The Bottle Inn - Review - Hermosa Beach - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This Italian-American spot has been open for over 40 years, and attracts a loyal crowd of locals on casual date nights working their way through the big wine list. It’s the kind of place where you’ll end up with seven pastas on your table because you can’t make a decision, but the staff here will help you narrow down your order. Whatever you do, make sure you get the fried calamari, the lobster angel hair, and a spot on the front patio. RESERVE A TABLE WITH RESERVE A TABLE" - Brett Keating

Where To Get Italian Delivery & Takeout In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The Bottle In in Hermosa Beach is a South Bay staple for family-style Italian food. So it makes sense that they’ve converted to an entire family style to-go menu, in trays for six-eight people, including chicken marsala, chicken parm with aglio e olio, and rigatoni with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and garlic-white wine sauce. They’ve also got a great selection of Italian wines for affordable prices. Curbside pick-up available via their website." - brett keating

Legendary Italian spot in Hermosa Beach with ocean views and amazing food. Probably the most iconic restaurant in town going strong for over 50 years. The veal ossobuco is so tender and flavorful it is a must try if you want meat. The meatballs are very flavorful and moist with great texture and the red sauce they are served in is so fresh and delicious it would taste amazing on anything. The rigatoni with chicken and basil has a light creme sauce with garlic and sun dried tomatoes.. the chicken was very tender and the dish was very tasty. Whatever you choose to order at The Bottle Inn you can be sure you will have a great meal with outstanding personal service. This spot is a huge locals favorite not a tourist trap.. people come back for years and decades and generations... there isn't that much old Hermosa Beach history left.. so thankful The Bottle Inn is still so good and we hope they are around another 50 years!

Fine dining at its best ! The food was unbelievable ! Every morsel, every bite of their pasta, seafood, and dessert was top-notch! However, it’s very crowded. I didn’t like sitting that close to the couple on the left with a group of 4 including our 2 kids. I felt as though they overbooked and that’s not ok. I don’t want to sit in the couple’s lap for crying out loud ! Also, the prices are outrageous! Doesn’t have to be. It was great to try out and we enjoyed our evening but it’s really for affluent families, couples, and retirees with lots of money to throw around ! Chances are: If you’re middle class you most likely won’t be able to afford dining here. The end.

Google
One of the best Italian dining experiences to enjoy and savor! This restaurant is run by an incredible and friendly team of staff and servers providing top notch hospitality, customer service, and truly amazing high quality food, beverage, and dessert. They are on point in all aspects of providing and servicing their guests from table touch ( checking in on how your meal is and making sure to your satisfaction), human interaction, and warm smiles. A dream team of hardworking staff with a great synergy going above and beyond to ensure the guest and dining experience is the best. Many thanks to GM Abel, Manager Sandra, and the fantastic staff and crew Paola, Deana, Bella, Angela, as well as the chef, kitchen, bar, and floor staff. Such a pleasure to be in a wonderful place with positive energy and good vibes, beautiful art, a private room in back that can accommodate approximately 15 persons, a separate dining area, small intimate bar, and outdoor patio. The food is absolutely amazing and succulent!!! The pictured baked eggplant parmigiana is one of the best I’ve ever eaten seasoned to absolute perfection including restaurants in Boston and NYC!!! The hot garlic bread is super yummy and served promptly as well as refreshed. The red wine paring blend was a fabulous choice suggested by the server as I’m a fan of Malbec. Desserts! OMG! Warm bread pudding (surprisingly light) ala mode with vanilla ice cream and the tiramisu(layered perfectly) both to die for. A friendly local couple seated next to me after opening dialogue about the food and a conversation about music and radio era circa 1960’s shared that they’ve been going there for 45 years!!! They told me that it was previously decorated with bottles on the walls hence the name The Bottle Inn and changed after the pandemic. Highest recommendations for the ultimate best Italian dining in Los Angeles County in a quaint spot a half block from the beach! Will definitely be coming back! See you soon.

My date stood me up. My server, Rebecca was the absolute kindest human, she stood there and talked to me while I navigated the embarrassment. She was so incredible. Go here, ask for Rebecca, she’s the kindest and absolutely stunning … give her all your tips!!! Rebecca… we should go on a date!?

