TikTok Food Critic Keith Lee Reviews Atlanta Restaurants and Goes Viral | Eater Atlanta

"I observed that the Bodega was included among the mom-and-pop restaurants Lee visited and praised for good food and service, but that those positive individual reviews were largely overshadowed online by the controversy generated around other, more hyped venues." - Beth McKibben

This cool little spot in Downtown Greensboro seems like a hidden gem tucked away amongst the buildings. When you first walk in this place they have t-shirt merchandise, candy, comic books, in addition to all of the variety of craft beers. Parking sucks here though, so be prepared to pay with quarters, or if you are lucky to find a spot in the free parking lot try your luck. The menu is listed on a big wall chalkboard next to the register. Today I was in the mood for some chicken so I went with the Chicken Donatello and this sandwich did not disappoint me at all. This sandwich contained grilled chicken. Tomatoes, pesto, mozzarella and banana peppers. On a scale of best sandwiches I would rate it a 7. After I ordered i only had to wait about 7 minutes for my food, but i beat the lunch rush.

Incredible selection of locally crafted beverages and snacks. Sandwiches are out of this world. Space is well appointed and comfy. Staff has always been super welcoming. Don't miss out on their bo soda options. Gucci Belt is the go to. Nothing like it in GSO.

Google
A TOTAL VIBE in Downtown Greensboro. The atmosphere is welcoming & relaxing. The music being played makes it a location, that if you have the time, is a great place to get your food and enjoy. The sandwiches are amazing! A pricier sandwich, yes, but well worth the price! Your hunger will be satisfied & will have you wanting to go back to continue trying their menu.

You should be ashamed of yourself if you are within a few miles of Bodega and you go to some chain sandwich shop. This is the place. Very cool shop and fantastic sandwiches and drinks. Check ‘em out.

Google
This was my first time trying the bodega. I came because I saw on Instagram a post about "the raphaela" sandwich. Unfortunately, it was only a limited time menu item. But, since I couldn’t get that, I opted for the "lunch box" sandwich instead. I’m glad I did, because it was absolutely delicious. It’s also a convenience store. I picked myself up a cream soda. The parking out front is street parking but there’s plenty of spots, even more around the corner of the intersection. I wasn’t in there for long. Max 10-15 minutes.

The sandwiches dreams are made of. My personal favorite is the Jimmy Pesto. The Italian sandwiches are also great. Fun selection of chips, sodas, and snacks, but as a sandwich aficionado, that’s what I come for. Ingredients are high-quality and these sandwiches are large. Maybe slightly overpriced, but the quality is definitely a step above something like Jimmy John’s or Carolina Deli. The bread they use here is particularly good and can stand up to over-the-top fillings. Never soggy.

Yelp
First off, Wu Tang Forever! Secondly, this joint is pretty awesome. A co-worker has talked about The Bodega for months. We finally made a trip during our lunch break. The very first thing I noticed at the entry of the business was a "Presidents are Temporary/Wu-Tang is Forever" sign (there was a sign in the store too-see pics). I immediately thought that any business down with RZA & Method Man being forever has to make a good sandwich. The interior of the store embodies a small convenience store. The Bodega offers a number of items from freshly made sandwiches & salads, Rap Snacks, and hemp infused Bo-Soda. The staff member that assisted us was friendly. I took a moment to compliment the Wu-Tang sign outside & inside of the store. He mentioned that they actually sell the signs. Definitely gave me something to think about. During my visit, I ordered the Raquel sandwich minus the pesto mayo. The sandwich was fresh and absolutely delicious. Their menu is filled with a variety of flavor combinations. I have to admit that it took me a minute or two to settle on one choice. The Raquel was the perfect sandwich for my first visit to The Bodega. You have to check this place out the next time you are in Downtown Greensboro. You won't regret it.

Yelp
I got one of the sandwiches for lunch and it was a little small for $16 and I'm also pretty sure they forgot the pepperoni on my sub :( Bummer. I expected a little bit more of a grocery store vibe too but it's a side market with water, beer, weed & sammies. Dats it.

