15 Must-Try Astral Margaritas in Orange County | Eater

"Set within Pacific City, the Brant is a beachfront spot with a full bar and breezy outdoor seating. Drinks like the cucumber jalapeño margarita take center stage, but appetizers like the Prime Rib Dip are definitely worth ordering too. With its earthy interior and soft lighting, the Brant is an easy choice for a casual yet scenic stop. Check out these other bars and restaurants serving Astral Tequila: Cafe Sevilla; Yost Theater; Cowboys & Poodles; Westwood Coast; Amor Y Tequila; Kaizen Shabu; The Cliff; The Swinging Door Saloon; Three 13 Bar; Wild Rivers Waterpark; Proof Bar; The District Lounge; Lido House; Mahe; Morena’s" - McConnell Quinn

Where to Drink Margaritas in Orange County for MargaritaCon | Eater

"Balance is key when it comes to good cocktails, and it should be no surprise that this Huntington Beach restaurant with a strong bar program would create a margarita with ingredients that live in harmony. The cucumber-jalapeño margarita is a little spicy and a little cool thanks to its titular ingredients, plus a little sweet and a little sour thanks to a jalapeño-infused sweet-and-sour mix. If the gorgeous view of the coastline isn’t bringing enough peace, let the margarita help." - Robert Spuhler

Great place to grab a bite. The food was delicious. The service was quick at the bar and the atmosphere was cozy. Great place for a date night.. and if you get your receipt validated, you can get a discount at the parking

Initially we were seated in a very loud and crowded room. Our server was so understanding of our request to move and promptly got us seated in a much quieter section of the restaurant. The views were unreal and the vibe of the restaurant was laid back, well put together, inviting and comfortable. The food was good enough. Not memorable but good enough and the pricing matched that. The order consisted of 2 mocktails, an appetizer and 2 main dishes and came out to $97 including the tip. If you’re looking for a place to catch up with a friend, eat with a colleague or grab a drink this place is great!

I surprised my mother with an early birthday brunch. The atmosphere was beautiful with an ocean view. 😍 The people were so friendly and kind. Our server Chase and the manager Drew were the best! They made my mom's day even better, with their wonderful personalities. I ordered the crispy chicken wings and fries, and the seasoning they used was delicious. My mother ordered the breakfast burrito with tater tots, and the portion size was very filling and enough to save for later. Overall, it was such a great experience, and I will be back if in the area again.

Google
Incredible experience. We ate by Huntington Beach enjoying the sunset after a fun day at the ocean. Perfect way to extend your beach day by having an Oceanside view and a delectable meal. We had the Brant Burger with wagyu beef, the Cobb salad with filet mignon, and some incredible drinks. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area. Our kids loved the chicken fingers, the pretzel bites and obviously the view.

Google
Our visit to The Brant was amazing! The food was delicious and our waitress was even better! She kept our bottomless mimosas filled to the top! The only issue we had was finding the restaurant. GPS directions took us to the hotel next door. That being said, We couldn’t have asked for a better visit!

We were a party of 14-15 celebrating a high school graduation. Easily accommodated us with a reservation. Food was enjoyed by all. I personally ordered the chicken sandwich with coleslaw and a spicy cucumber margarita. It was delicious.

My wife and I went here on a date night about 1 month ago. The restaurant has an amazing view, and the decor was great. We both ordered their signature cocktails, which were great! Both our entrees were delicious, and came out quickly. If you're looking for a great night out in Huntington Beach, with an ocean view, stop by the Brant.

Google
SO impressed with The Brant. Absolutely beautiful decor, inside and outside patio seating, and seriously some of the most delicious drinks and dishes I’ve had. HIGHLY recommend the Strawberry Basil Mule, great flavor and actually fairly strong which was fantastic. We started with their take on chicken wings which was SO good - great sauces and crispiness/crunchiness. Then, we tried their brand new shortribs with pineapple risotto and I completely licked the plate clean! Ridiculously good. We got a Cobb salad to try as well and it was packed with ingredients — went really well with the meat. And do NOT come here without trying their signature butter cake! TOOOO good. Melt in your mouth and the perfect texture. We will be coming back here again to try brunch next!

