Michelin-Starred Chef John Fraser Is Opening a Food Hall in Downtown Boston | Eater Boston

"At the burger joint Big Grin, the focus is on three‑and‑a‑half ounce Pat LaFrieda beef patties stacked on potato buns with American cheese, a special Big Grin sauce, and beef tallow onions cooked in rendered beef fat; Fraser says the straightforward Big Grin cheeseburger “is really, really good,” and it pairs well with the $5 “pickle minitini” martini served with a pickle; the menu also includes an Impossible Burger, cold lobster rolls, hot dogs, crinkle‑cut fries, duck‑fat waffle hash browns with melted Fresno chile‑cheddar, and desserts such as apple or spiced gingerbread hand pies." - Erika Adams

Food: This place has one of the best smashed burgers, super juicy, and their crinkly fries are lightly seasoned, still crispy even when they got slightly cold after I finished eating the burger. Their fries are waaaaayyyy better than the sad soggy sorry fries from ShakeShack. I do have a suggestion, could you please bring back the sesame seeds buns, the last 4 times my burger was made with a different bun no sesame seeds :( Service: The lady who works there always provides exceptional service, she always keeps a positive attitude even when some of their customers were being impatient and rude to her. She’s amazing, please give her a raise!!!!

Burger was reasonably priced and taste was good. Didn’t love the tater tots/hash browns because they didn’t have a lot of taste and were super greasy, but overall it met expectations for what I was expecting. Comparable to ShakeShack.

Just a typical mediocre smash burger. Honestly shake shak is much better and it’s cheaper. The olive oil hash brown was swimming in oil. It made my stomach hurt. Wouldn’t recommend.

Yelp
I love the burgers from this place but it is a bit pricey. Great place to go for lunch during work. However, there can be quite a line, so I recommend to order ahead of time if you are in a time crunch. I got the big bacon burger and everything was just so good (bacon, onion, burger).
