It was quick to get a seat for myself at the bar! Service was quick and the food was good. The wait staff is nice and could also be cognizant of certain things. I had cafe con lećhe and beef plantains and potatoes w eggs. You better say how much sugar you want or you will get the standard for me it was great but i was not asked how much. I would recommend for you to try it out

The service is exceptional. The food is good but not outstanding. The chicharrones were a big disappointment. I was expecting some made from the pork belly, made the old-fashioned way; these felt artificial and rubbery.

We heard about this place because of the clean food and sustainability of the pork and meat and how well sourced it is. As well as the quality of the cooking oils used etc. We got the Cuban sandwich as well as the smash burger, fries and collard greens and can I just say we wanted to finish it all because it was that delicious! The collard greens are something special and the Cuban was just melt in your mouth delicious! My husband said ‘omg’ when he ate the smash burger and he’s pretty picky lol. We talked to the sweet waitress who’s been there five years and she explained the lineage of the owners and how they are Sicilian and care a lot about what they bring to the table, literally. Family business and have been in it a while. So so good and knowing the quality of the food is important is just unbeatable! I almost don’t want to tell everyone about it lol.😄

I’m going to visit Boozy Pig to try something other than the shrimp and grits, my daughter and I weren't a fan of the sauce but great presentation. The Gouda biscuit and homemade jam was AMAZING!! They make homemade ice cream here 🔥 I hear you can buy a steak and they will cook it for you.

@theboozypig - Tampa. Florida I don't like throwing around the term "hidden gem" around a lot, but this spot is legitimately just that. Those who are local are in the know about what an amazing, high-quality, delicious spot they are blessed with. The owner Andrew was kind enough to give us a run down of his business and its history, including how they farm raise all their own hogs. All their beef is locally sourced, and just about everything is scratch made in-house. They do everything from different types of jerky to house cured meats that'll impress your charcuterie eating friends, to great cuts of meats for your dinners, hot sauces, rubs, and so much more! We came for the restaurant side and were not let down! My favorite dish was the "back to bed," which was a smoked gouda biscuit smothered in a chorizo gravy and collard greens and a poached egg. I loved the biscuit, and that chorizo gravy was rich and delectable. I could eat that happily for any day and meal! You can't go wrong with any of their dishes, but make sure you finish your meal with the absolute best bread pudding you will ever have. It was like a combo of French toast and bread pudding served warm. The scoop of ice cream with it is a must as well. Needless to say, The Boozy Pig is going to be a return spot for me next time I am in Tampa! Can't wait to visit again!!!!!

To Go or Not To Go: Go Go!!! We had heard great things about this local restaurant and finally got there today for lunch- and they are all true! They have the retail side where you can get meats, pasta etc and the restaurant side where you just take a seat and they’ll come get your order. My grass fed burger and white bean soup and corn bread were all very delicious and I ate every single bite. Service was prompt and courteous. This place is friendly and fun! After lunch we bought meat at the deli side and talked to the butcher at length. It’s also a great place to keep in mind for a private event. I cannot wait to come back for breakfast.

