Google
We went to big country beer garden because of an ad I saw on. Wednesday Thursday and Friday at lunch from 11 to 2, Their sandwiches are buy one get one free. You can’t beat a deal like that. love the atmosphere. the outside patio and stage are absolutely wonderful. Inside was nice and cool. They have a full bar, waitresses were great. The food was fantastic. We did the Bahn Mi and the Nashville chicken sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back, hopefully on the BOGO!

I came here for a beer and burger after a long hike, and this place didn't disappoint. It was later in the afternoon, and they weren't crowded. The staff was friendly. Everything was also reasonably priced. I could definitely see this place as a local handout for those who live in Abilene. Seems like a great place!

Ate here before catching a live band on a Friday night while visiting Abilene. It's a great venue. Had the Carne-Dilla. It was smaller than I was expecting but turned out to be a good value for the price because it was VERY good! The service, on the other hand, was not good. They were crowded but still a number of times I noticed the server was standing around when we needed things. I had to go to the bar to get my water refilled. I did really enjoy the outdoor space and live music.

The Big Country Beer Garden is a gem! The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for enjoying time with friends or family. The outdoor space is spacious and well-designed, with plenty of room to unwind and enjoy the vibe. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel at home. Whether you're stopping by for a casual evening or a special event, this place always delivers a great experience. Highly recommend!

Almost died of thirst because no one pays attention to refills around here. Cups are 6oz too which doesn’t help, but sure, fill it all the way up with ice. Got the $11 queso, it was super good, but for $11, it was impressively small. And deep. These guys aren’t queso connoisseurs, otherwise their queso containers would be wider, yet shallower, allowing for easy scooping and scraping (when you start running out). Still overpriced for the portion. $11 is crazy for that much queso. I can’t express that enough. Burger is excellent, comes with fries, but $16??? Was it supposed to come with a handy? Must’ve missed that part—overall everything is overpriced and the staff needs some perceptive training. I’d take Braum’s any day.

Food is good! I got the smash burger and it’s super flavorful! Highly recommend getting some queso to dip your fries in (though i wish they gave you a little more). The outdoor seating is nice, but they were testing the sound system for a concert and it was crazy loud and I got catcalled by a bunch of drunks. Not the restaurants fault, but that with the sound testing kinda soiled the experience

We were passing through town and decided to stop by the Big Country Beer Garden to stretch our legs and let our dog out. The sandwiches were yummy and service was great - our server even brought ice water for our pup. Will definitely stop again next time we’re in town. :)

All the food was amazing! Everything down to the fries were delicious. Definitely coming back! Drinks also did not disappoint! We did not have a reservation but they seated us anyway. We will be coming back.

Yelp
I saw a special the BCBG was running. Every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at lunch, sandwiches are BOGO free. Off we go! The dining room and full bar are very nice. A large covered patio and outdoor stage are great for live music. Some Sunday nights are blues jam, which I intend to go to! Anyway, the food was great. We tried the club, chicken sandwich, and the Bahn Mi. Excellent! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great food, decent beer list, terrible service. Drinks take roughly 15-20 minutes to reach table on a slow night. Even the bottled beers take longer than it would to run to the liquor store and back. We ordered food and when they brought everything out, they let us know my wife's food wasn't available. Ordered a beer at the end of our meal only for it to come out in a dirty glass 20 minutes later. Then they tried to charge us for my wife's missing meal. Overall, I'd go back and give it another shot with a new server only because the pork belly bahn mi was so good!

Yelp
What an expense for the owner(s). 5 (FIVE) girls behind the bar and we can't get waited on. There's really no one here One man eating at end of the bar. Can see the servers standing at the bar snacking. So weird. Music so loud we couldn't hear waitress. Wish I had read the other reviews before we went. Training desperately needed. No handicap access found. Waited 30 minutes to place order. Decided to pay for beers (brought by a different server at 15 minutes in) and left.

Yelp
We ordered a couple appetizers, food and drinks. Let me start off by saying that our server was great. Vera served in a hot glass. The cider had a terrible taste. Not typical to the Uncle of their local breweries for the same exact drink. Boudin balls, lack in flavor. Very blah unless you dipped them in a sauce which we did not like either one so we got ranch.. Carne-dilla. Came with an awful sauce that isn't listed on menu. Ruined entire thing. Meatball sub was so extremely spicy. We asked server if he knew how spicy it was. He'd never tried it. Chips were has cooked and soggy so I ordered a side of CHICHARRONES and they were great. Except menu says one price and I was charged $7. Bathrooms were men/women sharing which is fine but they were both disgusting with urine all over floor and toilet in one and the other same. Staff did take care of that within 20 minutes of mentioning. All seats outside do not have "backs". It's a bench style seating which sucks for anyone with disabilities or issues siting without. Probably a bad night. We will probably give one more try in few months. Pretty hard to swallow a $120 bill for two people and not touch the food or drinks.

Yelp
We had a very nice outdoor experience on the covered porch. The staff allowed us to enjoy a leisurely lunch with family. Lillian and another young man, were informative and friendly. The food was all good. Very yummy apps & entrees! We tried many!

Yelp
Really nice place. The environment is fresh and inviting. The staff was helpful and got us taken care of quickly. The menu is somewhat limited, but what we ordered was great! We will be back to try more!

Yelp
Cool new spot to grab a brew, good food, and catch some live music. Great location in the middle of the SODA District nightlife. The outdoor seating around the big garden stage is a nice touch. Rumor is that the folks the own The Big Country Tap House opened this place. Cool apps and funky sandwiches. Also have a nice selection of beers. We will be back.

Yelp
Fantastic choices on beer. Although they didn't have any Hazy IPA on draft, they had several kinds in can. The Smashburger was good and had two patties that were juicy but not a lot of flavor. The bread was fresh as well as their jalapeño. The beer battered fries were OK, but would have rather had choice of sweet potato or thicker cuts. Had the patties had a more flame broiled smokey flavor I could have said perfect. The bartender was kind and knew her beers. It's a cool vibe!

Yelp
I think I found my new favorite place. The food is awesome. The beer garden is super cool with a good ambiance.