Google
Great little neighborhood spot with a great beach view. Food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly! The tables were adequately spaced and the heaters kept us comfortable. I highly encourage everyone to check this place out! I had the special which was jumbo scallops with risotto and asparagus. It was cooked to perfection.

Google
Really tasty food right down on the edge of the beach walk. Friendly waiters that are top of the top with their service and ability to remember lots of different orders in one go. Had the carbonara and it was absolutely amazing!! Tried the gnocchi as well and loved it! The bread for the table was warm and buttery. The calamari was crispy and delicious. The meatballs were savory! Tried the tiramisu and ice cream, both were definitely some of the best I've tried. Would definitely recommend to any looking for a dinner spot in town. Would definitely go again!

Yelp
I have had the pleasure of dining at one of our old faves, The Bottle Inn, twice in the last couple of months. In July, my wife chose it for her birthday dinner and boy, was it great! We used to live in the "Golden Hills" area of North Redondo, a block and a half east of Hermosa and we used to frequent Martha's and The Bottle Inn quite a bit but it has been, jeez, probably over a decade since we last dined there since we now live about 30 minutes south. The wife ordered the Special Pasta of the Day (Caprese) and it was the best dish of the night! The kids both ordered the Lobster Angel Hair ($42.95) and enjoyed it very much. I had the Linguine E Pollo Al Cartoccio ($32.95: Chicken, Artichoke, Tomatoes, Spinach, Mushrooms, Basil) and it was very good. I do wish the lobster pasta was priced a little lower. Dinner comes with delicious garlic bread and the birthday girl got a free dessert which was very good. Service was fantastic and friendly. Wine corkage fee was $30 which is a bit steep. On the most recent visit this past week, I took 4 clients out to dinner and they chose The Bottle Inn. I was very happy to go again. We ordered the meatball appetizer ($18.95 + $2.50 for an extra meatball) and the calamari ($17.95) and both were EXCELLENT. The meatballs were covered in delicious tomato sauce and gooey melted cheese and the calamari was perfectly crispy...man, I am still craving both; they were perfect! One of my clients is a regular and ordered his favorite dish, the Chicken Parm ($34.95) and another did the same based on his recommendation. Both devoured all of theirs. Another ordered the pasta of the day ($35.95) which was Chicken Tetrazzini and the 4th ordered the Lobster Angel Hair. I believe they enjoyed theirs, too. The Salmon al Vodka ($38.95) called out to me this time and it was superb. The salmon was cooked perfectly with crispy edges (love it) and smothered in a thick, rich vodka sauce with artichokes, mushrooms, spinach and goat cheese. The sauce is quite unique and absolutely wonderful. The dish includes a nice helping of pasta cooked simply with olive oil and garlic. The portion was a good size and I was able to take half of it back home which I ate last night and it was just as good! Even the edges of the salmon were still crispy! How?? Deanna was our server and she was fantastic, super friendly and attentive and had a couple of really great wine recommendations. First, we ordered the $60 bottle of Lucente (Tuscan) and it was excellent as was the second bottle we ordered, the Gibbs 3 Clones for $88. I highly recommend The Bottle Inn and look forward to going back much sooner than another decade!

Yelp
We went there for our anniversary in Sept. 2025, for the 2nd year in a row, and again had a wonderful experience. We again sat on their spacious outdoor patio, with a great view of the sun setting over the Pacific a block away, and the restaurant not only treated us to dessertn in honor of our anniversary, but also gave us 2 splits of Proseco to help celebrate. The service was attentive and helpful. The food was again excellent. My wife's linguine & class was very good, but my lobster with angel hair pasta, cream sauce, and a touch of spinach was just outstanding, as it was the year before! The only drawback to sitting on the patio was the annoying flies, but the restaurant supplied little bottle/fans, which alleviated much of the problem!

Yelp
My absolute favorite South Bay restaurant! Almost a tie for First with Nick's but bottle and takes the top spot with its outdoor patio and sunset views. And the food... Everything, I repeat everything is DELICIOUS!!!! My favorite is the Osso Bucco with risotto! Of course, the garlic bread! Chicken Parm! Chicken Milanese! Chicken lasagna -GF made with polenta- insane!! Wine selection is incredible. The staff from top to bottom is incredible. I've been several times and it's always perfect. I will never stop going to or recommending this amazing place.