Yelp
Although this convenience store is remnant of the bodegas I'm use to in the northern states, it's still a very cute spot. They have some Wu-Tang logo stickers and ads placed in the store. I mentioned it to the cashier that I loved it, and he gave me a sticker. It will be placed on my laptop. They have local brand, and store brand versions of various drinks and treats. They sell THC products, deserts, sandwiches and salads. I ordered a Ham & Jam sandwich. Ham, hot capicola, chorizo, strawberry jam, brie, pepper relish, arugula. Despite the ton of arugula, it was really good. Savory. There's a few other sandwiches I will be returning to try.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to visit the bodega. I have followed this place for years on social media, and drooled over the many pictures of mouth watering sandwiches they post. Upon walking in, it was clear they sell a lot of cbd, delta8/9 drinks, snacks and everything you may need to appease your appetite after partaking in those edibles. The cashier was friendly as we navigated the large menu board. I opted for the Turkey Caesar, with a Dr Pepper. My wife picked a sandwich, a coke and we split a bag of chips. The food came out quickly and we started eating on their small side patio, but ultimately had to find a less windy spot. The food was great, the sandwiches packed full and great flavor combinations, but it was definitely a bit expensive in my opinion. Our total bill for (2) sandwiches, (2) cans of soda and a bag of chips was around $40, which just seems high to me. But the food was good, service quick, and the options availed for a local stone are abundant. I'd say it's worth checking out, but just be warned about the price.

Yelp
Great visit and would recommend. Nice location in downtown Greensboro. Install the Park Mobil App to park. Wife and I got sandwiches and can sodas that were tasty. I got the Ham + Jam which was unique and fresh. Yum! Wife chicken salad wrap which she enjoyed. Counter service was friendly. The store displays were nice and everything clean! Too clean for a Bodega maybe...Ha! Higher end bottle wine was cool to see. Lots of unique items and merchandise is offered for sale. A wide range of chilled bottle and can beverages is available. On warm days you can enjoy their side patio. If not warm they offer a few indoor bar seats. I'm in between a 4-5 on this one, so for a first visit a 4 seems to suit them. I would recommend and return next time in town.

Yelp
Finally had the opportunity to try a sandwich from The Bodega! It's no doubt a great, tasty, hearty sandwich but I have few notes, some of which are totally preference! Let's hit on some categories: Location - convenient in downtown. Parking is a pain but there's a deck right across the way and it's relatively easy to get in and out of. Be on the lookout for the shop, or you might miss it. It's on the very end of its building. Price - this might be its biggest downfall. It's a little pricey, particularly compared to other sandwich shops. But its location and size of sandwich allows it to be a little more pricey. The sandwich itself was $15 or $16, and with chips/tip it was about $20 (no drink). Sandwich options - tons! Truly something for everyone and it's hard to narrow it down. They're cold only, though, so if you like a hot sandwich this might not be the place for you! Sandwich - delicious! I ordered the Gucci Belt (basically their italian). I love the mayo on it compared to other delis that might not put mayo on theirs. The meat was flavorful and plentiful. I thought the lettuce could have been fresher. The flavors marry well, and it's a good bite. It's also a big sandwich! You could easily get two meals out of this. Side options - mainly chips and snacks around the bodega. I did spy some potato salad and chicken salad options that looked yummy! Service - quick! I was in and out. The lady that took my order was friendly. Patio - so cute out there! Love the flowers and coziness of the area. A great place to have lunch on a nice day. Overall, I'll be back to try some more sandwiches. It's a must try, I think, since it's a GSO staple. I may have other favorite Italian sandwiches in town, but like I said I will be back to try some other options!

