The Better Box (Food Truck)

I had high expectations for this food truck. I was told by multiple people to try this truck. I first visited their old location off 1960 and was told they had moved. I was given the new address and decided to check it out. When I arrived, I noticed they were running a special on the loaded fries, so I tried both the Philly and the Cajun. Unfortunately, I didn’t care for either. In my opinion, the Philly was much better than the Cajun. I think the orange sauce on the Cajun was the main issue for me—it just threw the flavor off. On the positive side, I did appreciate that they use real crab meat and nice-sized shrimp. The Philly was actually pretty decent. Next time, I’d like to try their egg roll and a sandwich. Overall, while this visit wasn’t my favorite, I would return to explore more of their menu.

The chef was super cool and the food was yummy! I got the loaded Cajun crab fries and a firecracker salmon egg roll. Both were delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to get the egg roll again as well as to try the others!

This place os amazing. Amazing food, stellar service, and a great ambiance! The food was simply fantastic . I got the Cajun seafood fries as well as the loaded seafood Philly and both were phenomenal! I also loved how their was seating available inside the brewery and outside the brewery on the patio. Tamekah is always an amazing host when you go and has great recommendations on her menu based on what your’re craving! I highly recommend you this place out.

Not gonna lie I was definitely nervous trying this food truck. You guys know all the viral videos typically are hype but those loaded seafood fries were absolutely amazing using real seafood for the price and the amount that you get. I literally called my brother and ordered him a plate while I was still eating mine in the car. Definitely gonna come back and try the rest of the menu

Went today with some family members! Worth every penny! Been craving a cheesteak for so long and this place DEFINITELY checked off every box!

Visited today for the salmon egg rolls and they were out so we chose the Philly instead. They were good and had plenty of steak I just would have preferred the egg roll wrap over the spring roll. The amount of food you get for the price is great! We tried the seafood fried and the fries, crawfish and crab were great. Our cook was really heavy handed on the sauce and it also had a sweet flavor that took away from the taste of the seafood. I would recommend getting the sauce on the side especially if you’re from the south and like more or the Cajun/remoulade style sauce. Worth the try!

First I wanna say food is 🔥. Tamekah is the sweetest, customer service awesome! And she now has brunch on the weekends! When I tell you the food is good! You won't be disappointed! Lastly the brewery has some good beers. Stacey the beertender😊is awesome and so nice! If your not sure what to get she will give you a sample to help you decide. You can't go wrong with good food & beer! Give them a try I promise you won't be disappointed.

The food is amazing! My favorite is the loaded Shrimp and Crab fries❤️ and the sweet potato cheese cake Amazing! Best part is I can enjoy my food inside at Elder Son Brewery and grab a great craft beer or wine. 10/10!!!
