Google
Date night with the wife! Lots of TVs if you want to watch while you eat! Seems like a family friendly. Service lacked a little bit, the waiter took our order and was busy with other tables, got up to find my own napkins….Wife complained there was no toilet paper in the ladies room. The wings and the sweet potato tators were really good! My drink was also good but wasn’t able to order another, it was hard to get someone to make eye contact but nonetheless I’ll probably be back even tho it’s a 30min from my crib

Dave R

Google
Bar really built for Sunday NFL football with TVs everywhere and huge selection of draft beers. Menu is large enough to cover most people's needs, but has a "generic sports bar" feel. Other options in the neighborhood better if you are looking for more than a place to watch the game.

Eric S.

Google
The food was fine but there are better places with the same style food right down the road. The service was slow on a night where only a few tables had people, and the waiter had to be reminded about drink orders multiple times. The staff seems like they don’t care too much about their job and it makes them come across as rude. Overall there is a laundry list of places I’d recommend over this place

Tawanna S.

Google
Food is okay, the service sucks really bad. The atmosphere and service was good at a point in time but I don’t know what happened over the years. Caucasians walked in and the energy and attitude changed to smiles. This was one of the worst services I experienced at Blind Rhino!! Would not recommend and won’t be back! Bartender Lexus was not customer friendly AT ALL!! This place has fallen off badly with good customer service!

Christian P.

Google
Stef G. did an exceptional job serving our table. He was prompt, listened and delivered a high quality experience. Well done, Stef. G!

Frank S.

Google
Decent food, great service, but expensive for what you get. We got two dozen wings of mixed flavors, and they were all very light on the flavoring. I had a hard time telling the difference between the sweet BBQ and apple cider wings, they both were good but only had a hint of flavor, you needed to really look for it. The wings were smaller than what you get at Buffalo Wild Wings. The service is fantastic, the wait staff were on top of things, friendly, and were very helpful. I knew the cost of the food before going in, but it ended up not being worth the price.

Google
We used to frequent here but the place is just downright dirty. The owners should look around; the dishwasher smells, the walls are dirty. Sit on the left side of the bar and look at the wall where you will also smell the dishwasher and see flies. My girl ordered a drink the the other day and the blue cheese stuffed peppers were fuzzy! Come on how can you serve this. Just because you have good wings doesn’t mean you can overlook the basics. Look in the silverware buckets in the tables, dirty! Will not be back here. Shame on you guys.

Black R.

Google
What happened to this place? They used to be consistently good but the quality has gone down. It's gross inside so I order for delivery mostly. The bean queso dip is usually pretty good and I always order it as a side to go with my wing order but the last two times I ordered it, it came with the consistency of milk. Go dip a chip in some milk and see how well that works. Whoever prepares it knows it is not right but they serve it anyway. Just looking at the other reviews recently shows a sinking ship.

Yelp
The Blind Rhino has to be one of my favorite spots for wings! It's the perfect sports bar with an insane amount of TVs, a great craft beer and cider selection, and good food. I always order the spicy buffalo wings, but there are truly so many flavor options to choose from. The hot honey wings are also delicious. They charge for a side of extra sauce though, which I find a little ridiculous. Their fries are the perfect mix of crispy and flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the buffalo chicken wrap but got it with a different sauce instead. He enjoyed it! While this is a great spot, the parking is horrible. There's very limited spots and all the parking lots nearby have towing signs. It's a huge risk, especially because i've seen people get towed on multiple occasions. It also gets really loud so it's tough to have a conversation - and if there's a football game on, forget it, you'll never hear one another.

Yelp
YES YES YES ! Best sports bar I've been to in a LONG time in CT. The atmosphere was great, soooo many TVs so that you aren't missing a moment of the best games. Food was spectacular as well, those wings are top 5 in the state (try the plum siracha) ! I'm a blue cheese girly and their blue cheese dipping sauce was amazing as well. Drinks were good too and the prices weren't bad. If you are looking for a sports bar, THIS IS IT

