I feel a bit bad admitting it but we honestly didn't have super high expectations when we visited tonight, not because of anything to do with the Board and Brew, but simply because other similar establishments we've been to in the past have been more gimmick than substance. However, we were all thrilled that not only does the Board and Brew have a super chill vibe and a huge variety of interesting board games you can play for a small per-person fee (one fee covers all the games), but most importantly (to me), the food was awesome! The Swiss and arugula melt, the fried maitake mushroom burger, and the pork belly and fried egg sandwich were all fantastic, as were the Old Bay fries. The Oreo milkshake and spiced apple cake were also really good. We weren't initially planning to game tonight but a flash flood warning prompted us to stay in a while and not travel, so we busted out a game and had a great time learning it for an hour or two till they closed. I hope to come visit again, either for a meal or even just for a drink or a dessert and a chill evening of board games.

Google
I always love coming to The Board and Brew- they’ve got great drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. Whenever I go I have a great time. It’s nice to play games and be around others having fun. Their board game selection is EXTENSIVE. You’ll never be board (get it?). Whether you like fun and lighthearted or more serious games, they have something for you. They’ve got card games, scary games, family games, space themed games, train themed games, cooperative games, competitive games, and more. They even have their own system to help you pick a game based on what you’re looking for. Coming with friends is a great time! They have space indoors and outdoors which is nice. I haven’t had their food, and I personally would love to see more gluten free options, though they do have some, but the drinks are really good! Their chocolate cherry latte for Valentine’s Day is out of this world! I am a super huge fan, so much that I miss it throughout the rest of the year. If I’m in the area I stop by just for a drink. In addition to good drinks, games, and vibes, their staff is great. Every waiter, waitress, and server I’ve had has been kind, friendly, cool, and attentive.

Wow, I love this place and definitely want to come back! The variety of games is amazing (you will find something for any group of people, or even solo). The place’s atmosphere is super cozy, too, and you can even enjoy your meal in there without playing games (you also won’t have to pay the game fee). Anyway I highly recommend the Oreo milkshake and the food is delicious!

Google
This is a popular spot. We went on Tuesday night after 8 PM, so the parking was free at the kiosk. We ordered breakfast and it was great. The pancakes were to me just the right size and not thick. Also, the sausage patty reminded me of homemade sausage. Breakfast came with toast and potatoes. Our server was wonderful, very attentive and super nice.

Google
This is much more affordable than Queen and Rook in terms of board game cafes. There weren't many food options that I cared for. And one of my mates that I came with got some very rubbery chicken. However they remedied that situation so service points went up. Not as many game choices as Q&R but still fun.

Google
I was in the area for Penn Relays, I walked in, and the vibe inside was chill and very sheek. I checked out their menu — they had several items that were vegan & gluten-free. I ordered the Chickpea & Fava Bean Falafel. When I went to pay, the person who took my order said, “Are you recording?” I responded, “No,” because I wasn’t recording. I was honestly confused by the question — like, why are you in my phone, and what makes you think I’m recording you? It’s an iPhone; I have a bunch of screens open. They responded, “Well, it looks like you have a camera part open.” Huhhhhhhhh??? It went from the vibe being chill to me feeling uncomfortable real quick. I just wanted to take my food & go. I probably won’t be back because of this.

Google
music amazing waitress amazing and very solid food here! my friend got the vegan chorizo tacos which i gotta say i loved the most honestly. i got the cinnamon bun french toast which was really good too. the potatoes in the BnB meal are stellar and seasoned very yummy. the lemon blueberry pancakes where chocolatey which was a slightly odd flavor to add, so i wasnt the biggest fan. but the vibes and atmosphere are v nice its a great solid weekend brunch spot !!

Google
I’ve had just coffee here, and a meal as well! Very cozy spot to get schoolwork or work done. Great location, and there is usually parking out front for drivers. We highly recommend the tomato soup with grilled cheese as well as the hummus app.

