The Bell

Stayed here 29.11.25 for 2 nights. 1st night was with a Virgn experiences gift voucher. It was that good we paid for an extra night. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are warm and clean. The restraunt and pub had a good atmosphere and the food was exceptional.

Terrific Sunday roast for a large family gathering. Everyone enjoyed the food and loved the room with the fireplace. The afternoon was made special by the excellent service of our waitress Tati who was quite brilliant with our lively lot!

Went for lunch and very much disappointed. £18 for pizza that is below the quality of oven cooked one from supermarket. Haddock coquettes and risotto were ok but very average. Service is terrible with the person behind the bar not letting me place an order for food and instead made me wait for someone to come outside to take my order. Extremely overpriced and very poor quality. God knows why it’s in the Michelin guide.

I only had a one night stay at The Bell, but I was there for Dinner on the night of my stay and a reception the following day.|The Hotel Room was wonderful, spotless, well equipped and well maintained.|Dinner was really nice|The food served at the Reception was a lovely selection of well prepared snacks|The service from all the staff was superb, nothing was too much trouble and the warmth and friendliness of the hospitality I received was most welcome.

The best night stay at The Bell in Ramsbury. The staff were phenomenal and the food was delicious. Can’t wait for our next stay at The Bell.

Stopped for lunch expecting a simple pub meal. The food was exceptional. Highly recommended.

The best 'pub' food I have ever eaten. Fresh, tasty local produce. Every course was amazing. So glad we found this gem, we will definitely be back. Not the cheapest.....but the quality was outstanding. P.S. had started the asparagus starter when photo was taken

We had a wonderful celebratory lunch at The Bell with all of the family. The whole building has been completely refurbished to a very high standard and the ambience contributes to the very warm welcome. The food was extremely well presented and was prepared to a very high standard, my lamb was very tender! All members of the family commented on the high quality of the food, an experience to remember and a typical English pub with a quality restaurant.

A nice old pub in the centre of Ramsbury. Good interior - updated but 'old pine' type furniture so well in keeping. Spacious. My visit was of a Saturday lunchtime and had a great meal - best fish and chips I've had in a pub. Good sized portions. Nice atmosphere. Lots of newspapers to read as well. Recommended.
