"The Bar at Bowie House, Auberge Resorts Collection, provides a luxurious yet homey atmosphere, resembling a fabulous friend's living room. It attracts a well-dressed crowd, especially during the daily house social from 4-6pm. The drink to order is the 'Damn Fine Ranch Water.'"

"Yes, the historic Fort Worth Stockyards smell like cattle, sweat, and dust, but thanks to The Biscuit Bar, you’ll also pick up more pleasant notes of butter, bacon, and gravy. With gingham-papered walls and high-top tables, this place is like a southern cafeteria that serves up perfectly savory sandwiches. Try the El Jefe with slow-roasted pulled pork, smoked ham, and monterey jack cheese served between two biscuits. If you’re looking for something sweet, there’s a plate of biscuit french toast that’s dipped in vanilla custard and topped with homemade whipped cream. " - emily smith

Solid place to grab a brunch bite in the Fort Worth Stockyards! The setup is order at the counter, find seating, and they will bring your food out to you. It was very crowded when we went last Friday (first timers) but it was also Black Friday and the Stockyards was packed. We all shared to taste everything. The Chicken & Not-a-Waffle was good. The Sausage Egg & Cheese was also quite good, but the biscuit was on the dry side and didn't taste very fresh, so that was a bit disappointing. The sweet potato tots and Biscuit French Toast were both great, and I would order those again! Seating was a little challenging as it was packed, but we eventually snagged a table, just had to clean it ourselves as the employees were swamped, and the rush cleaning didn't cut it. Not a huge deal. We also tried a couple of the drinks- the Brunch Lunch was just okay as it was syrup sweet with a sour edge. The Watermelon Rancher was very yummy and refreshing. I'd definitely get that again when I visit again. Prices weren't bad at all, so this can be a fun and pretty inexpensive brunch outing with family/friends then walking around the Stockyards. Will definitely return!

Google
These biscuits are delicious. There are plenty of options to choose from. Order at the counter and sit down, they will bring it to you. Food came out quickly. They also have a good list of alcoholic drinks to choose from. Respectful prices in a touristy area.

The girl working the register had a terrible attitude. Not towards me but to another guest who was asking if their food was nearly ready. She rolled her eyes, barely spoke up and just seemed completely over giving any sort of customer service. I was next to be served and the young woman barely spoke to me. I gave a 20% tip mainly because I didn’t want any issues with her or my food but she in no way deserved any sort of tip for her service. She may have had a bad day but you need to be professional. The biscuits were pretty good but nothing too exceptional. The tots were nice and the root beer was great.

Google
Wow the biscuits choices are over the top here. We came with visiting friend who’s an imaginative chef. We each had a different biscuit and all were delicious. Very ez to order snd servers delivered hot biscuits to our table. Loved every delicious bite and will return. Value us there.

Kimberly Ames

Google
I got take out order and it was fresh and delicious. The service was eh but could have come in when they had a bad day They barely spoke a single word to me but the food made up for the awkward interaction. Highly recommend in if stockyards and want something different but filling and tastey.

Google
Some of the best biscuits I've ever had! First time having biscuit French toast. There's not a huge breakfast selection which was a tad disappointing, also no menu on drinks.

Michael Hewartson

Google
Food and service fell well short of expectations. Went for dinner on a Thursday night. We stopped by around 5:15pm to check out the menu and only one table was occupied. We returned at 6:30 and found the place empty...this should've been a sign for us to go elsewhere. We ordered The Hoss and The Rough Night, along with Loaded and Holiday Style tots. The food was prepared correctly, but none of the items stood out. The biscuits themselves were very good, but after that the toppings were average at best. We expected a homemade taste and instead for canned gravy flavor and a clearly warmed from frozen burger patty. The Holiday tots, sweet potato tots with marshmallow and pecan crumble, were way too sweet. The Loaded tots were covered in an artificial cheese sauce unworthy of a school lunch line. Overall, very disappointing flavor and quality. Service was OK, but the employee clearly wanted to be anywhere other than this restaurant. But, I'd have been bored, too, considering nobody was eating there. I definitely would not recommend this location, especially given all the other quality restaurants near the Stockyards.

