Came in from out of town, and this place was great! Food was delicious (and they even had a lot of vegan options if you prefer). Whitney was behind the bar, and she was super! The patio area was spacious and allowed me to enjoy my food and beverages while enjoying the gorgeous weather. I loved the mural and the 90s vibes. Will definitely revisit! 5 stars all around.

I come to Blok Bar almost every Sunday for karaoke. Adam, the karaoke host, always makes sure everyone has a great time! They don’t allow smoking indoors, but offer plenty of outdoor patio seating. (As a non-smoker, I was happy to find a go-to karaoke spot that’s not smoky). They have a decent beer selection and as a vegetarian I appreciate that they are able to make vegan versions of all menu items. Overall, this is a nice place to hang out, and the staff and customers are always friendly.

Very cute bar and great city atmosphere. Food was delicious and it's full of vegan options too. They have signature drinks and classics. I ordered a lemon drop and our work group tried the tots and nachos - both were delicious! Highly recommend! Edit: went back on a different night and they also have karaoke! It was super fun!

As unfortunate as this is, I feel like I have to make this review. As a local that lives right next to the blok. I have become a regular and have gotten to know the staff. I come in Wednesday night to a completely new bartender “Whitney”. I walked in and was immediately scowled by “Whitney” asking for my id instead of a greeting or welcome. I immediately had regrets of stepping in, but gave her a chance. My cocktails were bland, poorly mixed. And her overall attitude ruined my experience to which I probably will not return. I understand that they’re is new staff but “Whitney” should be serving at a different bar. The blok was known for its hospitable vibes and now it feels like that is all gone.

Cool little place. Very hot. Chairs were uncomfortable and bench seats were ripped and sharp. Ordering is a pain because you order in the same spot that the food runners go in and out so you're constantly having to move out of the way. Drinks have really fun names and are pretty good.

Love this bar that has disco vibes and skeletons. The food was tasty, especially the chicken sandwich and tots. Occasionally they'll do karaoke nights. Good spot to checkout.

For a bar, I cannot believe how good the food is. The staff is always fun and friendly. I was also stunned by how tidy they keep the bathrooms! The karaoke guy is really hot too (call me!!!)

Loved the atmosphere and the food was great I got the Vegan Okie Burger and I am stuffed. We also tried the loaded vegan fries that was bomb! Only thing we didn’t like was that it was dogs everywhere. Dog hair got in my husbands drink twice and the people were letting there dogs roam around no leash but other than that I’ll definitely come back . Great Food and atmosphere!

For vegans: They can swap most of what's on the menu for what I think was a seitan protein substitute. Ask for sauce/ dressings on the sides as I wasn't sure if these were purely vegan, seemed like they may have had mayo/ dairy ingredients. I ate them anyway as I'm not a total purist and don't like to fuss. Also friendly service and good vibes.

I love coming to the Blok for some snacks and drinks. It's not a huge bar but there is some outside seating and it's nice to sit outside and bring my dog. I love the quesadillas and fries and the drinks are so good too. Service is always great. A great spot for drinks!

I'm here every Sunday for karaoke night. The karaoke host always makes sure everyone has a great time! As a vegetarian, I appreciate the fact that anything on the menu can be made vegan. Drinks are affordable and the staff and customers are friendly. When the weather is nice, there is plenty of seating on the patio. Overall, it's a nice little place to eat and have a few drinks.

Food and service were so good. The fall drink with cinnamon and orange was super yummy. We got a crunch wrap, nachos, and wings. Everything was a 10/10. A bit pricey but worth it especially during happy hour!

The drinks here were really good and we enjoyed the food a lot. Our bartender was nice. It's got a funky atmosphere which was fun. Karaoke got LOUD though. It's a small space. I don't think it needed to be quite that loud.

I desperately wished they served food when I got there (was just a bit too late!) but still the drag show, beer, and popcorn was great. Love this bar! Can't wait to come back. Very inclusive and cool

I got six vegan wings with mango habanero. It was excellent! The fries are delicious, and so is the dipping sauce. You order at the bar, and the staff was friendly. The ambiance is very hip. It is very retro.

We recently revisited this place a few days ago, and we were not disappointed. It was a nice day, so they had the back wall completely opened up and a nice breeze was blowing through. The food we had was great. We shared the dip combo (And Dips) with garlic aioli, pimento dip and queso with chips and waffle fries. The Block Crunch Wrap: was amazing, great texture and taste! The Chicken Sandwich: was great as well, I had them hold the veggies, but it still had great flavor and good breading. Eight Wings:, with the spicy cajun rub, these things are huge! Side Salad, with the House Dressing, is a spicy french type of dressing. It is also a great serving size, probably sharable. If you're ever in the area stop by and check them out!

