Google
Best chocolate Martin ever!! Great live music! It was fun watching everyone dance.

Google
This used to be the go to place on a weekend night. The martini selection is so limited now. Not sure what happened, but that is what made it unique. Now it's just an average bar with basics. But they do have great live music and 3.14 pizza is still great. Please upgrade your menu to be awesome again. Nobody like middle of the road. Be extra. You were so good at it.

Google
The food & outdoor area is phenomenal!! We had garlic knots and cocktails while enjoying the live music outside. Our server Alida went above and beyond for us :)

Google
Came here for drinks and stayed for dinner too!! Awesome service and attention to detail!! A big shout out to Madison the bartender for making excellent rum runners!! Another gentleman made my Tiramisu martini and it was divine!! Cheesesteak and Brussels were delicious. The live band kept the party going with some great hits!

Google
Blase is one of my favorite places on the Key. The espresso martini is to die for. I highly recommend it and don’t miss out on the brussel sprouts. They are so crispy and delicious. We had a great bartender Kristen who took such good care of us and was really funny.

Google
Been a local coming here consistently every Friday Oct thru May for almost 10 years They used to be accommodating to customers needs. The food was good with a decent menu, the servers were excellent and many became friends of ours. Now the menu is limited to mostly bar food and the good servers don’t last. They started new rules last night - 90 minute limits at tables but then did not enforce it. And maybe that’s because it took the kitchen 45 minutes to get out a pizza last night! No sitting at the rail area by the kitchen because they have a hard time getting the food out but that didn’t stop people from congregating in that area thereby defeating the purpose.

Google
Have been coming to Blase on Thursday's for several years. Always fun and great band. Bring all our visitors and friends. Tonight we were harassed about putting tables together for 9 and ended up with 11 for dinner and drinks. Told the waitress we were splitting it between couples when we arrived. When 1 couple wanted to leave we were told could only split bills 4 ways. Manager wouldn't come out to talk to me. No wonder they have different waitresses every other week.

Google
This was my 2nd visit to this martini bar. The atmosphere is great. This time I was disappointed in the lack of martini options compared to the many offered last time. The peanut butter martini is great though. The bartender didn't appear to enjoy her job. She had no personality and wasn't friendly. The bartender at 3.14 pie was very nice!

Yelp
It was very loud when we arrived at Blasé, their outdoor seating was full and the band was rockin'. We were meeting friends who held a small table for us, knowing we wanted to eat. I checked inside and discovered there is a bar but no real indoor seating aside from a few stools at the bar. I asked and learned outdoor servers were very good at checking with tables in their section. She was right, our server stopped by after a few minutes and she was very good and a true pleasure. Blasé and a second business next door, 3.14 Pi Craft Beer & Spirit, are really as one when it comes to the food. Blasé lists lots of pizzas on their menu and I decided on their Island Supreme. It's listed as a sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, and black olives pie. I got a large in case others wanted a slice, and in about 20 minutes it arrived. The pie was delicious, thin crust so it was easy to eat slice after slice. I admit I was preoccupied with all the stuff going on with the band and the very active dance floor and the loud discussions, so I didn't pay particular attention to my food. Normally I'd at least make sure all the ingredients were included but for this meal, I just ate and enjoyed my food.

Yelp
Had an amazing dirty martini, and my husband had the peanut butter martini- absolutely amazing, and quick friendly service even during a crazy night during spring break.

Yelp
This place is great! Definitely check out the interior it is awesome! The patio area is also great, live music most nights (and dog friendly). The martinis do not disappoint! Nice menu offering, the food was delicious. If you like brussel sprouts you'll love the appetizer. The service is great, fast and friendly.

Yelp
We showed up on a quiet Wednesday evening but we're delighted when we were welcomed by such a friendly staff and so many outdoor seating options! The menu has probably 100 different kinds of martinis to try, all very creative from your chocolate covered strawberry to a lemon drop. I'm a classic espresso martini fan and they were made perfectly. Thank you to the friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Truffle fries were a tasty snack too. This place also has live music sometimes too- come check it out!

Yelp
Checked this place out one night as a night cap. Had a martini and the hubby some whiskey. It wasn't bad, the music definitely made the place better. Service was fast and good.

