Brass Tap was our choice for Happy Hour. This was my 1st time here and it gave a relaxed ambience. Located near the train tracks it also gave a laid back vibe. Upon entry we were greeted by the Bartender and we had a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Outdoor was our choice the Bartender gave recommendations on drinks and The Honey Margarita was delish!! Shots tried on the Happy Hour menu were the coconut Key Lime pie 👍🏽 , and later the Green tea which was ok. Desserts were also good. i was a little disappointed in a few things, i ordered chicken Nachos and received steak. Me and my Party wanted more to eat but was not asked if we wanted anything else( reason for 3 stars). On a good note I would come again . both Bartender and waiter were attentive and brought what was ordered out at a timely manner, and it's in a great location. So if in the area try them out.

Great spot for a game or hanging with friends. Excellent beer selection. Food is kind of standard pub food, can be a bit hit or miss. Onion rings are good and I like the size of their side salad. Gratuity is always included but every time I've been here I've always had fantastic service. Good bartenders and wait staff. Love the jazz trio on Sundays. Nice twist.

Stopped In here with my family because my son wanted to try the food here. I was a party of 5 with my children all under 5 by the way. We ordered the pizza because what boy child doesn’t like pizza anyways when the check comes there is an 18% gratuity added and I’m looking for the sign on the wall or at entrance to tell me that this is policy. So I asked the waitress why this was added automatically and she stated that I didn’t have to pay it and that she wanted to make sure that her staff were paid . Now I’m in shock because how do you just demand extra money from people. Point blank the pizza was awesome nice and fresh . I set a 10 min timer to see when my family would be address which the did about 6 mins after my family set down for the second time because we moved from our original seats in the sun room because there was another party in the area having explicit conversation that I didn’t want my kids to be exposed to.i ended up giving the gratuity for the pizza it self not the service . I most likely will probably never return to this establishment. By the way when I paid my check the waitress tried to short me 7$ but thank god I know math. A free dessert should have been given for all the mistakes and service but of course not it was never offered.

4/1/25 - We went during Happy Hour and ordered the pepperoni pizza and a drink off of the bar menu. The pizza was disgusting. What's up with the Ricotta Cheese. The waitress kindly remade it without the Ricotta. The pizza wasn't very good. It was simply ok. The wings were good through. The Ranch dressing was watery and a little off. The service was quick and friendly. Thank you for your response, but it wasn't the Hot Honey Pizza. Unless they forgot to add the hot honey part to the pizza.

My husband and I stopped in on a busy Fri evening before the Jim Gaffigan show at the Lyric. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman- didn't catch his name- who seated us. Very welcoming! Our waitress Erin did an excellent job and checked on us a bunch of times throughout our meal.Everything was delicious! We didn't want to take a chance and run late to the show by having dessert and after we ordered it we told her we'd have to cancel it. She suggested we order it anyway and she'd hold it in the freezer for us. I thought that was very thoughtful of her so we agreed. Got home that night and we were so happy that we decided to order it. It was the gooey butter cake in a delicious sauce with a caramel drizzle and served with vanilla ice cream- an absolutely melt in your mouth to die for piece of deliciousness!! 😋😋😋 Thank you again for the wonderful dining experience and fabulous meal! Next time we're in Baltimore we will be stopping by! Joy & Mark Smith

Google
Baltimore has a ton of great food options but you have to stop at the Brass Tap. I had lunch twice here. The food is outstanding and the service is phenomenal. Owners, Barry and Michael are always present and you can tell they pride themselves on customer service. Along with their friendly demeanor, each staff member was equally awesome.

Google
Really chill spot, randomly stopped by to watch the game and grab a drink and a bite. Was going to get regular Mac n cheese bites until I saw the BBQ PULLED PORK Mac n cheese bites 😮‍💨 needless to say, I’ll definitely be back because they were FIRE!! Staff is really friendly and attentive. I’ll def be back!

Chase J.

Google
Great food and drinks. Don't know if the guy who seated us was a manager or the owner, but he was mad chill and friendly. Very hospitable and welcoming. I plan on returning when it's less busy. Louis CK was in town that night.

Gibson G.

Yelp
Accidentally rated 1 star on an order because I thought they forgot my taco then I saw my taco, very good tacos.

