm on a Thursday and were able to grab 4 seats at the bar. The bartender Zander was doing WORK the night we went as he was the only one working and there was not an empty seat in the house most of the night. Despite him flying solo, service was great and we never had an empty beer. We tried the Mozz Sticks and dang, they were so good. Those are a must order if you're looking for a snack! Lots of great beers on draft, cans of seltzer and a few different wines to choose from. Most of us were drinking the Tiny Juicys which we were loving. The only thing that was not great was the prosecco - it was flat and I would not recommend. Overall, I really enjoyed the Beer Garage and would recommend for a small group.

Yelp
Cute WV neighborhood sports bar with plenty of TVs, good music, solid food, and a variety of beers. The place is narrow and a bit small, but many seats at the bar and 2/3 tables towards the back that can sit 5-6 people. They also have a small patio outside. This is a good place to watch sports and chit chat with friends. It wasn't ever extremely busy, but also never empty... so there was plenty of space and a good level of noise to socialize. (I went on a Friday evening btw) The food portions were solid and everything tasted good. The server was extremely friendly and was attentive towards everyone. I was genuinely impressed given he was by himself and there were always 15+ people.

Yelp
Came here as part of yelp event. Great friendly service. Lots of space and tvs to watch sports. The food was great. I got French fries , wings, and fried pickles. The fried pickles were on the soggier side rather than crispy though. They have a lot of draft beers to choose from.

Yelp
The wings here were phenomenal! And the wedge salad was hitting the spot. Great spot for a quick beer. They've got a pretty good happy hour as well.

Yelp
Great tap list and bar food menu. The bar tenders are friendly and knowledgeable. There is limited table seating but the bar is long. Get there early if you want to grab seats.

Yelp
Great mozz sticks! Panko breaded or something, great crunch. Really tasty guava cider on tap! Place was a bit and dark narrow but there was a nice vibe once inside. Bartender was very nice, though busy taking care of the whole place by himself.

Yelp
Nice casual bar in the Village, they have happy hour from 4-7pm, I tried some local brews and a refreshing cider. They have a 'secret garden' in the back, not too crowded or loud. We did indoor seating as more power outlets were available indoors.

Yelp
It was my first time visiting, but this might just be my favorite bar in the city. The cozy atmosphere has a great sports and 80s vibe, and they serve really good wings. I recommend trying the red wine. Although the space is small, it's perfect for intimate conversations with friends. The servers are friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do. This is definitely a great hangout spot, especially with the Yankees and Mets playing simultaneously. Plus, there's fresh air, and despite its compact layout, the environment is clean and inviting.
google avatar

Yelp
The bartender was really helpful with making a decision he didn't lie the food was really fresh. I like the outdoor area it's kinda cool and secluded. The wings are good and I like the mozzarella sticks.
google avatar

Richelle G.

Yelp
Nice service, sat in the back patio. Got chicken wings and mozzarella sticks. Tooooo good . lol

Yelp
Such a fun bar with a great vibe! The atmosphere is cool and inviting, the food was way better than your average bar fare, and the bartender was friendly, welcoming and had awesome recommendations. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
I stopped by The Beer Garage on a Friday afternoon and absolutely loved it! It has the charm of a dive bar but with a clean, cute, and welcoming vibe. Great music the whole time! The bartender, Zander was super friendly and the beer selection was impressive. My mom and I shared the dirty fries and ended up eating every last bite. So tasty! Also, don't miss the "secret beer garden" out back--it's extremely cute and would be the perfect spot to hang out on a nice day if you're not sitting at the bar. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out!

Yelp
Solid bar in WV with good selection of beer. It's fairly small, but we got lucky when we came and snagged the last couple of seats. Food options looked good though we didn't eat since we had dinner plans afterwards. Prices were pretty in par for the area. Would return!!

Yelp
We stopped in the Beer Garage yesterday and had the BEST time! Claudia behind the bar was engaging and lovely. She kept the conversation going amongst those of us at the bar, and was quick to serve up delicious drinks. She introduced me to my first Limoncello Spritz, and my life will never be the same. We really loved it at the Beer Garage, and will be sure to stop in whenever we're in NYC.

Yelp
MANHATTAN/West Village: What do Brie and Brooke Shields have in common? Not only are they gorgeous, but they recently stopped by The Beer Garage for a beer! The Beer Garage is a sports bar with a small but varied menu and rotating craft beer options with auto-themed decor. They had Brie's Mom's favorite beer on-tap, Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed at the outdoor seating in front of the building or you can walk through to the backyard beer garden. The beer garden is open when the weather is nice.

Yelp
GET THE BURGER! That is a great reason for the increase to 5 stars. Omg... the top 3 best burger I've ever had. I'd literally take a trip back to the city for this burger... and it wasn't even mine... I tried some of my mom's. And thank goodness she offered lol. It was so flavorful and juicy... with just the right amount of bite. Ok, let me back up to how we even fell upon this place.... we planned to have a nice Italian dinner next door at Fiaschetteria Pistoia but were greeted in less than a warm way, (especially on a very cold winter's night)... I get it, you don't accept reservations... you're super cool and hip... and everyone wants to get in your pasta... but, guess what.. there is a much less rude way to deal with potential patrons trying to find somewhere warm to wait for a table. My mom wasn't having it, and immediately wandered into Beer Garage and we were much better for it. This place is SMALL.. There is a bar and then about 2 tables in the back.. We were able to grab one of the two. Service was on point and very friendly, prices were a grab for NYC, and most importantly, the food was good! I mean it is bar food, but good bar food. I enjoyed my fried shrimp... and my sister's wings were tasty. We all enjoyed the parmesan truffle fries. Drinks were decent. Playlist was awesome, the game was on... just a fun and lively spot to hang for a weekend night. BG Famous Burger... I'll be back!

