Where To Go On A Double Date With A Couple You Don’t Like - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Even the couple that constantly cuts each other off and belittles each other “in jest” can agree on delicious fish. This Old City restaurant offers a $200 sushi omakase, and most importantly, the chef does most of the talking at the counter, so you don’t have to play referee. The menu includes things like delicious frothy, truffle-topped egg custard and expertly sliced Australian lobster topped with dry soy sauce and lemon. Between the friendly service and food good enough to be the night's main focus, it’s pretty hard to be negative here. But just in case, you can ask the chef to keep the torch on the other side of the counter. Get access to exclusive reservations at this spot with Chase Sapphire Reserve. New cardmembers get $300 in annual dining statement credits." - candis mclean

How long does it take to make scrambled eggs? It's been over an hour and my order was still not ready. I door dashed some eggs and I have already been through 3 door dashers, because they were sitting there for so long. The food was mediocre at best! (That’s me being nice) The strawberry jam had no flavor.

I feel so lucky to work next door to this diner since they have moved from the airport! The food is consistently good, they offer creative menu items that you don't typically see at a breakfast joint, and the portions are very generous for the price. My server was so kind & the owner of the restaurant puts her whole heart into this restaurant. Definitely recommend

If u r looking for good food at a good price and don’t mind being off the beaten path, u will love this place! We went on a Sunday at 11 am and the place filled to about 3/4 full while we were there. Service was a tad slow BUT the food was served hot, always a PLUS 🤣! I had the feta scramble with fresh fruit. They don’t butter the toast, u do that your self so can control how much butter u put on - BUT I like my butter melted so by the time u butter it up it will be too cold to melt the butter. If melted butter is not an issue for u, u won’t mind. The chicken sandwich was huge enough to take half home! We got the Spicy Thai slaw - it has an after burn 🔥 so watch out for that if spicy isn’t your thing! I ordered the hot fresh donuts to go - they smell great but have not had a bite yet!

When we discovered this was inside the Ogden airport, we almost found somewhere else. But glad we ventured inside. Lots of seating, good food and the service was friendly. There weren’t any flights so waiting wasn’t an issue.

Google
What a fun find for us. We were not expecting much at all. However the food was yummy, our accent strong speaking waitress was a kick in the pants (we liked her right away). The entire place is sooooooooo cute. Their dishes they serve you on are adorable and it just felt like a cozy home with a great view of the planes coming and going. The manager who high 5'd me made my experience even better. Open on Sundays wooooooot. Ohhhhhhhhhh the biggest thing, they passed the water test (I'm fussy about the taste of water). We highly recommend eating here.

Google
Road work to the restaurant was an inconvenience, but this little gem tucked away by the ogden airport was well worth the inconvenience. The food was delicious, and everything tasted as though it was made fresh. I enjoyed the pesto paste in my sandwich. My French fries were hot and very crispy, which I appreciated. My husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere, it was fun to watch the airplane drive by on the taxiway. They have an eclipse brunch coming up this weekend and a Halloween event on Oct21 at 5pm. Will be coming back to explore the menu.

Google
The atmosphere was nice and pleasant, the food was good and filling! But the service is where you'll run into your issues. The servers seem under staffed because she was walking away faster than I could ask for anything. Side note - they should place condiments and pitchers of water on the tables with lager groups. There was only one water refill and she didn't come around enough for us if we needed anything. Overall, i probably won't be going back.

Google
We came across this place when we were looking for a new place to eat. It was a little confusing because when you pull in there are several buildings. The one that looks like a restaurant is actually the flight school. The restaurant is in the building with the offices. There are some small signs guiding you but no big signs on the building. The restaurant has a great view of the runway but we didn't see any planes take off or land while we were there. The menu has a lot of unique dishes like Toad in a hole bagel and french toast sandwich. It is not the normal diner food, so the prices are a little higher too. The food and service was great and it was overall a good experience. I'm sure we will be coming back.