Yelp
Great selection of beers and whiskey with a capable and kind staff. You likely should have a snack before you get here: consider the kitchen closed and you are better off.
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
Horrible service, overpriced miniscule food. The bartender should have warned me how tiny my quesadillas were going to be that I was charged full restaurant price for. On top of that disappointment, I was charged an 18% auto gratuity as a solo diner that was not disclosed. This is a scammy way of conducting business. Legally, if an auto gratuity is not disclosed you do not have to pay it and can ask for it to be removed from your receipt. I would avoid this place like the plague and opt for Angeli's Pizza right next door.

Yelp
We visited for Sunday brunch. It's usually seat yourself but since we had a group of 5 adults and 2 kiddos it wasn't anything readily available. The gentlemen quickly made arrangements for us and even accommodated our request to be seated so we could see the tvs for the Sunday football game. That's good customer service! We ordered from both the brunch menu and regular menu. They do not have a kids menu but we were able to order a meal for our 2 small children to share. I loved my breakfast burrito--very cheesy. And the breakfast home fries (basically little potato cubes) were well seasoned. My aunt wasn't a fan of her Brussel sprouts. My mom was expecting crumbled sausage in her sausage gravy. But overall everything was pretty tasty and filling. They also provided free purple shots for Ravens touchdowns--too bad they only scored once haha I would definitely return again.

Kojo B.

Yelp
A friend wanted to catch up and suggested this place, i have been here and there. I ordered some old fashioned's, i should have checked the price, not sure why they charged me almost $18 a pop for a restaurant that doesnt even do craft cocktails, anywho, the wings i ordered were lackluster, limited sauce i mean come on how can u skimp on buffalo sauce. Here is the kicker, on my bill i saw a wine tax, alcohol tax, and some other weird tax. i Dont think i have seen anything like that before as itemized as such, at least not in Baltimore.

Yelp
We moved to Baltimore in December. We have a Brass Tap where we came from in Orlando, so it was like a little piece of home! This Brass Tap has a great selection of beers. They rotate them regularly and have multiple styles so it's easy to find something you like. The staff are friendly and happy to help guide you in which beer or cocktail you might like. We love Dylan and Nora who always take great care of us. The space has a large amount of seating, with bar seating, table seating, and a patio area I assume is popular during warmer temperatures. We've tried their pizza, burger, and pretzel and they are all tasty. There are a lot of events that happen here as well, like trivia, karaoke, and weekend brunch. Overall, this is a fun place to grab some drinks, food, and relax. Definitely a favorite spot of mine in town!

Jeff T.

Yelp
We returned to the Brass Tap restaurant again before a show at the Lyric Theatre. Once again, the service was prompt, however, the best was yet to come. The crowds were swelling into the restaurant and fortunately we arrived early. The wait staff guided us to our table; took our order for drinks and dinner. We had just begun a conversation when our drinks arrived. We restarted our conversation and literally moments later, fresh hot meals were coming to our table! The food was phenomenal -- the burger was perfectly cooked with a pile of crisp hot French fries. My wife's steak salad was equally fresh with tender, beef and a tasty honey mustard dressing. It's rare to find restaurants that excels in both the food and the service, but The Brass Tap did it perfectly. We'll be back again looking forward to a three-peat before the next show!

Yelp
Nice spot with a great draft list. Very convenient to UB, MICA, and light rail (if you're on your way to a game). I did not sample the food on my recent visit but the beer selection is phenomenal.

Yelp
Went to a drag brunch at brass tap and had so much fun! The servers were friendly and the atmosphere was lively. The donut holes were delicious and i loved the mimosa flight. I did not enjoy the breakfast sliders.
google avatar

Cecilia T.

Yelp
We came for drag brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the food. The menu is small and everything on it is decadent. The southern sunrise melt is a melted ham and Swiss topped with an egg and sausage gravy, which was salty, fatty, and delicious. The real show stopper was the mimosa flight, though. All 4 flavors were great and the sample glasses were enormous. The Bloody Mary is definitely worth skipping, just bland and astringent. This is not a new favorite spot, but I would come back.
google avatar

Yelp
Friday night out in a local Baltimore hang out. Beware high calorie pub grub. Margarita flight were way too sweet and tasted like sour mash. My smoked old fashion was good. The wings were decent. The pizza wasn't bad, crust could be better. The shrimp on the shrimp basket was cooked perfectly. The impossible burger taco was delicious. The service was good and a good place just to hang out. Plenty of tv screens. Overall a nice night!

Yelp
The brass tap release the new spring menu. The new spring menu has potstickers and Brussel sprouts along with a new steak.. I love the Asian chili sauce that came with the potstickers. The new drinks were pretty tasty. Parking is available in a garage on the side.

