The Belvedere Inn

Typically it’s difficult for a restaurant to pull everything off perfectly.. from the moment you enter the building to the time you leave.. but The Belvie Inn did just that! The restaurant is beautiful, the service was excellent, our dishes were always cleared promptly & the courses were perfectly spaced that we didn’t feel rushed at any point or that we were waiting. Also- most importantly the food was outstanding. We will definitely return many times! Perfect spot for your romantic nights out!

A great fine dining experience. The server Lindsay was very friendly and great. The ambience and atmosphere was very nice. The food was awesome, especially the Steak special which was seasoned perfectly. The drinks were perfect and strong.

Delicious meal, very nice service, overall was a lovely experience for my husband’s birthday meal. Loved the personalized welcome from the staff! Highly recommend • scallop entree, duck breast entree, crème brulee Live music was just getting started as we were leaving and we were really happy it wasn’t throughout our meal as it was so loud we couldn’t hear one another! Other tables around us were very obviously having the same frustration - so we felt blessed to have an early reservation to enjoy our meal with wonderful conversation 🥰

The Belvedere Inn is the perfect place for winter celebrations! The rooftop greenhouse was perfect for a chilly night out and the snow falling around us could not have topped the birthday celebrations off more! The duck breast chef special was absolutely perfect, raspberry lemon drop drink delicious, the only recommendation for the restaurant we would add is perhaps add a steak to the menu as we missed that option.

My wife and I were there this past Saturday to celebrate our 28th Anniversary. So happy we decided on this place. The place was beautiful, very comfortable, food was amazing and the staff was AWESOME! They even placed a plaque on the table with our names wishing us a Happy Anniversary. They had live jazz music that was just right, not too loud. We really enjoyed our time there and will make that a normal stop when we are in Lancaster.

What a great experience! The Belvedere Inn provided us with a perfect evening, from the ambiance to the delicious food. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Every dish on the menu is carefully prepared, and the presentation is outstanding. I especially loved the outdoor terrace area; it offers a wonderful atmosphere for a delightful meal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Lancaster!

Celebrated my 46th birthday here last night with my wife for dinner. From start to finish, the food and service was amazing. There are two levels in this restaurant, the first floor which is where we were seated for our dinner, and upstairs. Both levels are extremely small, but very quaint and laid out comfortably. If you are wondering how small the restaurant was, I would compare it to Rao's in NYC if you have ever been there in terms of size, maybe a tad bigger. There was no wait when we arrived, and we arrived promptly for our 5:30PM reservation. I ordered the half steamed mussels for my appetizer and was a good portion for a half a size. I think the full size probably could have been a meal on its own. The broth for the mussels was delicious and flavorful. One thing I would say if the restaurant reads this review, is to include some sort of bread with the mussels so a person (like me) can do some dipping in the broth. That was the only thing that was missing from this appetizer to give it a flawless serving. Even the presentation that it came in was different to see as you can see from the pics I provided. For dinner, I had the Short Rib and my wife had the Chicken Piccata. Both were equally amazing. My short rib peeled away with the slight pull of the fork. What made my dish so good in my opinion was the grits. The grits, really elevated the flavor pallet of this dish and complimented the short rib so well. The portion was large but felt light at the same time. I honestly could have eaten another portion, that is how good it was. For dessert, we had the Tropical Cheesecake. The addition of the diced up pineapples and mango gelee with the touch of pineapple crumb, made this cheesecake to die for. It was not heavy like a traditional cheesecake you would come across. It was light, vibrant, and the perfect choice to the end of a great dinner. Coming from N.Y., I believe I have a good personal opinion on good food, having eaten at some of the top restaurants in the country, and The Belvedere Inn was definitely a surprise in terms of atmosphere, service, and food quality. I would definitely would not hesitate to dine here again. Thanks for making my 46th a great night.

Grabbed drinks at the bar with the wifey for our day-late Valentines date. The lady got a delicious Espresso Martini and I got an Old Fashioned with Woodford Reserve and a pour of High West Bourbon. The bar tender did a great job on the Old Fashioned and the service overall was great.