Yelp
Stopped by for a concert and this spot was a nice surprise! It reminds me of brunch in a bigger city and they have plants inside with cute farm house decor vibes. It's such a cute spot The food is fresh and I got two breads with my soup. The ladies were super nice. Thank you! She was very attentive and it was so warm outside. Definitely needed that ice water

Yelp
I don't appreciate listening to employees snipe at each other. Especially when the food is terrible. I'm all for a divey little joint, and the airport location can be convenient, but this was a little over the top and not in a good way .

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Couldn't find the place no clear signage to be able to even try it out Please add clear signs so my sisters and I can come and try the food

Yelp
Always incredible! These ladies make one of the best breakfasts in the state and their lunch is incredible too.

Yelp
Wanted to grab some quick breakfast after a show in Ogden. This place came up and was off the beaten path so decided to go for it. It's at the Ogden airport. Kinda odd spot but made it easy to get in and out on a Saturday morning. I had an everything bagel with cream cheese and especially appreciated the fresh fruit that I ordered as a side. The service was quick and efficient. It's small but wasn't busy. I would love to go back and try some other things.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a unique place to have breakfast. There are big windows here to watch the planes taking off and landing. Quaint and quiet. Customer service is great. Food is very good. We got a bagel sandwich and asparagus feta tomato scramble. Herb egg sandwich. And the eggplant sandwich with Thai salad. Good place for vegetarians.
google avatar

Kim S.

Yelp
Service was good. Menu has a good variety of food. I thought it was yummy. It's really clean. Wasn't busy for Brunch. I'd definitely eat here if I was flying out of the Ogden airport.

Yelp
Have been here several times with friends. Often run out of items from the menu, items incorrect from my order and the food is pretty bland.

Yelp
A hidden gem cafe that offers a wonderful breakfast and lunch inside the Ogden, Utah airport. The owner is on site much of the time, and she and all staff members go out of their way to insure that the customer is happy. The menu is diverse, well priced, freshly made, simply delicious. The bonus - both children and adults have a front row view to see airplanes landing and taking off. Try this restaurant, it is wonderful, and I travel a lot, and do not post reviews unless I am 100% satisfied. Keep doing what You All are doing, it is appreciated! Jana Mar

Yelp
We met our Daughter and Grandchildren for breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The food was good, staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife is gluten free and they were able to accommodate her dietary requirements. They are located inside the Ogden Airport terminal building. It was snowy and overcast when we were there, but on a nice day it would be fun to watch the departures and arrivals of the aircraft that operate there. It was clean and comfortable with a variety of tables sizes for large to small groups. We'll be going back.

Yelp
This has been a top restaurant destination for me on my frequent trips to Ogden. I went Saturday looking forward to the chicken salad sandwich and found the location just off 25th St closed. I was sad, thought it another pandemic victim. However, today I realized the location had changed to the Ogden airport. Thought, ok, let's.check it out... Wow, the new location is fab! Right inside the darling vintage terminal. Everything was bright, clean, and festive with the same amazing food. Karen, the owner, offers great customer service, and my granddaughter loved both the ability to watch airplanes taking off AND the kid-friendly play structure just outside. I loved that there was no competition for parking like at 25th St. check it out, I can't wait for my next Ogden trip to Bickering Sisters!!! Thanks, Karen!

Yelp
Wish all airport restaurants were like this!!!! Spend too much time in both big and tiny airports, and this is simply one of the best. Food and service top notch. Delicious (and quick) breakfast for me and my daughter loved her lunch. Runway and plane view from every table. Very accommodating for travelers with short time frames. Wish there were more flights out of this airport - can't wait to come back.

Yelp
This is the second time that I ate at the Bickering Sisters. It was great! I am so excited there is a restaurant in the Ogden terminal again. They have lots of breakfast/brunch items on their menu. I tried one of the specials the Feta Scramble. It was $9.95. It was great. It came with scrambled eggs, asparagus, feta cheese, with fruit and toast on the side! The service is great you can order to go, or dine in! Check this place out!