Yelp
Fantastic Italian location! Loved it! The food was great, the wine was great, and the people were great! The wine cellar was a great experience to dine. Pretty inside and outside.

Yelp
Our choice for GNO, party of 2. Cozy and cute spot just off the strand. Garlic bread served first was tasty! We ordered the penne primavera, melanzane eggplant al forno and glass of casali maniango sauv blanc! Very tasty! Our server was kind and attentive as well.

Yelp
I'm giving The Bottle Inn a five-star review because the service there is outstanding! Servers are super busy, yet they never overlook any detail. We asked for more salad dressing and it was brought out immediately. Water and drink refills were attended to promptly as well. The ambience is just the way we like it-old school. The food and wine selections are both very large and offer a wide array of yummy wines, beers and most importantly-food! Upon being seated, you will receive a basket of warm garlic bread which you will promptly finish off! Next we ordered Caesar Salad with more of the garlic bread croutons, a homemade dressing, and anchovies (don't judge me for loving them!). We also really enjoyed the Insalata Rustica with mixed greens, grilled corn, avocado, almonds, goat cheese, dates, cherry tomatoes, croutons, and an herb vinaigrette. Salads are big enough to share. We loved the Linguini and Clams, Chicken Parmesan, and the Scampi with garlic spinach and angel hair pasta. For dessert we had the house cheesecake and the tiramisu, iced lattes, and decaf cappuccinos. We left full and happy and will definitely return very soon!

Yelp
Cute little wine bar / Italian Restaurant just off the Hermosa Beach Strand. This place is an institution and has been in the beach side community for many years. This particular night we came for some wine. They had a great selection. We ordered the meatballs but they were so good, i did not get a photo. Every meal comes with this amazing garlic bread. It is house-made, a nice sourdough type bread with a generous garlic chunk and butter spread. Came for dinner many moons ago but never got pics. A nice spot for dinner or just have a few glasses of wine after a lovely beach stroll.

Yelp
The most delicious Italian food, wine & beautiful sunset views in Hermosa beach; what could be better!? For appetizers we ordered: - CALAMARI FRITTI - CAPRESE - BRUSCHETTA POMODORO - BAKED FETA - MUSSELS ARRABIATA Entrees: - SALMON FRESCO - LOBSTER ANGEL HAIR - CHICKEN PICCATA W/ ZOOLDES Everyone enjoyed dinner here! My personal favorites were the bruschetta, mussels, and the baked feta. Would 1000% come back again to try more menu items! I really liked the ambiance and overall vibe of the resturant; not to mention its walking distance from the pier and has gorgeous sunset views!

Yelp
From pasta to fish, each plate's a win, You taste the love they're putting in. Great wines, good vibes, and service smooth-- Martha's sister, with the same groove. I've tried it all, and still want more-- A classic spot that I adore.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant to sit down and have a heart to heart conversation and dinner with family. There service was perfect - just enough attention to keep our water glasses full and not intrude too much into night out with family. The meals were DELICIOUS - I'm telling you not a single bite let me down. We started with the Brussel sprouts which blew me away. So savory. As someone with Celiacs, i was floored to have my first gluten free lasagna in over a decade - they make it with polenta!! I am told the ravioli and fettuccine bolognese were stellar. They even have nice gluten free dessert options!!

Yelp
I love this place to decompress and eat a good Italian food. Sit outside to enjoy the weather and view while sipping the wine and eat pasta.

Chloe K.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I've wanted to try them air ages and finally went last night with some friends. Our server (I don't get her name) gave us excellent service and she was extremely knowledgeable about the wines. She made us Cuban coffees when we ordered coffees at the end and those were superb. We ordered the calamari, bruschetta, and Arancini which were all delicious. The garlic bread that they bring to the table is also top notch. The dining areas also great with a cute patio and there's a room in the back that's in amongst all the wines (not sure if that's by request only). If you're looking for really good Italian food, this is definitely the place to go.

