I was very impressed with this place. Just enjoyed my brothers 40th birthday gathering here and I must say - the staff is amazing. Everyone that works here was so nice. The band playing was great. The pool tables need a good cleaning but besides that it was a lot of fun. Will definitely be back! Thank you Boars Nest

Fun place to hang out and the food was good. The service was good.. didn't have to wait long for food and the bartenders were right on point.

I’m a 24 yr old female and I am visiting from Florida for the holidays trying to enjoy my night with my family when the shorter female bartender with the dark brown hair rejects my ID. She then proceeds to raise her voice and say show me your social media birthdate now. That’s not how I should be treated for being of age. They will not be receiving my business ever again. They should fire her..she’s bad for business and there are other reviews about the same bartender. I hardly ever leave reviews but felt inclined to let everyone know that Char & Lemon is a 10/10 for food and drinks down the street.

Great food and drinks. Awesome bartenders. Variety of music nights. Love the patio in good weather. If you're looking for a lunch or dinner out, stop here!

We love this place, all the bartenders are awesome and very friendly to patrons. Normally a quiet crowd during the week which is great if you want to come and have a drink and eats

The white girl bartender with the black hair needs to chill out. as soon as we got there she starts YELLING at us to show her IDs, there was no reason to yell no one around us and loud music was not playing, I am trying to hand her my ID and she's STILL yelling about how she needs to see our IDs so we walk away to the other person in our group to be like we are leaving this girl was yelling in our faces about ID while trying to give it to her and then she comes to the bar and start continuing to yell at us to see our IDs, it was all our first time there and we will NEVER be returning. that bartender needs to chill out yelling at customers to see ID is not the way to go. 0/10 would recommend here but 10/10 recommend Jimmies Place down the street in Seymour because the lady kindly and CALMLY asked to see our IDs and we all showed her because she wasn't screaming in our faces

Sat at the bar and had a drink after a game of axe throwing. Friendly service. Several games available - pool, video games. Only draw back is the sound of axes hitting the wall behind us. It was fine for a bit, but wouldn't have wanted to hang out too long.

This is a relaxed neighborhood type bar restaurant. The food is awesome and reasonably priced. The service is great. They offer activities such as axe throwing and dart boards which is unusual these days. Can't go wrong.

The Food was Delicious The baked macaroni and cheese was absolutely delicious. The TV's were terrific for the Baseball playoff game .

Had so much fun at this establishment. They have nice drinks and plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. Lots of games and entertainment. We loved playing darts and had so much fun with it. We also played some pool. The axe throwing is seperate but connected. It was expensive so we skipped it. Definitely a nice spot to check out though.

We had such a nice time! I have to say the drinks were all phenomenal, my boyfriend raved about his old-fashioned and he's picky. I had a blueberry lemon drink that was on the specials, amazing. Espresso martini was great too, not overly sweet which I loved. Andrea was our bartender, she was excellent! We really enjoyed the hogs tots, pulled pork was phenomenal. We were looking for someplace to relax and play a couple games of pool in the afternoon, they had great tables, also played some darts. I noticed they have ax throwing too! So glad we found a new spot to enjoy!