Yelp
I was planning a last minute, first ever, trip to legendary CT Wing Spot @blindrhinobar in Bridgeport. I used to chance orders when visiting new-to-me spots. Not anymore. Now, I leverage the expertise of the CT Foodie Community. So I reached out to the @wingaddicts for recommendations. The Wing is a Blank Canvas indeed. #iykyk . As luck would have it, they were traveling together from a Wing Visit and they sent me a group Voice Memo before I pulled into the Blind Rhino Parking Lot. They unanimously recommended Cherry Pepper Buffalo and Cacio e Pepe. I ordered 5 for $5 of each from the Happy Hour Menu. The Wing Addicts otherwise, each had their own favorites, and I went with Lemon Pepper Ranch. All of these wings were very good, but one is a new a CT favorite. Hold that thought. The wings themselves were meaty. Had very good inside and outside texture. The blue cheese and ranch were both good. Back to the sauce. The Cacio e Pepe sauce was amazing. So good, I prefer Blind Rhino's sauce to the vast majority of Italian restaurants where I've had Cacio e Pepe pasta. Not a joke. It was creamy, cheesy, peppery and a bit lemony. All the flavors in perfect balance. Amazing. The other sauces were very good and well executed. They tasted like they sound. The atmosphere was fun. There is both inside and outside seating. People talked to each other. Service was effecient and friendly. I keep an unofficial Top Tier Wing spot in CT List. Only about a handful of spots are presently there. I've only been to Blind Rhino once. But it's presumptive Top Tier based on this visit. Five Stars

Yelp
If you are looking for a venue to have a party, The Blind Rhino is THAT place. This venue is extremely accommodating when it comes to reserving tables and the staff is super friendly. I've never had a bad experience. During food serving hours they have plenty seating with seating outdoors as well. When I go in I never have to worry about being seated somewhere where I can't watch a game. During game times they have a good balance of games across all of their TVs throughout the bar. Oh did I mention that The Blind Rhino does GOOD FOOD. A lot of sport bars will have food menus, but its more of a secondary thought than a core focus. Not The Blind Rhino. In fact, I was 1st introduce to their food at a brewery from one of their food trucks. In my opinion, you don't put your food on the road unless you are confident of its quality. Seriously. I don't think I've eaten one bad thing off their menu (I've had their Wings, Sloppy Joe Potato Skins , Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Sweet Potato Tots, Pork Sliders) anytime I've eaten at this location or from any of their food trucks. Plus, they always have a good selection of craft beers on tap so you don't have to be let down like I am sometimes at other restaurants. I strongly recommend The Blind Rhino for dinner with the family or for a weekend late night out with friends.

Yelp
We came here for the wings, which are great, with plenty of flavors to choose from, as well as the portion of Cajun fries. We chose the Jamie's hot honey, Cajun dry rub, plumb sriracha, honey buffalo & smoked chile dry rub. The choice of flavors with the wings is definitely a winner. The atmosphere, and service however are a bit bland. We will be back, but it may be for pick up.

Yelp
Went yesterday with my wife to watch some Sunday football, feel very bad for the manager as I felt she was doing her all to make our experience great. But the server we had, walked by our table 6/7 times, never offered a refill, burger we got looked terrible (see photo), and messed up my wife's drunk each time to where we had to go to the bar to fix every time. Enjoyed the event they had going on with modelo, but the service can use some Assistance!
google avatar

Yvonne H.

Yelp
They had many wing flavors- we tried 3 flavors which were pretty good. We also ordered the fries which had too much seasoning and parmesan cheese. The Sangria on special tasted off not good at all. All in all wings were good everything else was just ok. It was a busy night we sat ourselves. The server was fine nothing above or below expectations. This is a sports bar with many tvs. I've visited this location twice but would only go back for the wings to go.
google avatar

Raymond B.

Yelp
The staff was very nice but the food was just OK and the kitchen was slow getting our food out. A great place to watch a game, have a few beers and maybe some wings & nachos but not a dining destination
google avatar

Christy K.

Yelp
The Cheesesteak and Orange chipotle wings were excellent. The cider was delicious and the fries and hot honey wings were good, as well. The outdoor seating area was a nice area.
google avatar

Daniella M.

Yelp
Can't believe I haven't been here before! A chill spot with tvs all over ready to watch every game. Came here originally just for drinks but the menu had some good options so we got food and I'm glad we did! The cheesesteak egg rolls were delicious. I also really liked the nachos. The espresso martini and the winter sangria were both very good. The bartender was friendly

Yelp
First time here. We got there before 6 so ordered happy hour wings 5 for 5. My son enjoyed them. We then ordered the cheese steak egg rolls and pretzel. everything was good but slow with our food an only one waitress and it got busy after 6, The reason I only gave 3 stars is we ordered California club wrap which came with grilled chicken and I asked could I have crispy the waitress said we can do that. hand cut fries were also good. when the bill came they charged us an extra $4 for the crispy chicken I was shocked.I have been to many restaurants and never charge extra for grill to crispy. The sandwich wasn't worth $20 and didn't even have a lot of chicken in it. I don't think I will be back again even if the food was good.
google avatar

Stephen B.