Yelp
This is our go to wing or burger joint in the area. And the beer selection is off the charts. There is something for everyone. Today we shared a Cesar salad, wings and tots. You just can't go wrong with the quality of the food at this place, the wings are some of the best I've had. The staff is attentive and they always help with a beer selections. Making recommendations and letting you taste before you commit. The bar is our place to hang out, but there is plentiful seating and they have an outside area.
google avatar

Nikki M.

Yelp
Food was on point. Wings amazing. Salad great. Sandwich perfect. Service outstanding. It was late. I was tired and hungry. But i am looking forward to next time. Ambience was chilled. And people were all polite and enjoying themselves. Will be back

Yelp
5Stars for sure!!! I absolutely enjoyed this stop in! The bar tender/server was AMAZING, FOOD AMAZING, ATMOSPHERE AMAZING! This was a great Sunday with my guy. We had missed brunch but that is great too.
google avatar

Yelp
Went for a wine pairing dinner and it was great! They were super knowledgeable and i loved trying the different wines. I love the way they paired the wines as well. Great location also!

Yelp
Brass tap new spring menu goes hard!!! From pretty and refreshing drinks to great bites this is a place to be. Welcoming staff, indoor and outdoor seating are perfect place for your new brunch.

Yelp
Horrible food. Everything they fry with fish is in the same fryer. The fries made me gag. The pizza is probably the only edible thing. Good luck

Alejandro B.

Yelp
Food was exactly what I wanted but the service was the game changer. Staff is more than willing to sample all the beers and ciders and mead they have.

Yelp
My daughter and I arrived at The Brass Tap on a Sunday before a show at the Lyric. We knew in advance that we would have lunch at the Brass Tap prior to the show because of it's close proximity; and more importantly, they have the impossible burger on the menu, which is not easy to find. We got there at 12:45 and brunch was still going on. The brunch menu looked so good, but I had my heart set on the burger. We had to wait for a few minutes for the lunch menu to start so we ordered drinks. My daughter got the margherita flight, which she loved. I got a coconut/lime drink that was very good too. Another unusual thing about this restaurant is they serve tater tots. You can get fries but who wants fries when you can have TATER TOTS?? They were soooo good. Our impossible burgers didn't disappoint either. The best thing about this restaurant is the staff. There is no one person waiting on specific tables. It is the entire wait staff waiting on everyone. The place was super busy when we got there, mostly full of people going to the show, but they handled it like champs! Our drink orders were taken by one person, our food orders by someone else, plates and glasses were taken away the minute you finished. It was efficient and awesome. Everyone was super friendly, and especially Annette. She was great! They also had a jazz band there and I was concerned about how loud it was and had we been seated more toward the front, it would have been an issue. Thankfully, we were seated in the back close to the kitchen and were able to talk. All in all, if was a great time! Of course I forgot to take photos of the food, but here is me with our drinks! lol

Yelp
We flipped a (virtual) coin to either pop in the Brass Tap or a different spot after a show at the Lyric, and the Brass Tap won. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the drinks, food and staff. It was nearing close, but there were still plenty of folks in the smallish space. The beer menu is organized by genre of beer versus the absolute type of beer. I'm a sour gal, so I tried the ones on that list. There was only one true sour, but I'm ok with that. I also ordered a mixed drink because it had my favorite type of rum (Papa's Pilar). It was ok-- more of a standard fruity beverage than complex. The real star here, though, were the cauliflower bites. Completely unexpectedly, they hit it out of the park with the dry rub and the hot sauce. I'm vegetarian and make some sweet homemade cauliflower bites, so I like to taste the competition. These were actually unique and flavorful. Highly recommend. The staff were wonderful. Gabby and Trey tag teamed effectively and offered appreciated suggestions.

Yelp
If yal haven't checked out the Brass Tap recently you surely missing out! I first tried out the Baltimore location on Mt Royal earlier this Summer and I am hooked! First let's start with the location! It's located right on a light rail line for easy access and has ample street and garage parking! It's the perfect place to grab a pre/ post show cocktail or bite to eat if you are visiting the Lyric or Meyerhoff. The staff are super friendly and offer great recommendations! Barry and his team make you feel right at home and are extremely accommodating. My favorite bartender is def Erin! She gives the best recommendations for both food and drink! They have a great bar with always changing drafts, great indoor/ outdoor seating as well. It's a great place to watch the game with friends also. They also have really nicely curated drag brunches and karaoke nights! Did I mention they have Saturday happy hour from 2-7 and then 10-12 ! Someone of my favorite things on the menu u are the hot honey pizza, the Korean bbq nachos, the sangria, any wings and my new fav the Reese's pretzel! Omg ! I highly highly recommend stopping by with friends or just even by yourself!

