Lovely friendly staff and a great location. Fresh locally sourced good quality food, cooked well. We had the fishcakes for lunch which were served with pickled fennel on the top and a mustard cream sauce. The fishcakes were full of fish and we were served with three each which was more than enough! I loved the pickled fennel on the top which added a bit of a bite to it too. Delicious and great with a glass of white wine or a homemade lemon verbena cordial. The coffee is good too. Highly recommend this lovely cafe.

Everything here is perfect! The staff were lovely and friendly, the food is perfect, the atmosphere is totally chill! The pancakes are particularly amazing (both kinds) and the berry ones make a glorious breakfast dessert! The chips are also the best chips I’ve ever had! Super dog friendly too! And they don’t charge extra for oat milk woohoo!!

First visit today. The best Sunday lunch in Cornwall. Food was exceptional (I even ate all of my vegetables - I hate vegetables). Small but exquisite menu, service was excellent and great value for money. 100% recommend

Wow what a find! Used maps to look for a random place to eat and this place popped up. Tucked away it was an absolute delight, friendly warm hosts and the food was amazing! We had cod and parsley fishcakes with mustard cream and pickled fennel (Devine) and loaded fries that had mushroom bolognese, chill jam and Parmesan. With drinks we paid just over £17 each and we will be back! 100% recommend

A lovely place to have coffee and food. The menu was small but thoughtful, food cooked perfectly with some interesting twists (Shakshuka instead of plain old tinned tomatoes). Staff were amazing and attentive, try and get here if you can 😊

Such a hidden gem! Friendly people and lovely breakfast and coffee. Would definitely come back for their lunch menus. Very pretty wild flower next to the cafe & also lovely nursery with amazing succulents collection. Plenty parking space.

Fabulous food and location, the Mushrooms Bolognese loaded fries is superb, as was Jollys Ginger beer with Jamaican chili extracts. Second visit July 28th 2023 and tried the aubergine bao bun which was super tasty as was the mackerel pate. No problems with sitting outside with our large woolly dog, inside was quite busy. Visited on 30/03/24 the Mushroom Bolognese Loaded Fries are still yum-tastic 😋 decided to push the boat out with the fabulous deserts. Visited 07/02/26 Fabulous as always. If you visit because of my review and love The Big Green Shed as much as I do make sure to give my review a like so others can discover and enjoy this hidden gem.
