Newly opened in October, 2019, this restaurant surely became popular in the area. We enjoyed their food a lot, especially for the super tender octopus. Yummy..... Servers are friendly, but seems that they were too busy. Not sure why but our server did not ask us if we need anything to drink until I asked for it. This is a bar/lounge and I suppose drinks would be stars here. After I have finished mine, our server did not ask if I need another... Well, nothing bad but a bit off from my expectation. Will come back and hope for improved service :)

Google
What a great place for dinner! I've been searching for good food and good service, but got fantastic food and service! The staff is friendly, the service was perfect, and the food was delish! Hubby and I shared the delicious Caprese Burrata and that was fantastic. I had the Beef Shank Tacos and those were amazing. I highly recommend eating here.

Google
This is a great restaurant with a speakeasy feel inside. The atmosphere reflects the Blind pig name. BBQ beef tacos are fantastic. Great drink selection and bar has many beer and wine choices. Customer service is high level. No complaints perfect experience...

Google
Drinks& wings were really good! Live music was cool Crispy shrimp was really salty. Tacos and deviled eggs were eh. Small portions. Pretty expensive for what it was.

Just had the best experience here. It has a great ambience and vibe. My fig mountain craft beer was very nice. The kimchee fried rice, crispy shrimp and chicken karrge were amazing. My waitress and the other staff were super nice.

Google
Place smelled really good as soon as I stepped inside. My son had the Cubano & I had the fish & chips for lunch. Both were very good. You can do taster for beer before you buy. Was not crowded when we went so service was excellent.

Google
Very over priced for the small amount of food served, margarita tasted like mixer only. Service and environment was cool. But not at all worth the price. This is the $22 pork sandwich. What a joke, also this is the 2nd sandwich after sending the first one back for being so skimpy

We attended a social networking event there tonight and the food was delicious and the staff was attentive and took such great care to make sure we were well taken care of. We’ll be back.

Yelp
Great place with wonderful service and delicious food! I hope the closure is temporary.

Yelp
Decor gives off Riverdale speakeasy vibes and I love it. Our server was very attentive and welcoming. For a Tuesday night, it wasn't busy but it wasn't empty either. Food came out HOT and delicious. Order the burrata ($17)! It was so delicious and I didn't want to share lol. The presentation of their drinks are super cute. I wasn't sure if we got to keep the little pig stick but I totally wanted to take it home. If you are not into fruity drinks, then maybe don't order the tiki drinks. The gemelli pasta I ordered was on the spicy side so I probably won't order that in the future but the tacos were tasty. I wish a side came with the tacos since the size of the tacos are small (street taco size). The kids menu is not listed on their menu, but they have Pasta and Chicken Nuggets available. Coming back just for the burrata!

Yelp
I finished an errand in the area around noon and saw this place as a lunch option on my yelp app. It's located in a large plaza so there's plenty of parking. The interior is dark with booths and tables lining the walls and a large bar in the center of the restaurant. They also have a patio. I was greeted & seated right away. The cheerful attitudes and friendliness of everyone here was welcoming and my waitress, Sydney, was attentive with a bright personality. Attempting to make atonement for my bad holiday eating frenzy, I ordered a cobb salad. An interesting non-alcoholic drink caught my eye so I also ordered the salted coconut latte. The cobb salad included cherry tomatoes, blue cheese, egg, and pieces of pancetta. While I liked the use of pancetta in the salad a lot, I did miss the crunch of bacon which is usually in a cobb. The latte was incredibly delicious. It is an iced drink but I felt it had far too much ice for the price. With that said, I'd probably still get it again. Good food and good service for the win.

Yelp
The restaurant was clean and had a nice vibe with cute decor. The service was about average nothing outstanding but nothing bad either. A group of me a my 3 friends went in on Sunday for happy hour and we made a reservation so we were sat down right away which was nice. We ordered edamame, deviled eggs, fries, and bruschetta. Everything tasted really good other than the bruschetta. (in my opinion) I've never had bruschetta like this and $8 for the 2 pieces pictured seemed a bit high to me. We got about 8 drinks between the 4 of us and 4 appetizers and our bill came out to about $140 and I won't lie I totally left feeling a little bit hungry still just because of portion sizes. Overall a good experience and I'd definitely come back but based on prices maybe just for a few drinks at happy hour.

