This place is pretty friggin great.
So, walking in for the first time, I thought I recognized the place.....it used to be woodwork, explaining why the layout felt so familiar. It was also, completely filled with smoke from the tiny kitchen in the corner (more on this in a bit). Besides deja vu, and smokey eyes, this place also had a beer vendor handing out free beers, so I was of course a happy if blurry-eyed camper*.
They still have plenty of TVs hanging above the bar, but instead of baseball or football, Hook was on...which not gonna lie, I was 100% cool with (#rufio). I ended up getting a smidge hungry so I ordered the sliders. @2 for9$ they don't sound super cheap, but sliders is almost the name word for these. They are really pretty substantial and are very good. We also had the mac n cheese, which wasn't bad but didn't hold a flame to the burgers. The drink selection is solid, as is the beer lineup, and the bartender was super chill. If you're looking for a solid spot to have a few beers at a reasonable price, and a small bite to eat, you could do far worse than Bilt.

*They ended up letting us have as many beers as we wanted on the vendors tab up until he paid, so it was kinda like an old-school Brooklyn yelp event.