Yelp
The Bickering Sisters was just okay. We stopped in for breakfast and coffee during the farmers market just to take a break from the rain. We dined in and ordered a breakfast burrito with chicken sausage and the herb and egg sandwich with bacon. Our coffee and waters came quickly but the staff didn't come back to refill either. When the food arrived, the burrito was huge and the sandwich looks good. As we began to dig into a food, I quickly found out the burrito could not hold up on its own, so fork and knife it was, and it didn't have much of a flavor. The sandwich on the other hand was over powering in an herb flavor and the amount of bacon for the additional $3.95 was minuscule. The atmosphere was also very interesting. Every table inside was taken and there wasn't music playing, so conversations would drift in and out, get loud or awkwardly quiet. The table next to us was eaves dropping and staring hard at us and it was a little weird. We should have pushed our tables further apart when we initially separated them. Overall, not sure we'd eat here again especially after spending $40 on their food. Just wasn't for us.

Yelp
Coming from California we really didn't know where to eat. So in searching on Yelp we found this gem. Now granted it's kind of in an obscure location, ( next to Ogden Hinckley airport),however it was worth the drive. In fact it makes it more unique where it is. Food was homemade (by co-owner Karen) and excellent. Whenever we're in Utah it's our go to
google avatar

Gina Marie A.

Yelp
The food was ok, they had run out of a lot of things, the best part, was the service!
google avatar

RD C.

Yelp
Excellent food, good service and its at a small municipal airport where you can watch planes land and take off. I love eating here! I love the fresh food, the staff and it's worth the money too!

Tiffani B.

Yelp
I went here for the first time when it was on 25th street. I actually thought they closed for good until I found them again on Yelp. Not a great experience the first time, food was half the portion in these photos, quality was ok and the waiter was an experience I'll never forget. Decided to give it another try at the new location in the Ogden airport and I'm so happy I did. The food was great, coffee was good, the atmosphere was calm and more importantly the waiter who is a younger man was great! Very kind, professional and attended to all his tables often. Well worth a try if you have never been or just haven't been to their new location.
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a great place. Food is fresh and the potato soup was delicious! My friend had a Turkey sandwich and soup, she agreed. Will be going back!!
google avatar

Alison O.

Yelp
Delicious food and excellent service!! It was hidden in the airport so it was difficult to find, they were understaffed only one sweet waitress and one cook but the waiter was very attentive to the 4-5 tables of customers, constantly making sure we had water and kept us updated on the food, it was a quiet, simple cafe and a cool view of the airport! Food was sooo good with fresh ingredients
google avatar

Nathan E.

Yelp
Good food, great service. Their menu is different and a nice change of pace. I love the fresh fruit option with my lunch.
google avatar

Randy L.

Yelp
Is a little hard to find, it is in the Ogden Airport. The Food was very good, even with the service being a little slow. The kindness of the staff made up for them being busy that morning
google avatar

Erin L.

Yelp
Their egg salad sandwich is delicious. It's always my go to for lunch. I've even ordered it from door dash when I can't physically get to them.

Craig W.

Yelp
What a great meal in a very suspect location.. located at the old terminal at the Ogden Airport. Kind of nostalgic of sorts, The omelets were over the top, the coffee was outstanding. The fresh fruit gave you the feeling of eat fresh fruits off the vine. The staff was very sweet and attentive! A must stop for breakfast
google avatar

Kari L.

Yelp
Service. Menu, and a great view! Watch the planes take off and land. A little difficult to find but food and atmosphere never disappoint.

Yelp
Saturday breakfast (in the winter) with a friend. We were so glad we chose The Bickering Sisters. Small restaurant was almost full. Electic group of diners. Drink order was taken quickly, and we opted for the Asparagus, Feta & Tomato scramble, and the Orange Custard Dipped French Toast, add spicy Italian sausage. When we asked for an extra plate to share our meals we were obliged. Every bit of our breakfast, fruit and toast included, was consumed. Perfect portions for the price. Loved the fresh jams. Definitely going to try for a brunch/lunch in the future.