Yelp
THIS. THIS, GUYS. This place is the place you want to go to for a date, girls night, guys night, fam dinner, business lunch, etc. Okay, the food... divine!!! The service...immaculate!! The ambiance... wonderful/classy/modern/hip Our server gave us all great suggestions according to what we usually go for/like at restaurants and new stuff! The music was good and also not too loud. The tables were roomy and comfortable. No matter where you sat, you had a good view of the whole room. Definitely will be back!

Beverly C.

Yelp
Dined here with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and the food did not disappoint! Everything tasted delicious and perfectly portioned for sharing. Will definitely come back again especially for the burrata!

Yelp
Updated REVIEW*** Returned for an indoor dining on a Wednesday evening. Had an absolute great dinner to Manager Cory for contacting us about our terrible outdoor experience. What we ordered: ~Mussels were a fav of ours. Definitely recommended. Loved the coconut curry & basil leaves on there. The sourdough bread was great to enjoy the sauce along w the mussels. ~Pork Belly Adobo was great choice too. Pork was tender & juicy. ~Blistered Shishito Peppers ~Prime rib special $ 50 on Wednesday. Finally returned and got to try it. Was really juicy & pretty big. Can be shared among 2 people. Served w au jus and horseradish sauce along w side of potatoes. ~ Chicken Piccata was delicious. Loved the mushroom & Parmesan taste to it. Recommended. ~Atlantic Salmon is a fav of mine here. The butter squash ginger glazed was really might. Ginger didn't taste over powering. Enjoyed my meal w a ~Dao Cabernet Sauvignon. My fav Reds. *on Wednesday they offer half off on glasses on wine & Whiskey Special. ~Double Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie is served w yummy vanilla bean ice cream. The ice cream paired great and it didn't taste overly sweet. ~Key Lime Bundt cake wasn't a huge fan. Service was great. Host sat us right away & we kept on getting checked on. It's really nice date night it girls night out ambiance. Dark and very intimate. Cory welcomed us at the beginning of dinner along w mud dinner and when we were done. Thanked us for giving TBP another chance. For it being on a mid week day. Restaurant was filled. Located in the Yorba Linda Town center. Towards Lakeview Street.

Yelp
First time here but to be honest I don't know if I would go back. The vibes and atmosphere were nice but the food was mediocre at best.

Derek F.

Yelp
The place looked interesting on Yelp so we decided to give this place a try. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich, but the meat turned out to be too dry, definitely not tender. The fries were disappointing, it tasted warm. We were expecting hot and fresh. Among other dishes we tasted were the shrimp sandwich and French Toast. Both were unimpressive. Lacked taste and texture. The bottomless mimosa was also kind of bad, it tasted like cheap champagne. The service was great though, we were well taken care of. The place is nice and clean, but I think the food needs some improvement.

Amee L.

Yelp
This place is a gem in York Linda. Great craft cocktails and delicious food. They even have a secret kids menu if you need to take your little ones. I live close by so I've been there a few times - the servers are great and the decor is beautiful. The only issue I have is they close early, but that's what you get living in suburbia.

Maggie R.

Yelp
Great place for Sunday afternoon lunch. Staff super friendly, clean, and the music genre is great. I suggest trying several of their appetizers n drinks.

Yelp
Came by tonight and felt unwelcome. We walked in to a practically EMPTY dining area. There were maybe 5 tables taken. We're standing at the door waiting for them to greet us, the two ladies at the host stand didn't say anything to us so I asked for a table. "Do you have a reservation with us? We're going to be busy tonight", meanwhile the dining room is more than half empty. We accepted an outside table with the heaters on, no big deal because we had a stroller. Another member of our group pointed out that they didn't seem to want us there. Which is exactly what I was thinking. Hmmm. While enjoying our food and each others company, the waitress came by and asked if we wanted boxes and the check. It felt like we were being pushed out. We continued to chat, paid the bill, and started to leave. That's when we noticed 1. They still weren't busy and there were plenty of tables inside 2. The other tables outside also had kids. The first table had a teenager-ish aged kid when we first sat down. Then the second table had kids and grandparents. Hmmmmmmmmmmm It was actually pretty cold and windy today so having a table inside would have been preferred. We only accepted the outside tables since they were going to be "so busy". But they weren't that busy. We were just exiled to the cold patio with heaters in the ceiling. And I think it's because we had a child with us. Who happened to have sat so quietly while we were there.

