I've been to a couple events here, and I love the space. Bo Bartlett's work is wonderful, and I could take it in for hours. On top of that, there are works from his wife, and other artists in different areas of the center, and the space is easy to navigate. The terrace is beautiful as well.

It was nice to visit. The art may be viewed as controversial in modern times. In the 90s, the artist Bo Bartlett painted pictures of him as a black man although he is white. It wasn’t offensive to me just made me think of Get Out. I love that they showcase up and coming artist. My favorite piece was yarn art of a Native American. It’s free to attend but if possible please donate.

I love the Bo Bartlett Center. They put on such incredible shows and draw amazing artists and their work to Georgia allowing me to see some of my absolute favorite contemporary paintings that I never thought I would get a chance to see. 🤩 We are talking phenomenal art, here! You don't even have to go to New York! You can leisurely walk down Columbus River walk and see Bo Bartlett's world renown work any time they are open, for free! You might even get lucky and catch a day when Betsy Eby is playing her piano in the gallery, perhaps next to one of her beautiful encaustic paintings. You could go to one of their monthly figure drawing classes... Also free! ( Thank goodness! Because the first time I was there I had $0 and was about to be homeless myself... but I got to see work from artistic superstars, who I had longed to see in person for years and it was an absolute light in my life) Bo Bartlett Center provides support and art supplies/classes to the homeless, as well as local school children. I am so excited to see what they do next!

An amazing gallery with a urban feel that I'd compare to bigger cities alike. We loved the attached CSU local art side especially exciting hearing the sound of metal working and a glimpse of a young Picasso hard at work on a project. My kids and I would have loved to be able to watch them working but the area was understandingly of limits for safety. Also parents need to know there are some provocative and nude paintings upstairs in the Bo Bartlett gallery

One of my favourite museums in Columbus, the Bo Bartlett Center offers some of the artist's best works. There are always really great events going on there, too, such as poetry readings, small orchestral concerts, and whatnot. There's also a rotating exhibit, which is often good. Recently, they showcased an excellent Russian realism exhibit, which I really enjoyed. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quality art experience in the city.

FANTASTIC art museum! Top 10 places to visit in Columbus for either tourist or locals. It is always nice and relaxing and low key here. Staff at the desk are always super nice. The photos do NOT do justice to the size and prominence of the paintings. Good for kids, and adults and all in between. Also convenient to many other attractions downtown. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting!! 👍🏻👍🏻

The Bo Bartlett Center is a hidden gem within Columbus and I've been a big fan since 2018 when it was just opening. I've had the opportunity to perform there during their Tuneful Tuesday series. In that time, the center has grown so much to host many wonderful exhibits and even the tuneful Tuesday has become a higher profile event. I'm grateful for the space and I look forward to its future in Columbus.