Yelp
18% gratuity is automatically included, service is slow, and drinks are watered down. Not worth the price or time.
google avatar

Brittney S.

Yelp
Stopped at The Brass Tap for a few drinks this afternoon. Lucky for us, they have Saturday happy hour! There were specials for beer and wine. The drinks were good, and we received excellent customer service from Kellen. It was pretty busy with folks watching the Oreoles game, but we were seated right away. They also have outdoor seating with a giant Tic-Tac-Toe board out there.
google avatar

LaToya E.

Yelp
Brass tap has bar food and really good drinks so you cant really go wrong if you stick to the basics. I really like the wings, the nachos and the burgers. As far as drinks sticking to the menu drinks or call drinks will guarantee you get something good. Service wise I always get pretty decent staff that are attentive and make sure we are taken care of. I am a little turned off that they advertise their brunch as a "weekend brunch" but only host it on Sundays, just call it Sunday brunch so that I know what to expect when I show up on a Saturday.

Laycie G.

Yelp
Worst service I have ever experienced. The automatic 18% tip has ruined any motivation to be a decent server whatsoever. Our party of two was told to seat ourselves when we came in. Not busy at all, every server that wasn't behind the bar was standing around watching the tables or talking amongst each other in groups. After 15-20 mins of waiting to be helped someone took our order. He didn't introduce himself, didn't ask how we were, didn't respond or interact beyond "are you ready to order?" and "okay." Throughout our time there, several different servers kept coming up and asking if we'd been helped. Every single one of them sounded annoyed. At one point original server who took our order just walked by and asked "are you okay?" rudely, as if he was in a rush, and then walked away before I could ask for more condiments. Food was mediocre and overpriced. We were not offered boxes, so we asked for some and they never came. At one point a new server came around the corner and quickly grabbed our plate with food we weren't done with, the. walked away with it to discard it. Additionally, one ceiling fan directly above a table was hanging loose from the ceiling by a few cords and waving in the breeze. They actually sat a couple directly under it. Unbelievable. There's a reason all the positive reviews mention the drag brunch or other events--you don't have to interact with the staff. The bathrooms were clean and that was the only good part of our dining experience. Will not be returning or recommending. It's clear that these are the same problems that have been happening for months with no action from management, despite what they comment under bad reviews. It's not hard to expect good service from your staff and hold them to a higher standard. In such a busy area you need to invest more in your presentation.

Yara W.

Yelp
Food is not good at all... but as a bar, this place is nice to go with friends, and they have fun events.
google avatar

Ed G.

Yelp
Stopped in after a show at the lyric and it was such a good time. Gaby and Trey helped me with drink suggestions the entire night. Every suggestion hit the spot. The lost barrel bourbon barrel coffee stout was great followed up with the founders French toast bastard. The blackberry grilled cheese could use more blackberry jam but that may be my personal preference and not for everybody. It's a great place to stop in after a show or a date night.

Tobias O.

Yelp
Server very attentive and food was great Drinks were hard to decide as too many great choices. Didn't realize it was their anniversary of opening, but welcomed as if we were long standing customers

Shelly S.

Yelp
Their wings are crispy, well done & they salad and vinaigrette dressing is delicious . The service is great whether he is crowded or not

A C.

Yelp
Bad service, and the tap was off. The bar manager tried to convince me that I wasn't used to dry cider. (I am actually, it's usually my favorite drink.) I couldn't drink it but they refused to take it off the bill. The bar fridge reeked of mold which we could smell from our seats at the bar. They included an auto gratuity for the awful service and overpriced appetizer. I knew it was not a well regarded place, but I thought a snack and a pint should be fool proof. My mistake. Never going back again despite working next door. I've attached photos as proof of the stingy pour and the off color of the cider because the owner is insisting that I don't know what I'm talking about.
google avatar

Taye L.