Yelp
Came here one day to hang with my friends. The service was rather slow, but the food arrived quickly after I ordered it. Unfortunately, they got my order wrong, and gave me a Buffalo chicken sandwich instead of Buffalo chicken fries, but it ended up being enjoyable anyways and the waiter even offered to have the sandwich not charged if I was not fine with it. Luckily I loved the sandwich and the fries that came along with it. Was a decent price at $16 and didn't last long (as it was devoured pretty quickly). Other than the food the ambiance is very relaxed and chill and they have a very nice selection of board games to choose from. The place is very clean as well. It's much larger on the second floor so don't be deterred if it looks small on the outside! Even with the minor slipup, I'd still highly recommend this to anyone who is in the area as quite an enjoyable hangout location.

Yelp
Service and environment were great; came with a big group and were seated pretty quickly. Fun atmosphere with ridiculous number of games. Great vibes overall. I imagine most people come for a drink and dessert and to play games but dinner was disappointing. Burgers and fries were fine; anything else was a miss. Would definitely go back, but only after eating dinner elsewhere.

Yelp
Came here again today and got the strawberry matcha which is favorable. It was really packed with travelers and students. That being said, I appreciated how the staff communicated the realistic timelines and admitted that the kitchen was backed up. Furthermore, what looked like a business owner, he was monitoring the situation and checked in with those in line or waiting for a drink. The staff today was exceptional as they kept their cool and maintained warmth, kindness despite being super busy!

Yelp
Popped in here for a quick bite with some friends and really love how big the space is for dining upstairs. It's a very relaxed vibe and the food is super fresh. The wait staff was super friendly and didn't forget to check on us. All of the meals were really tasty. The sweet potato fries are delicious and will get those again next time. The old bay fries could have used a little more seasoning for my liking. But the pulled pork sandwich was five stars. The falafel greek salad was a bit over dressed so next time we might order it with dressing on the side but overall everything was great. Pro tip: they have everything from breakfast to lunch and it's only $5 to play the games no matter what time you come in to play. Looking forward to my return.

Yelp
Met a friend for lunch and had an enjoyable experience. Server Tate was incredibly personable and friendly. I've always had good experiences at B&B and am not at all surprised it always has an open ambiance. The chocolate strawberry latte was $7, which felt a little high for me, but I thought it was better than Greek from Greece's version of the same latte. B&B is known around campus as having great flavored coffee drinks, but for a pretty penny! Just because of the price, I don't think I would order again, but I enjoyed it at the time. This was my first time getting a specialty coffee drink. Dessert brownie sundae: I'm a sucker for a brownie sundae, but I was disappointed that this brownie didn't live up to par. I didn't feel like it was moist or flavorful. Portion size is big though.

Yelp
Great breakfast/brunch spot to meet up with friends and play games! The breakfast foods weren't showstopping but pretty solid- the drinks were creative and yummy across our lattes, matchas, and chais. The servers are really great at being attentive while you have food but leaving you alone when you're settled in with a game. There's plenty of game space upstairs and even an outdoor area for warmer weather. I'd give it 5 stars if the food were a little better (the waffles could be fluffier and the egg sandwich could be thicker/more stacked for its price) but as it is, I would definitely come back!

Yelp
Total college spot with lots of games. Not a bad price to play them if that's your thing. Pancakes were just average. Bacon tasty. Daughter liked the avocado toast, especially the egg. Her exact quote, "that's a damn good egg!" Service friendly and attentive. Cool space, upstairs had a pretty cool room with a door. Served the purpose and field goal is good

Yelp
Listen, did this place absolutely blow my mind? No not at all. Did I still inhale my entire plate? Yes. Solid breakfast food but nothing very innovative. They have your standard breakfast foods and they do them well. I will also give them credit for still being very well priced. My breakfast platter was $11 which is pretty great for this economy Upstairs wait was about 25 minutes at 10am on a Saturday so not too bad but there is a self-serve downstairs which is much quicker and pretty easy. Vibes are good. Downstairs is a mix of people studying and people sharing a meal but more so the former.

Gaspar M.

Yelp
The place looked really nice and the cashier was very friendly but they have Extremely slow service. And they're very expensive. Almost $6 for a small iced coffee. And they were so slow I didn't even have time to put milk in it before my bus came along. No one was in front of me either. She only had 2 coffee orders ahead of mine and it took her 7 minutes. Definitely no multitasking here.