Yelp
My family and I had such a great experience here. Visiting from Ventura, we were very impressed and pleased with everything from the decor, service, and even the restrooms haha. We ordered bacon-wrapped dates, filet mignon, prime rib sandwich, and the fried chicken sandwich, along a few different cocktails and beers. The hostess was a little lukewarm but our server Karen was so attentive and friendly. My steak arrived a little more medium than rare (I ordered medium rare), and she and the manager, his name escapes me, sorry, came to our table immediately and promptly apologized and replaced my steak. We would have ordered dessert if we hadn't been stuffed to the gills! I would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting, or even living in the area. 10/10, 5-stars!

Yelp
We came to drink, eat apps, and watch the air show. There was a young hostess who gave us exactly the seat we wanted without asking for it. When we walked in I asked if they had outdoor seating and she led us to a perfect spot. And everyone greeted us and was super friendly as we walked to our seat. Behind us was a large group of women who our server was serving them and us. It was clear we were not a priority over a far larger group and therefore tip. We waited long to order, to reorder drinks, and even longer for the check. We ended up getting up and leaving to pay upfront.

Yelp
I remembered back in the 70's driving me and my skate buddies in my Chevy Vega to Huntington Beach to spend the day. Way different than driving the Tesla to the beach with the grand kids. I can't even remember what we would eat back then but I can assure you it was nothing like The Brant. There are lots of places to eat at Pacific City and my wife and I have tried them all. Nothing fancy or bougie about the menu at the Brant. Mostly American comfort food Salads, Burgers, Sandwiches and a Bar. As usual my wife went for the Salad. Not your ordinary Salad this was a Smoked Ahi salad which I know she enjoyed since I only got one forkful. I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich that was awesome. Big old slab of chicken breast Brioche Bun and Cheddar. Just perfect. The grandkids had wings. Just a note the French fries are fantastic. I don't know what magic they use in the kitchen to conjure up these fries but everyone in the family loved these fries. The service was great. Manuela our server was extra attentive even though she had her hands full with a Labor Day crowd. 1975 Tony would probably consider 2025 Tony a sell out snob but time changes everything. BTW 2025 Tony would tell 1975 Tony to get a haircut. Come by the Brant enjoy some great food. Order something from the bar and enjoy your view of PCH and the Pacific. You've come a long way. Enjoy Definitely Recommended.

Yelp
Most of the places on the beach tend to be overpriced and just not good. That's why I was pleasantly surprised by the Brant. We Really enjoyed our dinner here the other night. Food was delicious, service was great, and the ocean views are beautiful. We started with the bacon wrapped dates which were excellent. For entrees I had the short ribs and my gf had the salmon. I really enjoyed my short ribs. They were tender and flavorful and the pineapple risotto was amazing. Gf liked her Salmon as well. We Liked everything we ordered. Would definitely come back if in the area

Yelp
We had a great brunch experience during a bachelorette weekend at The Brant! Parking: there's some paid hour parking in the uncovered lot near the shopping center but also a parking garage. The Brant also validates parking. Location: The restaurant has a beautiful view of the beach across the street. Not to mention, I love the boho, sophisticated vibe of the restaurant. Service: Big shout out to our server Chase for holding it down for our group of 10+. He was quick to get us anything we needed, especially for the ladies who celebrated with bottomless mimosas. Chase made sure that they were truly bottomless and he was always around when they needed a refill. Food: Lots of options and the portions are good enough to share. My friend and I split the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich. Out of those two, I probably prefer the sandwich but both were really filling. Price: Not exactly the cheapest brunch spot, but it's not the most expensive either. Plan to spend around $20 per person for food + $20+ for drinks.

