We traveled to Ft. Worth for a Gymnastics meet and stayed at the Hyatt Place Ft. Worth Stockyards, so we were in the middle of the Stockyards. Perfect location.
The hotel had a list of restaurants and Biscuit Barn was one of them.
It was very cold, but it was in walking distance of the hotel. We started walking in the direction we thought the restaurant was located, but it wasn't. I called and the girl on the phone was very short and acted as though she did not care to help. I told her that we were from out of town and were not sure about where the restaurant was near. She kept saying they were located in the Stockyards and when I asked what it was near, she said, "I don't know" and then put me on hold. A man got on the phone, no introduction, no helpful tone, just a short "Hello?". I told him we were not from the area and needed help with exactly where they were. He was also very short with me and acted as though it bothered him to be helpful. I even told him the hotel we were staying in. He did mention the horses and asked if I seen them. I told him no and he didn't seem to want to assist any further.
We were finally able to get our maps to connect and eventually found it. Upsetting that our hotel was closer than we thought.
Food- Bacon Egg & Cheese, Fancy Chicken, Chicken & Not Waffle, Biscuit French Toast and Tots.
I did not like that my son's egg popped and it spilled out all over the bag and the other food. None of the biscuits were wrapped all the way.
The food was good and plenty for the cost. I would prefer the tots a little more golden and crispy, but overall pretty good.
They absolutely need to work on their customer service. Especially being in a "tourist" area and work on keeping the food secured. Especially eggs.