Yelp
Great restaurant with extensive wine selection. By the glass or bottle. (Note: no cocktails) Cozy setting with outdoor seating, but it's at a premium so plan ahead. Wait staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. A lot of great sounding dishes on the menu. It was challenging to select just one, even after narrowing them down to my top five. I'll have to go back and try the others I missed. Not out of the realm of possibility to spot a professional athlete or celebrity there. We did.

Yelp
We had a wonderful outdoor dining experience. The food was delicious and the server was friendly. Our pasta was tasty and so was our appetizer. We will go back the next time we are in town.

Yelp
The Bottle Inn is a favorite among locals; I was in from out of town, and my client and I went for dinner. We sat outside, where there were heaters on what was an atypically cool night. If I were rating them on "views of the Pacific Ocean at sunset," I'd give them 400 stars. Stunning scenery. The food was, in my opinion, just okay. Our server brought out a basket of garlic bread that was not really edible. We both had the risotto with filet that was pretty watery and not very flavorful. We shared a tiramisu for dessert -- THAT was worth the trip. A surprisingly light treat after the heavier risotto. After reading the many five star reviews, I figure they may have had an off night or were overwhelmed as the place was packed. But not a place I'd recommend to others based on my experience, I'm afraid.

Yelp
Beautiful outdoor patios (with shade), provide a perfect beach dining experience. Our group's food & drinks came out quickly (& at the same time; which is rare when you have a group of 6 people). Everything was delicious & fresh. We especially loved the carpaccio, meatballs, chicken piccata, & lobster angel hair.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for dinner with my colleagues the ambiance was nice but what really set this place apart is their food and service which can be difficult to come by these days. Deanna was our server and she was AWSOME! Greeted us with a smile and was very attentive and most importantly she was very knowledgeable with the Menu. Giving us suggestions she sold me with the Filet Mignon Stroganoff! 10 out of 10 it was so delicious! We all enjoyed our dinner entrees. But it didn't stop there Deanna come by with more recommendations for dessert! The butter cake and bread pudding (hawaii king rolls) was so good never had anything like it. I am definitely recommending this place to friends and family! The experience we had was 10 out of 10.

Yelp
If you're looking for legit Italian food, The Bottle Inn is a good choice. Let's get the one slight issue out of the way up front. Parking can be dicey. Allow time to find a spot. Our party of six was warmly greeted, then promptly seated. As soon as you enter, the aroma's wafting from the kitchen really get your appetite cranked up. Our server, Ann, cheerfully welcomed us and assisted with a wine selection which proved to be a wonderful complement to all of our dishes. For starters, we went with calamari and mussels. Both were spot on. We ate family style sharing: four cheese pasta; Bolognese pasta; lobster angel hair and the Venetian salad. Combine all those with the garlic bread served to start off the meal and we were all well fed. We recently spent a couple of weeks in the Tuscany region and wanted to have a meal that recaptured that experience and The Bottle Inn fit the bill! Cheers!

Yelp
Favorite restaurant in Hermosa! the angel hair lobster pasta is the best pasta dish I've had everrrrr. Don't even get me started on the beef carpaccio aahhhh it's so good. The servers are always friendly and accommodating and the place it self is so cute. Perfect for a romantic date night but I often go there with just my girls too!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night & it was hopping. Cute little place. Would be great for a date. Staff was nice & the food was good. Got the chicken & cheese ravioli & it was delicious. I'd come back!

Yelp
*FOOD* We had the Bruschetta to start, which was delicious. The heirloom tomatoes were nice and fresh. I ordered the Lobster Angel Hair and it was delicious and filling - I couldn't finish my plate. The pasta was loaded with lobster that was complemented by a light cream sauce that didn't overpower the wonderful lobster flavor. My company got the Gnocchi Al Pesto, which she loved. *SERVICE* Our service experience where was unmatched - I felt as if we were great friends with the host. I confused my reservation time and arrived 45 minutes before the reservation - even though they were very busy, the host was still able to seat us immediately. We got a great seat and once an outdoor spot opened, the host moved us out by the sunset. Additionally, they gave us complementary dessert just because. The service was awesome - and it was a plus that the food was wonderful too. *AMBIANCE* I feel like everyone here was family and knew one another - it felt like I was joining a family for dinner at a home. It's right off the beach too which is great.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. The food, the service, and the atmosphere. I was so happy with it. I decided to treat myself to a little self date night and I was happy I got a table in the corner. My server Anne was great and knew the menu. She was helpful and attentive. I was nervous the linguine and clams would be too fishy but it was perfect. So buttery. I got a cannoli for dessert and the filling was so delicious. All the flavors were perfectly balanced. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
Bottle Inn is one of our very FAVE restaurants in Hermosa! Excellent service, great attitude and meals that phenomenal! Thank you, Bottle Inn!