Yelp
Saturday 8/23/25 The boozy pig was a nice surprise when I had it for the first time last year (for takeout), and I enjoyed it so much that I had to come back the following year. My family was looking for a brunch spot, so I decided to take them here for a sit-down visit. We came about an hour or more before closing and got seated right away cause luckily there weren't too many people at the time. It turns out that earlier they had a lot of activity which resulted in all the burgers and the Giuseppe sandwich being sold out at the time of our visit, so those are definitely some items I gotta try for myself in the future. The service was nice and friendly. We got plenty of items for the table, but the only things I tried were the lemon ricotta pancakes $13, el mixto $16, bread pudding $8, French toast $12, the boozy papas $11, and chicharrons $8. - The lemon ricotta pancakes were pretty good. The combination of flavors from the blueberries and lemon ricotta really makes it a unique experience. - The el mixto was an instant favorite of mine last year, with its soft, flaky, crispy texture that made it a very enjoyable experience, so I was definitely excited to try it again. But this time around, while still good, I didn't get that same experience as the texture of the sandwich was hard pressed. Luckily, I was able to discover that the addition of the white BBQ sauce made it more enjoyable. - The bread pudding was another instant favorite last time, and it remains the same once again. - The French toast is made with their amazing bread pudding and then rolled in some sugar. They come with a blueberry jam and syrup, which makes it unique and pretty good. I do think the introduction of the bourbon sauce (used in the bread pudding) would've made this dish even better. - The boozy papas were pretty decent. They are thick French fries that are quite similar to Potato wedges that are loaded with toppings. Just to note: the addition of the white BBQ sauce to these is well worth trying. - The chicharrons were actually ordered by mistake by mom as she didn't expect pork rinds (she missed the description). I'm not much of a fan of pork rinds, but they were okay. Luckily, they're made right in-house AND they come with a side of white BBQ sauce, which definitely improved the experience. Overall, my return to the boozy pig was an enjoyable experience. In the future, I'll definitely be sure to get the el mixto for takeout, as it had the texture and flavors that I enjoyed most, but everything else I'd be cool with in person or takeout. Looking forward to my next annual visit. -- For more FOOD content, follow me on Instagram and TikTok: @issa.cheatday

Yelp
Had a great evening last night at the Boozy Pig in Tampa for a Wagyu & Bourbon tasting. This was the first event I've booked of theirs but I've enjoyed several meals here over the years and their fresh meats are always great quality. Tonight's Bourbon Tasting was put on by a local distributor for Bardstown Bourbon Company. This was my first time hearing of and sampling their spirits. We enjoyed an amazing welcome cocktail a Watermelon Smash made with cold smoked watermelon, lemon, lime, simple syrup, a splash of Topo Chico and Bardstown Straight Kentucky Bourbon. It was garnished with a piece of the cold smoked watermelon and I can say this is my new favorite way to enjoy watermelon. The smoke flavor truly elevated a summer treat. We enjoyed several pours of their different bourbons throughout the night, they sampled their Origin Series Bourbons including two Wheated and a Rye variant. We also enjoyed their Amrut release a wonder blend of 5 different bourbons aged between 8-14 years from Indiana and Kentucky. We were also treated to a couple higher proof single barrel releases that were a real delight. This was my first experience with Bardstown's Bourbons but if for sure won't be my last they were quite enjoyable. For dinner we started off with a great Charcuterie Board with house cured prosciutto, fennel salami and spreadable andouille, assorted cheeses and other tasty accompaniments. For the Wagyu sampling we had a Australian Wagyu with Japanese genetics and a local pasture raised Wagyu from RHN farms in Center Hill, FL both came out cooked perfectly and was accompanied by a ponzu & balsamic dipping sauce and a raw egg yolk. Each piece melted in our mouths and was such a perfect bite and the sauces just pushed it over the top. We also had an amazing Crab Mac & Cheese and Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus with a Hot Honey drizzle. To top off an amazing tasting and meal we were served dessert, Boozy Pig's housemade Bourbon Bread Pudding, with their homemade Icecream. This is one of the best desserts I've ever had it was amazing and I'm glad it's on their menu I'll be back for this again. This was an amazing event and we had a great time with some great people. This may have been my first event here but I will be back for many others in the future. They have a hog butchering demonstration coming up you need to check out.

Yelp
I went on a Saturday. It was very nice inside. Servers were very accommodating and made good suggestions. I got the Cuban pressed sandwich with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese. Very good breakfast sandwich.

Yelp
The most unassuming restaurant and butcher shop on W Cypress! They have excellent fresh meats, frozen sausages and cuts, fresh eggs, and more. Seriously obsessed with this place and the food from the restaurant portion has the most homemade feel to it. They do incorporate pork into a lot of the dishes, including beef tallow (hence the name), so be prepared for pork. The seating area isn't the biggest, but tables seem to turnover pretty quickly. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the food and the interior was cozy. Definitely an intimate space. Food: We ordered a cup of the soup of the day which was corn chowder. It did take a bit long for the soup to come out, but it was worth the wait. The Rocketman sandwich was delicious! From the bread to the pastrami and the kick from the kimchi. Overall a delicious sandwich. The fries came out super hot!! And crisp. But I did find the garlic Parmesan flavor to be underwhelming. Be sure to check out the butcher shop and all the other local products they source:)