Yelp
My dad always wants to have brunch by the beach whenever I visit home, so we came here. It's located inside the Pacific City Plaza and it's pretty quiet during the brunch hours as we were able to snag a last minute reservation the day of. We also scored bonus points by sitting in the ocean view. Asparagus fries (5/5): It's not tempura, but more similar to the batter of fish and chips. I thought this was the perfect appetizer. Some healthy food although it was deep fried. The batter shield the asparagus to perfection as it provided a great crunch to the soft asparagus. Spicy Tuna tartare tacos (4/5): Comes with 2 pieces and each piece is placed on a scoop of guacamole. Although it tasted great, not worth the price finishing in one bite. Manhattan Seafood Style Chowder (3/5): do not expect this to be the chunky chowder. It tasted almost similar to a minestrone soup, but with more seafood. It was heart but nothing too special. Seared Ahi Salad (5/5): this was my first time ordering a salad in a while and I did not expect it to satisfy me. There was plenty of seared ahi and the salad was tangy and plentiful. Overall great place to eat for brunch if you want an ocean view.

Yelp
The Brant has a great view, good service and the menu has something for everyone's tastes. You get a less (over) crowded feel here than at some of the other restaurants in Pacific City. Make sure to ask for your parking to be validated. The chowder is Manhattan style and very thin. If you want something light, this will work. The veggie burger is satisfying, but I had to eat a lot of fries with it to feel full. (Is that like getting a diet soda with a burger & fries? Oh well).

Yelp
While being down in Orange County a few weeks ago, my friends and I had brunch here. All I can say is wow, the staff were all lovely towards us and very patient with our questions about the menu. A few of us did bottomless mimosa and our server made sure we were taken care of. Our food was delicious, absolutely no complaints with that and the location was perfect. We had views of the beach and there was plenty of parking that you do need to pay for but it was easy to manage.

Yelp
A great view with some tasty food for a birthday dinner. The pastrami flatbread for our appetizer was delicious along with the grilled Brussel sprouts. The Grilled Salmon was tasty, the Prime Rib Dip was delicious, Brant burgers were a hit along with the Chopped Caesar. Delicious fries with all the burgers and sandwiches. Nick was pleasant, always serving us with a smile and gave us sound advice on the pastrami flatbread. All in all, it was a good and satisfying meal.

Yelp
We love The Brant! Top favs are the pretzel board, the burger, and the salmon. We usually get the clams as well but this time we had to send them back as they were super bitter...the manager mentioned they had too much wine and was very apologetic. The salmon was out of this world with the best lemon butter sauce I've ever tasted. Will continue to come back!

Yelp
We loved The Brant.... The ambience and the views were great. We started with the Brussel Sprout Appetizer, they were crispy and delicious and had chunks of bacon in them. My husband had the Brant Old Fashioned and I had the Paloma Martini, both of which we enjoyed. We both got the same entree and were impressed. We had the grilled boneless short ribs with grilled asparagus and pineapple risotto. The pineapple risotto was amazing, it had chunks of pineapple and cheese was melted into it and we both enjoyed it very much. The short rib was in a ginger marinade and it was delicious as well. We will definitely be making another visit to The Brant again in the future.

Yelp
Good food and very pretty view!! Went for brunch on a Saturday - not too busy and no wait to be seated overlooking PCH and the beach. Our waiter Phil was attentive and food came out quickly. Would go again.

Yelp
Note to self, don't sit in the booths because then the bartenders might be your server and they're not around much. Don't worry about the sun hitting you if you sit by the window because you can adjust the blinds for shade. If you order the amazing pork chop, keep in mind it takes 20 to 30 minutes to cook, so definitely order it at the same time as your appetizers. Ask for it Medium Well and it will come out perfect and moist. We started with the ahi tuna tacos and they were good. We also got the Chop Salad and it was average. The sauteed corn was good. The side of pineapple risotto was great but next time I would get it without pineapple. The pineapple guava margarita was excellent as always. The off menu pineapple Mai Tai was fine, but next time I'll try the Blood Orange and Coconut Mai Tai.

Yelp
2nd time here. Got my location back and stopped on my way to the airport! Yay! Got the espresso martini again. It was the usual, but paired with my prime rib dip it really hit the spot after reviewing 192 pages (normal per day is 60)! I deserved this treat. The place was crowded, so I sat at the bar. For a Friday night and Valentine's Day what do you expect. Date night abounded. Friendly peeps as always.

