Where to Eat the Best Spicy Fried Chicken in Dallas-Fort Worth | Eater Dallas

"Perhaps the only thing that can make a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich better would be to put it on a biscuit — which is exactly what the Biscuit Bar does. Nashville-style chicken, dill pickles, and housemade ranch are piled atop a fluffy biscuit, a perfect combination of buttery, spicy, and cool." - Rachel Pinn

The biscuits here are fabulous. Buttery tender love!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We rolled in on a Sunday morning and tried a few sandwiches and a hummingbird latte. Wish we tried the tots because that menu is amazing. Not very busy yet, so we had a great visit and an event better breakfast. So good!!

If you’re looking for a casual spot to enjoy good food and service, The Biscuit Bar is a great spot! I recently dined there with my family, and we were pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Fancy Chicken, and it was so tasty! My 13-year-old son went for the Hot, Hot Chicken Sandwich and was thrilled with the kick of spice—he loved every bite. My husband tried the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich and couldn’t stop raving about it - this sandwich is a popular choice but to be honest I liked my sandwich more! We also shared an order of their tator tots and they were also good! To drink we had the Honeysuckle Latte (hot), and it was the perfect finish to our meal—rich and smooth with just the right sweetness for me. The place itself is spotless, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Everyone was friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, The Biscuit Bar is the perfect spot for a laid-back yet delicious meal, and I highly recommend!

A great place to get a bite to eat day or night. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food and drinks were amazing. They were so good we had to come back again before leaving the city. Definitely recommend.

Google
The biscuits were very good! I got the chicken and waffle one, recommended by the cashier. I tried the sweet potato tots and also the biscuits- I forgot their name- but they tasted like beignets. Sooooo good!!

Google
The food isn't that good for the price I paid 21 and this is what I got. The biscuit and sausage gravy should come with more gravy it's $5 and you basically are selling me flour. Maybe a plastic container and you can just have it in there with the gravy instead of having them separate it's just not enough gravy for the biscuit and it's $5

I’ve been wanting to check out this spot for a while now… Was leaving the downtown area and thought I would pop in and grab some food… I ordered sweet potato tater tots and my tater tots were burnt. I ordered regular tater tots for my sister and you could tell they were cooked in the burnt grease because they had a burnt aftertaste. Ordered the Montecristo biscuit and the biscuit had a burnt taste as well. You could see black stuff on the meat and the biscuit like it cooked in a burnt skillet. We were missing a biscuit sandwich. I didn’t get a printed copy of my receipt otherwise I would be emailing corporate office. I’ll never order this food again.

Google
The food was absolutely amazing! 10/10 for their biscuits - simply perfect! The staff were wonderfully kind and helpful. We visited with our family on Sunday morning for breakfast, and it was completely worth it. We tried several sandwiches and lattes - their menu is fantastic! Can't wait to explore more of their offerings. The atmosphere was peaceful and delightful. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Google
The Biscuit Bar serves as a great place to grab something delicious to satisfy your savory or sweet cravings anytime of day! It offers a casual environment with plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. The staff provide fast and friendly service. The food tastes flavorful! I highly recommend. Note: You park in a paid lot across the street from the building. You get in line to order at the register prior to seating yourself. They give you a number and bring your food to you.

Yelp
So good! Since being in Texas the food has been subpar. But The Biscuit Bar is a 10/10! The few servers that assisted us were nice and helpful. We came on a Sunday afternoon so expect a crowd. Seating is limited (81 occupancy) and self seating. A bit hectic for my liking but definitely a place I will frequent. The bar is spacious for the limited seating and accommodating for what I could see. The waitstaff were very efficient and worked steadily. They were on it! The food was ssooooo good. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. A little bigger than I prefer but nonetheless flavorful. My partner's steak was juicy and delicious as well. He truly enjoyed it and his coke. Although it's states with natural sugar, he said it tasted like regular coke lol. Again, 10/10 recommend! Tip: parking is across the street. You have to pay to part which is around $10-12.