Google
Great way to soak up some alcohol from the night before!! The loaded breakfast tots were incredible! I’ll be recreating those at home! Best breakfast of our trip.

Greg T.

Yelp
Not bad... not great. The location and the decorating is pretty awesome but the staff and the food are OK. Oh, I have to say they play great music. The person taking the order was very clearly not excited to be here today. I ordered the pumpkin pie French toast, the Philly biscuit, the fully loaded sweet potato tots and nanner pudding. I would say the best thing was the pudding. The flavor of the pumpkin pie French toast was good, but since they use a biscuit as the "toast" it was a little too dense for me. The Philly was good, but the biscuit was dry and pretty tough, I had to use a knife to cut through it. The loaded tots were pretty good but the cheese sauce had a weird consistency after a couple min. Not sure if I'll ever come back to this location, but it does have good reviews so today might have just been an off day.

Rolando N.

Yelp
Came here looking for a good breakfast sandwich and left very satisfied. The biscuits are flaky, flavorful and delicious. The sausage, egg and cheese sandwich was big and very tasty. Hit the spot. The loaded tater tots were ok. The longer they sit the more it becomes a tater tot casserole but it was still good. Service was friendly and fast.

Kris R.

Yelp
Came to check out the Fort Worth Stockyards. After all the walking my wife and I wanted a quick snack. WE PICKED THE PERFECT PLACE! Food came out quickly and it was nice a hot. Staff was friendly and accommodating to my wife as she had a couple special requests. My pulled pork loaded tots were amazing! Pork was tender with lots of flavor! Tots were nice and crispy. The Agave Vanilla Creme soda was the best !!! Would definitely eat there again.

Jane P.

Yelp
The biscuits here were really good and buttery. I got mine with gravy and tits on the side. The gravy was flavorful and added a nice creaminess to the biscuits. It's a place to go to get food served quickly if you want to go in and out. I would definitely go back here when I stay in the area!

Deb S.

Yelp
Holy smokes! We found them on yelp in October when scoping places for great breakfasts. We finally set this table early November and we're happy it was open at eight on a Saturday. The place was hopping. The service was very good with smiles. Order at the counter and served when ready we were very happy it arrived piping hot. I recommend the three our group ordered! French toast bisquits Monte Carlo was rich , full of flavor and dripping with cinnamon. Chef friend had Brie with arugula and fig jam. Side of egg made it protein spiked. Mine was off menus. Fried chicken with slab of real ham ( no deli ham here!!!) and Brie. Omg this beauty broke my mouth!!! The ambiance is cafeteria style so we were afforded Texas charm watching other breakfast peeps enjoying a very southern treat. Located in Stockyard's Mule Alley the ambience is very cool for our weekend guests.

Kendra K.

Yelp
Cute concept! Sat at the bar which made it nice for our group. Service was a little slow, they changed staff while we were there, and the second bar tender just seemed to ignore us. Food came out quick and hot, great flavors.

Kim D.

Yelp
This is a great concept for a restaurant and it is executed well. The decor is simple bit clean and efficient for serving a large number of customers. Staff were very nice and got our orders out quickly. I ordered the monte cristo and it was so good! The ham and turkey were thick and the biscuit was flavorful. I'll be back at the location closer to my home because this hits the spot!

Tom S.

Yelp
I am not a big alcohol drinker, so this is the perfect type of drink for me. It was very sweet and you can barely taste any alcohol at all Saturday Sunday. They have one dollar off the drinks as well. I think they also do a happy hour Monday to Thursday I was a little disappointed, by the French toast biscuit, it was pretty good and I guess considering it's cheaper than the rest of the biscuits and makes sense but it was just a French toast. I know maybe I was expecting a little more? But I am really glad I got the tots with the egg because I was thinking maybe there would be no proteins on the French toast biscuit so it's nice to have something a little more savory with my French toast biscuit. Plenty of seating in the area there's a bar with some TVs as well. Service was fine no complaints.

Tony P.

Yelp
We went to have lunch here with our visiting friends from NJ and Family. Their chicken not the waffle taste great. Friendly Serving Staff. Very clean, well lighted and decorative signs were great.