Yelp
I came here because i seen an Instagram video of the wings and they did not dissapoint. The wings were cooked perfectly, with the right amount of sauce. The cajin fries was definitely a great pairing. Service was good as well. Itnwas crowded and loud because the games were on but that did not pose an issue.

Tarren H.

Yelp
Honestly the service isn't worth the food. Nastiest people I've met in a while. I hope they are able to provide better service. The food was ok...will probably take the time to drive to Norwalk. Won't return again 2/10 rating. Do better blind rhino.

James N.

Yelp
Called on a Friday night at 8pm and they won't accept a takeout order. Terrible service and actually last time the fries were ice cold and undercooked. Best to support other business that accept orders.
google avatar

Missy A.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and drinks! For drinks I had a Moscow mule, which was good. We also did a pickle back shot, the pickle juice was sweet which I didn't like. For lunch, I ordered the steak fajita wrap. I think the steak may have been some kind of steak-um meat, atleast that's how it tasted to me. Also needed more seasoning. It was ok, nothing special. I ordered Cajun fries and wow did they put alot of seasoning on the fries. Definitely overwhelming. The service was ok, our server got lost a few times, and it wasn't that busy. It's a sports bar so this is a nice spot for maybe apps and drinks!
google avatar

Diana Q.

Yelp
I came here with my family for a 50-cent wing deal and had a great time! The wings do take a little bit to cook, but they are super fresh and pretty high quality! This is a pretty great spot to just hang out and unwind with friends. The pork nachos were also very good.
google avatar

William R.

Yelp
Fifty. Cent. Wings. Need I say more? I suppose I can rate the wings using the customary metrics: meat quality, juicyness, and sauce flavor. Actually each of these gets a solid B+ so that makes it easy! Not the highest rated wings in the world but hey, they are fifty cents what did you expect!? Note this is a promotional price. I think it might be weekly but I'm not sure. It's worth mentioning that the celery and carrots that come with the wings were very crispy and fresh. We fed eight people, including drinks, for $150 before tip. Not bad! The drink selection is excellent. I ordered a Manhattan and it came out just right. I really want to go back and get more wings. I heard their wings have won many awards so I'm wondering if they will beat the B rating I gave them next time...

Yelp
Second time eating here and the food is great! I was a little nervous about going with just my two kids, as it is a little dive bar looking. When we were seated, the room was actually half kids, mostly younger than mine. Service was great. The food was slow to come out, but our waitress kept checking on us, so I know it wasn't her fault. I had a steak and cheese, which was probably the best I've ever had. My son had the steak fajita wrap, which was also great. We all loved the fries. Great list of beers on tap as well. The only reason for the loss of one star is the dive bar atmosphere.

Chantel M.

Yelp
Food was delicious. We got a variety of wings to share. My dad got the classic rhino burger which he said was delicious, very juicy and flavorful. Service was great, multiple people checked in on us, providing us with refills and making sure we had enough napkins for all our wings. We went at 4:30 on a Saturday so not very busy at that time. We did make reservations just in case

Yelp
First of all, can we talk about the logo and the name? The Blind Rhino? That's such a cool name, and I love the Rhino logo! I am fortunate enough that this place is in my neighborhood, and I can just walk over there. I've gotten food from them twice now. This recent one was just for me, carry-out. The packaging was fantastic. Napkin, fork, knife and a wet napkin for wings. Nothing moved or fell out of place on my walk home. I ordered a bunch of things: Fried Pickle Chips - those are simple, but Black Rhino's ones are the best ones I've had. Cheese Steak Eggrolls - second time getting these, and they are amazing! Flavorful and delicious! 6 wings with Peach Guava Hot Honey finish - tried a new flavor this time, and really liked it. Shepard's Pie Empanadas - I ordered these out of curiosity. Two empanadas came on the bed of mashed potatoes. The empanada by itself was delicious, but honestly mashed potatoes were wasted on me. Definitely will be back, my goal is to try all of the wings flavors.

Yelp
Last time I went must have been on off night because this time I went I loved everything. We love the spicy Buffalo wings and we ALWAYS get the mcrhino burger, there's something special about to! Like the most amazing Big Mac. We actually had it as an app. I also got the crispy chicken sandwich which was very good, had like a maple chipotle sauce. If I had more room we would have been split the sweet potato tots which are one of my fav things. Service is fast and efficient! MILLION TVS. this is one of my favorite restaurants it's just so easy and good. I'd like them to work on their cocktails. I'd read the description on the specials and it never comes as described! That's happened the last few times, this past time the seasonal sangria was supposed to have some fruit in it but didn't. Not as enjoyable.

Alyssa Z.