Yelp
Daily happy hour, yes!!! Saturday and Sunday HH 3-5pm. If you come for HH on the weekend, know that the dinner menu isn't available. Only food from the HH menu. You can order dinner items at 5pm. Like that would be a deterrent for me and my gf. Jason, our bartender, is amazing at his craft. Making each drink with precision and dedication. He might even smile, The food is limited during HH, but enough to choose from for a nibble. Bruschetta is small, but a great mix of saltiness from the Parmesan, a little tangy from the balsamic vinegar and juicy from the tomatoes. Be warned, it is two small pieces. The chicken karaage is the opposite being a pretty sizable appetizer for the same price. Plus the added bonus of shisito peppers if you like them. The chicken moist with a nice batter but not crunchy. Well, y'all know me and the drinks make or break the experience for me. The HH specialty cocktails are priced at $10 as of 12/11/22. Which is a great deal for these well crafted creations. My favorite was the Steel Drivin Man. Potent, smoky and smooth. So if you enjoy a great craft cocktail, you may love the Blind Pig.

Yelp
My wife and I did a date night at the blind pig Friday night. Awesome place ,great atmosphere reminds me of the 1920 Speakeasy. The drinks were really good and the food was also.

Kevin B.

Yelp
Great vibes and service. The appetizers were good but the hamburger was excessively over salted and was not that great. Not a horrible place to go but would think twice since they have a relatively small menu for food options.

Hrishikesh D.

Yelp
Nice place with good cocktails. The food wasn't that great. Way too much salt in the pork belly. Maybe it was an off day. It does look like a nice date spot though in an area where good cocktail bars are rare to find.. the staff were pretty friendly. Will prob give it another try

Timo R.

Yelp
We went to the Blind Pig kitchen and I was not really sure what we were going to get. The menu seems different and modern. We went there for brunch and their lunch menu features mainly sandwiches. We had their Cubano sandwich, Italian salad, Mac n cheese and deviled eggs. The Mac n cheese is absolutely amazing, definitely a must. The deviled eggs for me were quite average and I wouldn't order them again. The Italian salad was good, I ordered half the portion and it was still a good size salad. For drinks I tried their Kermit the frog and draft Palomas. The Kermit the frog was pretty standard, I did enjoy the Paloma a lot. Ideally, I would give this place four stars but the service was impeccable. The host that greeted us was great and our waiter Luana (I hope I spelled it correctly) was incredible. I added an extra star just for the service. We will return for dinner soon!

Jessica C.

Yelp
I first tried Blind Pig for HH on a Friday, and I loved it so much that I brought my husband in to try it the very next day! The service was fantastic during both visits, and the appetizers were delicious and filling. We tried the fries, deviled eggs, and the burger. The burger and fries were phenomenal! The old fashioned cocktail was potent and probably my favorite out of the 3 I ordered. From the menu, there was a pink lemonade as well as an oatmeal cocktail I tried that were not as good. Reservations are a must for dinner because it gets busy with the live music on Friday and Saturday nights. We were told we had to leave by 6:45pm since all tables were booked. HH Tues-Fri 4pm-6pm and on weekends from 3pm-5pm.

Yelp
We've been going to The Blind Pig Kitchen + Bar for years since they opened. We love going for any occasion, happy hour, date night, girls night out, celebrations, just because and the service and food quality has always been amazing. Last night we went to celebrate Valentine's Day and we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing pre fixe menu! Everything on the menu was delicious! We are foodies and the chef here is so creative that I had to look at the ingredients in the menu to figure out what some of the flavors were! So unique, so creative, so tasty. The service was exceptional, they go above and beyond to ensure your experience is no short of excellent. Multiple servers, even the manager worked hard to clear dishes and keep your drinks refilled so no time has passed before your next course. Everyone that works there genuinely look like they enjoy being there and serving customers. The restaurant itself is set up really nicely, love the decor, table set ups and vibe.

Robert P.

