What a hidden gem! Perfect example of not judging a book by it's cover..
With family in town for the weekend and an opportunity to visit downtown Cbus without being the driver, I corralled the help of a friend and fellow yelp-er to show my visitors a great time. Alex prefaced our visit with "I know it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the cocktails are amazing and have such a variety!" She wasn't wrong.
The cute little patio area outside with a food truck seems so inviting for the summertime. On one half of the building is a liquor store (or maybe they just have beer/wine, I didn't get a good look to be honest) and the other half is this craft cocktail lounge. They have an assortment of chairs, including couches, and then space at the bar. We arrived right before they got busy, so we snagged some seats at the bar so we could watch the magic of drink making. Seriously - so many props to the bartenders.
Between the four of us, 3 ordered a drink on the menu (a Lemon Drop, a gin drink that was sort of like a Bees Knees, and a berry drink with egg white - sorry, can't remember the names) and the 4th had a Limencello/Prosecco drink. The prices, like others have mentioned, are a bit high ($12-14 was the most common) but after watching how much detail and precision goes into making the drinks, you can't even be mad.
All drinks were fantastic, but I think the Lemon Drop was the clear winner. Then, because we were waiting for our ride, we opted to get a house punch - I had the apple cider one and someone else had the Jalapeno Strawberry one. Both were delicious, but the cider one was perfect for the fall weather.
Such a cozy, great little place to enjoy a drink with your favorite people. If I find myself back in the area, I know I'll drop in for another visit!