Yelp
We love trivia night at the Blind Rhino. Standouts are the nachos and boneless wings! We always have great service too!
google avatar

Fabio C.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and service. Wing were nice seasoned, hot and fresh( congrats to chef) Manager very nice. Great place to watch sports and hangout. Small but nice parking space.

Ellen D.

Yelp
Sweet potato tater tots were great. Lots of choices for wings sauce. Nice atmosphere before thanksgiving holiday.

Raymond C.

Yelp
Trying to be a dive bar? Always LOUD. Unless loud is a good thing. more tv's playing the samd thing than needed. But here's the thing: I actually, kindof, sometimes, like the place. The wings are very good. good salad. Went there last night, sat in seperate room for a little quiet. ordered two meals. 45 minutes later spoke a bit loudly, to get over the general vollume, asking a young man to check on our order....After saying, sorry for getting your attention loudly, for reason stated. A minute later the assist mgr. comes in yelling at ys about how to address the help. Did not hear or know the exhamge, so running on assumptions like some kind of mama bear. Don't know if the you g man was feelings hurt, but, she created a scene. Told her to take a hike. Another ten or so minutes, went to bar to ask again if she canceled order or what. Now the real manager comes by to ask what our hurry was in speaking to staff blah blah blah...said order ticket just went in 10 minutes ago, 50 minutes later. Moral of the story, is the plCe is too loud and you should not try to talk over the noise to ask about your order or you could end up in a bar fight just trying to get your order. Which we don't want, but, don't run from. Puffed up bouncer type and locals drinking at the bar now discussing our attempt to get fed. $31 dollars for too many fries, a burger and Cuban sandwich, still gave a %20 tip. They deserved a zero that night.
google avatar

Jonathan Z.

Yelp
Went for a co-worker's going away party. Good selection of beer. Had pulled pork sliders, which were really tasty. Parking was a little tough.
google avatar

Heather K.

Yelp
We got there at 10:30, bar side was crowded, and we got seated where there were tables. Waited 10 minutes for someone to realize we were there. Great service, comped our drinks for making us wait, and the wings and fries were INCREDIBLE!!! Good atmosphere, good music, great experience.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
We got takeout from here on Saturday night after some positive local press. It was really good! I have a gluten allergy so before ordering I emailed the restaurant for more info. The owner replied and mentioned he's celiac so he takes gf restrictions seriously. While there is no dedicated gf fryer and thus the award winning wings are out of the question for the gf sensitive among us, there are other great gf options to tide us over. My wife (not gf) got the wings and I got the grilled chicken sandwich on a gf bun (Udis). The chicken sandwich was delicious and I would definitely order from here again. A special shout out to Casey for the menu help!

Philip J.

Yelp
Very good sports bar. TVs everywhere. Good size place. Was there for Knicks playoff game, and the place was busy and full of fans. The food was good. Had the Buffalo wings, and they were very good. I liked the Philly cheese steak egg rolls. Very extensive beer menu, but it's way too heavy on IPAs for my taste. But we all found drinks we liked. Overall Very good experience except for the result of the game.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
I am so happy that we found this spot. Great atmosphere, service was great and the wings were amazing. The Garlic Parm sauce in particular was FANTASTIC. I got a chicken sandwich and my husband got a burger. Both were pretty good, but the winner was by far the wings. They were very knowledgeable about what is and is no gluten free. Overall great experience, we will 100% be back.

Brennan K.

Yelp
Food is decent, beer is decent, but I've been twice and both times have been some of worst service I've ever encountered. Big thumbs down
google avatar

Wingaddicts ..

Yelp
This place is solid gold! From the management, to the service, to the atmosphere and right on down (or up) to the food! While the entire menu looks amazing, we devoured eight different flavors of chicken wings. Their hot buffalo and garlic parm have won national competitions, their cherry pepper buffalo, togarashi brown sugar, and plum Sriracha were amazing new flavor profiles, and their cajun dry rub, maple chipotle, and mango habanero were as good as we've had anywhere. And we've been EVERYWHERE! A-plus on Blind Rhino!
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Good place to go to after work for a drink and food. Good place for wings. Salad also was really good.
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
There is so much to like about this restaurant that already has a successful model at their Norwalk location. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, with a nice mix of the more traditional burgers to lettuce wraps, yuca fries and sweet potato tots. The happy hour menu from 4-7 is great, with $5 drinks and $5 decently portioned nachos, wings, etc. I really enjoy the outdoor patio area with bocce. They have TVs everywhere. Great addition to black rock.

Ramesh K.

