18 Perfect Phoenix Restaurant Patios for Dining Alfresco

"The Blind Pig in Scottsdale fills a much-needed niche in the Valley’s Italian food scene: New York-style Italian. This husband-and-wife duo-owned and operated spot is run by Michele and Brandon Gioffre. True to form, they fly in ingredients from the East Coast, and anything else not made on site is imported directly from Italy. While the menu often changes, there are always East Coast Italian classics like NY strip, shrimp scampi, chicken parmigiana, and linguine with clams. Brandon’s hand-pulled mozzarella, known Valley-wide, is a highlight, and Michele helms the dessert menu. The courtyard patio offers a charming spot to dine alfresco. Although they excel at dinner service, the Blind Pig also offers a fantastic weekend brunch from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m." - Mcconnell Quinn, Nikki Buchanan, jamiekillin, Rudri Patel

Very friendly staff, delicious food portion bolognese could be a little more, wine choice could be reviewed. Ow yeah...the music...hmmm loop was done in 20minutes, we heard a song 3 times prior our dishes arrived...so you don not have to be stressed or hungry 😁

The Blind Pig has been on my list for months now after meeting the owner at the Uptown Farmers Market and hearing about their great dishes! I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant, it felt like a true authentic hidden gem in the heart of Scottsdale. The Lasagna is a must have, we couldn’t get enough of the huge portion we were given. My personal favorite was the bucatini all'amatriciana, a delicious pasta with guanciale that was a special that evening. We shared a bunch of dishes and left with a lot of leftovers! I will be going back here soon.

We have been coming to the Blind Pig since moving into the neighborhood in 2016. It’s gone through at least 3 owners since we’ve been dining here, and the food now is the best. We have been for both dinner and brunch; we love that they’re open for brunch on the weekends! Their menu now is Italian inspired. We went again this weekend for brunch. The staff was welcoming, even greeted us at the door like we arrived at a friends house instead of a restaurant, and we didn’t have a long wait like the new brunch spot across the street. My husband got the burrito which was huge and flavorful. I got the avocado Toast with eggs and it was the perfect amount. The Italian dinner dishes there are authentic, fresh and delicious as well. It’s a great local spot! Oh and the patio is dog friendly, perfect when the weather is cooler (pic for proof!)

Came here for breakfast and got some delicious food! The heirloom salad had a surprising amount of fresh mozzarella and surprising lack of greens but it was a very fresh delicious meal. The lemon pancakes were also super good! Wish we had some more fruit but wow it was super good! The biscuits and gravy was a bit of a letdown as it came out cold and was a little dry but the potatoes were really good :) Only main complaint was the service :/ we were ignored for almost the entire experience. Put a damper on our experience.

The food was excellent and worth the price, DInner menu is high quality and savory dishes. We got the million layer lasagna (can't remember how many layers it actually is lol) and the Alfredo diablo.. both were outstanding and highly recommend! The service was hugely lacking. Had to walk up to the bar for menus and drinks after sitting at our table for 15 minutes. Granted they get very busy for dinner but could be improved. Food was great so I would definitely return!

We were very excited to have reservations over the weekend for this restaurant. We both had been following on Instagram and it looked like a very cool place. I am sorry to say we were both very disappointed. It started at the time of check-in they neglected to open one of the doors, and we originally thought that it was closed Once we got situated and were seated it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered their famous mozzarella, which sadly included tomatoes that were Not ripe… The menu also said it came with crisps which did not. When we asked the waitress she said it was crumbled somewhere on top. I definitely will not recommend ordering that dish. It took us two hours to get our food at which point we decided to take it to go. The drinks were way overpriced. We each had two drinks which ended up costing over $100 for two of us. The chicken Parmesan had almost no taste as it looked like they ran out of sauce. The restaurant claimed to be understaffed in the kitchen. Definitely cannot recommend this place and would urge others to save your money.

Absolutely delicious!! This is probably the best pasta I’ve ever had, the texture, the sauce, the flavor was perfect and balanced. It did take at least 45 min to get our food which felt a little odd but they said everything is made from scratch and when we tasted it we thought all the wait was worth it. They also have cocktails, wine and beer. Can’t wait to go back and try more things from their menu

Go check them out! Their food surpasses all other brunch spots we tried in Scottsdale and Old Town. We have a new FAVORITE brunch spot now! I've been wanting to try this out for awhile and we went in today and got Steak and Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy, Waffle, and Tuscan Eggs. Their drinks were flavorful and poured well. The food was instagramable, flavorful, savory, and not overwhelmingly sweet or salty. Staff is friendly and was very aware of when we were ready to order and needing anything before we needed to ask. Prices were very good including drinks approx $30 per person. I can't say enough good things about my experience here. I will 100% be going back and making this my new go to brunch spot!
