Food was OK. Honestly, I expected more from a place in this price range. Portions were really suited to one person and not ideal for sharing. The atmosphere, however, was genuinely delightful. It was the part I enjoyed the most. The worst part was finding a small metal pellet (the kind used in hunting birds) in my pheasant. When I pointed it out, the staff tried to convince me it was a pepper seed or something similar, which was quite disappointing. If a restaurant is serving game birds that may still contain pellets, they should at least give customers a clear heads-up.

Very quaint, dog-friendly gastro pub - ideal for a lunch break between exploring the Henbury area! Sunday roast was fantastic with tender pork and hearty sides. Roasties could have been crispier and they could have been more generous with the stuffing!

The Blaise Inn offers superb food, significantly better than usual, with indoor and outdoor dog-friendly dining and the bonus of the excellent North Street Cider. Have been back twice because the menu is refreshingly different to other pubs and eateries.

A great stop. We were travelling M5 and M4 and looking for quality food, rather than a services. The team here delivered! Delicious food. I mean everything we ate. Nice selection of wine and local beers too. Excellent and well worth a 5 minute detour. Thanks guys

After our visit to the Blaise Hamlet and Blaise Castle Estate, my cousin suggested we stop here for drinks and nibbles. We ordered ciders and some snacks. We had a basket of bread with butter and chips- very tasty. I had the pork croquettes- they were so so. The day was beautiful and the staff and other patrons were very friendly. I'd come back to eat other foods.

We'll get to desert in a moment but first, a Sunday roast that more than ticks all the boxes served with delicious veg and cauliflower cheese as standard. Beer clean and crisp but desert was an amazing spin on rubharb and custard achieved by deep frying the custard and yes this not only worked but was a superb treat. Great staff and atmosphere tops off the visit

Yet another incredible meal here last night - this time introducing my best friend to our new favourite pub. She was very impressed. Amazing food, friendly efficient service and an overall superb atmosphere. I would highly recommend!!