Yelp
Wow! So glad we stopped here on a whim on our way to the airport (from out of town)! We had the Breakfast Sandwich and the Back to Bed. The Back to Bed is biscuits and gravy with greens and an egg on top and wowwww....the greens are I think better than my Cajun mom's. Flavor top notch. The breakfast sandwich was not your plain sandwich...the egg was a flat PERFECT sandwich egg, the bacon was incredible, the sausage was soooo good and flavorful (not greasy at all), perfect paired gouda, and I opted for the boozy sauce on the side but lathered it all over the soft bun after trying...soooo delicious! Tangy and way better than any burger sauce I've had. I wish I had taken a picture....just do it, just stop here. 10/10 we will be back!

Yelp
We love the Boozy Pig, it has been a great addition to our midtown neighborhood. This is a family owned business that we love to support. We enjoy the weekend brunch. The Hillsborough Hash and blueberry ricotta pancakes cakes are delicious! If you are grilling the blue cheese burgers and steaks are far superior to any grocery store meats.

Yelp
This is a foodie brunch spot. We ordered the double smash cheeseburger and the Cuban breakfast sandwich with chorizo and a french fries. It is a BYOB spot, which means you can bring your own beer and bubbly. They also have a butcher shop inside if you want to get any hand cut meats and they sell and whole pigs. What a lovely hidden gem. We go back.

Yelp
Had a girls monthly meet up here and everyone was happy and we couldn't have asked for a better evening. BYOB, great food , great service and we all had space without ever feeling rushed. I knew what I wanted to try weeks in advance. Even casing out their meat case during my weekly visits to the butcher shop. Their pork belly ribs have been on my mind for soooooo long and I'm happy I finally had the chance to try them. It was served with a fresh arugula salad, sprinkle of pistachio and the pork belly rib was cooked to perfection. Ordered their bread for the table and the corn bread was some of the best I've had. We also had the best service, something most places just tend to forget about these days. We laughed for hours, sipped our wines (which they kept on ice for us) and enjoyed a memorable dinner. Be sure to save room because their warm bread pudding and ice cream or creamy flan is going to really make the toes curl... always a wonderful experience when coming here. Wether it be the farm to table meats, salads and homemade pastas. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu We routinely visit since the kids love their breakfast cubano. Boozy make the best bacon ever! If you catch their grass fed hot dogs in the case. Better stock up. They go fast! Psa- Dinner has since stopped and they have revised shorter hours during the summer.

Yelp
I can't believe it was my first time here and now I want to come back every week! The food is excellent and there are many other things on their menu I want to try. The fries are some of the best I've ever had. It was really busy there so service was a little slow. It's small inside so if you catch them at a busy time, then you might have to wait a bit. It's really cute inside and I like that they have bar seating as well. There's also a full service butcher shop. Check their hours because they're not open every day.

Yelp
The Boozy Pig 3255 W Cypress St, Tampa, FL 33607 @theboozypig The Boozy Pig is one of the top meat markets in Florida. This carnivorous hot spot is famous for its Italian Sausage, porterhouse steak, pork chops, and its weekend brunch. They currently operate their butcher shop and restaurant along with a Cafe. Everything there is fresh, grass fed, and natural. They have food selections that are local favorites, like the Mixto Cuban Sandwich and the Boozy Burger. Thier Chicharrón are Crunchy and Tasty. Come by and check them out and enjoy fresh cut meats and delicious food.

Yelp
The food here is amazing. The burger is one of the best I've ever had. Small, unassuming place but trust me you'll be glad you went.