Yelp
The sandwiches here are amazing!! Stacked full of meat, cheese and veggies they make a hearty meal- or for me- two meals. Staff are always friendly and informative about best menu items to try. There is limited indoor seating but plenty of space on the patio. Good selection of beer and other drinks as well as a few draught beers on tap. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by my daughter. When I walked in, I didn't know what to think. It first looked as though it should have been next to the rest stop by a highway instead of downtown Greensboro. Boy was I wrong and I am glad that I was. The person from the back came and took the couple's order that was before me. He was fast and pleasant. There was good music playing. I mentioned that it wasy first time there to get a sandwich. He instantly told me about all of the sandwiches and what the best seller was. I ordered and a few minutes later, I received my sandwich. The sandwich was delicious but the only thing, for what I paid, I got a sandwich equal to the smallest size sandwich at Jimmy Johns. I would have paid less at Jimmy Johns for the same size sandwich.

Yelp
Every sandwich I've ordered since The Bodega was recommended has been fantastic. Favorites so far are the Ham & Jam, Gucci Belt, Bed-Stay Boomer, Cobb Sammie. I'm sure I'll just keep adding the entire menu to my list of favorites as I try them in the future! Cool shop with trendy t-shirts, snacks, and a good selection of adult beverages. Definitely a sweet place to check out in Greensboro. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Best sandwiches & salads In Greensboro hands down! No one can beat the freshness of their ingredients. Everything I've ever ordered always tastes amazing, my favorite is the Gucci Belt. The convenience of grabbing a delicious meal inside of a bodega is unmatched. There's a massive selection of drinks and snacks to choose from to accompany your meal. I love this local spot, if you haven't tried it, you're missing out!

Yelp
Great sandwiches and the bartender was very helpful telling about the choices The sandwiches are so much like what I'm used to getting in Jersey.

Yelp
Great sandwiches and selection of products! It took a while to make them but they were tasty and high quality. Staff was super friendly and love the funky decor.

Yelp
The only thing missing besides much more stuff crammed onto the shelves is a cat to make this a New York Bodega. It's quite a bit cleaner than any in New York, for sure! Whether you want their huge sandwiches (and pro tip - they will make it a salad without bread) or are looking for a drink or snack, come visit The Bodega. The service is fast and the food is as fresh as can be. Want to sit and have a beer or wine - go right ahead. Directly across from the Carolina Theater, The Bodega offers food and snacks plus Sunday morning Yoga and other pop-up events. A bit off the beaten path of Elm St., the walk around the block is well worth it.

Heather O.

Yelp
Expensive salads, no meat. I wish I would've gone elsewhere. Next time I know and will go to Crafted.

Yelp
As I live in waking distance of Downtown Greensboro, I was very excited when I started hearing great things about this convenience store and sandwich shop. I have to be honest that I have mostly used it for the delicious sandwiches, but it also looks like a great convenience store with a plethora of snack and drink options. They also have a couples beers on tap that you can enjoy on site via the seating at the check out counter or their outside patio. I typically get my sandwiches to-go l, and there is a lot of sandwiches to choose from available in half and whole size. The half is enough to satisfy for me, but sometimes I go for the whole as they are delicious the next day too.The bread is also very good. It's fluffy, soft, easy to eat with just a little crunch. My top three are the Roast beef & cheddar, Gucci belt, and Soco. The Roast Beef & Cheddar is a bit messy as it's super saucy (not complaining), with habanero Jack horseradish Dijonnaise, pepper relish, and olive oil. It also comes with sharp cheddar, onion, arugula, and cracked black pepper. Solid sandwich. Good amount of roast beef and a nice kick. The Gucci Belt is a very good version of an Italian sub. It comes with salami, mortadella, mozzarella, giardiniera spread, lettuce, tomato, Mayo, onion, oregano, oil, and vinegar. The ingredients are all super fresh and just delicious together. My favorite so far has probably been the Soco. I've been on a bit of a pimento cheese kick lately and theirs is very good and plentiful. This sandwich is ham, turkey, pimento cheese, Chipotle Mayo, banana peppers, roasted red pepper, romaine, tomato, and onion. Great layers of flavor here. Bodega definitely never skimps on their ingredients and every time I have visited the subs have been great. You can call in orders, or order there to-go, in addition to eating there. Generally food comes pretty fast, unless they get super backed up. But even if that happens, their sandwiches are worth the wait!