Yelp
My guests were charming, literate, and provocative, and we drank Oban scotch like it was coming out of a faucet, so that may account for an inflated rating (and $$$$ bar bill). But I really like Blind Pig. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching skilled bartenders work. I watch Bar Rescue every day at lunch so I know bartending (a little). Our meal was all appetizers. Handcut fries (3***), ordinary. Not duck fat fries, too little salt, not real crispy. Edaname (4****). Spicy and hot. Chicken Karaage (4****). Would get a 5th star if more flavor like Korean Chicken . Pork Tenderloin Boats (4****). More interesting than good, but very interesting. Bar stools (3***). My fanny disappeared after 1 hour. Ambiance was the star, 5*****. Will be back!

Kristie L.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this spot. The name of the restaurant is cute. The ambiance inside is moody and dark but the patio looked light and airy. The service was pretty terrible on all accounts - the server, what appeared to be a manager who popped by and the saving grace was the kindness of the hostesses. The food was hit or miss. It's all kind of expensive for what it is. Burger for $22 should come out medium - no pinkness inside at all and if anything, really really over cooked and dry.

Cynthia K.

Yelp
Good ambiance. Great service. Satisfactory cocktails. Generous portions. Terrible Food. Everything was over salted. The Shrimp Sandwich had 4 med shrimps w mayo and lettuce and a ton of soft chewy ciabatta roll. The chicken piccata was the worst. Big chunks of dry breast w a goopy tasteless risotto on the side. I didn't find a mushroom. The cheese on the French onion soup was delish. Crusty and melty but the broth was inedible. Won't return. Sad.

Dani W.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance, happy hour 7 days a week and a good variety of dishes. The burrata is to die for, they have fresh pasta and they use high quality ingredients. Highly recommend

Arnold T.

Yelp
Went with some friends on a Sunday night to this restaurant. It's great for hanging out and catching up. There is outside covered patio seating with heat lamps and an indoor section with a modern feel. Seating was quick despite having no reservations and the wait staff was attentive and quick to refill drinks. Orders were: the braised beef shank tacos ($22) and chicken piccata ($27). The tacos were tasty and I wanted to eat more than what was given. The piccata was rich and buttery. I would come back when I'm looking for a relaxing evening with friends.

Carol L.

Yelp
Love the ambience as well as the food and service. They have a great happy hour and there's signature cocktails are yummy. Great place to have steak or fish.

Diane W.

Yelp
Best Birthday Ever! Thank you, Chris for everything you went over and beyond made me feel like family. It was a wonderful experience.

Gracie L.

Yelp
First time here with my husband. We've eaten food all over the world. I had high expectations for this place since the concept looks good and the reviews were high, but we both were so disappointed that the food were bad. Ordered 4 dishes and none of them was good. So sad. Service was decent so we still tipped well but we left the restaurant knowing we won't come back again.

Cindy S.

Yelp
I ordered the cheeseburger. It was perfection. I ordered a cocktail. It was perfection. I ordered the deviled eggs that everyone recommended they were awesome! Would highly recommend to come here also the ambience is lovely and they play great music! We were seated as soon as we walked in and the server came to us really quickly after we sat down so as far as service goes, it was perfect in my books

Michael V.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite and drink. I was alone so i sat down at the bar. The food was good, not great. The craft cocktail was strong and tasted good. The noise level was a little high but not so loud as to prevent conversation. It was a weeknight and the blind pig closed fairly early, I want to say at 8PM. I realized that the dining room was emptying out quickly and there were only a few people left at the bar. The staff were busy cleaning up the house and preparing for opening the next day. So I paid my tab and left, had they stayed open a little longer I would have had a second drink. That being said I appreciate the staff wanting to get home and close up at the end of the day. Furthermore I didn't feel rushed to leave nor did anyone push me to hurry up or finish my servings.

Blanca D.

Yelp
We are new to the area and found The Blind Pig and so happy we did! We've already been in 3-4 times, and all have been a great experience. We've tried different items on their menu and honestly the food is very GOOD! The deviled eggs and the chicken karaage are delicious. We've also tried several other things, our top are the crispy chicken sandwich, bucatini pasta, also the baked mac n cheese is a favorite. The drinks are really good, and the vibe in this place is exactly what we were looking for. We do recommend this place! Casual atmosphere, TV's to watch games, good food and great service.

Melody R.