Yelp
Good spot! Recommended to us as a must-visit at the Stockyards. The tots are nice. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't order half regular/half sweet potato. Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to put a little of both in a tray. But the sandwiches we got were great. I got one with chicken and maple syrup on a sweet biscuit I think. It was nice. And we also got the grilled chicken one, which was even better. They also have some fun sodas but we didn't get any. Lots of seating & good vibe inside. Good food option at the stockyards for sure.

Yelp
We stopped at The Biscuit Bar on our way home and it was the perfect place to conquer our hangry tummies! We had the hot hot chicken which was both crispy and flavorful! The biscuit also was very fluffy! I love it when it absorbs the flavors from the bottom and oh did it! We also had the chicken and not a waffle, a fried chicken on a biscuit turned french toast! It was a messy delight! Highly recommend you grab some napkins! Overall, the ambiance was nice, it was a beautiful day to sit outside, and it was a short walk to Deep Ellum, where they had a few markets set up! Highly recommend for any time of day!

Yelp
Biscuit spot that opens late? Need. Came here during a night out and gotta say, biscuit sandwiches hit the spot quite well! Had the Pulled Pork and it was very very good. The Biscuit & Sausage Gravy is solid. Also tried a bit of the Fancy Chicken. The chicken was a bit dry but all the flavors worked well. We also got the tots to try and while the regular tots and the sweet potato tots were good, the one with the sausage gravy was all our favorite! There's also cocktail and beer options here. Most of the drinks were to sweet for me, but the Arnold was probably all our favorite. Service was a bit hectic - they were definitely a bit short staffed. Even though it was hectic, the staff was still great!

Yelp
Considering it's proximity to Deep Ellum and Dowtown, I'd probably not go out of my way because traffic and parking are hit or miss after 10am. If it's convenient, I'd definitely recommend it. Ambiance was low key and decent. Establishment was very clean and service was excellent. Menu had plenty of options and takes nothing such a french toast biscuits. I'll likely return given tbe chance and my curiousity. They also have drink specials and mimosas for brunch. I gave a 3, but closer to a 3.75. The bacon left a lot to be desired‍

Yelp
For our first meal in Dallas we decided to try out Biscuit Bar. It was in the same area as our hotel. We ordered three different biscuits and tots and mimosas. The biscuits were good. I ordered the Hot chicken and the HOSS. Both were very flavorful. The mimosas were good as well. Overall it was a good experience to grab a quick bite to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
The biscuits here are delicious, but my favorite thing was the loaded tots! The egg and bacon on my sandwich weren't cooked exactly to my liking, but the biscuit itself was great. The service was awesome, super quick and the cashiers were so helpful and patient. The ambiance is really nice and the place looks beautiful inside and out.
google avatar

Clarissa A.

Yelp
Loved the food and service! It was a little hot inside but the whole experience was lovely! My favorite was the tots.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for an after dinner drink and I ordered the Fruity Pebbles drink and my hubs ordered Cocoa Puffs. Both were unbelievably good! Service was friendly. It was quiet at the bar. Definitely recommend going to get a unique twist on a childhood favorite in a drink!!

Yelp
I am so glad this location exists. I used to have to drive all the way to Plano to experience the deliciousness of The Biscuit Bar. This location helped get me through the first trimester of my pregnancy as I was obsessed with biscuits and gravy at the time. They have the same yummy options as the other location, but this location is better, IMHO. It's in the middle of Deep Ellum, so after you eat, you can walk around and do some exploring. There's outdoor seating, and when I come with my kids, they love to play around the metal artwork they have in the front. I think it's like a robot or something. Every time I go, the staff are always friendly. I recommend you go!

Yelp
These biscuits are better than anything I've ever had in my life! I love biscuits and these did not disappoint. A group of four of us were visiting from out of town and I'm sad I don't have a Biscuit Bar by my house. We all ordered a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and split an order of tots and sweet potato tots. Everything was made perfectly and tasted so delicious. We were served so quickly and the staff was friendly and worked fast. A great start to our morning and I wish we would have come back every day we were here! There's lots to try on the menu too. Biscuit Bar is a must visit in the Dallas area.