Yelp
Greensboro is a burger and sandwich town. The food in this city is next-level good, but there's stiff competition when it comes to toppings between bread. That's why I mince no words when I say this is the best sandwich place in town. Their sandwiches are LOADED with fresh, local toppings for the same prices as Jimmy Johns, et al. There's never any reason to eat at a chain again in GSO. Pop by Greene St. and shop for all the necessities while the sandwich chefs cook you up the last new sandwich you'll ever need. A-friggin-plus. No notes.

Yelp
Love seeing new businesses in the triad, especially downtown. The Bodega is a cute little grocery store slangggin sandwiches and such. First came here on a food tour when we moved back from Asheville and loved everything about it. Their sandwiches are a mix of classic favorites with WTF, this combo can't work (spoiler alert, it does). Recently I got one of their specials and it had a few different kinds of meats, cheese, the classic toppings with pepper jelly and it was so unique + so good. To wash it all down, get one of their local beverages like this sunshine drank! We love a low sugar option made closeby.

Yelp
The Bodega. This is a nice little gem downtown. It's a classic NYC style convenience store that also has a small kitchen with some nice fresh made sandwiches. The wife and I walked in, we each got a half sandwich. I got the Jimmy Pesto, she got the gucci belt. The guy working the counter was super nice. He also ran the small bar where they have several beers on tap. We browsed the wine and beer while we waited, and in a few minutes they were done. We had places to go so we took them in the car. Both sandwiches were very nice and flavorful. The pesto aioli is very good. However, I'd say the Gucci belt my wife ordered won the day. The meat was super flavorful and toppings really tied the sandwhich together in a nice way. Check this place out for a quick beer or sandwich to go.

Yelp
Killer sammiches, great vibe, nice people, and it's fun to say. I loved the old school convenience store vibe. It was a fun place to sit and eat and the server Moss was a class act. Great to go beer selections. The sandwich was great! I can't wait to go back and try some others. I went with the ham and jam...The whole sandwich was a big meal. I loved the arugula/jam flavors. Cool local beer selection on tap too.
google avatar

Marva J.

Yelp
Great place for the BEST Sandwiches, I crave the Gucci belt and the sandwich is arranged to taste great and always fresh. You can't go wrong on the sandwiches. The store definitely has a neighborhood feel and is an asset to downtown . I will say some of the items are a little pricey but that's what you pay for the quick convenience . The staff always gets my order correct and very laid back which can be refreshing.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
Welp, I've got a new favorite sandwich place. Tried the Ham + Jam... so good! The different meats, combined with Brie and the pepper jelly / strawberry jam plus a touch of arugula were a great combo. The hint of sweet strawberry was my favorite part! Ended up grabbing a local screen print shirt from Cut the Music Prints (@ctmpgso) and a candle from Loretta & Greene. Will def be back for more good eats and treats!
google avatar

Yelp
Some of the best sandwiches in Greensboro. Full Stop. If I lived downtown, this place would be a giant problem for my waist and my wallet, because I don't think I'd ever make my own sandwich again, and best believe... this man consumes many sandwiches. The bread is fantastic. It comes from a local bakery daily (they do not have any ovens or the like on premises, cold sandwiches only I believe). They have a wide variety of sandwich combinations, with one-off sandwiches being dreamt up and offered all the time. You can customize your sandwiches a bit, for example, I enjoy getting the veggie sub which has so many delicious items in it and simply adding ham or turkey. By this point, my friends and I have tried the entirety of their sandwich menu, and it is all fantastic. I would say my favorite sandwich other than my veggie add meat concoction above has to be the Gucci Belt. It's really just a top notch italian style sandwich, and the combo of fresh mozzerella and their gardiniera spread gives is this nice creaminess to go with the salt of the cured meats. For a unique sandwich, go for the Ham and Jam. I recommend bringing a friend and going halvsies on the two sandwiches above. Beyond sandwiches, plenty of convenience store fare is available, like sodas and chips for your sandwiches as well as beer and wine. The Bodega is really hitting the mark, and making a lot of sandwich lovers very happy!