Yelp
Love how the team at Bottle Inn shows up. The bartender was extremely patient with us as we tried and tasted a wine from every region that filled the back of the menu until deciding on the Rioja. My favorite part may have been how they split the Rustica salad and they plated it individually for the 3 of us. We also split the chicken rigatoni as a starter. Definitely worth coming for dinner around sunset, this place is a vibe! Must Haves: 1.chicken parm and aglio olio... worth it even if you have food sensitivities :) 2. Dip the garlic bread in the sauce from the chicken Rigatoni - trust me! Things we tried: Pesto Gnocchi, Chilean Sea Bass & veggies.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Portions are massive! You can definitely share. We ordered the Bolognese pasta and the Pollo Parmigiana (Chicken Parm) and we had to both get to go boxes. Bolognese is super flavorful, lots of meat. I had to take my time with it as it was on the heavier side (not complaining though) Chicken parm was a good balance, chicken was not overpowering and nicely complimented the alfredo pasta on the side. We preferred this to the butter pasta originally offered. Butter cake was average. **Honorable mention not pictured is their garlic bread OMG!!! Super tasty and not greasy. Service: 5/5 We had gone around 6pm on a rainy day, a few other parties were seated. Our waitress constantly checked on us and was very nice. Other staff were also refilling our drinks and garlic bread. Never had to lift a finger. Vibes: 4/5 Definitely liked the dimmed lighting and cozy vibe of the place. The pictures hung around the restaurant were nice too. The seating is not as spacious if you are a party of 2 because you are sitting right next to other parties of 2.

Yelp
Some of the food is good but tonight there was a lady bug in my ceasar salad. They are not washing their vegetables well apparently. It made me wonder what else wasn't clean.....

Yelp
First meet with Hubbers' group post COVID-19 surge. It's been years, and after weeks of planning, a date was finally set and peeps came from all parts of California, Texas, even as far as New York just to make this happen! The Bottle Inn was the choice for this year's holiday luncheon. Reservations made and boom, we were all together once again. It was a cool but sunny SoCal day so seating outside with a view of the beautiful ocean couldn't be more perfect. It was a bit chilly for my taste, but I wasn't worried: they had outdoor heaters available. I got the chance to take a look at the menu before coming through, so I knew exactly what I wanted. Those who came ahead of us took the liberty of ordering breads as well as apps to share with everyone, so that was great ideas since I was able to try everything I wanted to try without over-ordering! BRUSCHETTA POMODORO: Fresh tomatoes and perfect blend of basil, olive oil, garlic, balsamic vinegar and seasoning. It was good starter! I wish I took a picture! CAPRESE: Like the bruschetta, also fresh and well balanced. The mozzarella was creamy and the basil added a bit of kick. The balsamic glaze had great sweet and salty tart. I would recommend this as well. CALAMARI FRITTI: Nothing out of the ordinary. Typical of its breaded and fried taste. It wasn't bad, but average at best. LOBSTER ANGEL HAIR: Disappointing. I looked forward to this dish for weeks and it was a complete let down. It looked fantastic, that IS true, but that's as far is it went. It lacked flavor, overall, that it took away from the quality (and the generous amount) of lobster that came with the plate. The sauce was bland - there was very little (if any) flavor of garlic, not even a hint. The creamy sauce was simply flavorless. Adding fresh Parmesan and fresh crushed black pepper didn't help. I couldn't even get through a third of the plate. I decided to take the rest home and made an attempt to fix it. At one moment, I wished I had the same spectacular experience as my fellow Yelpers' had with it. I was the exception, I suppose. The pasta was cooked perfect, though, at least they got that right! FOOD: 3. 4 for the apps, 2 for my main dish. SERVICE: 4. Above average. Friendly staff. Happy to be of service with matching smiles. VALUE: 4. Really reasonable most especially for this beautiful location. PARKING: Metered street parking only. Extra busy on the weekends. Plan accordingly. OVERALL: 3.5. Hubbers enjoyed his rigatoni. I got the chance to try it and that bite came with flavor poppin' all over the place. He cleaned up his plate well - understandably so. I would return for the apps. The lobster pasta: not so much. But who knows: I might give it another go should I find myself in these digs again, even if it's just to compare. Redemption might still be at hand.

