"If you’ve something special to celebrate, this marble-fronted restaurant inside The Club Hotel & Spa is the place to come – and cocktails in the bar are all part of the experience. It’s a chic place, where bright linen-clad tables stand out against dimly lit, dark wood walls. Eye-catching dishes offer natural, well-balanced flavours and an occasional hint of playfulness, while the chefs clearly understand how to use techniques to enhance rather than overshadow the fine produce. Pescatarians and vegetarians are well looked after." - Michelin Inspector

Impromptu roast at The Bohemia. On entering the bar is clean, tidy, and well presented. We found a table and within minutes staff had greeted us and taken our drinks and meal orders. Drinks arrived quickly, and because the bar was busy and we had a short wait, when they brought our drinks, they gave us a cup of complimentary popcorn to keep us going! It's an absolutely brilliant idea! (The popcorn was lovely, by the way). Our Sunday roasts arrived quicker than we expected for a busy bar. I had the nut roast, and hubby had the slow braised beef... they were exceptional!! There is nothing i can fault or complain about. The roasties were crunchy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy in the middle. The veg was seasoned to perfection, and no word of a lie, the nut roast was the best i have ever had! And as for the Yorkshire pudding, well, it was huge but just melted as you ate it!! Throughout our meal, the staff were really attentive, they made sure we were happy with our food and had enough drinks to keep us going. We regularly find ourselves in North Finchley, but i have never ventured into The Bohemia.. that will definitely change from now onwards, and we will definitely be back for another roast!!

Great craft beer place, including, at least, 4 cask ales (and several ciders but I don't drink those). Hard to distinguish between The Bohemia and the London Brewing Company - assume the same but they have separate entries (with different closing times) on Google, which was a bit confusing! Sat in the "beer garden" (out the back not the front) but looked nice enough inside too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Top quality place and worth the bus ride from Hendon.

Great selection of nice clean beer, brewed on site! Really tasty food with a few vegan options. Their Tempura Broccoli is something special. Definitely recommend you try this pub. They have a beer garden and large indoor screens for sports.

I went there for the Sunday Roast, it wasn't super busy during lunchtime when we arrived, but they had a lot of tables booked. People were very welcoming, and the service was very quick. The menu is pretty solid, with all the classic dishes you can find at the pub, but with some interesting beer selections. The food was delicious, and even the sizes were definitely huge (maybe even too much). From a price point of view, we spent two regular dishes and two beers, an average of £25 per person. It's def a nice place, a great vibe and a lot of space. It was a bit pricy (but I guess this is the new normal). I'm definitely happy to go back again.

There’s a lovely atmosphere. It’s got a cosy vibe and I regularly go to here to catch up with friends as ordering is relatively quick and simple and there are a wide range of seating options available. There’s a gaming area and a pool table. Toilets are available, though they are upstairs. There are different alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to choose from too.

I've lived in this area for a while now but never thought to go here to eat It looked more like a beer destination. I've been so wrong. The place is huge, there are two outside areas to enjoy , clean and airy with lots of seating and the food is exceptional. the starters are quite generous. Be aware not to overorder. Must try this place for yourself.

The Bohemia has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with fast service and plenty of space—great for private events. I’ve visited a couple of times, and the staff have always been helpful. Service at the bar is impressively quick, even when it's busy. Both visits were for private events in the basement, which is easy to find and spacious enough for dancing or hosting gatherings. The venue overall is quite large, with lots of seating available. A standout detail is the clean and well-maintained toilets, which isn’t always expected in a bar setting. The only minor drawback is that the basement can get quite warm during the summer, so keep that in mind for larger events. Overall, a great spot for casual drinks or private events with a smooth and efficient experience!

Yelp
This local brew pub reopened in Finchley this summer, and already the place is packed on the weekends. The interior reminds me a lot of American brew pubs. Spacious, a slightly industrial look, large, rectangular open space, and brewing equipment in the back. There's an additional space in the basement, which I wouldn't recommend. It's a little lackluster and unfinished looking, not much atmosphere. Stick to the upstairs, and especially the comfy leather couches. There's a photo booth for entertainment (warning: they and the photobooth company retain copies of all photos for promotional use). As far as dining options go, they've got a good pub menu, with beer can chicken, sandwiches, cheddar-ale soup, sausage rolls, and wings. I was here very late at night, so I didn't get a chance to try the food, but we did have a nice bowl of nuts that tasted like it was home-roasted with sugar and spices.

Yelp
This is a nice local pub with a lovely atmosphere, more sophisticated than your average pub as it brews its own beer. I visited at 7pm on a Sunday and it was relatively quiet though most tables were occupied. There is a downstairs area with table tennis and additional seating however it lacks atmosphere as it is essentially in a basement with no windows. For drinks, my friend and I had wine as we are not big beer drinkers which were reasonably priced. As we were peckish we shared a large portion of spicy chicken wings which were to die for!! They were well presented and came with a garlic dip. The staff were friendly and came over to check if everything was alright. Had a nice, relaxing evening and will definitely be coming back

Yelp
They've gone all craft beer and American diner (well food wise). It was an old theatre and is huge. Can be quite noisy. There's now a London Brewing Co beer thing in the pub itself. Lots of import beers too. The food kitchen is called Bellybusters. Says it all, but didn't eat here but portions looked reasonable looking at other tables. Definite improvement on how it used to be.

Yelp
Initially, a welcome contrast from the Wetherspoon style dives in N12, with decent craft beers and passable pub gastronomy. However on weekends, this place seems to turn into a chavtastic underage meat market complete with authentic rude staff & plebeian bouncers. Refurb or not - once a shithole, always a shithole.

Yelp
Meh. As a gastro pub this place is not so exciting. Our roast lamb was rare even though my wife was assured they serve it well done and my roast was very fatty and also rare. Yorkshire pudding looked awesome but was dry and crusty. The atmosphere and beer was okay though.

Yelp
By far and away the best bar in the Barnet/North Finchley area. Large enough for the kids to roam around without bumping into anything. A fantastic range of beers and ales with a varied menu. A range of events run throughout the week from the weekly quiz on Tuesday's to Sing-Along Sundays. Perfect for popping in for a quick drink or spending a lazy afternoon.

Yelp
Great pub with micro brewery. Food is ace and beers/ciders are v good. Have some cool nights on from time to time and the staff are always friendly. Lovely atmosphere and decor.

Yelp
Definitely the best pub in North/Central Finchley. Great selection of beers and ciders. Good board games and seating as well. The Wednesday Chicken wings deal is definitely worth it :)

Yelp
I went here after working all day and then taking a 6 hour flight to London. I was exhausted and had not eaten in quite a while. My husband and I were snubbed at the Tally Ho. The locals pushed in front of us in line and the staff at the Tally Ho ignored us. We walked out and up the street and discovered The Bohemia. We were greeted by the friendly staff. I had a veggie burger which was homemade and delicious. My husband had the chicken Kiev which he said was excellent. I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
This is the best pub in North Finchley by a country mile! Okay, it is quite expensive compared to the other pubs in the area, but that also means you don't get harangued by random people and you are left to enjoy your drinks and/or food in peace. The selection of draughts is impressive as is the wine. Food is top for a gastro pub. Atmosphere is great there. I've been with the girls for wine and with business clients for a catch up and it was suitable for both. The team there are an absolute credit and they can't do enough to help you without being over bearing. Always ready with a smile. I look forward to going back there time and time again. The whole place is just somewhere you want to be and quite often one drink turns to many as everyone is enjoying themselves!