Yelp
The tone is set with their neon sign "I love Gluten", see my pic. This place is all about biscuits and what can go in and on them. The staff was helpful in explaining our selection. We started with the Uptown Salad with added chicken. As you can see in my pic, it is rough chopped. The ingredients were fresh and the chicken was moist. I ordered The Hoss. As you can see in my pic, it has Southern fried chicken with Monterrey Jack cheese, bacon B-bar sausage gravy and honey butter. Needless to say, I ate this with a knife and fork. While the biscuit was bland it acted as a great carrier for everything and melded well with the gravy and butter. The chicken was crunchy and nicely fried. The bacon is always good and added a nice touch of salt to the chicken and gravy. For an old fashion fix for hearty food, this place is a contender.

Yelp
Disrespectful staff!! Because I can appreciate the concept and the hard work the owners have put into this place, I will be honest and fair with my review, despite how the staff spoke to me. Being from the south and making my share of homemade biscuits, I had high expectations for a biscuit place that's only open Fri-Sunday. The vibe is cool inside, even offering a bar option for seating and drinks. The biscuit choices were unique and takes a little time to read through and choose. Final product was good, came out quickly, and hot. I would have appreciated real bacon instead of the microwave strips. Fountain drink options were unusual with real sugar options. Restroom was clean. Nice weekend breakfast option. Hopefully staff will treat you better.

Yelp
I was so excited to come back here. Last time in Dallas this was a huge favorite especially bc our hotel was close by. This time it was a miss for me. Ordered the hot honey biscuit, it was ok. The chicken was not as plump and juicy as I remembered or as I would have expected. It was like a pounded breaded cutlet. Some of the bites were a bit gristle-y and I cut those out. Only half the biscuit had hot honey...it was really runny so most ended up under the biscuit in the basket. I've used a popular brand of hot honey before and I can't say it's ever done that. The biscuit was good though. I wanted a BEC biscuit but it said over easy eggs (I usually like a folded scramble). I didn't know it was an option until my friend already ordered theirs and the counter staff asked them about which one they'd prefer. Maybe I didn't see it, but it would have been helpful to indicate they'd do eggs in different styles. My friend's BEC had some "cheese" on it that looked like canned nacho/liquid cheese or something? Can't say I've seen that outside of a ballpark outing. The staff were still very polite and the place was clean and there was adequate seating. Parking was a bit of a chore this time but I can't really blame the biz on that. Don't think I'll return. Too many other great places in Dallas

Yelp
This is my second trip to The Biscuit Bar at the edge of Deep Ellum in Dallas. My first trip was about 4 years ago (a few moths pre-pandemic.) At that time, I was overwhelmed by the ambiance and the flavors. So yummy! Today it seemed a little more tired. It was still busy but the shiny new had dulled a little from my vantage point. Here are a few reasons why... Last time I got something chicken based. The chicken is bomb! I should have stuck with that. The sweet potato tots were just as good as I remembered. They'd would benefit from some sort of chipotle aioli or honey mustard, instead of just ranch. Today I had a hankering for a basic BEC biscuit. The bacon was super thin and reminded me of the microwave bacon my mom buys. The cheese was melty like thick nacho cheese and didn't have much flavor. I had the egg scrambles instead of over easy, and it was made well. The biscuit itself was still really good! Today we sat at the bar. There is a decent selection of beers and breakfast bevvies. The coffee comes from a touch screen machine, so be aware it's not craft made. Lastly, the parking situation is rough. There are a few garages close by but they start at $7/hr. If anyone has tips for free parking in the area, please share! I don't mind a walk as long as it's safe. This may be my last stop here for a while. There are so many good looking options in the area. I want to check out something new (with parking) so I can take my time and take it all in.

