The best 'pub' food I have ever eaten. Fresh, tasty local produce. Every course was amazing. So glad we found this gem, we will definitely be back. Not the cheapest.....but the quality was outstanding. P.S. had started the asparagus starter when photo was taken

Lunch with friends, a few things took the shine off what could have been a very good lunch.|Two of us selected fish and chips which was well received, the other two selected fish dishes, which though tasty were exceedingly meagre in portion size, not only the meat but vegetables were really a decoration than part of the meal, considering the price not good value.|However the desert, a rice pudding with a fruit compote was generous in proportion size and very tasty.|As an aside the occasion was spoilt by the loud behaviour of some young children, as there are two dining rooms consideration could be given to the smaller one being used for families and the main dining room for everyone else.

Came here for birthday celebrations as we have dogs. Such a great find, staff are fabulous and the food is amazing. Highly recommend, great country walks around also.

Fantastic! We held my Father's 90th birthday party at the bell. Lunch for 20 in the restaurant, preceded by a canapé reception. The food was delicious, the staff exceptional and an excellent selection of wines. The team at The Bell helped us plan this special event over the last 3 months and cannot be faulted. Thank you for maling it so easy for us.

10/10 for food (unbelievably good roast - the Yorkshires, especially) and incredible service - staff were super helpful and friendly, and welcoming of our slightly muddy dogs and muddy boots. Thanks so much for a fabulous sunday afternoon - we will be back, hopefully to join the foraging class!

We stay at this lovely pub, the room was very clean and comfortable only downside the blind doesn't keep out the morning sun. Food was amazing and the service was great 👍 Will stay again

Stayed 2 nights mid week with my partner for a much needed break away. All of the staff are extremely friendly and the service is excellent. Despite my booking not going through from a hotel booking website the team at the Bell welcomed us in for the two nights (thankfully there was a room available).|Our room was located in the main building and was extremely clean and comfortable. All of the toiletries are provided in rooms and are really lovely. |We ate in the restaurant both nights. The food is excellent and the chef changes the menu regularly to fit with local produce from the Ramsbury estate. Breakfast each morning was also excellent, with a choice of pastries, fruit and yoghurt, lovely fresh juices and cooked to order breakfast dishes.|We really could not fault anything and will certainly be returning. It's not often you find such a perfect gem in a beautiful location with amazing food and wonderful staff and service.

We had a wonderful celebratory lunch at The Bell with all of the family. The whole building has been completely refurbished to a very high standard and the ambience contributes to the very warm welcome. The food was extremely well presented and was prepared to a very high standard, my lamb was very tender! All members of the family commented on the high quality of the food, an experience to remember and a typical English pub with a quality restaurant.

A nice old pub in the centre of Ramsbury. Good interior - updated but 'old pine' type furniture so well in keeping. Spacious. My visit was of a Saturday lunchtime and had a great meal - best fish and chips I've had in a pub. Good sized portions. Nice atmosphere. Lots of newspapers to read as well. Recommended.