Yelp
This place caught my eye while driving downtown so I just HAD TO visit the next day. When you first walk in, it does look like a small little corner store (hence the name Bodega) however it has imported all the goods you could ask for from up north. My coworker from Maine said I had to try a beverage (pictured; peach sparkling water) that she could only find as a child. It also has snacks that you can't find anywhere else in this area. The cashier was super helpful when it came down to order. The menu is on the wall and written in chalk. It's a variety of sandwiches and salads. I was seriously tempted to order everything! My decision was made by the cashier after I gave him my tip three options from the menu and my hunger level. I opted for the Cobb salad, a can of liquid death water, and the sparkling crystal water. First off, this is no ordinary salad. Although I knew what toppings were going to be on it, I wasn't expected it to be sooo bountiful! Bacon, blue cheese crumbles, seasoned tomatoes, and an avocado spread (I usually don't like a avocados however it looked appealing with its fresh crack black pepper and flaky salt). I could go on and on about how good this salad was. I couldn't finish it in one sitting but it was just as good later on (....the next day don't judge me!) We ate outside in the patio and get this: he brings you your food while you're waiting! Was not expecting that. My coworker's sub looked amazing! I will be back to try the Ham and Jam!
google avatar

Elexis D.

Yelp
I needed a good sandwich while I was downtown and stopped by the Bodega and wasn't disappointed. I got a Turkey Caesar and it was THICKK, do you see the extra K, because it needs it! I honestly could not finish the sandwich. I would have liked having more options that that didn't include red meat but that sandwich was good.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
A friend of ours posted a photo of a sandwich from the Bodega and that's all it took for us to try this place out. We got a little too excited and ordered 5 sandwiches for 4 people. We figured we'd cut them up so that we could try a bit of everything. Oops. These sandwiches are enormous and heavy! Loaded with delicious deli meats and interesting toppings. You can easily make 2-3 meals out of one sandwich, but no judgment if you can't make it last that long. They are really good. Of the ones we tried, I didn't have a favorite or least favorite, because they were all so amazing: Gucci Belt: basically a really fancy Italian, that's really, really good; Greek Turkey: so pleased I don't have to travel far for this delight; Roast Beef & Cheddar: the horseradish dijonnaise and the red pepper relish are perfect together; Jimmy Pesto: I have nothing clever for this, but you should try it anyway; and Ham & Jam: bruh...this one is packed with flavor: ham, hot capicola, chorizo, brie, strawberry jam, pepper relish. That strawberry jam makes it stand out from the others. The Bodega is a great stop in downtown Greensboro with excellent sandwiches and a fun variety of foods, drinks, and nostalgia. Definitely worth a trip to try them out.

Yelp
The bodega is a small corner store downtown, that sells all-you-could need PLUS sandwiches! Cashier was very friendly, I was surprised how good the jimmy pesto" sandwich was. I got a footlong plus some other items for under $20 total. I went bc my coworker told me it was within walking distance and she would stop in on her way home from work. I do live in the other direction, but I love a good sandwich! There was a shaded outside area with a few tables and chairs to sit and eat your sandwiches or drink a cold one! No bugs! I didn't get a snap of the sandwich, but I will next time - Picture includes the drinks I got. Also there is not much parking at the bodega, maybe 3 spots? you might have to park and walk over from the nearby lot or street parking.

Hinton O.