Yelp
We decided to try The Boozy Pig for lunch today. The minute we walked in we liked this place. The Boozy Pig is a restaurant/butcher shop. They sell their own meats you can purchase at their butcher shop connected to the restaurant. We were quickly seated and served. I tried their cappuccino and really enjoyed it, they serve local coffee from a coffee roaster in Ybor which I love! We both tried their 'Knuckle Snagwich' and thoroughly enjoyed them. It was packed with flavor and juicy. One sandwich is big enough to share with two. We added a side of their fries which were delicious. We'd love to come again to buy some of their meats and try their breakfast. Highly recommend. The store is simply decorated, their focus is good food which I love! They did have a nice outdoor seating area too! @living.with.reg

Yelp
Very cute butcher that also has a small resturant. The server was excellent. She recommended some of her favorite dishes and they were ones we were looking at so we went with them. This is a BYOB so def bring champagne and orange juice to have with your brunch. Breakfast Burger The breakfast burger was good but the winner of the dish was the side of sausage gravy. It's made with chorizo and had a very little spice to it. It's heavy but great! The hash was also a solid choice. There was enough to split and grab a bunch of sides which we might do next time as I'm dying to try the brussel sprouts.

Yelp
This unassuming butcher shop has an amazing brunch. The service is quick, attentive, and accommodating. Def recommend the Hillsborough hash, the biscuits and gravy, the shrimp and grits, and the lemon blueberry pancakes. Their coffee is also really good. A Tampa gem and must try!

Yelp
Food, service and price were great and Jessica was a breath of fresh air. I ordered a burger and must say it was the best I've had in a long, long time, best in Tampa for sure. The bun was just perfect for this big burger, toasted just the right way, and burger cooked to perfection. The fries are another story all together, AMAZING. I am a sucker for good fries but these tastes like fries my grandma use to make (homemade). Cute place but looks like they're struggling with empty cases. It would be a shame to see this place NOT make it. If you haven't been, you gotta go. It is worth it.

Yelp
Finally checked out Boozy Pig as I came here for brunch. The staff and server were super friendly and gave that cafe vibes. They also have outdoor patio seating too. I ordered the breakfast burger and thought it was okay, maybe because I didn't realize the patty was sausage instead of beef ( should've read it carefully). The side of chorizo gravy was really good! The burger was really good and the pancakes. The Smoked cheddar biscuit was okay. It wasn't a real biscuit as it was more like cornbread. I was expecting the typical biscuit but overall not bad. What I ordered: - BREAKFAST BURGER: 5oz breakfast sausage patty on a toasted brioche bun with a slice of bacon and a fried egg with smoked cheddar. Served with a side of chorizo gravy - BOOZY BURGER:4oz grass-fed beef patties with blue cheese and caramelized onions on a toasted brioche bun with housemade bourbon bacon jam and arugula - LEMON RICOTTA PANCAKES: 2 fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with homemade blueberry jam and lemon ricotta. served with maple syrup - SMOKED CHEDDAR BISCUIT: Freshly baked in house-made warm biscuit w/ homemade blueberry jam

Yelp
Went there for lunch and it was super disappointing. We ordered a steak and frites (6oz sirloin) and a hamburger. The portion was really small and not filling. The burger did not come w any side/ fries. Sirloin steak was dry and tough and had some kind of weird smell. The frite was pretty salty. They took away my husband's utensils and napkin bc "you got a burger and probably don't need utensils" (poker face). We ordered both in medium but received "well done" meat. Pretty pricey for low quality and mediocre food.

Yelp
After five years of great meat, great food and great service yes, they are still here! My husband and I stopped in yesterday afternoon for an early dinner around 5 PM. The shop closes around six on a Thursday, which worked out very well for us. We ordered lunch I had a BLT, which is the classic with the best bacon on white toast that I've had in so long. My husband had the Gouda Mac cheese, of course as well as a pressed brisket cuban sandwich. Well, lunch is being prepared step next-door to the butcher shop. You can never be disappointed here. But the pot roast several sausage links, fresh Italian sausage with tomato and cheese, also a few interesting looking steaks Yes, your basic ribeye but something also that struck our eye was a more flavorful version of it. You'll have to ask the butcher. Homemade sauces, pork gravy, and another selection of sodas drinks in the cooler. Plenty of parking in the front at their location on Cypress Street. This is a must stop by place because it's a fresh butcher shop. We were also offered a share in a freezer order, which is incredibly reasonably priced and generous on the meat side. On the weekends, fluffy ricotta pancakes, yes get several orders for the table. Don't be stingy!

