The service was great even if the wait was long. The servers are very very polite and I really appreciated that. The food was good but nothing that stood out. The flavor was just okay and I couldn’t really taste anything specific in the sauce that stood out in the shabang sauce.

I am very concerned about the oversight at this location. The server in the first picture wanted to limit our larger party to 4 checks when we needed 5. He noted that he had someone run out on him earlier. I wasn't aware of the entire situation until about 20 minutes later when I realized that the birthday party hadn't started, and we hadn't even got a glass of water. According to the manager in the second picture, this is not the policy. Was it what the server wanted? I didn't realize that the server created the company's policies. I provided the manager with my driver's license and my Platinum card. This is not the first time we've ever been here with a large party, and we've never requested this before. However, if this will make him feel better, so be it. The manager, realizing that this was wrong, said no, no, that's okay, we'll get you served immediately. The food was late even after we had sat there for a good 40 minutes. The food needed to be the right spice. In other words, they were punishing us with hot food. And then food that we didn't receive at this large party because we know restaurants never make mistakes, right? He said that was our fault even though 5 minutes before I explained to him that we still had one more plate, he was still bringing out more food. I attempted to email corporate, hoping that I could have a conversation, and I got a copy-and-paste inquiry. Perhaps instead of assuming that everything is a complaint. They could reply please let us know about your compliment or your concern. I can certainly sympathize with the fact that sometimes things don't go as planned as far as tickets being missed and people not paying. However, making a pivot choice on the spot and smirking about it is a problem. I hope that they can do better. I'd requested a district or an operation manager contact me so I could voice my concerns and discuss the opportunities. All my requests were replied to by a form letter. The business card in the front should have an additional email for the district or the operation mailbox and an additional phone number. These folks were a little too comfortable making these pivot choices that were not customer-friendly. In other words, they don't have accountability because someone has to climb the mountain to get someone of accountability, like a district manager. I hope they figure it out. They offered a 30% discount for transparency, and I increased the tip to 25% t

The best, most delicious seafood, ever! Everything here is yummy, even the soft drinks. The service is always excellent. It’s a fun place to dine with writing on the walls, and a ship theme. Great music and service, parking is not great! Their french fries are so delicious, well seasoned, and fresh.

Had a good time at this particular boiling crab. They get real busy but the workers are very accommodating. Plenty of parking and food was good.

I’ve been coming for a while now and never had and never had any issues until today we always get good customer service today was not it the crawfish was all black and not even fully cooked as I’m eating there’s a snail in my crawfish I was eating dirty crawfish they need to be reported to the health department if I get sick off this I will be getting a lawyer. That is very unsanitary

Excellent service and amazing food! Will definitely recommend this place to others! Hubby and I had our anniversary dinner here and really enjoyed it. We were glad we ended up at this restaurant, the staff were so helpful and friendly. They explained the menu to us and were extremely helpful. Food was delivered to our table within minutes. Service is quicker than a fast food establishment. Keep up the great service and amazing food!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the best place I ever had, the fries are amazing the crab, shrimp and mussels are given in a bag with unique sauce with taste garlic and spices. The corn on the cob is the best. I love this place and been here for more than 3 time. You can also ask them as per your spicy level. Always be there early if not the wait would be 35 - 45 minutes.

This place receives 5 star for finger licking spicy food they serve. We ordered Snow Crab with Corn, Sausage, and shrimp. Also side of Cajun Fries and Sweet Potato fries. All of them tasted amazing with whole Sha-bang and medium spice level.

Came for a friend's birthday to try it out for the first time, and it's all I've been thinking about since I left. Got a bag with snow crab legs and crawfish with hard boiled eggs and corn add-ons, with the Shebang sauce (all 3 sauces together, trust me just do it) and a side of Cajun fries (mild) and white rice. The Cajun fries were well-seasoned, crispy, and actually a bit spicy, but the rice was the perfect accompaniment to the saucy, sweet crab and crawfish meat. The seafood was fresh and tender, delicious with the shebang sauce or simply dipped in melted butter. There's something comforting about sitting at a big table with your friends and family, eating with your hands; the caveman dna coming through I suppose. Next time I'll try the sausage and potatoes add-ons as well since everyone else at my table loved them so much. Literally dreaming of coming here again!

I came here because we used to have a location in Houston that I enjoyed but I was not impressed sadly. I got fried fish and it didn't taste like catfish nor was it seasoned or crispy enough. I will give it another chance and try a boil bag. Maybe this last time I went too far out on a limb. But the location is spacious and lively I'll say!