Yelp
Got the Chicken Donatella. I probably could have eaten 2. Very flavorful and tasty. I'll probably get the same thing next time. Check out this cheese pull... it's legit. 10/10

Yelp
The Bodega has quite the selection of very unique and interesting sandwiches, but as unique as they are, they still maintain familiar and comforting flavors and ingredients. The ingredients were high quality, fresh, and packed with flavor. I had the Gucci Belt (sans tomatoes) and it was on a completely different level from your run of the mill sub shop. I look forward to returning and trying more of their amazing sounding creations.
google avatar

Yelp
The Bodega is very true to its name. This place was recommended to us by one of the bartenders at Pig Pounder, so we gave it a shot. At a first glance it looks like a convenience store with a couple of draft beer lines, but they also have a fairly decent sized food menu with sandwiches and salads. There is limited bar seating inside and additional outdoor seating on the patio. The guy working behind the bar was friendly and knew about the food offerings. We had a couple of half subs (half and whole options) that were very tasty with fresh ingredients. Food didn't take very long to get made and delivered. There are a myriad of drink options from their coolers (beer, wine, nonalcoholic beverages.) It was pricey but worth coming back to nonetheless. For our two half sandwiches, two small bags of chips, and two sparkling waters, our bill was $39 and change after tax and tip. Seems like a good spot to grab a quick and delicious lunch either there or on the go.
google avatar

Lianna M.

Yelp
The Bodega is a pint-sized convenience store in downtown Greensboro. They've got *nearly* everything you need to survive: cold drinks, laundry detergent, snacks, candles, hot sauce, and more. A large draw to this charming corner store is their incredible sandwich menu (all of the sandwiches are available as a wrap, salad, or sammie). Items such as the Gucci Belt (capicola, mortadella, salami, ham, provolone, mozzarella) and the Jimmy Pesto (ham, turkey, hot capicola, swiss cheese, pesto mayo) are as tasty as their playful names suggest. They have a cute outdoor patio area smack dab next to them with a handful of tables.

Yelp
I had been wanting to check out the sandwiches at The Bodega for weeks now and something always came up! I am so glad I finally got to try two of the amazing sandwiches The Gucci Belt and The special Turkey Bacon Ranch. These sandwiches are HUGE and flavorful! Honestly, I think these are some of the best sandwiches I've had in Greensboro and I can't wait to try more on the menu! I definitely recommend stopping by! Also, they have tons of snacks, candys, beers/wine and event pregnancy test Pretty much a one stop shop!
google avatar

Adam W.

Yelp
Awesome little downtown convenience store with eclectic merchandise and a great selection of craft beverages. Now on to the best part... AMAZING SANDWICHES! I mean no doubt best cold cut sandwiches around. The Gucci Belt, their take on an Italian, rocked. It's pricey at about $12 out the door, but it's massive enough to feed two! All of the ingredients were top notch or homemade! The bread was absolutely perfect.

Kassey W.

Yelp
My kind of spot. Love the random collection of items. We had the Gucci belt and chicken Donatella. I think my daughter ate it in about 2 seconds - "best sandwich ever". Out of town visiting but putting this on my must hit list next time we are here. We might have to stop again tomorrow for the drive home! Owner is super nice too.

Codie M.

Yelp
These guys are great. They put a lot of care into their food and work hard every day to keep things going. I hope they expand more, simply because they deserve to.

Yelp
Think about the best sub you've ever had in your life. Now, imagine you can get this sub right here in Downtown Greensboro! The Bodega has 13 of the most creative and delicious sub sandwiches I've ever had in my life (yes in my entire 42 years on the planet)! The bread they use is out of the world, they don't skimp on the meat, the flavors are mind blowing. Try the Gucci Belt if you like a good Italian sub or the Jimmy Pesto for a flavor explosion in your mouth. Tell Daniel we sent ya and enjoy some of their delicious craft beers while you're there.
google avatar

Lindsey S.

Yelp
Effing delicious! Absolutely love these subs ! I can't stop ordering the Greek (no pickles). Perfect bread, flavorful sauce, generous portion of delicious turkey and the feta on a sub is the best. In a chill, clean convenience stop- great to pick up drinks, beer, chips etc. can't think of a better sub in Gboro.
google avatar

Katie W.

Yelp
Simple sandwiches, nice people, small store with outdoor seating in alley. Stopped on way through Greensboro.