Beth S.

Yelp
Best wings! Best martinis! But this place is very dirty ... you'll see big dust balls under the seats at the inside bars. Worse are the bathrooms... there was a dirty dirty ring in the toilet bowl in the ladies room that must have been accumulating for weeks. I mean, it was growing! We were just there about 2 weeks ago - very disgusting. If the public bathrooms are this dirty, you can only imagine what the kitchen looks like (behind the scenes). We are reluctant to go back, even though we liked the food and drinks. It's a conundrum.

Ray T.

Yelp
The management there is horrible. We were there with a large group and ask to put the tables together and were told no unless we wanted one bill. They were just too lazy to split the bill. We will not be back.
google avatar

Julia E.

Yelp
Not a fancy spot but good food and drinks. Some pretty interesting martinis and other drinks too. Pizza was good, we tried BBQ chicken, had a good crust to topping ratio. Service was a tad slow but they seemed to have only 1 bartender and 1 waiter. They were both very polite but also busy. Overall we enjoyed it and would give it another shot. Oh yeah; and truffles fries!

Yelp
We spend about two weeks in Siesta Key every year and this is a regular stop several times throughout the trip. Every martini there is crafted like a fine dessert. The servers are kind and attentive, and the live music in the evenings is spot on. This time we got a little bit hungry around 10 PM and ordered a white pizza from Pi next door. It was delicious and came out fresh and hot. You can't go wrong with an evening here at blasé!

Lee F.

Yelp
I am not a martini person, but I do like skrewball peanut butter whiskey. Their peanut butta cup martini is the best drink ever made. My wife had an espresso martini and it was excellent as well.

Jacquie D.

Yelp
Loved The Blase Cafe & Martini Bar. Sam the bartender was amazing she made the best drinks! The pizza was amazing

Yelp
We loooove this place. It's so chic, the drinks are delicious and unique, and their gd garlic knots...

Yelp
Perfect watering hole and spot for a night of live entertainment. Not sure if I'd go for the food but certainly stay for the drink and music

Yelp
Unless you want to wait an hour for a salad, DON'T COME HERE TO EAT!!! Came for drinks and dinner. Will say, drinks are pretty good (strong and tasty) and came at a good pace. However, the dinner was something you see out of an operations class nightmare! We ordered 2 pizzas, a salad, and a sandwich. I have worked at a restaurant for over a year before, their operations were a MESS!!! Kept being told 15 minutes for the pizzas, at least twice. (News flash 15x2=30)!! Really should not take an hour for a salad, and nothing else came. Band was subpar and annoying us more than anything with their okay renditions of 70s songs. We ended up leaving at the ~1:15 hour mark after a fight with the manager. Left without paying a penny to the restaurant (but of course tipping the waitress as she was incredibly sweet and none of it was truly her fault). At least we made friends with those sitting around us, bonding over a horrible experience, and later *conveniently* all ending up at the same pizza place down the street. My recommendation, go to Ripfire Pizza & BBQ right down the street. Went there after because we still needed to eat dinner. Staff were lovely, pizza came out quickly, and was absolutely delicious! Another quick note, we came here for dinner on a Wednesday in the off-season, I cannot imagine what the weekend looks like, especially during the summer! Not to mention that there are so many restaurants on the same street. Surprised they are still in business....

Yelp
The service here is exceptional. The bartender was willing to make customizations to any of the already perfect in Martinis. She made for both of us, and as you can see, mine is quite lovely to just gaze upon. She also was very casual and you could tell she's very experienced in her job, so I ultimately felt very comfortable in this cave like atmosphere, with an equal part pub drinking ask because of all the wood furniture and bars off. Anytime I'm in siesta key. I'll be stopping here for a martini. Can't wait to go back. Thank you

Yelp
I don't like giving bad reviews, just wanted to share my experience. Went there last night after dinner for some drinks, but the bartender did not take our orders. We went up to the bar, waited patiently to place our order, but she did not even acknowledge us. We noticed other people got there after us, the bartender took their orders right away. She even asked a couple next to us if they wanted a 2nd drink, but did not saying to us. We ended up leaving and went to Gilligan's. The service was sooo much better there.