Yelp
We checked out this game location because I'm truly a fan of this concept and wanted to find others in the city. As such, we landed on this establishment. It is in the busy section of university city with street parking being somewhat of a challenge but parking decks ample. The location is hard to miss, and upon entry in the dimly lit entrance there are folks busy with their activities such as drinking coffee, reading, and talking. As you walk upstairs you will find folks well focused on their games. There was a flat fee with no time limit at the time so that was comforting. The food, not many options on the food menu and similarly, the drink menu is lack luster but I was able to settle on something but unfortunately it was forgettable. The games, VAST! I did experience some indecision because there were so many options, but I went with games that I knew more because I wasn't in the mood to read rules or learned anything new. Anyway, very cool spot!

Yelp
Breakfast on a Sunday was surprisingly quiet, although this was before fall classes started at Penn or Drexel. Service was super friendly and prices reasonable. The breakfast items were all 3-4. The pancakes, however, were top tier. Our party of four agreed the pancakes were among the best we had ever had, definitely top five lifetime. Thinner with crisp edges, served fresh and hot. Pancakes pull this into a solid 4.

Yelp
I totally give this place 4 stars. I mean, everyone was super friendly & the spot was clean, overall pleasant, and they even serve alcohol! I was introduced to this place by a friend (hopefully more one day;) & I loved it. I totally recommend this spot!! k.David

Yelp
Came here for a date and it was so much fun! There are so many games to pick from. They also have gane recommendations if you need help picking. They serve breakfast all day. Their fries are yummy and crispy & their pesto sandwich is good. The star of the meal was their iced latte!

Yelp
Went here for lunch. They both have take-out and in-house options. The in--house is on the 2nd floor, where they offer both in- and out-door seating. We sat outside on a great summer day in Philadelphia. They have a broad selection of coffee and tea drinks. For lunch they have a good selection of salads, sandwiches, and snacks. I had the pesto chicken sandwich, which was great. It was the appropriate size for a lunch. I had it with the Cesar side salad, which also was tasty, but not very big. The service was great with the right amount of attention for a lunch service. Overall a great place for a quick lunch.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! My mom and I went to Perelman Center for her check up and left before other lunch places were open so we took our chances here. The person behind the counter immediately greeted us and was very kind, and we were glad to learn we could order either breakfast or lunch (it was about 10:30 am). We ordered: Lavender lemonade - SO good! The person behind the counter said they squeeze their lemons fresh every day and make an in house lavender syrup. Latte - Excellent, super smooth, my mom said it was the best she's had in a long time. Mike's Mistake (?) - I think that's what it's called, without a bun or goat cheese and caesar salad as a side. This was SO good!! The chicken was cooked deliciously and the salad was incredible. Hummus and falafel plate - Not for us, especially since we were just in Israel with other falafel, hummus also not for us, but not bad. The falafel here seemed like a healthier alternative to normal falafel. Loved having cucumbers and radishes in addition to the pita. Sweet potato fries with honey mustard - SO GOOD!! The fries had salt on them which was so good and the honey mustard was bomb dot com. I dipped the cucumber slices and radishes into it and it was divine. (I tried posting the "drool" emoji but it didn't transfer over). They do not have gluten free pastries and after I asked, the girl behind the counter made sure to let me know the fries we almost ordered had gluten so I was grateful for that. This is a fantastic spot. People were here working too - if I lived closer I would LOVE this spot, somewhere where you can work AND have protein options!? Amazing.

Yelp
Words cannot express how much I love this place. I've come here on multiple occasions and always have a great time. The staff are always super friendly and are careful not to disrupt you during your games. It's usually not too crowded and I can easily get a seat where ever I'd like upstairs. It's the perfect space to end the night on after a long day walking around the city that I really find re-energizing. The collection is immense and well organized, I can easily find games to play among two people. I enjoy getting to discover new games that push the boundary on what my ideas of what a board game is. You can get 10% off our order of food if you flash your SEPTA key card. I think the food is a tad bit more expensive than I'd like, so that discount really helps. I've really enjoyed my orders here from the sliders to the pancakes. It's really about coming here to play games not necessarily to eat. They have some unique flavors in their drinks and it's overall super cute.

