We were in the area for a wedding of some dear friends and were hanging out on a lovely weekend evening when we came across this joint. We were looking for some place to have some drinks and eat. As some of the other reviewers stated, we weren't sure if The Beverly was open, but we tried the door, it opened and we walked in to discover a lovely empty place. As the night went on, the place did fill up
The establishment itself was cute and cozy, with dim lighting. The bar had these cool coasters that I just fell in love with. We sat at the bar and a lovely gentleman came over to take care of us. He was so attentive and lovely, but it turns out he was not the bartender, just a helper. The real bartender was behind the bar but never took care of us. As far as we were concerned, the helper was the bartender and we tipped him well. He was very pleasant and professional and attentive....loved him.
The overall feel was chill and laid back, but that could be because there were not a lot of people there when we first got there. We ordered food and drink. I don't do cocktails but my friends did and they looked lovely. Some of the concoctions were really on the pricy side, like three figures price range. The food was really good I have to say, I would definitely come back if in town for a meal. The Little Devils (three hardboiled deviled eggs, bacon, chives, dusted
with paprika) were good, loved that they were mustard based and not mayo based deviled eggs. But the wraps and tacos were very good.
Not sure about parking as we were at the Valley Ho and walked down. But there was empty spaces on the street, just not sure if there are parking restrictions. Pretty cool place and I would come back here again.