Yelp
I am eating at the Boozy Pig in Tampa, where the food is amazing. I am awaiting my best in the Bay Boozy Breakfast Sami which not only has their homemade sausage patty but their incredible bacon to make it even more incredible. This is the breakfast Sami of breakfast Samis. Gotta love this place and they have a cool newsletter called the Boozy Times!

Yelp
Great experience and the food was wonderful. The fresh meats were excellent and the eggs as well. We will be back for sure.

Yelp
Great food, great butcher shop. They make the best beef jerky. You'll never be able to go back to the convenient store jerky. Love the variety of flavors. Their beef bacon is amazing too and also their pate. Service is awesome

Yelp
Excellent sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Very busy as a result, but not a problem. If you haven't heard of it, or ever been, I highly recommend.

Yelp
Heard this place is really good, unfortunately they changed their hours but didn't update them anywhere so if you head over just know that the kitchen hours are not what is posted online

Yelp
Out driving around Tampa and hungry, we found The Boozy Pig. A butcher shop, house cured charcuterie, that also houses a small restaurant that features BYOB. We ordered collards and white bean soup, Rocket man sandwich. The soup was flavorful and hearty. Collards with ham hocks, sausage and white beans. Rocket man is their take on a Rueben sandwich. House made pastrami, charred kimchi, melted Swiss cheese, rocket sauce, a tangy version of thousand island, served on toasted rye bread. Pastrami is spot on, kimchi and sauce definitely kick it up a notch. Since they feature BYOB we were able to bring in a couple of ice cold Cigar City Maduro beers to pair with our lunch.
google avatar

Aimee M.

Yelp
Went for brunch and the sandwiches were pretty good flavor overall. Ordered the Mick and Morty which was tasty. The Mac and cheese side was also really good. Make sure to go on the earlier side as they start to run out of some items and parking can be limited. Also ordered the cornbread shareable but it was a bit dry. The butcher shop is cool to see and had a nice range of pork and beef meats.

Yelp
Butchery and cafe in one! Very cool concept and I can't believe that this is the first I'm trying this place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Limited parking and seating for indoor. You can choose your own seating and the staff will bring over the menu. Greeted when we entered and thanked when we exited. They even went around to the tables asking how the food was, which is nice and means they truly care about your experience. I ordered the pick 2 and chose the El Mixto sandwich with the side of Mac and cheese because let's face it, you have to try the Mac and cheese whenever you come to a place like this! And hubs got the Gluseppe which is a sausage on a hoagie with pepper and onions. He also ordered the soup of the day which I cannot remember the name but it was bean soup with sausage and collards. The flavor on everything was great! I loved my sandwich!! It was so much food that we took the soup and Mac home which tasted good even being warmed up.

Yelp
Attended a private party here a couple of weeks ago. The food was absolutely incredible! We had some salad, burnt ends, brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese and cobbler and every dish was incredible! I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic food. The burger was out of this world. I wish there was more of a restaurant (there are a few tables in a butcher shop essentially) because these people know what they are doing. If you are a burger fan, don't miss this one! Excellent service, oh, and BYOB!