Yelp
This is a nice little place for a Sunday brunch. It is really small but we love the charm of it. We were quickly seated with nearly a full restaurant. The staff were all very attentive and really cared that our needs were met. There were no problems with speed of service or the time to get our food. I ordered the turkey sandwich and my wife ordered the breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was really big and came with guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. The burrito could almost be split between two people. We both enjoyed it. I really loved the honey mustard sauce on my turkey it paired well with the sliced Granny Smith apples and oven roasted turkey. I also got a spring salad and it was very fresh. After we had ordered we decided to also tack on the orange custard French toast. The French toast was our favorite item on the menu. It was served on 21 grain bread and had just a hint of Orange which was surprisingly really good on french toast. We also thought the items that came out were served in cool little dishes. The cream for my coffee had its own mini milk can. The syrup had its own small container as well. All unique items you don't normally see at other restaurants. These were all a nice touch. We will definitely be trying other items on this menu in the future. This is a place where you could meet with friends or your significant other and enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch. I don't think children would appreciate the quality of food here so leave them home.

Yelp
We picked this spot because it was right by our hotel. Some of the reviews complained about the service, but I didn't have any issues with it. It's definitely a casual vibe, and the waitstaff are young and prone to checking their phones, but I don't expect Michelin star service at a sidewalk cafe in Ogden Utah. We were told to choose a seat and were offered menus and drink orders within five minutes. Our food came promptly, and the waitress checked on us several times. I did think it was odd that they don't show you the check on the tablet, just tell you how much you owe before swiping the card and then offering you the tablet for adding a tip. Whatever, it wasn't a deal breaker for me. While the service was standard cafe level, the food was exceptional, especially for the price. The asparagus, tomato, and feta egg scramble was perfect with generous portions. The fruit on the side contained nary a melon chunk and was actually something I wanted to eat (strawberries, bananas, and blueberries). I added bacon to my plate. It was woven, as in like a basket, and was absolutely perfect. My husband got the French toast sandwich and was just as happy with his choice. We will eat here again and prefer Bickering Sisters to the other breakfast joint on the block, Pig in a Jelly Jar. If we grab lunch in the future, I'll update this review.

Yelp
Gluten Free for $1 surcharge only, for 2 pcs toast at breakfast, home made jam and plates came with fresh blues, straws and black berries a super change up from the cantaloupe grapes honeydew norm. No grease in sight, a blessing after 13 days on the road :) !! Table order: $8 avo bagel, $8.75 feta cherry t's asparagus, $7.50 spinach feta, and $7.75 bacon cheddar 3 egg scrambles -- all plates emptied at this scratch kitchen. Surrounds: smaller diner in attorney bldg, off the main historic Ogden downtown. Restroom access outside to elevator, 2nd floor Verdict: Guilty of fresh ingredients, great prices, quality experience, feeling full not stuffed, and Free coffee with breakfast entree!

Jn H.

Yelp
We went in for Sunday brunch. This is located inside the Ogden Airport terminal. Good food, friendly service.
google avatar

Cody S.