Yelp
This is such a cute idea and the whole inside is very nice and clean but the food was so meh. I got 2 eggs and a side of toast (2 pieces) and it was the smallest toast I've ever seen. Our waitress didn't bring us any butter or anything for the toast it was very odd. My friend and I split a coffee cake and a apple cinnamon cake (they came with butter!) and they were both just ok. Very pricey for what it was and extremely not satisfied. We weren't going to pay $5 each to play a board game because we did not stay very long. I also felt like our waitress was trying to get us to leave. We weren't completely done eating and no where done talking and she's giving us the check and taking plates. Keep in mind no one is in the restaurant besides 4 other people on the upper floor and some downstairs. No reason to rush customers out. I will not be going back as the food really wasn't good to us.

Yelp
I love the concept of this place! You can order food, coffee, and cocktails AND it has tons of board games that you can play all under one roof! Personally, I was not a fan of the coffee I got however and probably would not come back for coffee. I got one of the specialty drinks called the caffe miele, which is a cappuccino with honey and cinnamon. I don't even know how to describe this drink but it had such an odd taste to it that I could not drink it. My mom also got the same drink and she did not like it either. I did try a sip of my sisters oreo latte which was good though. I got the pulled pork sandwich which was kinda messy to eat but super delicious! I got the sandwich with a side of fries and the fries were perfectly crispy. Sadly we didn't have time to play any of the board games but I would love to come back and spend more time here!

Nikhil M.

Yelp
I love the massive selection of games I was able to play for hours without even realizing the staff helped me find games that would be most appropriate

Torie G.

Yelp
Food had bad representation and took extremely long to arrive. The food also came out cold specifically the fries. There were also annoying kids yelling while playing boards games. The food was also extremely overpriced. and you had to pay five dollars a person to play board games. my salad also arrived with hair in it. and along look with all of that crap the waiters were extremely strange

Louise W.

Yelp
They forgot my friends croissant and never really came back to check on us so we didn't have much of a chance to tell them. They also recently changed up their menu but I personally liked their old avocado toast better. Customer service was alright, not the worst but they did take care of us pretty well. Matcha was good!

Yelp
While in the area for some meetings, I had to find a spot to stop for a coffee, bite to eat, and wifi for a quick video meeting. I searched through my Yelp map to see what was open near by and found The Board & Brew. As soon as I walked in the doors, I was greeted by the staff. I was able to place an order at the counter and was told I could dine in and grab a table on the first floor, or be seated upstairs. I opt-ed to sit down stairs because there was a cozy little corner seat available that was perfect for my video call. I asked and received the wifi password and went over to claim my seat. To drink, I got an iced latte with oat milk and for food, I ordered the Korean Style Pulled Pork Sandwich with fries. I appreciated that you could get a side of fries or salad for no additional price. Most places will charge you more for the salad option. My drink was ready immediately and my food took about 10 minutes. The timing was perfect so I could have some food before my video call. The wifi was reliable and my call went on without any issues or interruptions. When it was time for me to go, I realized I didn't get a receipt but needed one. I went up to the counter and asked for help, they were easily able to print one out for me. My entire experience was full of great and friendly service, delicious and well made drinks, and surprisingly good food. When I found the cute little coffee shop with board games on Yelp, I was not expecting such an overall amazing experience. I can't wait to return!
google avatar

Randy B.

Yelp
Very fun concept for a cafe- I mean who wouldn't want to play board games while sipping on coffee? Note a $2.50 charge per person to play games! Gave Board and Brew a shot in University City and it was a fun experience! However, the food that we got was extremely mid. The pulled pork was on the salty side with nothing to balance it, the black thai latte was good but no noticeable thai tea flavor, the plain latte lacked a strong coffee flavor, and the bagel could have had more bang for your buck. It was pretty standard brunch food but I wouldn't count it out. They have a lot of games to choose from, though most of them probably take a while to play (1+ hours). The service was mixed, mostly hospitable but one rude remark from a worker. Would come to maybe reconnect with some friends or play some interesting games that you wouldn't otherwise purchase on your own.
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
Everything was delicious, the staff was great and attentive, the board game selection was awesome and had assisting notes and recommendations. The fries were beyond great, crunchy but not burnt and the coat was right, the eggs were made with cheese and I had ended up adding bacon which was also good, the Mac was good and better than I expected! The chorizo tacos were delicious, the jalapeños were fresh and had that crunch to them so it added to the taco and brought a little kick with it. Would definitely try everything again!