Yelp
First time here for brunch on a Sunday. Didn't get to go inside at all because our friends were already seated on a tented table outside. Our server was nice but didn't seem to want to be bothered too much. She did recommend a few things and was patient when we weren't ready, since we were catching up. Pretty nice variety of dishes. I ordered the scallion wrap, very good but difficult to eat. It comes apart so I eat the second half with a fork and knife. My fiancé really enjoyed the Machaca skillet. But I would've had more of those Deviled Eggs, they were a perfect balance of savory and spicy. All the cocktails were very good! The "Dam Good Margarita" was perfectly described by the name but Tristes Tigres was my favorite. I would love to try it again but with Mezcal instead. We would love to come back again, maybe dinner next time and explore the rest of the menu.

Michael B.

Yelp
The vibe is more of a local place to be seen than a dining destination. Service was very good, the food was okay albeit on the pricey side, the ambiance was on the darker side and more date night oriented. The night we went, the crowd is largely Boomers.

Lizette D.

Yelp
Gillian was amazing! The drinks were on top! What a great night with my husband, daughter and son-in-law! Lovely vibe!!!

K C.

Yelp
Went right before happy hour ended and they have a good hh selection. Chicken karaage, shishito peppers, papas, edamame were good. Wings were decent.

Deanne A.

Yelp
Food is amazing. I'm stuck on the Cobb Salad, the kimchi fried rice and the pasta, but everything is so good. The bar is their shining light. Excellent cocktails. Lucas the bartender is phenomenal My only conn is it's always so dammed freezing inside. I asked other guests and they agreed. I always must bring a sweater and even with that, it's cold. Turn down the A/C Until then I'll continue to dress as though it's winter.

Jody R.

Yelp
It's impossible maybe post-pandemic to make your reservations on Instagram and then the restaurant wasn't told from Instagram that it's a Birthday celebration. I asked the Instagram person if there was a Birthday treat available and they said yes. The server forgot or didn't know.... So I asked again and we did receive it:) Not the biggest deal because I understand how difficult it is for apps to jive with the business itself. It's going to take time. The food was good. I recommend the French onion soup. The fries that I stole from my son and husband were unusually good. Peanut oil ? Their burgers were fabulous. I don't recommend the Mac and cheese because there seemed to be bits of "Spam" cubes in there. The pasta was a bit too hard as well. The sauce and toppings were amazing. A great Birthday experience overall.

Brian W.

Yelp
First, I'm happy to be back yelping, I had a lot going with a move and didn't post very much. But im back!! And I also want to thank everyone who helped me gain a yelp award...from the places I review to anyone who reads, thank you!! Look for my TV show, and web series coming soon, I'll update with details. Now...to the Blind Pig. I wanted to love this place. And I dont dislike it, but it just didn't quite do it for me. First, great staff, nice atmosphere, and a really eclectic menu. But the latter can be a good thing or a bad thing. The portions were also very generous which is always appreciated. Chicken karaage: definitely the best dish that I had. Really nicely fried, tender chicken, and finally a good platform for shishito peppers, which are essentially flavorless but somehow become its own trendy appetizer. Papa's bravas: had its good and its bad points. The chorizo was good and plenty of it, went nicely with the potatoes...but the cheese combination was bizarre. It didn't seem like queso Oaxaca...I dont think they're lying, but it had a..."im trying to hard to make a grilled cheese different" flavor. And I know this is Cali, but avocado aioli does not need to be on everything. Aioli is just mayo for people who don't are embarrassed to admit their love for mayo. Caprese buratta: this just lacked flavor. I love Burrata, but it just wasn't noticeable flavorwise. Kimchi fried rice: maybe a little too kimchi flavored for me at first, but honestly, really good fried rice, amazing with the karaage chicken mixed in and was great as a leftover with the addition of some soy sauce. Cocktails: now this is my fault. I should no better than to order signature cocktails at any restaurant. They're sweet and void of alcohol. All "cock" no "tail." Not sure if that saying makes sense but I didn't want you say that signature cocktails don't have enough cock for me. So, a reminder, in this context "cock" = sweet, non alcoholic filler, and "tail" means alcohol. I like a buzz from my drinks. Patent pending on my "all cock, no tail" phrase. They weren't bad signatures cocktails, but again, if u like booze, order like a Rob Roy, or martini. Overall, this place deserves a second chance. But I was a little disappointed.

Bob R.

Yelp
It looked like a great place to meet a friend as a half way spot for lunch, but unfortunately after traveling 45 minutes we found that their hours on their website and yelp were not accurate. How hard is it to keep your information up to date? After no one answered their phone and no message machine, I reached out to their RSM location and sadly the person who answered had no clue either. Kudos to management.