Yelp
How did I not get here sooner?!!! Don't walk ... run here!!! Part butcher and part café, the Boozy Pig is what we need more of in Tampa. Food stands on its top quality and flavor rich profiles. We opted for Pick 2 - half sandwich with a side and drink for $15. Both the El Mixto (their cuban) and Sicilian of the South (pork with collard greens) were delicious. Thought the pork had an added luscious zing flavor that made me want more. But the Tallow Fries are to die for ... the potato wedges deep fried in beef fat ... I could just eat that for my meal!!! So sorry for the picture of the lone fry left in the bowl but my stomach got the best of my yelping attention. The salad was refreshing and the vinaigrette was on point. The drinks are available in the refrigerated case. Mexican coke and sprite plus a handful of others including Black Cherry soda! Too bad we didn't leave space for dessert. We definitely need to come back. Backing up. We arrived to find the front parking area breaking down from the Burger competition with Ella's, Three Sisters and .... So Parking was limited but street parking available. There are tables inside and bar. Note to self: BYOB for next time. Service was attentive and relaxed. Love it when the place focuses on just serving great food without all the pretentiousness. Portions were satisfying and menu diverse. We could even purchase whatever we wanted from the meat case and pay the prep fee...now, that's tempting! Need I say anymore?!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday for brunch 1st time (Sat-Sun. 9am to 3pm). We thought their food concept is great, and they did taste great. The dining area is not too but they have seats at the bar and outside. They have no alcoholic beverages but it's BYOB. The butcher is just in the space next to the dining area. They have some awesome looking meat. They also have jerkies. They try to work with local farmers as well. The whole experience was great except for the service. It was very slow and they got my order wrong which they lied about. We waited more than 30 minutes for food for two people. I hope this is not a common problem because it takes away from the positive things they offer.

Yelp
Ambience 5/5 Food 5/5 Service 5/5 El mixto!! Boozy's version of a Cuban and it is phenomenal, easily one of the best sandwiches period and left me savoring each bite slowly. Everything from the ham, salami, pork , garlic dill pic for a top top tier Cuban . This Cuban is as good as any I've had . The knucklesangwich wasn't as good as the el mixto imo but it's essentially braised beef with a layer of bacon it looked a lot better on the menu but it could definitely use some caramelized onions or some form of sauce or cheese. Just felt it needed like a softer texture with a bit more moisture to be a complete sandwich. I loved the ambience though it just feels modern and clean inside. Limited seating though so if bringing a big party , might be a challenge unless you reserve space beforehand. The bread pudding is to die for , crispy outer layer which is the browned edges you see in the photo with a soft custardy mid layer. There's a butter sauce that is similar to toffee but not as sweet . There's nice vanilla notes as well as a subtle bitter aftertaste that lingers . It's ibe edible bread pudding to say the least. I'm a fan looking forward too my next visit ! The service was awesome the lady at the desk and the chef came out to check on the customers.

Yelp
Awesome food. Few places with no seed oils and raw milk for sale. The hamburgers are delicious

Yelp

Yelp
The Boozy Pig is a hidden gem. It's a small but cozy place that is both restaurant and butcher shop. Seating was open on a first come first serve basis and there is BYOB allowed so if you'd like to have a beer, bring your own. Our server was very welcoming and made us feel at home. During brunch I had the Back to Bed which was amazing. The dish consisted of cheddar biscuits topped with collard greens, chorizo sausage gravy, and a fried egg. Their Cuban sandwich was also one of the best I've had in a very long time. All of their ingredients are fresh and immediately noticeable from the first bite. We heard they are going to start serving dinner as well this month and I cannot wait to be back.

Yelp
This is a very quiet tucked away establishment and only had a few people when I visited. I only had the delicious sicilian in the south sandwich although I was the skins were big and crunchy from afar, I didn't get them.

Yelp
Delicious restaurant with a butcher shop. The Boozy Pig is a hidden gem located at 3255 West Cypress St. It's a small but cozy place that is both restaurant and a butcher shop. They work with local farmers for their meats. Seating is on a first come first serve basis and there is BYOB allowed so if you'd like to have a beer or wine, bring your own. Everything we've eaten here has been delicious! The brisket sandwich with goat cheese spread is yummy. The breakfast bowl is so filling we took home over half the amount for breakfast the next day. The Italian Sausage sandwich (The Guiseppe) was filled with great flavor from the sausage, peppers & onions. The Tallow French Fries are to die for ... the potato wedges are deep-fried in beef fat. I plan to have their Cuban Sandwich or The Boozy Burger the next time eating here. They sell numerous other items - tub of lard, homemade jerky, sauces, and more in the refrigerators or butcher section. Friendly staff, great service. Brunch and lunch have been great. I haven't made it for dinner yet. Brunch and lunch have been great. I still need to make it for dinner. Highly recommend Why not 5 stars? I'm starting to get picky about giving 5-stars to only the best examples of restaurants. As an example, I really enjoy Boozy Pig but it is not at the level of Alinea.