Emily G.

Yelp
If this were at home I'd eat it once a week. The biscuits were great. The toppings were great. The staff were great. Zero complaints about anything. Don't miss out!

Lynden L.

Yelp
The food was great! But I was pretty grossed out when I looked up and saw this above us. Soooo many LARGE cobwebs all over the windows/ceiling. G R O S S!!!!!

Gah P.

Yelp
First time here. Customer service was ok. Wasn't greeted or asked if this was our first time or had questions about the menu. The food was ok. Biscuit lacking flavor. The hot hot chicken wasn't even Nashville hot. The loaded tots were ok as well.

Chloe T.

Yelp
While at the Stockyards, my mother and I decided on Biscuit Bar for brunch. We were so excited! If you plan to visit, be aware that this is not a sit down and order restaurant. You get in line upon entering, order your food, and it is brought to you. We arrived just after they reopened from the cattle drive around noon on a Sunday. The line was long and we waited around 15 minutes to order. I had been craving a salad and thought it would be good to help balance out the biscuits I was about to eat. To my disappointment, they were out of lettuce for the salads. However, my grilled chicken biscuit came with lettuce...hmm! Very disappointing and crazy how they couldn't just go to the supermarket and get lettuce to finish out the day. Instead, I ordered a grilled chicken biscuit. The biscuit itself was phenomenal. The lettuce, tomato, and sauce on the biscuit were a nice plus. The grilled chicken was tasty, but tough. My mother ordered the spicy chicken biscuit. Her meat was also tough and had hardly no spice to it at all. She agreed on the biscuit being phenomenal. We ordered tater tots to share because the cashier said the order is well enough for 2-3 people to share. It was truly only enough for one but they were delicious and we made it work.

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Our experience was proof positive that some staff cannot be left to run unsupervised. Dining room filthy, service staff wearing headphones so they couldn't hear you trying to get items, and the most unpleasant...the guy making biscuits had on his phone with his gloves on repeatedly texting. Too bad we noticed after we were almost done eating. Three tries to get the coffee we ordered and loaded tots had a tsp of cheese sauce and a cup of sour cream on top. Ugh.

Don L.

Yelp
I didn't get a chance to go and eat here but others said it was good and I love biscuits and gravy. We where in Fort Worth for the eclipse and stop by the stockyards.

Teresa A.

Yelp
Sweet potato tots holiday style is the most sweetest and yummiest concoction I have ever tasted. Reminds me of Thanksgiving yams with brown sugary marshmallow goodness! The service was quick as my friend and I just wanted a little snack and this did not disappoint. I know this place is known for their biscuits and Id like to try one some day but I have never had sweet potato tots! Sweet potato tots with a twist was mind blowing! I would definitely get this yummy snack again!

Maddy A.

Yelp
YUM!!! This hot honey chicken biscuit was so delicious for a quick breakfast stop before heading out of town. You could definitely tell everything was very fresh & housemade. I loved that I could see the biscuits being made in front of us. The tots were delicious too. I was expecting a long line but we arrived about 9:45am and there wasn't one at all. We immediately got in and got a table. It was great inside, loved the vibes.

Albert M.

Yelp
Awesome food! Place can be really packed on the weekends and parking can be a hassle if you go on a busy day. But it is in the stock yards Most of the biscuits I've tried are really good. My favorite is the Philly cheesesteak one.

Linda C.

Yelp
Good place to visit for a great tasting biscuit and gravy for sure. A group of us stop here for a quick bite and had multiple options off their menu I got biscuits and sausage gravy which was spectacular. I also tried the Buffalo Blue chicken and biscuit but it wasn't my favorite. My piece of chicken didn't have any flavor. The sweet potato tots were great as well Would I come back? Of course I would. Too much to try all in one trip

Steve L.