Wow okc has some cool places and this is one of them. The vegan food was some of the best I've ever had in a bar. And the bar is great. Service is friendly and everything is priced really well. I would come back for the Elote alone.

Love love love! This neighborhood bar is great. Prices are great. Haven't had the opportunity to try their food yet but the menu is unique. The bartenders are awesome. The vibe is unique and full of lights. I love it and the concept of it being in a freight car is so cool to me. I love this little hidden gem & I will be frequenting it way more often. The dog park is a huge plus.

*Vegetarian Review So thankful for a fun place that offers a vegan/vegetarian option for EVERY item on the menu. Of course you can't beat the atmosphere. Indoor is small and loud and the total fun bar scene. The outside is chill with a cool view of the city with a dog park next door. Happy hour drinks are minimal but still a good selection. If you eat meat or don't - this is the place.

The service can be amazing when it's slow. They definitely need a sign that specified that currently all orders are to be taken at the barn I want getting upset until my friend showed up and explained, That do bring the food to the table though. The drinks are IT. So good. I mean my Old Fashioned was kicking my a@@ at halfway done. So good. They claim to have everything in the menu able to be vegan and that's absolutely phenomenal. I tried the burger veganized and it was da bomb. The vegan cheese was even good. They use tarot cards to know where to bring your food This is a bar an a shipping container. So cool. I have to come back and try the vegan chicken wings

I'm glad it wasn't packed for a Friday night because I have been here before when it used to be Anchor Down, and the place is small. It was moderately busy when my friend and I came by after having dinner. The female bartender that we got was so friendly and sweet. We had no problem ordering our drinks at the bar since she was attentive. My friend and I both got Mr. Rogers, which is their version of an old-fashioned. The drink was pretty strong and wasn't overpriced. Even though we had tab-out, the bartender still came over and check on us. I'm glad I had a good experience since I tend to frequent this neighborhood, so it's nice to have a spot to hang out after dinner now.

I'm a little confused at how this cool little space didn't pop up on every one of my searches for "bar", "beer", or "food" in the OKC bricktown/deep deuce area. It's a container bar! How cool!? They have a pretty big menu for a bar and the food can be made vegan/vegetarian at your request. The draft beer menu is not huge but has some good options on it, including some local picks. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor and the casual vibes are perfect for an afternoon break, or maybe even a late night snack too.

This place is AWESOME! The restaurant is in a container ship which makes the atmosphere feel very unique. The location is perfect, the food is great, (everything can be made vegan - their Elote is to DIE for!!). Free Bingo on Wednesdays with beer or a shot as a prize (Hell yes!?) The Blok is hands down one of my favorites places in OKC. Good times! (Just sucks they are next to an asshole dentist threatning to charge people 24/7 for the parking nearby though).

I'll have to admit I was skeptical. A bar that offers vegan versions of every menu item, to include wings? I'm one of those that is morally opposed to the boneless wing - cuz they don't exist! On top of that, the joint is in a building constructed of ship containers. I was expecting average bar food and mediocre cocktails at best. I was wrong. Had a great rye old fashioned to start, followed by some of the best wings I've ever had. The wings themselves were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The sauce was a very flavorful Hot Gangnam (spicy Korean) and had a great balance of spicy, smoky, and sweet flavors. The wings were served with a choice of side, and I chose the elote. It was a surprisingly tasty and cheesy accompaniment to the wings. The service was great, and the vibe was chill. I highly recommend The Blok!!

This is NOT a vegan restaurant. Who listed this as vegetarian? So wrong. This is a meat eaters haven. There are gross "impossible" meat substitutes to their all meat options. But cute neighborhood bar outside of this terrible mislabeling

Y'all I seriously love this place! I love to eat vegan and this place takes vegan bar food to a whole new level! Not only is this location so cool- inside an old shipping container- but the bar staff is so awesome. This is a great neighborhood bar! The inside is eclectic and always decked out for every holiday. Their beer taps are all characters from the Simpsons and they have an amazing selection of local beers too. Their drinks are amazing and they have a great happy everyday! Now food- I already mentioned that their bar food is great but here's the best part- EVERYTHING on their menu can be made VEGAN! Do you know how hard it is to find great vegan food?! This place does it up right! Last night we grabbed an order to go and we got their vegan "chicken" special which had maple sage and wow it was amazing. My absolute favorite appetizer is their dips- you can choose 3 of them and you literally cannot go wrong with any of them! You can choose between waffle fries, tots or chips for the appetizer- you may even be able to split it (1/2 &1/2) You will not be disappointed. Also their vegan boneless wings are super tasty too!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I wish we ate here more often, but we've had the pleasure of eating here several times. They can make anything on their menu vegan, which is a HUGE deal! I think that's important with the popularity the lifestyle has gotten. We've tried all their vegan items, as my husband and i are vegan, and we're always suuuuuper pleased! My go to is their vegan Taco The Town on tots. It's so heavenly, now I'm craving it at 1AM lol They have quick service, delicious food, kind people, amazing portion sizes + reasonable pricing! Could not recommend them enough! Seriously go here!