Came on a Sunday, the location had lots of seating and definitely had a sailor vibe. Service for our food was fairly quick since we came a little after opening but everyone was friendly. Calamari rings were good and crispy. Rice wasn't very good and couldn't taste the shrimp through the heavy seasoning. We got the spiciest xxx the whole shabang and it wasn't very spicy.

This place is soooo good! We came almost right when they opened at 3 to avoid the line. I ordered 2 pounds of crawfish with the mix of all 3 flavors, I got medium. The crawfish was so juice and they were big also! I loved their fries, the were crispy and seasoned. I can see why this place always has a wait, it's so yummy! I also tried the crab fries, very good! I would recommend them if you like crab

Food is good except for the piece of shell I got on an order of fried oysters. Philip was our waiter, he seems like he did not want to be our waiter. Minutes later another waiter came instead. Then he was back later. My wife ordered a michelada and it was disgusting, he poured the whole bottle of spicy sauce, so she ordered a second drink, margarita. Once again, the prices are very high for the whole experience . Does it need to be chill? Because is the Louisiana style? This was a second chance, it was worse than the first time. I even tipped him 40.00 for bad service. I just don't get it.

can't go wrong here. the seafood boil always hits the spot. i like getting a pound of shrimp, whole shabang, 2 corn and potatoes if im feeling it and it always leaves me feeling satisfied.

Took my mama for a new experience at the Boiling Crab, since we love seafood. We truly enjoyed ourselves. We were greeted and sat down quickly for a Saturday afternoon. My mom liked the unique table covers and was amused that we had to use bibs and our fingers to eat. We got a pound of shrimp, potatoes, and 2 corns. It was plenty for both of us. It was a fun experience, despite the mess we made using our hands to eat, and our waiter lacked a bit of attention. Thankfully the manager was helping out. The ambiance is chill & casual. We will definitely be coming back.

Amazing but hate the wait !! The wait time is not less than an hour to be seated !! Other than that it's worth the wait food was delicious flavor wise kids enjoyed the experience

The food is expensive but worth EVERY PENNY. You want awesome crab legs, shrimp, sausage, and corn, this is the place to go. I've been here in two different occasions and both times the service and the food was awesome. Don't walk, run to this place.

My family and I really enjoy this place. We used to visit the old location but there was always a wait time since the place was small, so it was a pleasant surprise to see this new location with ample space. The restaurant is very clean and I love the decor and ambiance. The service is as good as before, always very attentive and friendly servers plus the manager always walks around the place to check in on everyone. The food is our main reason to visit, there are so many seafood boil places but nothing comes close. The seasoning is the best! We love the whole shebang -medium. The crab legs and sausage are my favorite. Highly recommend this location!

Food was amazing and service was amazing. It's a little on the pricey side paid 200$ for me and one more person but it was overall delicious.

Consistent flavors, fresh seafood no matter which location we go to, and it's well worth the wait. We always get raw oysters, a few snow crab legs, a couple pounds of spicy crawfish & shrimp, corn and potatoes. Went to their new location in Dallas and tried their fresh clams for the very first time - yum! I'm not sure why we've never though to order those before...maybe because we aren't allowed to import fresh crawfish in Michigan, so that's always first on our minds as opposed to the clams? We also got deep fried soft shell crab; crunchy, juicy, and meaty, and a lot bigger than I was expecting! Their loaded crab fries came with real chunks of lump crab meat, and it mixed well with the garlic aioli. I've never had a bad experience at any Boiling Crab locations, and it's one of the first things I add to my list of places to eat when we travel to the West Coast! So glad they're expanding more and more!

I order takeout from this location all the time. Normally I order the mussels with a side of eggs in the whole shabang sauce. The eggs in the whole shabang sauce is my favorite only because the eggs are normally drenched in the sauce. I ordered the catfish with fries and a side of eggs in the whole shabang sauce like 2 weeks ago. Once I made it home like 5 minutes later my food was already cold. I called and spoke to the manager on duty and explained I come to this location frequently and I've never experienced my food being cold once I'm home. The manager agreed to replace the complete order. I ordered the catfish with fries and a side of eggs with the whole shabang sauce today. Once I made it home like 5 minutes later the fish was still hot, the fries were warm and the eggs were border line cold not even warm. Not only that but it seemed like there was just about no sauce in the bag with the eggs. Like I previously stated I've been coming to this location for over a year and I've never experienced this.

Food is always good and service is fast. Would love for the waitress to come more often to check on refills and if we need anything else. Other than that I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Love their special sauce! And the service is amazing! My son loves coming here and reading all the writings on the wall. Took my mom here for crab and it was bigger than her head. She very much enjoyed it!