Yelp
We'll I for one was not impressed..The restaurant itself is nice, we'll appointed & well staffed..If one reads through the menu there are many pastas, fish, chicken & meat that look to be delicious..Well I ordered chicken parmigiana & pasta, the noodles were hard & the pollo was warm, my wife's was better, but she was also disappointed..Part of our issue is for these prices, you get no salad or soup no sides... I know we'll be back to give it another try, in the following few weeks or month I had heard such good things about this fine restaurant too, very disappointing... A 3 out of 5 stars..

Angelina E.

Yelp
What a lovely Italian restaurant and just steps away from the beach! Had dinner here with another couple and it did not disappoint. Seated promptly and service from everyone we encountered was top notch. A great spot for Italian food if you are in the area. The chicken Parmesan was delicious.

Yelp
Loved Pollo Parmigiana and Insalata della Casa (House Salad) ! We also ordered the Rigatoni Pollo e Basilico but we ended up saving that dish for the next day because the Pollo Parmigiana and Insalata della Casa (House Salad) were very filling along with the complimentary garlic bread. We had the lemon cake for dessert but it was a letdown. It tasted stale and I could not detect any lemon flavor in Limoncello Lemon Cake But I'll still rate it 5 stars because our main meal was delicious. Will definitely order pickup again and also visit for dine-in.

Emily C.

Yelp
Great food, service and ambience. Our waitress Sandra was attentive and kind! 10/10! PS the Limoncello cake is absolutely delicious :)

Yelp
This place is now my New/Old Fav! I returned to The Bottle Inn for the first time since I retired from my job in Redondo Beach a few years ago. I had dined there before and really enjoyed the food and classy ambient but I didn't know if my old favorite was still the same. I was a bit worried after making a reservation for a large party for my post-performance guests since I've heard that this restaurant has become more "trendy". When I entered, I could feel that the ambience has indeed changed, to more casual dining and casual attires. But, I quickly learned that the legendary high quality service of The Bottle Inn remained the same as we started our dining experience! First, I had very pleasant email exchanges with Deanna a few days before, confirming my reservation, followed by her extremely courteous response when I had to change my reservation time due to my performance ending late. Upon arrival, my guests and I were welcomed into a private dining room (small, cozy cellar in the back) while Deanna and her staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. Food was still excellent!!! Everything from calamari, bruschetta, chicken, fish, pasta to desserts were all delicious! I love their Cioppino, a large portion with flavorful broth and ample seafood! Among my guests, Limoncello cake and bread pudding were big hits! That's how The Bottle Inn became my New Fav now! I give credit to Deanna and her professionalism/high standards of hospitality for keeping this old classic restaurant excellent over the years and transforming it into a new local favorite! I highly recommend everyone to try this place, whether you are new to The Bottle Inn or a returning old timer like myself!

Yelp
Carpaccio + Linguine Alla Bucaniera and a bottle of wine. Cannoli and espresso with my special someone. We had a great time. It has that old menu and school ambiance that you don't get any more.

Definitely a great neighborhood place to enjoy a nice meal! Been here several times and the food is always on point and atmosphere casual and friendly.