Yelp
While at the Stockyards, we decided to stop at the The Biscuit Bar. We went with the Chicken and Not A Waffle, the Pulled Pork, the southern style Tater tots and the kids chicken nuggets. The kids meal is a great deal. Nice amount of chicken nuggets, taters along with a fountain drink. My kid loved it. The sandwiches were both pretty good. Flavors were on point. If anything negative, wife and I agreed that it was difficult to keep the Biscuit together once you starter eating it. So once you pick it up you are kinda committed to it. If you put it down then you are risking it all falling apart. The taters were really good and that southern gravy was also really good. Fountain drinks were all local brand. Nothing coke or pepsi here outside of Dr Pepper. The Local Root Beer was AMAZING. Overall 4 out of 5 stars.

Brittany R.

Yelp
Lovely experience!!!!! The food was fresh & hot and delicious. Prices were pretty good for what you get. Every person who worked here was kind, courteous & helpful. The vibes were immaculate. The atmosphere was calm, quiet cafes style vibes

Emma B.

Yelp
The vibe is so cute, stand in line order your food, pick a table and they bring it to you. I got the breakfast tots- they say it's enough to share.. that is true if you order a sandwich + tots but I only got the tots and that was enough for ONLY me. The bar opens at 10:00am and the bar tender was not very pleasant, maybe she was just having a bad day though. Biscuits are great and there is a little window where you can see them making it! Make sure you get one with sauce or get some type of sauce on the side otherwise it will be dry. One person in my group got the Buffalo blue biscuit and it was just a Buffalo dry rub and the slaw was dry cabbage, probably wouldn't get that one again. Was a good quick stop before the cattle drive on Sunday!

Bryan A.

Yelp
This review is for the Nanner Nuggets. I didn't know this could be created from common food items. The fried biscuit nuggets, plated on top of a great caramel sauce, topped with a Banana Pudding with real fresh banana pieces, next layered with a light pound cake? And finally a creamy whipped cream topping completes this masterpiece. The taste and the texture mix push this dish above 5 stars for me and my wife. On a side note though, the people working here we're like mannequins totally lacking personality or any sign of life. Even the couple from Europe that spoke broken English asked me if something was wrong with the girl who was running the counter. It was so OFF. Good thing the food was worth this most bizarre experience to get it. This was my favorite part of visiting the FT Worth Stockyards. The should be on any tour offered to show you the sites around this cowboy time capsule. I'm not sure how that would tie in but I will forever think of Nanner Nuggets for the rest of my life when I see a longhorn.

Alexis P.

Yelp
The biscuits were good but not as big as expected. I did an online order and they came out cold and the order was wrong. Also pretty expensive for getting my order incorrect. Inside area is big and could be nice to eat there.

Leena B.

Yelp
It would be nice if they had atleast 1 vegetarian/ vegan option. We came in after 3 and they said there was a happy hour starting at 3 but nothing rang up with discounted prices. The person behind the counter was not very knowledgeable or helpful. Food was ok.

Katrina M.

Yelp
If you are in a hurry, do not choose the biscuit bar. While the food is good (way saltier than usual on this visit), the wait to get your food is incredibly long. They have one runner and it appears to be several cooks. The warming window (or order up window) had food stationed in it for too long without anyone running food out. We saw two tables that had paid for food, waited, and left without eating! That's a first for me! The runners were also bussing tables Suggestions: 1: place a square or dedicated location on the table for people to put their numbers. The runner searched for a long time for numbers and if they had a dedicated place to look, it would be faster. 2: when backed up, take a cook off the line and run orders. 3. When slow or less of a line, consider letting the cashier handle the to-go orders. Keeps her up front. We love the biscuit bar and understand may be short staffed but I think some things could be streamlined for the staff and customers.

Sydnie T.

Yelp
Delicious food and reasonably priced, we hit it right after the cattle drive finished so it was super busy and it took a long time to get our food, but all things considered (they make the biscuits fresh) it was worth waiting!

Renee T.

Yelp
Service is always good with friendly staff! The first time was really enjoyable, the second time? We had the loaded tots and the fancy chicken buscuit with fancy sauce, it was enjoyable! The loaded tots were overloaded with cheese sauce it took away from the tots, bacon, sour cream and onion. We will be back, love visiting The Stockyard and Texas.

Alex S.

Yelp
Small portion but the biscuits were awesome, everything else is average. Pretty expensive but you can watch them make the biscuits. Could stand to clean the bathrooms

Kelsey K.