Belgica V.

Yelp
Great Service, our server was very friendly and attentive. She always checked on us for drinks. The food was good, I really enjoyed the Burrata with the bread. We also order the French Onion soup, for me was a little bit salty but my husband enjoyed at lot more. I ordered the Duck Sopes, they taste delicious

Krists K.

Yelp
Our server was so helpful and energetic! She seemed to enjoy working there and enthusiastically answered all our questions! The outside patio was comfortable and easy to have a conversation!! We enjoyed a relaxing time!! We split the Italian Chopped Salad which was delicious and a good portion even when split. Our table shared the Brussel sprouts- yummy!!

Sabrina N.

Yelp
Service is hit or miss but drinks and cocktails are good. Would recommend. Chicken karage is literally the best.

Audrey K.

Yelp
We came at 4 and were told we could still order off the lunch menu because it was a close call but we chose to stick with the limited happy hour menu. We appreciated the offer and were happy with our decision. For happy hour we got fries, 1/2 Cobb salad, chicken kaarage and a few drinks. The chicken kaarage could easily feed 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are. There were over 10 huge pieces of chicken!! The 1/2 cobb salad is perfect for one but it was very lightly dressed and didn't have enough blue cheese on it for me. The fries were good too, wish they had a little more crisp but there was a lot so it was more quantity over quality. I tried 3 different beers, they said they change beers every week so be sure to check online before ordering or visiting. They had 3 different IPAs on draft which was nice variety. My friend got a cocktail and it was pretty strong. Also $3 off for happy hour I believe. Overall, I can see myself coming back for a little convenient lunch for happy hour. I'd probably go with the same order and lose the fries.

Erik P.

Yelp
Was out in Anaheim Hills and needed to eat, had this placed bookmarked and decided to check it out. Location - In a new complex area but place was dead and almost looked closed, had to walk up and verify it was opened. Service - Sat at the bar so service even then was a bit slow and still had to flag down the bartender twice to get refills and the bill. Venue - Very clean, modern and spacious with indoor and outdoor dining options. Drinks - Great selection of liquor and well made drinks. Food - Decent size portions and the food quality isn't bad at all. Overall pretty chill place and would consider coming back again.

Yelp
The restaurant in Yorba Linda is cute and cozy. The staff is friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the food is a disaster. We ordered bruschetta and the toast was absolutely sopping wet. Kind of disgusting. We also got an order of deviled eggs which were probably peeled a few days ago or maybe were purchased as already peeled. They were rubbery. I ordered the bucatini and the pasta was terribly undercooked. It wasn't al dente, it was crispy. The tiny meatballs were dry and tasteless.

Katie V.

Yelp
Service was great, food and drinks not so much. Our cocktails were disgusting, I ordered the crab catcher and tasted like bad tequila. Husband ordered a John Dailey in hopes of their handmade lemonade but he couldn't finish it and this his is normal, Arnold Palmer and vodka and it was just horrible. Edamames are amazing! The classic burger bun was super thick and tough which made it hard to chew. The meat wasn't great either, "it's really weird" the French fries that cost extra were great! Chicken Piccata was so moist, juicy, tender and delicious. The mushroom risotto had no flavor and no seasoning. Our bill was $110 and my husband asked if we could stop at In N out on the way home.

Grant H.

Yelp
The Blind Pig is fine. I've been a couple of times and the food and drinks are good, but it's nothing really to write home about. The best thing I've had at The Blind Pig is The Billionaire. It's rum and gin with lime, apricot liquor, and grenadine. It's absolutely delicious. Most recently I showed up in time for happy hour and got the Deviled Eggs. Deviled eggs are good, but the chorizo crumble on top made for an odd texture pairing and the jalapeño slice is a bit overpowering. For my main I got the Braised Short Rib Tacos. They were good but messy, and a bit too much sour cream. While the food is good, the ambiance and service leave a bit to be desired. I'm fairly sure it took as long to pay my check as it took to eat my food and the men's room was out of paper towels. Also, from where I was sitting, there was a TV in every direction I looked. No restaurant even a little nice should have TVs where they can be seen from the dining area. The Bling Pig is a fine place to go before a movie, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Paula L.