Yelp
This has been a long-standing favorite of mine for a couple of decades now. Have had lots of wonderful experiences with the staff, the ambience and the food. They have a nice wine selection and I would highly recommend making a reservation. I just hope this restaurant stays around for another couple of decades

Yelp
Good pasta and friendly service; there was no way I got seats without reservation for dinner on Saturday at 6:30. The outdoor patio table I reserved after reading other reviews was good because the heaters and open-air allowed me to see the sky change color. I felt like I made the right choice instead of darker inside seating. My pasta had a kick in it! I enjoyed mine over the eggplant Parmesan, bolognese, and ravioli my friends got. Get the RIGATONI POLLO E BASILICO I had if you like a surprise kick. We opened a bottle of Montagne and shared it between four people; the bottle looked popular since another table got it too. I do recommend opening a bottle for 4 and + people. Enjoy!

Yelp
Thank you to The Bottle Inn tonight for providing an amazing space for our Annual Dinner with friends. We had the Wine Celler all to ourselves! Diana took amazing care of all our needs. Everyone's choice of dinner was delicious. Happy Holidays to all and enjoy this South Bay Treasure.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite restaurant, I've gone here for years and have lots of fond memories here. Today I called to ask what a popular dish was that I had before. She told me and I said "great, thanks I will try to order it online". Nothing out of the ordinary call. Well, I wasn't able to order online so I called back to place a pickup order and now they weren't answering. So I called back about 3 minutes later. No answer. So I kept trying, every couple minutes or so. At the 10th call I suspected this is odd. Let me call from my work number and they answered immediately like they were deliberately not answering my other number. Why? I will never ever eat here again. What a terrible experience and pretty disappointing for management to condone their staff to do this.

Yelp
Ended up going to The Bottle Inn Hermosa, which was a really cute Italian place with a nice ambience. Once we were seated they gave us a basket of garlic bread, which was delicious (definitely beats just bread and butter!). Once seated we ended up ordering: *calamari - loved the crunchy coating, this came with marinara sauce which was really yummy *beef carpaccio - this was thin Pieces of beef with Parmesan cheese and arugula which was really yummy * rigatoni with Pollo - can't remember the full name but this was a yummy tomato creamy sauce I really enjoyed a lot! We ordered an extra side of mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts with this which went well * crème brûlée - this was absolutely delicious, every bite made me left wanting more! *cheesecake - loved this and the crust which went perfectly together. Really really enjoyed this dish! Overall, really good food!

Yelp
Service was wonderful! Food is great too, Except the garlic bread. It isn't any different from what you get in the grocery store freezer. For an expensive Italian restaurant, their bread should be sooo much better, especially since we have so many really good bakeries in the area.

Yelp
The food is amazing, starting with the bread at the table. The staff are fun and very knowledgeable. Book the tables in the wine cellar for a unique experience.

Yelp
Just loved the party I had for my wife here. Service was amazing and the food all came out hot even with a party of 20. Great appetizers, can't go wrong. Deanna who was my party hostess was amazing. Helped me plan and put together a specific menu. Love their wine selection too. Found my new fav Italian restaurant in the South Bay!

Yelp
A little sad about our last experience here... 10 years ago this was our favorite Italian restaurant with wonderful romantic ambiance. Fast forward to today - the music was off for the ambiance (hip hop? Rap? ...) the servers were okay. And the food sadly the same... Still a wonderful location and fun to walk to in the area!

Yelp
The food is incredibly delicious. You can't go wrong with whatever you order! We had the salmon in vodka sauce, the risotto with shrimp and the Caesar salad. My husband said it was the best meal he ever had!

Yelp
Italian spot by the beach with outdoor patio dining. Came here on a group of six on a Sunday morning around 11:30am after having made reservations online via OpenTable. Metered street parking. You'll probably need to circle a couple of times to find a spot if you don't come earlier in the morning or park in the neighborhoods but note that many of them have 1 hour limits. Credit cards are accepted. There's single occupant bathrooms inside. No indoor dining was available when we went. Dogs are allowed. The food portions are on the larger side and there's a good mix of pizza and pasta options. Definitely get the calamari - it was a good portion size for the six of us. I got the rigatoni e pollo basilico which was very creamy and was the right amount of savory. I had leftovers to take home and it still kept relatively well. The pasta was chewy and thick too. The sausage rigatoni could've been spicier but that's another solid choice. For the more health conscious, they do have a grilled salmon option as well as salad entrees. Overall, you should come to this spot if you want some laidback Italian food right across the beach and are ready to treat yourself to some carbs.