Yelp
That chicken was dry. REAL dry. I ordered the Chicken & Not-A-Waffle, basically the classic soul dish of chicken and waffles but the waffles are actually biscuits. I actually really like the biscuits themselves. Crunchy cooked exterior with a soft and sweet interior. It seems like this location puts the drinks and biscuits on a high level of standards and leave all other ingredients to the wayside. My dad ordered a dish with no cheese. Guess what? The dish had cheese on it. Yippee.... They were also late with my milk; they presumably forgot about it until I reminded them when the food arrived.
google avatar

Yelp
The biscuits.... flaky goodness. The gravy... how do you make the sound of salivating? It was just that good. The southern tots... just a bonus bite on top of the rest of this scrumptiousness. We had a eleven hour layover at DFW so we hoped on the train and headed downtown to see the sculptures. We were looking on Yelp for place to eat and struggling to find something until we saw this. We stopped looking and I am so glad we did. There was so many good choices that I decided to start with a Cinnamon Toast Crunch drink and then we had to go for it. The boss, the tots, we tried a little bit of everything until we couldn't eat any more. You already read by description of how good it was so their is just one more thing to say Go To The Biscuit Bar!

Yelp
We were visiting and found this place on yelp. We caught an Uber so I'm not sure where the parking is. I didn't realize it was an order at the counter and seat yourself restaurant but that was fine with us. Ordered our food and found a table. They gave us a number to put on the table so they can bring the food to us. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. They also offer adult beverages from the small bar that has a few seats around the counter. I ordered a biscuit and my partner had a breakfast biscuit with sausage & egg. It was very delicious and the Staff was very polite. I still crave those biscuits now. Haven't had any better one yet. I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
Good food and cool ambience. I will definitely have breakfast here my next time in dallas

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times, and both times have been great. The service is rapid, and the food is hot and fresh when you get it. My son ordered The Hoss and the Hot Hot Chicken and, like a creature of habit, I got the Monte Cristo again. They were all absolutely delicious, super hot and fresh. I crave this place, and it always delivers no matter the time of day or night.
google avatar

Yelp
I would give this place 1000 stars if I could. Such a cute spot in Downtown Dallas, and very quick and fun. The cashier was great at recommendations, and was incredibly friendly. Food: We ordered a little bit of everything simply because we couldn't choose. Lots of options and small shareable servings let's you try it all! Two biscuits per tray. Tots were normal, but the biscuits...THAT IS WHY THIS IS THE BISCUIT PLACE. So original and so delicious! And yes, split the bottle of bestie mimosa.
google avatar

R. Mark M.

Yelp
The biscuit bar was good...I was unsure where to park, but I parked in Deep Ellum neighborhood (on the street) and walked over. The service was great and the food was on point. It is very clean and modern. Once you finish your meal you can go outside and take pictures with the "traveling man" sculpture!
google avatar

Yelp
Okay so first off, I was excited to try the biscuit bar because 1. I love biscuits and 2. It's very affordable. The Plano location is great for the spring/summer because it's located on a boardwalk next to water. It's absolutely beautiful here. There's also other restaurants in the same strip. There were so many options to choose from so it was hard to decide but I went with the hot honey chicken, taco style tater tots and a mimosa. I paid about $25 which included the tip. VERY affordable and great portion sizes. The food was good however, very cold. And it came out super fast, hence why it was cold. My friend ordered one of the biscuits that had cheese and the cheese wasn't melted at all. This place has so much potential to be great but cold food is disappointing. It seems as if they're sacrificing hot and fresh food for fast service. All in all, I give it 4 stars for the price, and menu choices. I will most likely go back because there are a few other things I'd like to try. Maybe I'll try the downtown location as well to see if the food is served fresh.
google avatar

Janelle J.