Yelp
Literally loved everything about this place. The service, the unique menu, the food quality, everything! It's totally a vibe.

Yelp
Fantastic brunch at the Boozy pig. I got an early start and this was open. So I saw at the counter and was greeted instantly. The menus were already out and i got a water from my server. Looking around.... Wait what?!! This place is a butcher shop too? Oh hell yeah, butchers know how to cook! I got the boozy breakfast eggs(2), bacon and cheesy grits. The eggs were perfect over easy and the grits.... It ain't easy to be cheesy. They did it well, each scoop of gritty goodness dripped cheese. It was delicious. The bacon was thicker than most places and good. I mixed my over easy egg yolks into the grits and Bam that's southern grits baby! I perused the butcher shop and ended up adding 2 ounces of smoked 3 pepper beef jerky. I just tried it, oh Man that's good. Do yourself a favor and swing on in to the boozy pig and grab a bite. You won't regret it.

Yelp
First meal in Florida after arriving off an early flight and we hadn't eaten yet. We were starving and Boozy Pig fixed that real quick. I got a boozy burger, my husband got I believe it was the knuckle sandwich, my daughter a grilled cheese and son got the steak and frites. So we all got to try a little of something. Everything tasted amazing! It was a pretty slow Thursday afternoon so it was just us most of the time, so we have a skewed experience when it comes to service, but I'm willing to bet the service is amazing all the time. It was a great start to our vacation.

Yelp
The Boozy Pig is a must visit local butchery and kitchen with inside seating to enjoy both breakfast, brunch, lunch/ dinner, sides and appetizers. Award winning! 2023 Best Southern Cuisine from Best Restaurants Tampa Bay Magazine. Andrew Tambuzzo's (Boozy) mission is to provide the community fresh, clean proteins from his stock or local farmers and ranchers, and the quality is superb. The Boozy Pig kitchen uses cooking ingredients made on-site or sourced locally, so you will want to try all the options, including greens, cornbread and killer pancakes. Menu options for all ages, no adult beverages sold, but can bring in your own favorite drink to enjoy with your meal. Very casual for eating a bite, enjoying Cafe Naviera Tampa coffee and buying fresh protein to take home. It's a local Tampa hometown story with Andrew carrying on three generations of the Tambuzzo's family tradition of sausage making and expanding his family knowledge into providing a butcher shop for today's healthy eating and grocery needs. The Boozy Pig has house cured charcuterie & proteins for sale and conducts a variety of private and corporate events. Chris, Ulani and Andrew provided excellent service the day I shopped, recommending counter sandwiches and fresh meats to take home and even a few personal cooking tips. Unique Classes - Half Hog Butcher Demo w/Samplings and Wine and Sausage making. Check out Instagram and Facebook for dates.

Yelp
I gave it 3.5 stars. We've actually been here twice now. The service was great the first time, 2nd time it was a lil bit off (forgotten coffee order etc) The pancakes are amazing and really tasty. We got a Hillsborough hash and this time a porky's something )breaded pork on top of a Brussels hash. It would've been really, really good if it wasn't so salty! Like every part of it was super salty. I'm sure we'll be back again later but just have to let them know to go light on the salt. So just beware of that. Other than that, they have great coffee and the little butcher shop area is amazing!

Yelp
My wife and I visited The Boozy Pig for lunch this past weekend. I had the Chicharrones, Sicilian in the South Sandwich, and the Tallow Fries. The Chicharrones were light, crisp, airy, nicely seasoned and paired with three flavorful dips. The Sicilian in the South sandwich was delicious. Soft lightly toasted Cuban bread was filled with juicy tender roast pork, flavorful juicy collard greens and onions, gooey melted Swiss cheese and tangy mustard. The side of Tallow Fries were soft, savory, and lightly salty. Overall, The Boozy Pig is a good stop for quality sandwiches with freshly prepared meat.

