"The Block in North Bethesda (967 Rose Avenue) is open everyday from noon to 9 p.m. for takeout, delivery, and indoor seating at half capacity. The Block’s original location, in Annandale, Virginia, has a similar setup. A D.C. outpost was about to open before COVID-19 reached the area, and for now only the Rose Ave. Bakery is operating there with weekly preorders." - Kalina Newman

Great Ambiance, Great Taste. The Block’ modern yet welcoming atmosphere set the stage for an amazing casual experience. The food was outstanding, especially the crispy teriyaki chicken from Kitch. Great music!

Fun food court with great selection. The sushi was ok. Salmon Skin Roll turned out to be the star. The dosa, however, was absolutely delicious!

Went during the happy hour. The speciality cocktail drinks were amazing, and the popcorn chicken in the bar, offered by Tiger King was fabulous ! Definitely recommend the Popcorn Chicken

Located in the back of The Block MD, is Kitch Hibachi and Noodle Bar. This is place just opened not too long ago. We went for dinner on Wednesday night. The menu has a good variety of options and we got a bit of everything: fried shrimp wontons, pan fried dumplings, steamed dumplings, sesame ball, bbq pork, teriyaki combo with lo mien and one with rice, wonton noodle soup and dumpling soup. Service was friendly and and food was ready pretty promptly. The portion sizes is pretty generous! All the items were pretty good, I love how the fried items were crispy. My favorite items is definitely the dumpling soup and the wonton noodles! They use a couple whole shrimps in each dumpling. The bbq pork was surprising too. While it is not considered authentic Chinese food, it hits the spot. I definitely recommend to check this place out.

Gorgeous decor but lackluster food offerings, mirroring most of Pike & Rose. I tried some egg rolls and spring rolls from the Anh-mazing Vietnamese Kitchen, and they were just ok. The egg rolls just tasted "fried", there was no other distinct flavor than the oil. The spring rolls with tofu were better, but still not very memorable. If this is an indicator of the rest of the food at this spot, it's not encouraging. I also grabbed a couple of rolls from Oma Sushi. The California roll looked like someone ran and grabbed it from Safeway, it was terrible. The Volcano roll (baked roll with spicy tuna, salmon, topped with spicy mayo sauce, eel sauce, sriracha sauce) was decent in comparison. I think I chose the wrong restaurants, the food from the Asian fusion BBQ Chicken spot looked better in hindsight. Maybe worth another try. Loved the seating options and all the floral decorations, great design.

Le Table de Chateau is a new spot that just opened up at the Block. It offers delicious and rich French fare. I went in with the intention to try as many of their dishes as possible. At the end of my sitting I had tried 5 different dishes. The Steak and Mushroom French Toast was a delicious, savory twist to the classic French brunch option. The Croque Madame was the highlight of the meal. The bread was soft inside and crispy on the outside--all the elements of the sandwich were balanced perfectly. Chef Max has mastered the art of delicious fast-casual French food. Other dishes to try are the Steak and Mushroom Crepes, the Nutella French Toast, and the Strawberry Créme Cheese Crepes.

Really cool spot we stumbled upon. Different Asian themed food (with one taco spot) in an "L" shape around a medium sized bar. Food was excellent...did not patronize the bar. - Update, favorite restaurant closed and the new one was 😑

Absolutely love this place. The music is great, they have a DJ on certain nights. It’s a food hall so you pick what you want to eat, I would recommend little miners tacos, it’s *chefs kiss*. The bar is excellent. Great drinks and perfect service. Very social, very interactive staff. Perfect place for an outing in you’re ever in the area.