Yelp
Would definitely return. Come for the biscuits! I decided to try the The F.A.B.B. Which is sweet fig preserves, arugula, crispy bacon, brie. Really enjoyed it. I do wish it was a little bigger as I was left a bit hungry after. The combo of those items went really well together though. The service was great, you basically order at the counter and they give you a number to sit and they bring you your food. Ambiance is chill, with good music and they also sell Mimosas for brunch but we got there before 10am on Sunday and they don't sell alcohol before 10am.
google avatar

Diana B.

Yelp
Cute place with sufficient room to eat. Not too small, not to big. Near deep ellum and the bars/clubs. Sometimes a long line. I order online so it was fast. The day I went was pretty busy on a Sunday morning. Clean but parking you might have to pay. Food pick up was quick. Everything was in there and asked for extra gravy because I wasn't able to add gravy to my order, but they give a small amount. It was a 2 oz size. Gravy was bland and watery. I tried: Monte Cristo Hot Hot Chicken steak and egg sausage egg and cheese biscuit I would give it all a 5 out of 10. Typical breast fast food you can get anywhere except monte cristo. I didn't really enjoy the the meat inside the monte. Steak was probably the best to me. Sausage you can get anywhere. Hot hot chicken was more on the sour side. Other than that, not bad just not a im going to come back all the time place.

Kerry P.

Yelp
Not only was the food amazing but Larica (I'm so sorry if I'm misspelling) went above and beyond. She is such a hard worker. She is also very sweet and gave my friend a sauce she said she enjoys when she gets that meal. Customer service 10/10.
google avatar

Keith F.

Yelp
Not a full breakfast spot more of a snack . Great service and even tastier food. Order and pay at the counter and your meal is brought out to you. Had the grill chicken biscuit with southern style tots. Everything tasted fresh, had great flavors, super quick, interesting combinations. Great for kids and families. The star of this place on the weekend brunch are the drinks. The prices are very good and affordable and their variety of drinks are great! Get here early because the line can be long. The seating inside is limited and outside seating is available it's very chill, and casual.
google avatar

Erinne F.

Yelp
First photo of my 'sunny side up' egg.. clearly cooked hard. And second is the hair I found in my food. No explanation really needed.
google avatar

Marissa D.

Yelp
Small spot, good biscuits! While visiting Dallas my friend and I stopped by for breakfast. Large parking lot, this place is in a shopping center. You order first then they bring your order to you. The people in line in front of us were friendly and gave good recommendations. The staff however were not as friendly except for one guy. No smiles, no energy, they looked pretty bummed to be at work. Our server/bartender forgot to add one of our biscuits to the order but apologized and gave me another mimosa on the house, that was nice! Again, food was good and loved the tots but the ambiance left a damper on the experience.

Mollie C.

Yelp
The French toast chicken biscuit and the sweet potato tots were amazing! Definitely would eat again.
google avatar

Kate K.

Yelp
Ordered food for takeout after a very long travel trip back home. Ordering online was easy and it was ready fast! Biscuits were delicious and I am not a biscuit person generally. The El Jefe was a bit lacking in meat but still tasty. Tots were cooked well and the over medium egg on top was perfect. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Christian G.

Yelp
Depends on what you're looking to but this is a g to hangover spot for me in Dallas. Solid selection of biscuit sandwiches and some solid loaded tots. If they had cold brew it would be ideal spot for me day after going out.

Karen S.

Yelp
This establishment was recommended to try so my husband and I decided to stop by this Sunday evening for a early dinner. Due to the location, parking was scarce, but connected to The Biscuit Bar was also a parking structure that charged us $7.00 for every hour. Make sure you take your parking slip with you because your going to need to validate it in the lobby before you head out. Once in the Biscuit Bar I noticed their nice size menu up above the cash register for you to make your selections. Once the sullen cashier finally made her way over to take our order, I decided on the Philly, a Tequila Sunrise from their all day weekend Happy Hour. My husband ordered the bacon egg and cheese biscuit, a Bloody Mary (another Happy Hour selection) and a order of their regular tots for us to share. Food and drinks came out together pretty quickly, brought to us by the sullen cashier who I might explain never once greeted us when taking our order, never cracked a smile while taking our order or delivering our food to our table, yes you, the girl with the braids. Over all the biscuit sandwiches were pretty good. The biscuits were pretty big, nice and fluffy . The tots were delivered hot and crunchy. My drink was a little on the weak side, but my husband said his Bloody Mary was good. Overall everything tasted pretty good. Good enough to rate a 5, but I'm taking 1 away due to the lack of customer service. What's that saying? You can go a long way with a smile.
google avatar

Crystall B.