Yelp
Friday Night Music is always fun!!! Menu has changed to match Pi Pizza. (Great baked wings!) But drink menu is the same!

Brad L.

Yelp
After several years of going to Blase for cocktails, usually good music and historical good pizza, I am taking this place off my list. Apparently under new ownership, the pizza is not at all the same or as good as it use to be. Crust is flat, little taste, and very skimpy on the toppings. The service is average at best (which other than the bartenders has typically been the case), and the solo lady music entertainment yesterday evening was truly 'nails on the chalkboard'. And finally, and perhaps the biggest is the horrendous, disgusting, filthy bathrooms. College bars have better restrooms facilities than this place!! This has turned into an embarrassing establishment for Siesta village standards. If you can't afford to remodel the bathrooms and keep them clean during your open hours, then hand the reins over to someone who will.

Kristin H.

Yelp
Ice cream was amazing!! Super creamy! You can split two flavors with any size! And the staff were very kind and hospitable. A+

Yelp
We'd give it a negative number if available. Had dinner reservations for 8. They didn't know what to do with that information. Waited for them to put together a table. 15 minutes before server showed to take drink order. Drinks took 30 minutes to arrive. Drinks were awful. Missing ingredients in several of the Martini's (their claimed specialty) Server came back 20 minutes later & stated 1/2 or more of menu items not available. We took a chance anyway as every other restaurant was an hour wait. Ordered. 30 min later server says Kitchen is closed. Really?? We noticed the table next to us up and left frustrated. To add, the place is dirty, bathrooms dirty & smelled really bad. Their only saving grace is the live music. Years back (Google their menu) this place offered gourmet food and was a well managed establishment. Sad, not anymore.

Yelp
To say this is a dive is a stretch. It feels more like a vacant project house from The Wire. It's SOOOO filthy. You have to very careful when in this place. It's clientele are some of the seediest drinks and sketchiest local degenerates on the Gulf side of Florida. Its staff is not much of a departure from its clientele either. It's not a good place to find yourself drinking, you have made a life mistake if you do Pizza is okay. Service is okay sometimes. Music is amazing -- live band is strong every night. All in all stay far away.

Diana R.

Yelp
Amazing Martinis SIESTA JOY Siesta Key Toasted Coconut Rum. Amaretto Creme De Cacao, Cream, Coconut Flakes $13

Annabelle M.

Yelp
Fun live music vibes, great service. You've gotta try one of their fun drinks like the Twix martini.
google avatar

Nicole V.

Yelp
First real visit here. Super busy location! Like crazy busy! And the bartender, Makayla, didn't miss a beat!! She was attentive and made amazing martinis all the while being slammed!! Love it when restaurants have amazing bartenders! Thank you to Makayla! We will be back!!

Uma M.

Yelp
Blasé and Pi have been " all over the map" for years. It's under new ownership as of this past year so it's going to take time for the new influence to take affect. That being said: Pros; live music! Good pizza in Pi. Yummy martinis in Blasé. New tiki roof is great improvement! Cons: lighting under the new tiki is WAY too bright. Feels like a cafeteria. The band on Thursday, which is typically good (The Dirty Birds), are known to take very long breaks (so people leave and go next door). The tables outside are cheesy. There is only one high top table (which everyone covets).

Ashley W.

Yelp
We had the strawberry shortcake and espresso martini with Madison and it was amazing!

Jd S.

Yelp
The music is normally above average & fun. The food & service is terrible. Come for the drinks and music ... not the food or service! Going steadily downhill.
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
We come here every time we are on vacation because the food WAS great. We can over look the service (usually bad because they have no staff)...: yep this time the food is just as bad as the service- the server told us Cynthia died. --- Brussel sprouts no longer have feta cheese instead is drenched In Honey & half the portion as normal ....same with cauliflower appetizer that was very disappointing. Which was a favorite in the past - Just not the same - spend money on the wait staff instead of live music - the music brings people in that your one bartender and one server can't accommodate. - sad .. this place has so much potential
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
Great outdoor space and off the beaten path so it wasn't packed but the drinks were just ok and the music was horrible. If you are a martini fan, lower your expectations. My Bees Knees was a 3 out of 5 and my husbands dirty martini was the same.
google avatar

Michaela C.