Yelp
Wow, what a lovely experience here at the Brant. It was my first time trying this place. If you're not from here, there's a map! I thought it was on the first floor so I walked around a bit before finding it lol. It is located on the second floor. I came in at 10am and was seated right away. Overall, this place checks the boxes for food and ambiance! The steak and eggs were perfectly done. The eggs benedict and breakfast sandwich were flavorful and really good as well. The view was nice! We had a table next to the window. Sophia was our server, who gave us exceptional service! Super sweet and very professional. She made sure to check up on us throughout our meal; her service never fell short. :)

Yelp
Made reservations on Valentine's Day for a Galentine's dinner and the hostess and everyone was so sweet! One of our friend's boyfriend sent flowers and chocolates to the restaurant hours in advanced and they kept it safe for when she got there. We were also running 5-10 minutes late and called in to let them know and they were very kind and accommodating about it. The food and drinks were delicious and service was great too! I deducted a star because there was a mix up with our orders, and while they did fix it promptly, they made it seem like we were trying to be difficult or trying to get free food. I'd ordered my steak with the asparagus and subbed out the mashed potatoes for Brussel sprouts. My friend got her steak butterfly cut and ordered an extra side of broccolini (in addition to the asparagus and mashed potatoes it came with). They ended up putting my Brussel sprouts on my friend's plate and she didn't get any of her asparagus or broccolini. We'd flagged this to our server and they brought out my Brussels sprouts, but still no asparagus or broccolini for my friend. After 2 more tries with 2 additional different servers, we finally got all of our sides. However, when our server came by to make sure everything was good, he made a comment to the extent of "enjoy all the free sides you got" as if we were being picky just to get extra free sides, which was not the case at all. We just wanted what we'd ordered and we did pay for the extra broccolini. That rubbed us the wrong way forsure.

Yelp
Went here for the first time last night with friends to celebrate a birthday. Restaurant is located on the top floor of pacific city, parking on street with meters or in parking garage, 2 hrs free with validation. The best aspects of the night were the view of the ocean and the appetizer. The drink while fruity and tasty was not strong at all. The burger wasn't bad but it was not something I would choose again either. I brought a French dip sandwhich home for my husband and he was not a fan of the meat and he gets that sandwhich from Houston's all the time. I think if I was in the area and wanted to grab a snack and a different cocktail with a nice view than I would go back but I live far and this place just isn't worth the drive in my opinion.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for all day happy hour on a Tuesday. Had the tuna tartare tacos, the pretzel bread, and a blood orange coconut mai tail. Everything was good, as was service at the bar. Pretty easy walk from some of the hotels.

Yelp
I enjoyed my meal, the staff, the location, and the view! The Brant is an impressive restaurant with a beautiful view nestled in a scenic shopping/eating area. I recommend you take the drive for all my LA and LB folks. If you are local, definitely add this restaurant to your list of eateries to try. Let's jump right into this review. What we had: PRETZEL BREAD BOARD Served With Honey Butter, Onion Jam, and Whole Grain Mustard - $15 - this was AWESOMSAUCE! The Honey Butter was mouth-watering, B-A-B-Y. CHOPPED CAESAR Romain Lettuce, Pancetta, Pepitas, Parmesan Cheese, House Croutons, Garlic Caesar Dressing - $13 - DELICIOUS! DOUBLE BONE-IN PORK CHOP Mango Chutney, Pancetta, French Fries - $32 - Worth the time to prepare but our waiter was very transparent that this dish is a hit or miss but it was hittin' the night we tried it. CRISPY HALF CHICKEN Free-Range Chicken Breast And Leg, Chicken Jus, Garlic Pomme Puree, Sauteed Corn - $28 - The chicken was juicy w sauteed corn with a twist in a "good" way. You wouldn't expect sauteed corn to taste so good. TANTALIZING to my taste buds! WARM BUTTERCAKE Vanilla Ice Cream, Raspberry Coulis -$14 - DEVINE! Pros 1. Impeccable service. Our waiter and the manager were personable and enhanced our overall experience with their service. *I really love restaurants where manager(s) check in with customers and genuinely want to know about your experience and then elevate it. Kudos to The Brant!* 2. Amazing views. 3. Clean. 4. Beautifully decorated and airy. 5. Food is delicious. Everything my mouth touch was ON-POINT. Cons I don't have any (smile). Recommendation 1. Make a reservation to see the sunset and request a window table. I'll be back! Period.