Yelp
First of all, the staff was 100% fantastic. We sat at a table in the front by the wall and little ants crawled on me and the tablet throughout the meal. We killed at least three on the table itself. Here's what we ate: Cafe con Leche: Fantastic White bean and collard green soup: Good except it was sweet for some reason. Beef and potato soup: Good Collard Greens: Unbearably sweet. The meat and cheese board was alright but light on the meat. Tallow fries: Conceptually cool but the potatoes are too big to really get creamy in the middle. I expected a big burst of flavor. The Back to Bed: A huge problem. This is not a biscuit. This is an easy way out. This is cornbread without cornmeal and a fat content that makes the mouth feel like a rubbery sponge. Not much flavor and not one bit of flaky texture. If you lift it out you can tell that the reason for all of this is so that the "biscuits" can be cooked in a single layer in a sheet pan. A Grands biscuit would have been better. Then we cover that with very sweet collard greens and a mismatched cheddar sausage gravy that can neither cooperate with or compensate for the overly sweet greens. The egg was cooked perfectly.

Yelp
Part Butcher Part Restaurant all fresh and delicious. I have heard so many great things about the boozy pig and I now know why. The decor and atmosphere is very homey and I love that. When I walked in I was warmly greeted by the butcher. Then by the staff at the food counter to order. I already had high expectations about our food because well the butcher is in house. I am happy to report they exceeded all expectations. The Boozy burger that featured bourbon bacon jam and blue cheese was phenomenal. The meat was cooked perfectly and all the toppings enhanced the meat rather then overpowered it. The shredded steak poutine was just as amazing the fries were crisp and perfectly salted. The onions were slightly sweet, the gravy was luscious and the shredded beef was just perfect and falling apart. Then we have the Hillsborough Hash which is shredded beef diced potatoes and plantains topped with a fried egg. This thing was so hearty and delicious and I love that they included the Hispanic influence on this dish. If you are looking for hearty eats with great atmosphere and customer service check out the Boozy Pig.

Yelp
The family was down in Tampa for an event so I came across this place. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a catchy name and some decent branding.. I'm extremely happy that we made it here! At first I wasn't expecting it to be great however, the staff was incredible in accommodating our party of 6 and all of our meals were very good! Don't forget to add a side of their house made fries in beef tallow as a side! Also The coffee was also great as well! The restaurant also subtly doubles as a butcher shop, which from what I could see looked great as well!

Yelp
Wanting to try this place forever, I finally made it yesterday for a late lunch. I was the only person in the place which I loved because I could peruse at will. And there is a lot to look at. One side is the butcher shop and the other side is the restaurant part, and they have random shelves and tables filled with assorted food accessories for purchase. The Owner was in house and was super friendly and helpful. He explained their concept to me: they are a 'whole animal butchery' and they buy animals raised locally for all their meat. He gave me suggestions off their chalkboard menu, and I finally went with the meatball sandwich and the tallow fries. I also bought two different kinds of beef jerky for $2.50/oz, and bread pudding for dessert. Got home and tore into the meatball sandwich. I liked it, but did not love it. The meatballs were not very firm, and there was no zing or bite to the sandwich. The tallow fries, however, were amazing! They were hand cut fries, cooked in beef tallow, and incredibly flavorful and delicious. I heated up the bread pudding for dinner, and applied the thoughtfully provided fresh whipped cream and caramel sauce, and it was excellent. I can't wait to go back and have poutine on those amazing french fries.

Yelp
Sausage, Meatballs, and Charcuterie Oh My! Boozy Pig falls in the vane of new butcheries with a restaurant feel. The space is small but comes with lots of old but her shop charm in a new open floor feel. 1) Only minus a star because it is currently BYOB 2) Tallow oil fries are how Mickey D's used to fry their frys before the veg oil craze. You CAN tell the difference and in a great kinda way. Get them! 3) I had the Mixto which is a Spanish serving of meats in Spain but their version was our Cuban and it was delicious with tons of meaty flavor. The meats were the star of this sandwich! I will be back and ready to try the Meatball sandwich or the Rocket Man sandwich. Dont have time to stay bring in your charcuterie board and let them load it up for your next dinner party.