Yelp
I'm writing this review as I sit at an outdoor table at The Blasé Cafe. My boyfriend and I were drawn here for the live music. The hostess said we could seat ourselves because it wasn't busy and she'd bring us menus, but upon getting our table, no one came to serve us or even give us menus. I went inside to ask someone to help us but the host stand was unattended. After asking the bartender to send over a server, we got menus and waters. It's been 15 minutes since that happened and no one has come to take our order. Safe to say we're leaving! EDIT: before we left, a server came and placed cheese sticks on our table (which we didn't order). We thought it was a dish from the house to apologize for the horrible service, but really, he gave us another table's order. He proceeded to take the food from our table, give it to them, and then still didn't take our order! I'm seriously embarrassed for them... don't waste your money here, support one of the other awesome bars in Siesta Key Village.
google avatar

Sally M.

Yelp
Amazing place! Drinks and food are on point. Great prices. Atmosphere is perfect. Henry our bartender was incredibly helpful and very attentive. Highly recommend and we will be back.
google avatar

Lili B.

Yelp
We've been meaning to come here every year we visit Siesta Key. By luck we showed up when a party was a no show and got their table which faced the band- Lady B and the Buzz.If you get a chance to catch these talented and fun musicians, GO! Our server was helpful and funny. 3 standouts were Pasta Cynthia, Thai coconut chicken wraps and the homemade Key Lime pie!
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
Great, friendly service! Live music can't be beat. Any night of the week is always fun on the island but I highly recommend this hot spot.
google avatar

Kim B.

Yelp
What a fun, lovely, lively place to hang out, listen to a great live band AND have delicious food! The Brick Chick with Arugula salad was delish but I couldn't finish it because I ate so much of the damn Gorgonzola Artichoke appetizer. But who can blame me really LOL!! Thank you to our delightful, charming and attentive waiter Johnny. You were awesome. Xoxo Kim and Ed from Philly.

Deborah G.

Yelp
Great martinis with fun atmosphere. Live entertainment outside with seating and room for dancing. Lots of energy. If you are looking for good drinks and entertainment stop here.

Gabriel A.

Yelp
Dog shit service the lady with the crooked neck lady she was very bad we were waiting 2hr and she never put the food in after 2hr the worst fire that lady

Emily H.

Yelp
This is the worst food I have ever tasted. Looks worse then dominos pizza and taste awful. I was starving and this was awful. I am from NY and I am so confused why this place has 4.5 stars or a singular star. My vegan friend got cheese and vegetables and wasn't able to eat and forgot parts of our order. My friend also has a deadly peanut allergy and when we asked the waiter if it had peanuts she responded w a shrug and laughed, service was atrocious. We had to go out and buy our own drink bc they had nothing. The bar tenders and waiters are smoking and it smells so bad. This is worse then a dirty frat house. Not worth a dime, DO NOT recommend at all. I am mortified we ate here at this place and I brought my friends, this is beyond embarrassing. We had a reservation and they didn't even write it down.
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
This restaurant is... blasé. It's a good restaurant if you like carbs. I ordered the artichoke mushroom gorganzola. There were 3 stuffed mushrooms with tons of garlic bread! It was good but too few stuffed mushrooms. Their hummos came with soggy vegetables. Again lots of bread. I would give them 1 star but our waitress was superb!
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
We arrived, a four top and we were going to sit, have some drinks and maybe an appetizer. We were instructed we can sit at the inside bar or the outside bar, not the tables.. directly in front of the music, which is literally the only reason to go to this place. We did not have a waitress or waiter we had whoever was around and after they were done serving their guests they might ask us what we want and was super disappointed and then turned into a dick because we did not order drinks. We did not order drinks because we had gone up to the bar and served ourselves. I know I know the dick waiter was pissed because those didn't rack up his bill thus creating a bigger tip, but tough luck we were sick of waiting for a member of the wait staff, so... We ended up ordering two salads, jerk satay, and a order of fries. The satay never came and the salads were dry and sucked.
google avatar

Rachel I.