Yelp
Amazing views and delicious asparagus fries and dipping sauce (I'm thinking spicy aioli). Unfortunately the Prime rib dip sandwich was terrible. I specifically came here for this sandwich because it looked so good on yelp! My sandwich came out extremely overcooked and well done. A prime rib dip sandwich is supposed to be pink and med-rare. I was starving so I just finished it but please look at the picture I posted of it. I had 2 espresso martinis which were just okay. Not great. Come for the beautiful view and that's really it.

Elizaveta S.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, every dish is made with love. The atmosphere is magical -- the view is stunning and makes the whole dining experience special. A big thank you to the sweet and friendly waiters -- very attentive and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Not bad! We loved the view of the ocean! Dishes ordered-bacon fig appetizer, crispy chicken, beet salad, halibut. Also ordered a few cocktails and Chardonnay. Drinks were just ok.Husband said halibut was way over done so that was disappointing.I liked my chicken and our daughter thought her beet salad was good. The desserts, chocolate lava and lemon cake, were so good Awesome service and I would definitely come back.

Seda D.

Yelp
The waiter was a very nice person. However, they seated us in their patio room where hearing each other easily was almost impossible. As it was extremely loud we had to speak very loud to communicate. Today l have a bad sore throat as a result. I know it can be difficult for the restaurant to control their other guests' voices, but it made our meal less enjoyable than it could have been.
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
Went here for a double date on a Saturday night. Had some drinks both on and off menu and they were perfect. The service was great-I love it when people check on you but aren't pushy. It was nice to relax and watch the sunset while catching up with my friends. We had old fashioneds and Palomas off the menu and later my friends had traditional old fashioneds. My husband had the roast chicken and it was really good!
google avatar

Mina R.

Yelp
Food is DELICIOUS! Great ambiance, views, service, drinks, and FOOD! If you feel like having unlimited mimosas with your brunch do it.
google avatar

Bec N.

Yelp
This is my second time dining at The Brant, we chose to do a Saturday brunch. I had their veggie omelette, which was so delicious! Everyone loved their food at my table. Also, if you're looking for a beautiful view of the beach and weekend cruisers, I would make plans to dine here. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
My husband and I wanted to try a new ocean view restaurant and made a reservation at The Brant. When we got to the restaurant, there were was a line of people and no one in the front to greet and seat us. When the hostess finally came back, we told her that we had a reservation and she decided to seat the people in the front of us that had no reservations and told us that we would have to wait until a table is ready We were finally seated and placed our order. We had to remind the waiter about our ice teas, nothing fancy but we received our appetizer before even getting our dinks. Our food was mediocre and full of grease. The ambiance was nice but the service land food was not good at all. We would not recommend the restaurant due to the lack of customer service and fast food entrees.
google avatar

Claudine R.

Yelp
I came here with a group of girls. It was a beautiful spot, spacious with great views of the beach. Service was great, kind and timely. Some things were a tad overpriced, like the burrito being $18 when it wasn't that great. But the bottomless mimosas for $20 is a great deal. I don't think I would come back unless it was for the Bottomless Mimosas.
google avatar

Yelp
The view is beautiful, great food and service.. My husband and enjoy your lunch today.

