Singapore's top vegan and vegetarian restaurants

"A short walk from Tai Seng MRT, this Korean-focused kitchen offers vegetarian takes on classic dishes, from a hearty budae jeongol (army stew) brimming with tofu, vegetables and noodles to dolsot bibimbap and a variety of guksu noodle soups. Dishes are crafted without the five alliums (garlic, onion, shallot, leek and chives), alcohol, meat or seafood broths and fish sauces to ensure a genuinely meat-free experience; egg and dairy are optional on some items. The result is familiar Korean flavours reimagined for vegetarian palates." - Hazel Vincent de PaulandMegan Tan

Brought my parent to try the Korean food at Boneless Kitchen. Safe to say, lunch was a hit — they loved everything! I had the Soondubu Jjigae, which was so comforting and had just the right spicy kick to warm the soul. Dad went for the Doenjang Jjigae, a rich, savoury stew that he polished off to the last drop. Mum chose the Mandu Guksu — light and satisfying. We shared the Kimchi Jeon, perfectly crispy with that tangy kick and the Gyeran Mari is soft and fluffy with a gentle sweetness that balanced the meal beautifully. Vegan options are clearly indicated, making it a breeze to order.

Good ambience with a nostalgic touch the moment you step inside. The food I ordered was all very delicious—so tasty that I don’t even have much to comment except that I thoroughly enjoyed everything! I’m not a vegetarian, but I was really impressed with the Korean dishes; they were full of flavour and didn’t have the usual vegetarian taste. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Another bonus—there’s no GST or service charge. Payment is by NETS, cash, or PayNow. Will definitely be back again!

As someone who's always wanted to eat more range of Korean food but couldn't, because most were not vegetarian, it was heartwarming to see so many options that I could try. The soondubujigae tastes quite authentic. I was very impressed with the taste and quantity. Wanted to try more things but I was full. I'd definitely revisit the next time I'm in Singapore.

First time at a all vegetarian Korean restaurant, they don't have these where I come from so its a treat to be able to browse through a full menu of things I can eat! Today we tried the perilla guksu, jjajangmeon, and the perilla gimbap. All were delicious but the star was the perilla guksu! Light and comforting, noodles were perfect texture. Highly recommended. I believe its a family run business, daughter behind the counter not as helpful as the rest of the family. Overall enjoyable experience.

Though there are only vegetarian options, the food here is quite authentic for Korean cuisine. I'd say that there isn't anything special about this place that sets it apart from typical Korean restaurants or vegetarian restaurants though. Prices are acceptable for the quality and quantity offered. We ordered the soontofu stew (which came with rice), kimchi pancake, and fried mushrooms. The soontofu stew was not bad, though not comparable with the one I've had at the specialty soontofu restaurant. I felt that the kimchi taste could be a bit stronger and the tofu didn't fully absorb all the flavour. The kimchi pancake was better than average, it was quite tasty and went well with the dipping sauce. As for the fried mushrooms, it was highly recommended from the reviews, but I personally don't think there's anything special about it and would skip it. There are also side dishes here, which are alright, I'd only consider refilling the potato (yes, they are refillable!). The environment here was kind of hot, it would be nice if their aircon could be colder. This place is usually quite popular, so do make reservations especially if you're visiting on a weekend. Overall, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back again, because it wasn't very impressionable. However, if I'm picking a place to hangout with vegetarian friends, this place would be quite high on the list.

First visit and I think the flavour of the food is good :) I love the bibimbap and that the sauce is given separately so I could adjust to my own liking. For the soup with noodles I was expecting Korean noodles that’s more chewy and thick, but it’s thin like other regular instant noodles.

The service was very attentive and kind. The food was very delicious. We shared a bunch of dishes and all were very flavourful. We also enjoyed the iced peach green tea that came without sugar (sometimes it’s difficult to find sugar free options in Singapore). We will be back! :)

one of the better vegetarian food i’ve had in SG and a bigger plus point is they make a variety of Korean dishes vegetarian and they still taste good! we ordered classic kimbap (we loved it MUST order honestly i loved their kimbap since like 4 years ago when i first ate here), vegetable jeon, japchae, soybean stew and tteokbokki skewers (they basically pan fry the tteokbokki so the exterior is a little crispy so eat it while its hot) and it was just nice for 3 of us, amounted to $58.50 which is VERY value for money in my opinion ☺️ but for men with bigger appetite then likely not enough la 👀 generally, we enjoyed the food that we ordered, objectively not like WOW WOW (except the kimbap) but still good in general 👍🏻 PS, if you don’t LOVE capsicum then skip the japchae because it has A LOT of capsicum and honestly the taste of capsicum overpowers too much…