Yelp
Hands down the best bar in West Village!! Food is amazing too. Will be a staple for me. See ya there!

Yelp
Great location with a BACKYARD area. There are so many beers, wines and seltzers to choose from and the service was amazing. Our bartender was super nice! Definitely will return!

Florencia P.

Yelp
The food was really good, obsessed with the appetizers, the service was on point and the ambience was nice, went in for appetizers, drinks and stayed to watch the Bachelor. 10/10 experience

Yelp
The Beer Garage blends laid-back vibes with impressive brews, cocktails and bites. id recommend their Desthiz Hazy IPA, Philly cheese steak and their Garage Wings with mango habanero sauce! They have indoor and outdoor seating options too. Definitely worth going!

Yelp
The man wanted to stop in for a beverage. They were actually not open, but the shop girl let us in anyway. Very nice beer selection.

Yelp
Was exited to visit that spot . Was busy Saturday. Back outside patio with gaming area that's what I need soon to bring my friends . Had jack Daniels burger and zero alcohol beer ( ) Wow to German beer selection Big plus for local beer portfolio . I think that's going to be my one of favorites spots in city .

Yelp
In the warm weather, the front window is open and u sit on a wooden stool looking out to the window, while sipping on beer. Large selection of beers. No liquor, a bit disappointing but its ok for beer lovers. The backyard was tiny and concrete, not too much into it.

La G.

Yelp
Love this bar! So many awesome features from the vibe to the food to the drinks. Great addition to the west village !!

Yelp
Had an excellent time at Beer Garage. Not only was the beer awesome, but so was the food! Beers we ordered: ~ Hofbräu (our favorite of the two) ~ Catskills Devils Path Food we ordered: ~Fried calamari (that plate was piled high!) ~Chicken Caesar salad (As a huge Caesar salad fan, let me tell ya, this one was delicious!! It has so much cheese !!) ~Bacon truffle macaroni and cheese (The true star of the show. It was full of rich flavor and had a magnificent cheese pull!!) ~BG's famous burger with bacon (This was really a solid burger and I loved the toasted bun!) ~Chicken wings with garlic parmesan sauce and Jack Daniels If you're a beer fan and you love Mac and cheese, give Beer Garage a try!

Yelp
Fun bar in West village modeled after an actual car garage. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Tried a variety of things

Yelp
Game sound is extremely hard to find in nyc but this bar has it. They also happen to have a fantastic selection of beer and great food. Fried pickles are delicious ! Also they have a small outdoor space/ seating that leans right into the indoor bar. Reminds me a lot of European bars.
google avatar

Yelp
Super tasty Jack Daniel's burger with fries and a glass of Cabernet was a funderful way to get my Friday night started! Super cool bartender and fun music playing while getting to watch some golf on one of the televisions! Chatted with some regulars and also a fun vibe of people pre-game hanging before going to see a show at theatre across the street!
google avatar

Claudia L.

Yelp
Great place ‍ Amazing service, location, plays sound when watching games- bar food awesome Zander the bartender is The Sh*t!
google avatar

Ashli L.

Yelp
Literally, all you need is the Mac n cheese and a delirium tremens. Chomp chomp chomp.

Ching S.

Yelp
Ordered an appetizer if mozzarella sticks, and they were $15. Normally this wouldn't be an issue except the plate came with 4 mozzarella sticks, and with tax and tip, costs $7 per stick. This is a sports bar, not a Michelin star restaurant where they handmake the mozzarella and bread crumbs by hand and grow the tomatoes on their roof top organic garden. Absurd.

Yelp
We sheltered here during a rainy day! Beer was good and food was hot and delicious! A perfect pick me up to keep us going. Staff was friendly and the location was clean! Thanks!

Yelp
Excellent time. Leila knows the best recommendations. I'm not a beer drinker and within 5 minutes she gave me a recommendation that was on point. The first time I enjoyed and finished a beer. My cousin and I had a great time. The weather was excellent, food was good and great sitting outside.

Bill F.

Yelp
Good eats. Good beer. Good friends. and it all comes together here in the best kept secret in Greenwich Village. A great place to make some memories. Zander is a rockstar bartender that is the glue to this place.
google avatar

Christina V.

Yelp
Chase was excellent. Gave us the stories behind some of the beers we had and was overall a super nice guy. We were early for a show and decided to get a beer here as every restaurant was full and their bars were too. It honestly doesn't look like much, read typical grungy bar but really fit the bill. We ended up ordering a cheeseburger per his recommendation and it was excellent.
google avatar

Amie N.

Yelp
Small, chill and friendly bar tender (when I was there) and a great selection of drinks if you are looking for a place to watch any sporting event. Also ordered food, the Jack Daniels burger was great (and very messy). Be warned though, the pizza is more like a medium to share with others than a personal pan.

Kiara F.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Great service! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Absolutely delicious mac and cheese and the pizza is great too. I love how unique their menu is with a photo next to each item. Love it here, I will definitely be back!