Yelp
It was okay food. Sandwich came to me soggy, hardly any flavor on their signature BLT. Seems to always be low on Blueberry Lemonade every time I go. Service was good and it was a clean and historic building.
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
Stopped in for late breakfast over the weekend. Not overly busy since it was late, but service was slow after being seated by a "hostess", but my self imposed 7 minute wait rule, then leave, was not met as I was finally recognized. Service seemed uncoordinated. My breakfast was brought out minus the added sausage. Eggs were very good as was the fresh fruit. Although not the fault of the restaurant, but annoying none the less, a senior couple decided to FaceTime with full volume and a 4 year old kid decided to have a full blast, never ending temper tantrum.
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
Honestly I think there's a lot of room for easy improvement here, but I just was less than impressed on my most recent visit here. Our overall service was poor, and my food could have used more to it. i got the pesto chicken sandwich, and while the flavors of the chicken and pesto were on point, the sandwich was dry and could have used Mayo or something to pull it together. My sisters got the turkey bacon bleu, and felt the same way. They also got the tomato soup and said it tasted canned and under seasoned. The staff was never rude, but like other reviewers noted, they kinda acted like they'd rather be somewhere else. (Which hey, I get it, I've worked in the food industry! Not always fun!) But when it effects forgetting orders and making us wait long periods of time to get refills or even our checks....when they were not overly busy...Idk. Something needs to be adjusted in training. I also ordered a burrito to go and the cook forgot about my order and was extremely rude to the waitress/hostess who inquired about it. Which definitely made me wonder if the disconnect was between the servers and kitchen staff. I think if the owners trained their staff better and maybe added a little bit more sauce to their sandwiches, I'd give this place 5 stars. But my experience was just so meh today and I left feeling overcharged for a dry sandwich and a poor customer service experience that I can only give two stars at this time.
google avatar

Tad T.

Yelp
I had a delicious grilled cheese and I loved it. It's a great cafe place open 8am-230pm we sat outside on a sunny fall day. Also had the Turkey Caesar Sandwich & BLT. Very friendly service. (Btw it's not wheelchair accessible)
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
The food was delicious and it was so fun to watch the planes take off from the big picture window. There was a long wait for our order; the server brought out complimentary orange blueberry bread while we waited. I would definitely come back but would make sure to do so when I'm not in a time crunch.
google avatar

James H.

Yelp
I'm sure the food is great but it's impossible to order. They don't have a working phone number listed online. I live like a mile away so it would be stupid to pay DoorDash for a delivery. And to order a carry out online requires you to register which I don't feel like wasting my time doing. So you sisters should really bicker about having a really poor business model.
google avatar

Gabby P.

Yelp
Not the greatest service. It was our first time so we didn't know if we sat ourselves or wait to be seated. They finally sat us down. Before we even sat down the waiter asked what we wanted to drink & we didn't know what there was to drink, she rolled her eyes when we asked what there was so drink. We just decided to get water because she seemed irritated that we asked. The selection was not that large mostly sandwiches. I got the 2 eggs over & my friend the custard French toast, my meal came with toast & when I saw my friends French toast it looked exactly like my plain toast. Plating could've also been better thru stacked my eggs and bacon under my toast. The fruits we got was the most satisfying thing on the our plates. My friend said there was not taste to the French toast. While waiting for our food we were so disgusted by the amount of flies that kept swarming our table and the whole restaurant. It was hard not to avoid them & have a conversation without us trying to swat them away. We at one point wanted to do take out instead because it was making us uncomfortable. But our food came out we just decided to quickly eat our food and head out. Like the other reviews the price, portions, & quality of food did not add up.
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
I don't know if it's the name that wore of on the staff but what a terrible experience. Disgustingly gross. We are from out of town and found this place on yelp. We walk in excited to have breakfast, we seat ourselves and the Angry Asian girl with too much make up on (sorry didn't catch her name) makes her way over and asked in our general direction, "what do you want to drink?" First timers here, we asked "do you have an fresh juices?!" She snidely responds, "we don't have fresh juices!!! Everything is from a bottle!!!" Ummm, absolutely not. We grabbed all our belonging and left. Terrible service, bad energy. No, thank you. This all happened 10 minutes ago. Now we are currently down the street having a delicious breakfast over at Pig & a Jelly Jar. Yum! So glad I didn't waste my hard earned money over there.

Yelp
On our road trip we were looking for a place that had gf options , so we stopped here it's IN the airport itself - so the ambience was not great, but the food was . I got a chicken salad sandwich and a peanut Thai slaw . Both were really good and reasonably priced . It's fairly far off the freeway, but it was nice to have a gf option .
google avatar

Yelp
The food was great. The employees were very nice. Be sure to check in to make sure they got your order, if it was placed online.