Yelp
****Cocktail review only**** A strange, little place at the edge of Siesta Key village. The atmosphere is dark and eclectic. Whenever we travel to Siesta Key, I have to have a "Siesta Joy" martini. It's the best! The restaraunt does not have family-oriented atmosphere, but offers live music starting at 7pm. Definitely worth checking out and having a drink!
google avatar

Sheri R.

Yelp
With all the wonderful restaurants in Siesta Key, I don't quite get this place for dining. It's located in a strip mall next to a pizza joint and the Fudge Factory. An outdoor seating area overlooks the parking lot. The wine was warm. The Manhattan was much better. Pasta Cynthia was a hearty bowl of bow tie pasta, asparagus & mushrooms. The filet was chewy and served with mediocre sides. I'd suggest stopping by for a martini and maybe an app. Although we passed, options included a cheese board, Ahi tuna and a Gorgonzola dip.
google avatar

Steve N.

Yelp
Great place on the edge of the strip! Great drinks and food. Go visit! You won't be disappointed. Keep an eye on the local talent that plays there during the week!
google avatar

Nicole N.

Yelp
When we got there half the food menu was not available. The appetizers were good. The Brussels sprouts were fantastic! The pizza wasn't great. The martinis were really good as well! I would recommend coming here for drinks and apps that's it.
google avatar

Nancy G.

Yelp
My friends and I did not have a great experience. The Brussels sprouts were dehydrated and overcooked. They should pay closer attention to execution as the main dishes were subpar and cold. Two thumbs down!
google avatar

Jeneen M.

Yelp
My night at Blasé had its highs and lows but overall I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a killer martini (or two or three). The evening we ventured in, it had been pouring rain off and on, so it wasn't very busy but we were seated in this small area near the bathroom. Our server was nice but not overly welcoming or chatty as I've grown to prefer/expect in bar type settings. We had to prod for recommendations but ultimately just went with what sounded good to us and had a phenomenal 3 out of the 4 martinis that we tried. We also got a cheese and mushroom dip as appetizer which was not good and two pizzas. My first pizza was incorrect it was BBQ chicken instead of Buffalo chicken but the server remedied the mistake rather quickly so I don't take away points for that. Once I did get the correct one it was just ok but I was hungry and several martinis in so I ate some of it. My friend got a seafood pizza but didn't seem blown away by it either. All in all because so many people rave about the place, if I'm in the Keys again I'd give it another shot but stay away from the food and bathroomesque seating area.
google avatar

Silvia A.

Yelp
Five for the bartender alone - "Cheeze" - Steve was the highlight of our trip ! He's from Ohio ... and was a comedian, Dangerfield impersonator, and mean martini maker - a MASTER craftsman at his art!!! Have the gorgonzola dip - AMAZING!!!! Don't be fooled by the outside appearance; the bar is one-of-a-kind and CHEEZE was a charmer! Will definitely return here, when back in SK.

Karen A.

Yelp
Friend and I were so excited to come eat here as the menu we saw online was amazing, literally starved ourselves so by dinner time we could enjoy everything we wanted. Get to the place and it's filthy, barley lit and gave some the sketchiest vibes a dive bar could ever give. We thought we were going to a nice restaurant on Siesta, as that's what the online menu showed. We get there and the menu is one condensed page, basically all bar food. When asked the server said "we got bought out in April so the menu changed" guess they didn't have enough brain cells left to change the online menu. Gave it a chance and tried a martini, literally tasted like acid and throw up. Worst place ever. If you're looking to spend money on mediocre food and terrible drinks, go to Beach Club as this place is only good for spitting your tobacco out at. Disgusting, it should have stayed closed.
google avatar

Gianna B.

Yelp
We went for my friends birthday! The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. We sat at a high top table in the bar area and had the perfect balance of music, insanely delicious speciality drinks, and conversations! I look forward to going back!! Thank you!
google avatar

Jack C.

Yelp
Was pretty let down on the ambiance and general scenery of the bar. Old and out dated. However, the martinis are delicious. Lots of options whether you like a sweet, sour, or dirty martini. Just have to get by the decor!