Yelp
These were the most fluffy and fresh biscuits I've ever had. The sausage biscuit and the chicken biscuit were savory choices that didn't disappoint.
google avatar

Carolyn J.

Yelp
Ok the biscuit was really huge .Lots of meat but it was salty. I couldn't figure out if it was biscuit or meat . I really couldn't eat it. To salty. It was hot and fresh .

Mecca D.

Yelp
Normally I have a great experience here but today was different. I won't discuss the situation that happened in store, because the manager was able to come over and make things right before I left, which I appreciate so much. I don't remember her name but she had glasses. Thank you so much. My issue today is, when I made it home i don't know what the heck I was eating.. Pictures attached below. I spent $23 on two biscuits and breakfast tots which that is not the issue, the issue is my food was not cooked correctly...

Yelp
STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great place for a snack and drink break. We were wandering around the area on a sweltering day and the idea of cold drinks and a biscuit snacks sounded really good. The decor is cute, clean, and modern, with Instagram-friendly little signs. I got an iced coffee and a plain biscuit with butter and honey, and the hubby got an outrageously-colored tropical cocktail, which was a bit too sweet for me, but which he enjoyed immensely (forgot the name of the drink, but I did take a pic). The biscuit was large and fluffy, perfected by the butter and honey. It turned out to be a nice little stop for us.

Kristi B.

Yelp
We eat at Biscuit Bar quite frequently and today had to be one of THE BEST experiences and food!! The food was hot and toasty and tasty. Service was quick. Everyone is kind and in a good mood. I love this place! Kristi B

Yelp
Had been passing by along the 121 Service Road for some time. Switched it up, made a date night with the wife to stop in mid week, see what's up with the name and place. It's a hidden spot on the backside of the Boardwalk. Low key and not a lot going on in their patio. But when you go inside and peep the menu, you don't want to outside anyway to sit and enjoy what they have in store for you. Trussssssst me..... We each got the Hoss. I also got the Philly while her second biscuit was the French toast based sandwich. Each of the biscuit sandwiches was a flaky buttery biscuit. But the content of each sandwich made us tilt our head, nod and say OK, OK, OKAAAY THENN. Dorian and Andre are doing their thing and did make 2 new patrons, not random customers but regular patrons. Peep my 2 pics....

Yelp
A bar dedicated to biscuits?? It's a yes for me! So apart of my Sunday Funday, I decided to go to @thebiscuit.bar Biscuit Bar near Deep Ellum and babyyyy I'm so glad I did! Literally they have such a wide variety of biscuits to choose from. And they also have a bar! If you're in Dallas make sure y'all pull up on them! The people were so nice and knowledgeable about all the biscuits!
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
Excellent, fluffy biscuits and gravy. Try an order with scrambled eggs with cheese. Clean place and excellent service.
google avatar

Ashlyn P.

Yelp
I enjoyed the drinks, the potatoes were overall good, but a bit too much marshmallow for my liking. Also the rasbrie chicken biscuit was enjoyable but flavor of the actual chicken could've been more flavorful. I loved the biscuit and I look forward to trying some other options on the menu.