Hands down the most underrated seafood restaurant I've ever had! Service is good too but could be better. The environment is laid back but it's definitely a place to go too.

I remember when there was a time when I had to visit this place at least twice a week !' After a misunderstanding a couple of years ago , I vowed to never return again . Only recently I was missing and craving that whole shebang seasoning, plus this is the only place I know who always has decent size clams. I'm going to make this review short and simple , I remembered why I stop coming !! The wait is still ridiculously long, we waited an hour to be seated. Prices are crazy high and quality of food is way beneath the prices! The sauce was really really thick , kind of like pasty. Another upgrade that I wasn't fond of was the gender neutral bathrooms!! I waited in line forever for the bathrooms to walk in behind a man who pissed all over the seat(GROSS)!! I wanted to be sure before I permanently crossed them (boiling crab ) off my list !! I figured with a couple of years separation I'd be able to have a fresh start and give a fresh perspective! Only I still have the same impression of this establishment as before . Food is decent , however , It's simply just not for me !!

Great food, great atmosphere THE WHOLE SHABANG!!! Fried shrimp basked is awesome, you can tell the shrimp isn't frozen!!

I really enjoyed the food, when you're thinking about the sauce get the whole shabang! It was my first seafood boil and it was amazing! My order Sauce: the whole shabang Spice level: medium - 1/2 lb shrimp (they come with the head/skin on) - 1 corn - 3 potatoes - 3 boiled eggs - 2 blue crabs - 1 lb sausage My total was $44 (rounded up) I didn't finish, my food, so I saved it for my siblings. My shrimp tasted mushy when I first received it, and it was replaced with no problem and it was great the second time. This is a 10/10 !!!

Definitely the best spot for boils! The sauce has the perfect blend. Might have to wait a bit but goes to show how good the food is!

Great food! I'm a huge fan of the Lemmon pepper wings here! They are always fresh and large wings that will have you craving more .

Good service - 4.5 Didn't offer gloves. We saw other tables had them. Food - 4 Cajun sauce on the crawfish was excellent. Provided bibs. Crawfish were on the small side but I am told that maybe it is to early in the season. Ambiance - 5 relax, casual

We loved this place!!! There was a little bit of a wait as they weren't taking reservations, but we hopped on the Yelp waitlist which saved us some time. All in all, it was only about 30 mins from joining the waitlist to being seated. The prices were reasonable - $16/lb shrimp, $14/lb crawfish, $40/lb snow crab. The servers were all so friendly and service was prompt. Definitely recommend the shabang sauce which is a combo of all of the flavors. We did medium spice which was delicious. The micheladas are amazing too. We'll be back soon for sure.

Thanks Texas for the great crab! Hole in the wall crab shack but equivalent to the Crafty Crabs that they have over in Florida. You basically come in, sit anywhere, tables get covered with a big sheet of paper and then throw your crab legs and lobster all over the table... Definitely a mess of an eating situation but that's how it goes with these crab shacks. King Crabs were great, shrimp and corn was pretty good, spices here are very interesting, a bit too much. Overall, we had a great time.

I got 2 lbs of crawfish in the whole she-bang flavor with corn and potatoes to go. It was SO good! It's pricey but I expected that now that I'm in Dallas and not Houston. I love my Viet Cajun crawfish and this place is it.

My go-to crawfish season in Dallas. Absolutely love the flavor and size of the crawfish when it's the season for them! Wish they were onen during lunchtime because whenever we stop here we usually are on the way to winstar. Line can get really long, so make sure to get there when they open.

This was one of my first times getting seafood boil and Boiling Crab did not disappoint! For a table of three, we got two clusters of snow crab, 1 lb of mussels, 1 lb of shrimp, and some extra corn/potatoes. We ordered the Rajun Cajun in the mild spice level and honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. It had a good flavorful kick to it, enough to really enjoy the flavor of the seafood. They all came in their separate bags and we slowly dug in. I encourage whoever goes to dip into the bags extra to get the sauce because it really made the meal for me. I don't usually eat mussels, but I really really liked them especially with the sauce and the shell made it easy for you to get extra juice. We asked for lemons and butter (but honestly, butter not needed). Apparently, an order of Dungeness crab comes as a whole crab, so we stuck with snow crabs and got around 4 legs total per order. Our server was really friendly and helped us decide what to order as it was our first time. Highly recommend!

It was a very cool experience. The food was great. Well seasoned. Came out in timely fashion. It was our servers first day on the job and he was incredible. Our family came to celebrate a birthday and it was about 10 of us and he did a phenomenal job. The setting was typical for a seafood restaurant. Great experience. Will come back.