Yelp
Three stars for the taste of the food. Minus stars for forgetting one of the three items for take out and messing up another one. They called me 5 minutes after I left to say they forgot to put it in the bag. They said they would refund me. They still haven't refunded me for the missing item $6.50 and the $1.75 I paid for cream cheese. With the prices of things these days I feel disappointed. With two small children in tow it was impossible to return to the restaurant (they offered) to get the missing items. I feel slighted that they didn't make it right by refunding me as they said they would.

Panote N.

Yelp
Customer service done right. We've been coming here for years, the food is good and the servers have always been great. The one time we run into an issue, despite a service mix up and one of the managers mishandled the situation, the owner got back to us and resolved the situation well (he sat down with the team to talk about the situation and gave us full refund as an apology.) Initially when we faced the mix up, we thought we wouldn't come back again, but the owner brought us hope back to this establishment and we're happy to return. The food has always been great and we love the board game selections here. Great place to discover new games and have fun with friends. Sitting amongst a great selection of board games that is very easy to access is also a plus :) We can stay after playing the bills and play for hours after which is amazing.

Jeffrey S.

Yelp
This place is awful. The service was really bad and I had to wait 5 minutes at the front to place my order, followed by 30 minutes to get my chicken pesto sandwich and Caesar salad. Come to realize it had been sitting on the counter for who knows how long without anyone calling my name or anything as I was standing near the front. I got a coffee, sandwich, and Caesar salad for the side and the chicken was dry. I also got charged 5 bucks extra for the chicken for 4 small pieces of meat which is a total rip off. Lettuce was not crispy either. Overpriced, bad food and bad service. The coffee wasn't bad and seems like a decent place to get some studying done if you're a student but if you want a "quick bite" I'd advise elsewhere
google avatar

Reasey V.

Yelp
It's a cool spot to kill some time and hang out. They have a lot of board games. Food is average from what I tried. I had the 2 eggs, pretty basic but the portions were kind meh Got a cold brew and I liked it. I would come here to do work or have some alone time during the week days when it's not too busy. I went on a Sunday and it was pretty packed
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
Been here a couple times and they hve solid coffee! Would love to try one of their specialty options
google avatar

Grace K.

Yelp
I stopped by Board and Brew with my partner because we love board game cafes; we love this as a date option and a way to try a bunch of different games we've been wanting to try or have heard of with no commitment of buying. We didn't have a formal meal, but got a ton of snacks while we were here. We shared a coffee milkshake (they use Scoop DeVille ice cream, a local franchise), fries, and the 'bread basket' option (we picked coffee cake, banana bread, and apple cinnamon). It was kind of funny, the breads were all different levels of moist - from most to least, it was the banana, apple, then coffee. They were good, but this was the one small thing I would ding the cafe on food-wise, was just the bread being not a consistent quality. The fries were out of this world though, so crispy and crunchy and just amazing, I would've ordered a second one if I didn't have any self control. We also enjoyed our milkshake. This game cafe is particularly inexpensive - only $2.50 to play a game! That being said, even though other game cafes in the city will charge you a little more, but with that charge comes instructions and staff engagement. We've been to another gaming cafe in the city where the staff will demo a game for you and help you set it up. That's really useful, whereas here you may have to spend a good amount of time just setting up a game and learning how to play it. The space upstairs is cozy, and decently spacious, and the game selection wasn't too bad at all, we liked that they were divvied up into different categories (co-op, competitive, etc). We played a few different ones and spent a long amount of time and definitely got more than our money's worth. I would for sure recommend it overall! And no worries if you're not in the mood for games, you can always just hang out in the regular seating area of the cafe downstairs. They have a small side section by the register as well where you can purchase some games.

Yelp
I have visited this place a few times and have tried different coffees. I really love their Oreo Latte (warm is the way to go in my opinion) and the Caffe Miele. Both have tasted great each time. This place is great for studying as it does not get too crowded and music is on the quieter side. Only negative is that they tend to leave the temperature on the lower side for me (maybe take a sweater if you are planning on staying for a while). They also offer a stamp card for a free drink!
google avatar

Sukhmani K.