Yelp
REVIEW UPDATED. (i still recommend this place.) The 1-star is for slow service and parking. I discovered that this location is primarily for foot traffic and deliveries. The area is booming, so that is where it may excel. But i won't be returning. I parked at the delivery garage next door, thinking i would only be inside for a few minutes, not half an hour. (For to-go order.) See photo. No ticket, but just a warning. I couldn't call my order in like last time, due to losing my voiced over the weekend, and the app didn't have a "guest checkout" option. It took 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches and tots. There were maybe a dozen people there. I didn't realize they were also waiting on their food too. Four (4) people left while waiting in line, due to what appeared to be staff shortage, but i think some were on break. (I arrived at 925pm, so it was slow. I imagine it gets crazy-busy later on.) FUN FACT: I had just finished a gig at a 5-star restaurant where i could've eaten (with a band discount!), but wanted to try a couple of additional biscuits here. Food was once again excellent! I had the Buffalo Bleu Chicken and El Jefe with sweet potato tots (no ranch was given, but i had recently bought Whataburger spicy ketchup from Walmart in anticipation of these lovely tots, so i was good to go! ). My server and cashier was also cool, i think she was just overwhelmed. While i won't be returning, i do suggest this place if you're walking around the area! #itshardrunningarestaurant

Yelp
Biscuit Bar is one of my fav places to eat. The downtown location is spacious enough to gather and the menu prices are very reasonable. The biscuits are great, but I love the breakfast style tots. I always get my eggs scrambled and the cheese on it is so good. Very filling and more than enough. We had exceptional service for a place that's not really a waiter type place. Everyone was pleasant and checked on us. Laterrica.. hope I'm getting that right.. was especially attentive to us, great customer service!

Yelp
Absolutely loved the food when I was visiting Dallas! The staff was super hospitable and friendly and our boozy breakfast drinks came out almost immediately lol I had the classic biscuits and gravy because I wanted to get their breakfast tots. Both were AMAZING. I am greedy tho so I would say when it says "shareable" tots, it's a bit of a stretch..unless you mean giving a friend a forkful of yumminess as sharing lol The reason I can't give it a 5 star is because although the food was great and I definitely plan on visiting again, my friend's order got mixed up and she had to wait probably 30ish minutes after my food came out. They fixed it by reimbursing her completely but just a head's up if you go and other ppl at your table are getting theirs, you might want to check in with them.

Yelp
Biscuit Bar is easily spotted in this Deep Ellum neighborhood as it sticks out with its' sleek, black building connected to an apartment/hotel(?). We parked along the street by the paid parking lot. The ambiance inside is cute with its yellow accents and neon signs. It is casual; order at the counter, receive a number and your order is brought to you. Menu items are affordable at $5-13 for a biscuit, depending how basic or loaded you want your biscuit. Prices also reflect portion, so don't expect diner portions! At the end of the meal, I was still hungry. I had the Hot Hot Chicken (southern fried Nashville style hot chicken, dill pickles, and house made ranch), bf had the special, the Whole Hog (basically all the meats- bacon, sausage, pulled pork), and we split an order of tots, southern style. I also had one of the cereal sips (all made with vodka), the Fruity Pebbles cocktail ($8). Biscuit was decent, chicken was decent, and tots were decent but nothing special or extraordinary. The Fruity Pebbles cocktail was delicious- it was basically sugary cereal milk that somehow had vanilla vodka! Overall a decent spot for a casual breakfast/brunch/lunch date with friends, but if you're traveling from out of town like we were, not worth the stop. Can't hold a candle to DBC in Denver!

Yelp
Amazing service, ordered to go wish we could sat down. The vibe was nice. And the food is absolutely to die for! My husband and I tried the hot honey chicken biscuit and the breakfast tots with a over easy egg

Yelp
There no way these reviews can be real.. I went there last night at 8:15 with my friends The place had the worst smell of paint or something. There was literally not 1 person in there eating. However I went up to the register and politely asked if they were still open and if I could place an order. I couldn't make this is up but they woman got mad at me and asked me what I wanted with the worst attitude. I only said I wanted to make sure you're open before I ordered. She rolled her eyes and said we are open what do you want.. I laughed at her because I didn't want to argue and we walked out to eat somewhere else.