Yelp
O. M. G. This place is truly a gem in Greensboro! The sandwiches were so fresh and the flavors were delicious! I'm still thinking about the "Cobb Sammie". My partner got the "Greek Turkey" and loved it. We went on a Sunday and the service was fantastic!! While we were there waiting for our sammies (which did not take long at all) we browsed the shelves and found many more goodies . We left with wine, sandwiches, chips and sweets. I love this place and definitely plan to go back.
google avatar

Susan C. F.

Yelp
The food here was amazing. Subs, sandwiches and salads. There is very limited indoor seating, but plenty of space outside. It looks more like a convenience store when you walk in, but everything we ordered was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out since my usual deli shut down in the area. First thought when I walked in, I was impressed by selection of snack & drinks they had. Some things I've never seen before and I wanted to buy them all to try. They have a variety of sandwiches you can choose from and you can get toasted. I got the Greek Turkey, which I really liked. The veggies were fresh and it was a good ol' sandwich. My colleagues got The Gucci belt, & the Caesar Turkey. They didn't like the Caesar Turkey that much, since in their opinion was a bit bland. As for The Gucci belt, they loved it and would definitely get it again. The prices are on the higher side for a convenience store/deli but that usually comes with small businesses. Service was good, but can definitely use an extra body during lunch rush. It was only one cashier and one person in the back. They have an outdoor patio which is nice to enjoy and relax. Overall, this place is definitely worth checking out!
google avatar

Chad W.

Yelp
Great little downtown sandwich place/market with a good selection of unique sandwiches. I got the Tony Saprano. Taste good and huge. Only complaint was a little heavy on the mayo, but I'm not much of a mayo guy either. Also have beer and wine selection. Have a handful of outdoor tables for dining.

Yelp
definitelt reminded me of New York style bodegas but cleaner and alot more space including bar stools and outdoor seating. There is plenty of snacks, drinks inside fairly priced and definitely overpriced household goods/emergency items. I liked the how they brought in items from small biz owners. Not a quick turnaround if you order onsite, i think i waited between 15-20 min. But thats okay cus the sandos are bomb. The bread skinnier baguettes. Nice crust on them and held toppings well cus they were stuffed full. I was hesistant of a $19 sandwich but the tony saprano was worth it (i love cappicola, salami, mortadella, and chorizo). Then, 1/2 sandwich ham and jam. I thought it would be too sweet but there was a little heat to balance the palette. So both were subtle and sublime.

Yelp
Wow! What a pleasant surprise hidden in downtown Greensboro! Never having a Jimmy John's sandwich ever again! The menu is superb, quality amazing, flavor fantastic! Clean and great service. They have draft and cans too and most of what you would find in a convenience store. Now that we live downtown this will be a regular place for us!

Yelp
Beware when purchasing from this store. I purchased some chips and 2 drinks as I was with my friends's son and we needed to get in and out. A few mins later, I checked the receipt as something seemed off with the total. So. I went back and asked how much were the chips and she said $3.89. I asked why was that a dollar more than what was listed on the bag and was told "oh that's the suggested price, but we can charge what we want !" I was shocked. She should have disclosed that. This place is all around suspect and dishonest. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. People obviously like their sandwiches, but they think no one will notice what they are doing with the prices for everything else. Never again will I buy anything from this establishment.

Yelp
I trusted Yelp coming here to this new, sparsely reviewed spot for lunch and was glad I did. I split the full version of the Ham Jam for lunch, was the perfect sweet and salty combo I didn't know I needed. Portion was great for splitting, though I'm sure a really hungry person could eat a full one. If I lived in the area, I would definitely make this a regular spot to try all their sandwiches.

Yelp
It was a little confusing at first walking in. Looked like a store not a sub shop. It would have been nice if the girl behind the counter welcomed us in or even asked if she could help. I never understand why as a customer I need to engage the employee for help. I went in with five people and it was obvious we were confused. We couldn't be bothered for help from the girl behind the counter. Yes the sub was great but the customer service was terrible. Great sub but I will go other places that will respect my business more.