Yelp
Nice place to study & get together with friends. Food was pretty good for a cafe. I would go back to play the countless games! The coffe and drinks were also good! Definitely try the the black Thai iced coffee
google avatar

Liz M.

Yelp
Went here on 3 different occasions and they were either sold out of things on their menu, or not open (but supposed to be). The cashier was nice but did not know anything about the available pastries or hot beverages to substitute for the items they were lacking.

Yelp
I really regret having to leave a negative review for this place because I have actually been here a few times and enjoyed the food, coffee, cocktails and ambiance. Today I visited, I placed and order for food and the waitress was walking around with food that looked like my order so I raised my hand and she brought it to me. I started eating and 10 minutes later she came back said that it was not mine and someone else. I told her what my name was and it turned out that it was someone else's who ordered before more me and that she was in fact calling his name and not mine. It was a mistake and I didn't hear her calling someone else's name at the time but she kept pressing me as if I intentionally took someone else's food. It was embarrassing, people were looking at us and this was definitely not a way to treat a paying customer. It was a misunderstanding that happens all of the time when people order the same thing and should have been handled as such. My recommendation is to do a table number system so the staff knows exactly where to bring food with no confusion and to not antagonize a paying customer when the there's a misunderstanding. I'm not in the business of making a restaurant look bad, I just hope that this constructive feedback helps.

Halima S.

Yelp
I ordered an egg and cheese and a matcha and the eggs were RAW and the matcha was unsweetened. Worst experience ever. DO NOT COME HERE.

Arisha J.

Yelp
I took a quick walk over from the hospital to grab some breakfast here. I was only here for a short time but it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and when one of the drinks we wanted weren't there, they gave us suggestions for similar flavors. We ended up getting the pumpkin king latte and the healthy egg sandwich (pesto, mozzarella, tomato on sourdough) and they were both delicious and flavorful. The atmosphere was also very nice, with comfortable seating, a friendly crowd and unique and familiar board games available to play.

Yelp
Good Manhattan. We dropped in for the Happy Hour Specials. They were appetizing! Would not hesitate to go back.

Honest R.

Yelp
They skimp a lot on stuff here. Asked for whipped cream and they gave me the tiniest amount possible and I paid extra for caramel just for them not to even give me the caramel syrup on my drink. Also asked for very light ice and they gave me a lot. Don't think they listened to any of my modifications/add ins that I paid for and it was obvious

Mark D.

Yelp
I want to start by saying that I've gone to Board & Brew a few times, and I've always enjoyed the food and the games, and the service has been good. I've also reserved a table before with no issues. Overall, it has always been a great experience. However, this time, on 1/28/24, I had reserved a table for my group using the contact form on their website. I received a confirmation from an actual person and not an automated response (a plus for me) and a text message confirmation the day before my reservation that I also responded to. When a member of my group arrived a half hour before the reservation, they were told there was no reservation. When I arrived 15 minutes before, I was told the same. I explained to the woman at the front how I had made the reservation and that I had received confirmations, but she told me that it wasn't in their book for the day and it would be at least a 2 hour wait, so there was nothing she could do. Despite traveling into the city from the suburbs, we had to just leave because we couldn't afford to wait hours to be seated. I'm very disappointed by this, and I'd love to continue going to Board & Brew, but I can't see myself doing that if making reservations doesn't seem to be effective. Update: Within 5 minutes of posting this review, Michael Chmar, one of the owners and the person who set up my reservation in the first place, looked up my phone number from the original reservation, called me, and we discussed what happened. He accepted full responsibility that this should not have happened, said he will address this tomorrow, and promised to email me and let me know once this is resolved. For that, I'm changing my original 1 star review to a 5 star review because I believe that a good faith attempt will be made to make this right, and this was handled promptly and professionally.

Yelp
Quick service. Nice vibe. Good prices for the area. The ricotta pancakes were outstanding.

Yelp
The cappuccino was delicious! But the food could've been much better for the price. I mean it was not bad, but for $15 I expected much more from the sandwich. If it was not $15 but $5 for a simple costco "artisan roll" with pulled pork - the overall score would've been full five stars.