Yelp
We were able to sit at a table immediately on a Farmer's Market Saturday late morning (around 11AM), but after ordering we had to wait almost an hour for our food. I didn't expect fast service on a busy Saturday, but this was very slow... beyond slow. So slow in fact, that a couple other patrons almost left because they were done waiting. You could tell our waitress was frazzled and felt bad over it. And you could hear the cooks in the back saying they were moving as fast as they could. However, then the food showed up... which didn't wow me at all. I can easily replicate the breakfast at home without a lot of effort. I got the egg in the hole breakfast bagel and added apple sausage. It was okay, but definitely not worth what I paid for it and definitely not worth waiting an hour for. My boyfriends scramble was also okay, but he wasn't overly impressed either. This place does offer up some healthy, traditional food. But I don't see myself returning any time soon. 2.5 stars.

Yelp
This is my new go-to breakfast spot when I'm working up in Layton area. Seriously worth the Ogden extra drive. I ordered the herby egg sando & added bacon/cheddar. Their ingredients are fresh. Nothing is over the top or slathered with too much sauce and salt. It's a flawless I-forgot-to-make-breakfast-but-want-to-feel-at-home kind of place. You must go. I am a happily fed little worker today and Bickering Sisters has earned my business with their tasty food.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast and we were happy to find that there wasn't much of a wait. This is a cute little place with only 5 tables. There were 4 people working but none seemed to be doing much. Someone took our drink order and never came back. About 10 minutes later someone came to take our order and retook our drink order. About 10 -15 minutes later we got our drinks (waters and iced T). The waitress was not very friendly and seemed more annoyed that she had to be working. When our food finally arrived we didn't have utensils so we grabbed some from a nearby bin. The waitress saw and grabbed it saying we use plastic. Ok, so maybe give us the plastic so we can eat. For the most part the food was pretty good. Most of our group had egg sandwiches of different types and they enjoyed them. The fresh fruit was delicious. I had a grilled cheese and tomato soup. The soup was good the grilled cheese had 3 or 4 pieces of cheese that weren't melted at all. For those of you who are super serious about covid rules this place is for you. The staff had masks and gloves and stand across the room to take orders. They use disposable plastic ware and cups. Overall, the Bickering sisters might be the perfect name since it seems everyone working was miserable. The food was ok but unfortunately we won't be back.

Yelp
Yummy lunch at The Bickering Sisters in Ogden today! It was a perfect day to sit at their darling patio. I had the Pesto Chicken Sandwich and my friend had the Bickering Chicken Salad Sandwich. I LOVED the pesto, I'll take a gallon of that please! The torta my sandwich was on was pretty hard (I was actually nervous I would break a tooth it was so hard!) so I just ate the chicken and pesto, which I loved. I can't wait to go back and try their breakfast, especially on that cute patio.

Yelp
Came here for Breakfast with Hubby for the first time and the service definitely didn't impress me. After ordering, it took nearly 40 mins to get our food, three other tables came after us and had gotten their food before us. Finally asked how much longer it was going to take, they said a few more mins, only have waited for another 10 mins or so. The server then finally had explained the kitchen had messed up our order. To try and mitigate the situation, she had brought a slice of Banana Bread out for us to munch on before getting our food. I'm giving it a 3 start for the food tasting pretty good, and loved the outdoor patio seating, but bad on service and promptness. We ordered the Herb Egg & Spinach Sandwich with spicy sausage and Breakfast Burrito. Both tasted pretty good.

Yelp
Waited for an hour with no service from the staff. Not even a glass of water or "we'll be with you"

Yelp
Just off 25th street in Ogden, this is a hidden gem. Definitely ask to be seated outdoors in the courtyard, it's lovely! Very comfy, umbrellas for shade, and birds chirping. They serve breakfast all day and the presentation is charming. I got a heaping mound of fruit! Service wad good. I'll be back.