Yelp
Love the food there, been there twice in one week, tried many plates and no complain so far. The service always very friendly and helpful. They know the dishes well, answered all our question. The place casual but fancy at the same time. My suggestion get a table before sun down so you can watch the sunset while you eat. All table can see the beach view.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
The view was pretty and restaurant has nice decor/vibe. That's about all the positives. Went for lunch just a little bit ago and it took about 5 minutes to see a hostess. She was nice once she appeared. The initial waitress took about 5-10 to greet us and give water. She took our order then disappeared. A male waiter gave us our beverages said he'd be our waiter now. Kids meal came out fast (luckily). It took HALF an hour for our French dip and Cobb salad to arrive. The Cobb was bland. Nothing special. The French dip came out wrong (said no onions to waitress numero uno) then waited another 5 for the correct order. Husband said it was also bland and lacked flavor. Very confused why (according to you yelpers) this is number one for lunch in the HB area. And if that is the case then HB needs to bump up its food game.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
Restaurant is elegant and view of the beach sunset was awesome! Food was also on point! I had a chicken cesar salad but my friends ordered entrees and said it was delish! Drinks were also yummy! Server was efficient and friendly as well!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant located at Pacific City in Huntington Beach. Drew, the manager, went through the entire menu after speaking to chef, to let us know what is safe for my son and husband to eat. Pretty much the entire menu is gluten free, just a couple of items have gluten. In regard to the sesame and tree nuts, only a couple of items contained both. Phil, our server, went through everything again with us. The food is delicious and the view is beautiful.
google avatar

Lucy D.

Yelp
First time there and we were VERY pleased. Shout out to our server Allie who was so very helpful and friendly. Excellent service and good food recommendations. Nice view of the beach and ocean too! We will definitely be back and hope we can have Allie as our server again. =)

Yelp
Came by for dinner on a Sunday night. We had reservations and scored seats by the window with great views. Drinks: The old fashioned was good but nothing special. Also ordered a mezcal based pineapple margarita switch tasted fresh but a little on the sweet side. Food: French dip steak sandwich was excellent. Waitress recommended ordering it with cheese and jalapeno which I would try next time. Artichoke was labor intensive to eat. Not sure if it was worth all the effort. Would skip. Brussel sprouts were tasty. Tuna tacos were great as well. Butter cake was soft and complimented ice cream well. Wish it was served a little warmer. Service was friendly.

Yelp
Great service, nice view, and amazing food! My wife and I ordered the Prime Rib Dip sandwich and Brant Burger and they did not disappoint. The French roll on the prime rib dip has a perfect crisp on the outer part and perfect softness in texture and the sandwich was really well prepared, you can tell that the chef really cares about their craft. For the brant burger, you can really taste the flavor of the Kobe beef patty and all the other ingredients that come with it make for a perfect combination. Every bite was exciting and I didn't want the experience to end. But, I know for certain we will definitely be back for the same items.
google avatar

Matthew C.

Yelp
Incredible experience! The burger and prime rib sandwich were very good. Decent amount of flavor packed in them! The meats had good flavor and were not fatty! We also go the tuna tartare tacos as an appetizer, they were very fresh! We recommend those food items for sure! You won't be disappointed! The drinks were very good. Not watered down, and had amazing taste. Worth the prices. We got the Cadillac margarita, pineapple guava margarita and then the bartender recommended a special mix. Jalenpeno pineapple guava margarita on the rocks. That was one of the best drinks I have had in a while. Parking: you'll have to park in the parking structure and ask the hostess to validate the ticket! Definitely going to be back and try to be near the windows for sunset! The staff were very friendly and helpful- really set the tone for a great atmosphere! On a Friday night it was of course busy, we made a reservation which was a good idea.

Yelp
I found this place on yelp with reasonable price, nice ocean view It was my birthday and went there with my family. Overall, food was good, view was nice but the waitress served our table, she seemed a new and so slow like if we ask, the action took forever

Yelp
Looking for a great view to enjoy brunch after a stroll through Pacific City shopping mall? The Brant hit all the boxes this Sunday morning, providing exceptional service with delicious food and drink. I ordered a Pacific Michelada that in my opinion can compete with the best! For food, I ordered the breakfast sandwich that was more than filling and appetizing than I would have expected. The star of the brunch menu are the thinly sliced, crispy hash browns that remind me a little like shoestring fries. They're not only fun to eat, but go perfect with the crispiness of the breakfast sandwich. While I came to enjoy brunch this time, I can definitely see this spot as a popular date spot in the evening for locals and tourists alike. Oh, and my review wouldn't be complete without mentioning our awesome server, Sam.