Yelp
Went to Blind Rhino with a group of friends for the first time to watch a NFL game. Inspite of a large crowd, the server was efficient, food came out on time and was hot. Beer pitchers came out quickly too. Onion Rings were awesome. Will make it a place to go with friends for casual outings too.
google avatar

Sara O.

Yelp
We were in town to help our kiddo move to a new apartment. We searched Yelp for a sports bar and found the Blind Rhino. We had some delicious wings, cold beers, and great service!!!!! We were able to rejuvenate and watch our Iowa Hawkeyes win their bow game. Great atmosphere!
google avatar

Shane M.

Yelp
Stick with their wings!! I had the Togarashi Brown Sugar flavor and they were great. However, this is where the evening took a turn for the worse. I saw a picture of their Cheesesteak on their Instagram page and it literally made me drive 30 min to the Blind Rhino that same night to order one. What I received was a cheap imitation of what was on their Instagram page. The Cheesesteak was extremely dry , very little cheese , and lacking all the flavor I was anticipating on my drive to the Blind Rhino. I'll include a picture of what I thought I was getting and what was actually served to me. It's a shame as I really wanted to give this establishment a good review. The wings were solid and will return just for those.

S R.

Yelp
The food was delicious, however the waitstaff is miserable! Would definitely order out from here again, but I would opt out of dining in.
google avatar

Timothy A.

Yelp
Trivia night was fun. We had burgers and wings. They were ok, different the. Normal wings so if you are looking for regular buffalo wings they are not for you. Wait staff was hit or miss, had to get up twice to get more drinks and to look for our bill. Great place to go have a beer and watch the games as there are many many TVs .
google avatar

Bridget D.

Yelp
Stopped here on a Tuesday night... review for seating at bar. Decor: so many TVs! This would be a great place for Sunday football and I cannot imagine not seeing a huge crowd come fall. Beer selection: was a bit surprised that the majority of the tap beer was from one local brewery. Guessing maybe tap takeover a few days prior. Otherwise, an amazing can list with tons of variety to meet everyone's likes. Food: menu had a good selection of bar foods. We ordered nachos, wings and sweet tater tots. The nachos had a lot of potential and with few more toppings to add flavor like tomato or jalapeño would make them great. Service: bartender was awesome and very attentive. Need more people was personal as her other places. This place has a lot of potential... best of luck!

Yelp
I gave this place one more chance and it's comical how bad the service is every time. This restaurant needs new ownership, new management, and new hiring practices. Simply terrible. Despite being nearly empty on the three occasions I've been to it, the bar staff and (presumably) the managers spend most of their time chatting with each other while the few customers who foolishly wandered into this place wait for their attention. There are several restaurants on Fairfield Ave that will give you a far superior dining experience, so pick one of those instead. Thank me later.
google avatar

Yelp
Pork nachos delivered BD absolutely no pork, I received tortilla chips with just a little bit of salsa for an item called "pork nachos"
google avatar

Kathy P.

Yelp
Amazing food, great drinks and awesome service. Great place to watch a game on a Sunday!!
google avatar

Brian Z.

Yelp
Great happy hour! The Old Fashioned is made with Buffalo Trace bourbon and Luxardo cherries. The real deal. Meg (bartender) is super nice and makes great drinks. We got the wings (honey buffalo) and Cheese dogs in a blanket. My wife and I will make this our regular Friday happy hour.

Dan W.

Yelp
It's 11:30 Wednesday June 29, and I was turned away cause business was slow. It's my birthday and I wanted to have a drink at at neighborhood bar...I was told to try going down the street
google avatar

Jason Y.

Yelp
Got take-out and the best bar food I've had in a while. Drove it home 15 minutes and still hot. Had the wings, nachos, steak&cheese eggrolls, and pretzel, and all great. Well packed, etc.
google avatar

KS B.

Yelp
Yummmm. Just ordered some wings and tater tots for delivery. Arrived super fast and OMG the sweet potato tots are amazing. Wings delish too. Will definitely be ordering from here again soon!

Jasmine H.

Yelp
I was having a good day until I went to here. Awful experience multiple times. One waitress with blue hair and glasses has been the absolute worse on multiple occasions. She was rude, disrespectful, and entirely made eating there terrible. Would never go back and will never recommend anyone to go there. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but this one women made the whole experience terrible multiple times. She should no longer work there.

Yelp
Place is great for watching tv but you can also take your family. As far as food goes, the garlic Parmesan wings were off the hook while the bbq were just eh. And the worst were the rumble jerk were flat out disgusting! The rest of our apps went the same. Nachos were good and the spinach artichoke spring rolls were excellent but the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower were also disgusting!