Yelp
I love the biscuit bar I've been quite a few times to other locations for lunch and breakfast but this location is not it. Twice I've been here and the staff just don't seem to care at all. This last time the sandwiches were missing ingredients. They told us to order drinks at the bar but there's no bartender. Finally someone came over and he looked at us like we were crazy for trying to order a drink there so made us go back to the counter. Then the cocktail off their menu was made incorrectly. It's always dead in here and probably for good reason. Will not return to this location

Jetrina M.

Yelp
My friends and I were lured in by a photo of the apple pic biscuit in front of the store. Sadly, when we tried to order it they didn't inform us that they were out of whipped cream so that biscuit flavor was overall disappointing. We also ordered the s'mores biscuit and that was pretty good, which almost made up for the apple pie biscuit.

Y B.

Yelp
Air conditioner broken- no signs to notify customer. Walked in and thought it's hot. Then saw a 3 residential type box fans. REALLY! In Texas.. staff was working diligently. Friendly. Food was good.

Tommy G.

Yelp
Food was great. However, refused to turn AC on and literally every person in the place was uncomfortable and sweaty. Waitress said "there's nothing she can do" when we asked her to turn it on. The strange part is there is a huge A/C unit up above. We left and spent our money elsewhere.

Paula R.

Yelp
We actually ate here 2 mornings in a row! The staff was very nice. We ordered The FABB and the Grilled Chicken. Both were really good. I wish the FABB had a bit more fig preserve on it. The brie kinda overpowered the figs. We ended up ordering a third biscuit because we were still hungry. We split a plain biscuit. The next day we tried the Sausage & Egg (hold the cheese sauce) and... I have no idea what my husband ordered! lol Again, the biscuits were great! Fluffy and tall with the right bit of savory. So good. I wish there were other sides than tots. I would have loved some fruit. Overall, it was a great place to grab breakfast.

Hunter C.

Yelp
Ordered biscuits and gravy being 6$ only had two slices of bread, which were good. Can't not complain there and the steak and eggs. Pitiful steak on stockyards standards Ordered an extra egg which cost 2$ extra, ordered it over hard and got over easy. Not a big deal. workers are too happy to be here. Stopped one to ask for the second egg which took 20 minutes to arrive, not exaggerating on that. Grabbed the exterior door handle to go inside and believe it hasn't been cleaned in a hot minute. I rubbed a wet napkin on it making the jerking motion 3 times and white paper towel was black. Could be a super cool place if management was better

Cynthia Z.

Yelp
The line was super long, all the way to the door but it does move fast. Once ordered, they'll give you a number to place on whichever table you want to sit and they'll bring your order over once ready. This place is big and busy with a mix of industrial and rustic interior design. I ordered their chicken & not a waffle under the biscuits section of the menu and it was so delicious and perfectly made with a perfect combination of sweet and savory. I will be back again to try other items the next time I'm around. P.S.: the picture does not do justice.

Jen T.

Yelp
It serves me right to go during spring break week. Let me tell you, finding parking around the stockyards was truly an adventure during the lunch rush. The setup of the place is order first, grab a number, and find a table. There's the option to dine inside or outside. I'm not too sure why the cashier had to manually scoop the ice for those ordering fountain drinks that day. What I do know is that the carbonator was not working, which would have been nice to be informed ahead of time. Plain water simply tasted way better than the flat fountain drink. I'm a big fan of the tater tots. I had the fully loaded style tots and that sour cream surely hit the spot. The portion of the tots were perfect for sharing. I also tried the southern style tots, and love the added gravy. As for the biscuits, there are so many options to choose from. They do have savory and sweet alternatives. I had the B-bar burger biscuit, which is essentially a cheese burger with the biscuit instead of the bun. I may have indulged a little too much since I felt the need for some greens to balance everything out lol. Apparently, they have a secret menu. I'll have to ask them the next time around.

Kayla V.

Yelp
Food was good and came out quick, but I didn't like that I paid for coffee and then they tell us it would be a 30 min wait for them to make it, they were out of forks so I nicely asked the bartender if she had any and she was rude and mouthed off to us! Absolutely uncalled for. The girl who took our order was sweet and helpful on ordering though!