Yelp
I came here to meet a few friends for a book club discussion. It is easy to get to, but due to location, if driving, there are parking garages around if necessary. When I walked in, it was very bright and crowded. It is clearly a popular place! However, it was spacious and there was plenty of room, especially with social distancing in mind. I went up to the counter to order. I got a juice and the healthy egg breakfast sandwich. The juice was called out quickly, which I was able to walk up and get, but our food was delivered to our table not too long after. For the price, I was so pleased with my sandwich. For $6.50 I got a very well done breakfast sandwich that was done FRESH. It was hot and, based on the mozzarella, was not sitting for long before being served to our table. Our group did not feel rushed and were able to take our time for our book club meeting. I had a really nice time and will definitely back to try other menu items.

Yelp
I was a little sore that CoZara closed, so I hadn't been to this corner since well before the pandemic. Well, good job, Vichet, you played yourself. As you know, because I'm telling you right now, the board game cafe is one of my favorite new concepts, overall. But man oh man, this place serves very good coffee. By itself, it's worth it to come for just the brew part. And you know, liquor is liquor. I didn't get any, but you know how I'll review that. With too many drinks and at least two thumbs up. Don't ask about the extra thumbs, who they belong to, or where they're hiding (you know where). I didn't even get a chance to play any board games while I was there in my first visit, because it was a lunch break. But their selection of games, from simple to "you need a PhD in Board Game-ology" is top notch, based on what my eyeballs tell me. I'm gonna try some of the food and pastries next time. They looked and smelled pretty good. But, you know, they could be full of poison. Board games like Clue, and this new one I'm working on right now because you can't prove I'm not (working title: "It Could Be Full of Poison") taught me that delicious things -could- be full of poison. Check this place out.

Yelp
Surprisingly their decaf oat milk latte is delicious. Food and pastries are pretty good too. But we had ordered 2 caesar salads for pickup yesterday and they forgot the dressing. When I very politely told them today (not even complaining; just letting them know) while getting coffees, they weren't the least bit apologetic. They actually kind of blamed us - saying that we didn't give them enough advance notice. What kind of a response is that? We went to pick up the order at the time the email told us to.

Yelp
Very cool cafe to study and chill at! They offer a lot of board games to play :) You'll never get board.

Yelp
I visited for the first time with my coworkers (on a Wednesday- w/o a reservation) and was pleasantly surprised! I'm sorry folks, usually the camera eats & drinks first (aka taking pictures of food & drinks), but we said cheers and dug right into our apps. Dried tomato hummus &pita: YES DELISH. Hush puppies: YUM. I caught a quick pic of the old bay fries which were nicely seasoned & crispy--yum! I had the Jamaica cocktail & it was nice. Something to sip on while enjoying conversation. I say "sip" because the cocktail glasses are pretty small, but that was expected in a café type of setting. Very cozy upstairs area, option to sit outside, plenty of games to play ($5 per person), and even extra seating in the back. I'm saving the last star for when I come just to try...ALL(I wish)...their speciality lattes & some breakfast!

Yelp
Takeout order. Pork sandwich was extremely salty and inedible. Chicken in chicken pesto sandwich tasted rubbery or undercooked, also inedible. Falafel also very salty and the order was missing the baba ghanoush and dipping sauce. Literally threw away the entire dinner. Super disappointed.

Yelp
I'm typically not someone who gives bad reviews, but our experience here was not good so we had to warn other people. The lattes and coffees here were very sour and bitter (we had gotten the macchiato, cappuccino, and fall blend). It took forever for the server to come, and they spilled a bit of the drinks we ordered, said would get a napkin for it but never came back with it. Someone from our party ordered the full BnB platter with bacon, but was not given bacon, so she told the server, who brought us the bacon. However, when the bill came, we were charged extra for a side of bacon. When we tried to dispute the charge, we were told that we wanted no meat initially, which was not what we said while ordering... And then our server just said "ok" and left.

Yelp
Ordered to go desserts - milk chocolate cake and chai milkshake and MY GOD the chai milkshake is AMAZING. Also espresso caramel that comes with the chocolate cake is SO GOOD. Can't believe this is gluten free. Definitely will visit again try others!!