Don't bother checking in with the app cause the timing is off. We arrived at our supposed time only to be told that it would be an hour. Fine. No problem. It's a rare date night for us (thanks for ruining it) and we figured we would just wait the hour. Come to find out we only had to wait 40 minutes. Quote high wait times and get them in early to make it seem a little better. They didn't have live Dungeness Crab. They offered a frozen one. Ok no problem. We also ordered snow crab, and 2lbs of shrimp. Oh and rice. I'm the type of person who needs rice at my meal. After placing the order 15 minutes later the waitress comes back and says they don't have rice. She told me it would be 30 minutes. I said fine no problem. 30 minutes passed and they brought out the shrimp. I asked about the rice and she said it would be about 5 minutes. 10 minutes later both crabs came out. I asked the guy who brought the crabs about rice and another guy who was a manager said it would be about 10 more minutes and he said he would just give me the rice without charge. Tried to make it sound like it was a big deal to get rice for free. Fine. 15 minutes more later he comes back and says rice will be ready in 10 more minutes. At that point I'm just angry. My soda had been sitting empty with no refill and they have like 10 people standing behind the counter. We are literally done eating and he they come back and tell me rice is ready would I like rice. The snow crab wasn't that great. And Dungeness Crab which was frozen tasted old. Barely any meat and there was absolutely no way that crab weighed 2lbs. The meat was discolored and it was just a joke. Now if you had just told me that the rice wasn't going to be ready until 10pm after we were done eating I would have ordered some more fries, or maybe corn with another lb of shrimp. Instead what I got on a rare date night for us was a bill for $152 .52 in which I ate 6 pieces of shrimp and had an awkward dinner with my wife where I was just bitter and angry. Luckily my wife took the bill from me and tipped the waitress cause I was on the phone with an employee of mine. I might have been close to not tipping. Regardless of how busy you guys get, you shouldn't think that is ok to stiffen up on service of a table for 2. As I looked around the restaurant, I'm pretty sure for a table for 2 they ordered no liquor $152 is a pretty big ticket.

Hands down the best fried catfish that I have ever tried! Crispy, soft, and has that southern style taste. Would definitely come back again for the fried catfish basket and to try other items.

Came to visit my best friend in Dallas from Houston and had been craving Cajun food all day. We are so happy we decided to stop by because this place is amazing! Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I ordered snow crab and it's the best I've had in a while. I decided to try The Whole Shabang! Garlic sauce and mild spice level. Personally, it was the perfect combo on the menu. My friend ordered XXX with Rajun Cajun, and regretted it. She mostly tasted vinegar with how overpowering the sauce was. Check this place out you won't regret it!

BC just not hitting like it used to anymore 10+ years ago. Their sauce feels different. I always get the whole shebang spicy and it wasn't spicy this time. It also wasn't as red as it used to be. Got the whole shebang crawfish, lemon pepper wings and fries. The lemon pepper wings was sooo good! Probably won't be back because there are far better seafood seasoning around now. Service was great though

*New location* I was hoping to a be able to get on the waitlist through this app but the option isn't here. Fortunately for us we were seated less than 2 minutes after walking in. Customer service was good. This location is more spacious and it seems that they now have a waiting area inside.

Service is not the greatest and not welcoming. So many server walking around doing nothing. Even the security said "someone will eventually come". 15 mins later a gentleman came and greet us saying the current wait time is 45 mins. There are so many empty tables and servers standing around. We walked out and went to kicking crab. This place is falling of the charts. From bad service to downsizing the shrimp to half of what it used to be. Pricing is ridiculously high. I used to wait 2-3 hours just to eat at this chain in California but it was really busy. Here in Dallas, only half the restaurant is occupied and still have to wait 45 mins?.

Boiling crab is one of my favorite places in the world I go here for my birthday ever since Covid ended

It's been a while since we've been back because of the long wait. It's nice that they have the option on reserving a table through Yelp and less waiting over there. The service is still great and food is delicious!!! We got a medium sha-bang sauce and it got a little spicy but it was sooo good that we kept eating it. Hahahaha! Check it out and you won't regret it!!!

I use to go to Boiling Crab once or twice a week. I was obsessed and addicted. One time in 2020 the food didn't taste right, which shocked me, so I tried the other location. The food was just as bland there. I took a break from Boiling Crab because it's too pricey to have a bad taste. I tried it this week after not going a few years and I must say I was disappointed. The food was not the same. The seasoning was off, it was not flavorful. I couldn't even finish my crab. That said, the service was great. BUT, I won't be returning again.