Torwah N.

Yelp
Went to the location in the stockyards. Aesthetically this was a good looking restaurant well placed in the stockyards. You order at the counter and they bring your food out. We ordered a good amount of sandwiches, but the star of the show was the cheese steak biscuit. Dripping steak and cheese thing sandwich was 10/10. Definitely would recommend this spot in fort worth.

Kelly S.

Yelp
This place is loud and pretty dirty...however the food is pretty good. My loaded tots were a bit of a mess. Not sure what was up with the 2 inch piece of green onion/chive?? We ordered the el jefe and the hot hot chicken Biscuits and they were good. The biscuits are hand made but not uniform which i would expect. You can see between the two biscuits one was tall and the other was really flat. My biggest annoyance here was how loud the other patrons were. Some of the people were yelling. Maybe its a stockyard thing. All the people working here seemed unimpressed and unenthused. The soda machine was down as well. Overall experience was food was pretty good but the ambiance/experience was annoying.

Katie R.

Yelp
Good food. ASK FOR THE SECRET MENU!!! Wish they had more to pick from, service was ok kinda slow with ordering and getting our drinks.

Domanica P.

Yelp
We walked out after sitting at the bar for over 15 minutes without a greeting. I asked the lady behind the bar if there was a bartender and she said yes and walked off. She came back and started pulling tickets without saying anything again. I asked her if we can order with her or if we have to order in the front and she said we could order at the bar but she was busy at the moment. Excuse me??? No thank you. And this is why I don't fool around on the stockyards.

Jamey S.

Yelp
Every time I eat here the food is delicious and I want to return soon. It's a great date place. Fast & easy, great environment and it's quite clean.

Haley F.

Yelp
Love the concept of Biscuit Bar. It's good food with a cute vibe. There are so many other sandwiches I want to try. I got the Monte Cristo and I liked it!

Rick J.

Yelp
We went to Fort Worth Stockyards for the first time on a trip to my sons in Frisco, TX. We decided to have breakfast at The Biscuit Bar as the menu looked great! I had the The Hoss: Southern fried chicken, crispy bacon, Monterey Jack cheese, B-Bar sausage gravy, honey butter It was delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their breakfast also. I would highly recommend and would eat at The Biscuit Bar again.

Gerald G.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for anything involving biscuits, however these biscuits are so delicious. I ordered off the "secret menu " while the rest of the family ventured into the normal menu. Just a warning, these biscuits and sides are Texas big. The staff were very friendly. They had a nice sized, well laid out dining area with a patio area for nice weather days.

LaTaya M.

Yelp
I have to say that I wasn't really impressed. 1st its located in the Stockyards so there will be a charge for parking. Didn't expect that but wanted to warn everybody. Also that has nothing to do with the review or rating. I ordered the MonteCristo and a Brunch Punch and my husband ordered the Chicken not Waffle. Overall they were not bad but just kinda so so. Mine was kinda sloppy a little too much jam. I think the problem was that the biscuit part wasn't really biscuit enough (if that makes sense). I would go back but will order something else so that I can get more biscuit-ish type of meal. Service as good and quick, food came out hot. The decor was nice as well. Good little cozy spot, super clean.

Brad W.

Yelp
Some of the best food for miles. Biscuit French toast was a HR chicken biscuit was a knockout Tater tots loaded also was outstanding. Biscuits were like the best ever. Can't go wrong.

Mary Frances G.

Yelp
the food was decent. I had Pulled Pork tots from the 'secret menu.' We also got the sausage gravy biscuit. Both items were good. The service was awful! We were the only people in the restaurant. When we came in, we had to get the cooks attention and she got someone to come take our order. We decided we wanted to get just a plain biscuit. When we went back to the counter, the only person we could see was the Cooke again she could not take the order. Another man in the kitchen said he was not allowed to take the order. I asked where the person was that could take the order and they said , they were not sure. It was so odd. How sad that you don't even have someone to take an order and we had waited about 10 minutes and then decided we needed to leave. I cannot see this establishment staying in business.