Yelp
Great place and even better service! Thanks to Jill we had an amazing date night! Highly recommend the House Margarita with Tajin

Yelp
First Review for The Blind Pig, second time dining experience here. Came in last Friday night for Galentines with my girlfriends. We made reservations ahead for outdoor seating as there is usually LIVE music on Fridays & Saturdays. On my first time, I vaguely recall, but it was in the summer of 2021, we sat outdoors and the LIVE music was going on and we could see and hear it. I was disappointed that the music was only playing indoors this time, perhaps because it's winter they had the doors closed and that's why outdoor diners could not enjoy the live music. Indoors was full capacity so sadly we could not opt for indoor seating that evening. We sat outdoors and the heated lamps kept us warm on this chilly night. We decided to order sharable food items as we are a group a gals who enjoy variety. I had highly recommended the burrata to my friends because when I had come the first time the burrata was the star of the meal for me. It was baked with cherry tomatos and drizzled with a delicious balsamic reduction. I still drool just recalling how divine it was... The burrata we got this time was a sweeter version with baked pears and a habanero honey, it was decent but nothing in comparison to the summer burrata, I don't know why it's no longer on the menu. It's the reason I wanted to come back to eat at the Blind Pig. Other dishes we ordered were the blistered shishito peppers, braised beef shank tacos, risotto & scallops, duck Sopes & kimchi rice. Shishito peppers were seasoned well with what seems like a lime chili rub, like Tajin and the dipping sauce we a bacon flavor creamy sauce. Tacos were ok, no distinct flavor that got me a wanting more. The duck Sopes were good, I loved that the masa was soft... I've eaten some that are pretty dense! The risotto was packed with flavor and scallops were cooked well... really enjoyed eating this dish... anything with mushroom flavor. The kimchi rice was dry and didn't have much taste. To be honest, I was actually not expecting much from the kimchi rice as it is not a Korean restaurant. We also order some drinks. I ordered the freaky Friday. It was bitter for my liking... but I still drank all of it as it was very strong. If you are interested in trying out Blind Pig... please do no sit outdoors. We wanted to sit outdoors to enjoy the fresh air... it was beyond unpleasant. There is a sewer line close by and the smell would just blow out every few minutes. The smell was very pungent and as the night went on it just got stronger and stronger. It was really difficult to carry a conversation or enjoy the meal with the smell. We did bring it to the severs attention and there was a manager that asked what's going on. We explained to them how the smell is awful. They did apologize and explain to us about the sewer line. But the whole purpose of eating out is for the ambience and this was definitely a BUZZ KILL. Low star rating is really because that smell was unbearable. I was shocked that they didn't compensate us for the inconvenience. Not sure if I would want to come back....

Yelp
Had dinner here this week for my birthday, it was really good! We had reservations, but they were not needed on a Wednesday night. Wednesday happens to be 1/2 off glasses of wine (and select bottles), 1/2 off whiskey cocktails, and their prime rib night. I'm happy my birthday fell on a Wednesday! We started with their deviled eggs, which are topped with pickled jalapeños and bacon crumbles. My husband liked them more than I did. I thought they could have used more seasoning and the bacon crumbles were too hard in my opinion. For dinner he had the Classic Cheeseburger with fries, and I had the prime rib special, served with garlic mashed potatoes, a creamy horseradish, and au jus. Dinner was great! His burger was delicious, and really big. He took half home. It was one of the better burgers we have tried in awhile! My prime rib was GREAT! HUGE piece of meat, cooked medium rare. Seasoning was perfection, the sauces that came with it were great. Potatoes were soft, fluffy and sooooo garlicky! I was very happy with my dinner, and happy to take a lot home for lunch the next day! We decided to get dessert and had their peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. We expected this to be ooey gooey like a pizookie, but it was just a really light, flakey cookie with some ice cream on top. It was tasty. Service was amazing, people checked on us constantly. I had two different wines, he had a beer and a cocktail, we liked our drinks. The only downside was we did feel kind of rushed. The service was so fast that we were done within an hour. If we hadn't ordered the cookie, we would have been out the door in about 45 minutes. It would have been nice to have more time to relax and enjoy everything. Better than super slow service though, for sure. This place is pretty, the bar is massive and looks like a cool place to hang out. Large outdoor area to sit as well. Bathrooms were very clean. We are looking forward to returning and trying more of their menu!