Yelp
Sunday brunchin' at Surf City at the beautiful The Brant Kitchen and Bar. The Brant is located at Pacific City and like many restaurants there; this place a has a really nice ocean view. We came here on Sunday around 12 and service was great. We got seated right away. Since it was Sunday; they were offering a special brunch menu that consisted of several yummy dishes including a special Brant breakfast sandwich, a Breakfast Burrito, Eggs Benedict and Chicken and Waffles. I was torn between getting the Eggs Benedict and the Chicken and Waffles. I ended up choosing the Chicken and Waffles and am so happy that I did. The Chicken and Waffles were amazing. The waffle consisted of a sweet Belgian waffle that was crispy on the outer circle and perfectly soft on the middle. The Belgian waffle was topped off with a large piece of crisp, tender boneless fried chicken that was sprinkled with bacon bits and powdered sugar. On the side was sweet maple syrup. The chicken and waffles definitely exceeded my expectations. The crisp chicken paired with the good fluffy waffles and topped off with crumbly bacon bits was one enjoyable dish. It definitely is on the top of my list of some of the best chicken and waffles I have had. Aside from the chicken and waffles, we also tried their Crispy Brussels. I loved this starter dish as well. This was one flavorful side with crispy burssels sporuts with The Crispy Brussels were sweet balsamic reduction, crispy Pancetta and sliced almonds. I definitely loved the touch of the pancetta and the almonds. The almonds gave a nice, nutty flavor to this dish. Being a Brussels sprouts fan; I was one happy girl. It was definitely brunch bliss at The Brant!

Yelp
Came here the week of Christmas and expected it to be much more crowded. The Brant is tucked away on the far side of the mall, so walking from the main parking structure is a little bit of a walk, but not too bad. The mall has lots of the classic stores one would expect of a small mall in Huntington, so walking through was nice. We were seated promptly and provided with menus. The seating area is an extended, enclosed patio with nice ocean views. I ordered a margarita and the prime rib dip. We also ordered poke tacos to share. They were quite good. The margarita and fries were also very good. The prime rib dip was just okay. I subtracted one star mainly for the service. The wait for some of the items we asked for took exceptionally long to receive and when we saw our waitress, the time was mostly spent chatting with the bartender. There was an issue with one thing, but more communication is always better than less. Overall it was pretty good and I might go back if we're in the area!

Yelp
Great spot across from the beach. Has beautiful view of the ocean. Food and device were both good. I was with a pretty big party and a few people ordered the bottomless mimosas. Their cup stayed full so they were definitely happy about that. I had a steak sandwich with shoestring fries. The sandwich was ok but the fries were great! My husband had a burger that he enjoyed. My friend had the chicken and waffles which he loved! The table shared the tempura green beans... can I just say yum who'd have thought that green beans could be so good!

Yelp
For being in a tourist spot I didn't high expectations but the food was delicious. The service was great and we all received our food in a timely matter. The views from this restaurant are amazing and if you come around sunset time and sit by the window, you'll be in for a treat.

Yelp
The food was good. The service fantastic! The ocean view is breathtaking. Located on the second level of the beautiful beachside Pacific City outdoor shopping plaza, The Brant is a great spot for brunch, lunch or date night.

Yelp
My family and I took my Dad to the Brant for Father's day. We made a reservation and only had to wait a few minutes upon arrival. We ordered the french dip, clams, crispy brussells, kids chicken strips and California benedict -- all of the food was solid albeit a bit overpriced for what it is (hence the 4 stars). I am sure the rent in Pacific City and cost of labor is contributing to the high prices. The service was good but they should use larger water glasses or refill the tiny ones more often. Highly recommend the Brant if you want good food and an incredible view!
