The Blue Apron Restaurant

Couldn't speak highly enough of this place. Excellent service, lovely atmosphere and really good food. Highly recommend the coffee. Best coffee I've ever had in Ireland. Reminiscent of something you'd get in Spain or Portugal. The assiette of starters is a great choice if you'd like a little of each. Mains and desserts (we went the whole hog!) all fabulous.

We had a beautiful meal in this restaurant last night. We choose the restaurant based on the great reviews that we had read as we were just visiting Tullamore. It did not disappoint. From the minute we walked in the door our server Christina saw to our every need. She was very cheerful and pleasant and the service was 5 star. The food was absolutely delicious. We had crab brûlée and duck parfait for starters and slow braised shoulder of lamb for mains. Our desserts were gorgeous also. We would highly recommend this restaurant to our family and friends.

What a real hidden Gem … if you are anywhere near the midlands this is definitely worth a visit , it’s like walking into someone’s dinning room , you a greeted warmly , and waited on hand and foot … The food is absolutely amazing.. top class and a very unusual menu which also has a fantastic vegetarian option ….10/10 ..

What an AMAZING culinary experience. I have to say, there was nothing to find fault with, and that is coming from two self confessed fussy-foodies! The pictures speak for themselves, and yes, they tasted every bit as good (or even better) than it looks. Highly, highly recommend.

This is one of the better restaurants in Tullamore. The food is delicious and portions are good. The staff are great, and very attentive to customers with gluten free requirements. I would definitely recommend it. 2024 update: we had lunch here today, it was delicious and extremely good value and the service was very professional and pleasant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best garlic mushrooms I've ever had, crunchy outside but not dry. The lentil curry had such a depth of flavour but not too spicy. Everything was loved by us all. Highly recommend both for vegetarians and meat eaters. There's a large amount of choice. Missed Sarah though.

Just have to report on one of the best dining experience we recently thoroughly enjoyed in The Award winning Blue Apron restaurant in Tullamore. The food was excellent, plenty of options, the staff were most helpful and very friendly. Absolutely fabulous. We will be back .Highly recommend

My husband and I spent two weeks touring a large amount of Michelin reviewed restaurants and this was the one that fell completely flat. My husband got the shrimp cocktail salad...it came absolutely saturated in sauce. The lettuce was cheap iceberg along with tiny fishy shrimp. There was nothing impressive. When I asked the waitress if she recommended the pecan chicken or the pulled pork, her only response was "well you can have chicken any day". No recommendation regarding flavor/texture. Lastly, our water was frequently empty, silverware fell off while plates were being set down by staff, wait staff seemed uninterested and rude. Overall just an odd experience and we were hoping for so much more.

Definitely a must if you are touring Ofally! This is the definition of proper dining service. There was not one second I felt ignored or had to wait. The dishes were prepared quickly, and were absolutely terrific! It is a must stop destination if you are in Tullamore.

Exceptional food and service, menu choices make it hard to decide. Food presentation was a thing of beauty. Blue apron is a terrific counterpoint to pub fare during our Irish holiday.

The best meal I have had in Ireland and this is my fourth trip over! And right there in my top 10 dinners out anywhere! Wonderful selections with interesting touches and a good range of possibilities that included meat, seafood and vegetarian choices -- my beef was superb. The dessert special almost made me weep, it was so good (homemade peanut butter iced cream on a bed of fudge over a salted caramel sticky toffee toffee-like cake/biscuit). Well trained wait staff and friendly owners. If you are going to The Tullamore Dew distillery, this restaurant is a perfect choice for dinner after.

I have been to The Blue Apron many times and have never been disappointed. Great food and a wonderful reception on every occasion. I'm vegetarian and my family are not so it can be difficult to find somewhere that suits all of us but we've always been happy with our meal there. Best place to eat in Tullamore.

Simply the best eatery in the Midlands - been here dozens of times and never had even a hint of a sub-standard meal. Nice staff, quality food and fine wine - you must try it !!