Super duper disappointed in the attitude of one of the male bartenders. The female owner has always been very sweet and welcoming. The one night the owner wasn't behind the bar and we had a completely different experience. He seemed irritated that our group was even there from the moment we ordered. The friend of ours that he yelled and cursed at is one of the most calm people I've known, so I was completely confused by the whole experience. The food was always good and I loved the vegan options. It's too bad he exploded over being overwhelmed because not one person in our group of 20+ will ever be back.

Tried this place on a recommendation by a tattoo artist I met. Went the day before I left OKC and I wish I found it sooner!! Very cool vibe. Super friendly staff and the bar food..... DELICIOUS. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

The vibe is chill, service is great, and every meaty option on the menu can be made vegetarian/vegan! Most things are made in-house and they supply local vegetarian sources when they can. Love this place!

My favorite place to get drinks downtown. Everyone is super friendly and it's got good vibes. Most bars don't have good food, BUT this bar is the exception. Their food is amazing from their burger to nachos. They've also got solid wings. A must if you're coming downtown for a night.

I was in OKC for work and my colleagues and I went to The Blok for dinner/drinks. Everything was spot on. Drinks were cold and refreshing. The fries and tots came out hot and crispy. I had the cheeseburger which was excellent. Coworkers had wings which received raves. Service was fantastic- friendly and efficient. Ambiance was very cool and unique. Highly recommend this place!!

Best damn vegan bar food, drinks and staff. Get some loaded tots and a red beer if you know what's good.

The owner and servers were unbelievably rude. They targeted my minority friends with unrelenting masking requests (while they were drinking next to others who were unmasked drinking) and refused to serve non-alcholic drinks to pregnant patrons. They yelled and cursed until they forced out a group of people they didn't want there.

4.5 really - A younger version of myself would have spent a lot of my free time here. While the echoes of my youth rocked along with Sublime, the uptight current me wanted a more robust whiskey selection and could have used a few other booze options as well. I will say I did enjoy the guac and they zeroed in on my bourbon lust and suggested a Rahr & Sons Bourbon Barrel Winter Warmer, which was really good.

Do NOT waste your money here. The customer service is beyond horrible. The owner and staff were outwardly rude when we ordered and rude when food was delivered to the table. The server was blatantly offended when she tried to deliver someone else's wings to our table.. among other issues. If you want a tip, the pizza place at Parlor makes an incredible vegan pizza, try that spot instead!

Love this place! The staff has always been friendly and patient with our 10000 questions. They have a great local beer selection AND really tasty and interesting craft cocktails. In addition, everything on their menu can be made vegan... yum! The garlic parm dip is so yummy, and their "chicken" sandwiches were awesome. They had one that was... I think maple bbq? I LOVED IT. I have tried the chicken parm version and tried it tossed in Buffalo- both good, but if you have the option: try the maple bbq. Good variety of seating, and I like that it's right next to a dog park. Also, good size parking lot next door.

This bar slaps! My fav bar to go to during the week & on weekends. Allie is amazing & personal, as well as professional. Wes & Meg are amazing business owners - always polite & creative. Theydies night is my fav. 20/10 would recommend this place to go solo or with a group of people.

I'm shocked to see any bad ratings on this place. This place has some of the BEST vegan food I've had anywhere in OKC. The staff is wonderful and the drinks are great. Tons of outdoor seating, wonderful for taking your dog (a dog park literally next door!). Would recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and a chill vibe.

I will NEVER EVER come back here. They have the worst staff. The worst manager and team when it came to a pregnant woman just wanting a water with lime and they can't handle a group. I'm so sorry to our pregnant friends who were treated poorly'.never go there!

Shocked at how terrible this place was to us. The staff is awful, and the owner is even worse. To make a long story short: The wings were pretty good, but holy moly the people that work there suck!! All the way up to and especially including the owner. Don't waste your time or money on them.

The Blok bar is hands down my new favorite hangout. The drink selection is good, and all of the people are friendly. They can even make anything on their menu vegan, including the sweet soy wings!