Yelp
Food was good. I like the fact they had crinkly cut fries and they came out hot, BUT it took entirely toooooo long for a simply whiskey sour when the restaurant wasn't that busy. MOF the bar just cleared out from the fight they were showing. They sent my friend an email asking about the service. She explained what happened and the manager offered to rectify it. Had that not occurred, this probably would've been a two star review. The fact that they reached out and provided additional customer service, I will give 4 stars. Had the service been great to begin with, it would've been 5. ‍
google avatar

Nancy S.

Yelp
A coworker was celebrating her daughter birthday. Said worst food had in a while. Brisket grill cheese- 1 slice of meat in middle of bread, hard, overcooked with 1 slice cheese. Bacon cheeseburger was burned with overcooked bacon. She said they told their server, "Tell the cook thanks for the worst lunch we have had in a while. So glad she posted this on Facebook. I see them on Eventbrite for patio happy hour and have considered going but thanks friend for the much-needed tip.
google avatar

Qadira W.

Yelp
I was part of a party of three. Everyone's food was good enough. The wait staff was OK. Restaurants that have a flat, required gratuity are always bothersome because I feel like the wait staff doesn't have to really work that hard because they are guaranteed their tip anyway. The drinks were fine.
google avatar

Madison P.

Yelp
Dropped in to use our Pub Pass. There was a large and good selection of beers, but we chose not to eat because nothing on the menu looked balanced or exciting. Our server seemed confused and wasn't very attentive. The AC was leaking water on our table and into my drink.
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
I was introduced to this spot whilst on a date and, while it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice for dinner, it was still pretty good. The food wasn't anything to write home about but the service and the drinks made the experience a solid 4-stars. We ordered the chicken nachos, the shrimp, and the brussel sprouts. The tortilla chips on the nachos tasted a little stale but the nachos were definitely generously topped with meat, veggies, and lots of melted cheese. The brussels were OK - I've definitely had much better in Baltimore mainly because these weren't crispy enough and seemed to lack some flavor. The shrimp, which I was least interested in, ended up being really really good. The sauce they came covered in was spicy and flavorful and tasted great with some lemon juice squeezed on top. I got a mule with Jameson instead of Tito's and it was delish. Our server, who candidly told us she had only started 3 days ago, was attentive and friendly. I liked how she was upfront with us about being a newbie and she was on top of things the whole night. The check came out to about $100 for four drinks and our three apps. I guess you could say that's reasonable but I don't think it was worth it considering the lackluster food. The vibe is definitely more of a sports bar so I'm thinking I'd return here for drinks but skip the food next time.
google avatar

Kimberly P.

Yelp
The food was fire and the service was wonderful. The atmosphere was pleasant and very welcoming. The manager even came to the table and greeted us and enjoyed our energy we brought to the restaurant.

Shawn B.

Yelp
OMG, I ordered a margaritas and it was sugary and terrible. I had to add 4 limes ro being down the sugary taste. The Green Tea shots were good. Coxktails.should.be balanced. Not sure if I will.retuen to this place. UGHHH!!
google avatar

Saumya M.

Yelp
Extensive list of beers on tap! The food menu is nothing out of the ordinary but had solid options. Love the outdoor space and location right on MICA's campus! The light rail stop is at the restaurant which is convenient but can get loud with the trains constantly passing through.
google avatar

Christina O.

Yelp
Needed a drink! I came here on a Saturday around noon. I wanted to have lunch by myself randomly. I thought about this place since it's not really packed in general early in the day. I sat at the bar. I wanted a strong drink so I asked for a vodka martini dry, with a lime and lemon twist. It was just what I wanted. The bartender was training a new employee, the two of them was a great duo. They were very attentive throughout my lunch. He recommended the crispy chicken sandwich which was really good. The chicken was tender and juicy, they had the perfect amount of sauce and pickles. I added a side Caesar salad, to my surprise it was huge! I was only able to finish half of everything. I would definitely recommend this place for a low key good time.
google avatar

Maria W.

Yelp
I absolutely live goung here for "Sad Brunch Drag Brunches". The drag brunches are thee absolute best, They never ever disappoint! The brunch menu is simple and easy to choose from! My daughter had the burger with the medium fried egg & baby..it was giving very much....how your grandmother cooks for you on a Subday. (Sadly, I didn't take a picture if her burger) I had the skillet, it was pretry tasty as well. The restaurant overall is pretty cute and the mimosa were good as well!
google avatar

Olakunle O.

Yelp
It can be difficult to find spots that serve food late into the night. Well, I am glad I happened across Brass Tap at 11 pm the other night. We had the nachos, steak salad with house vinaigrette and fries. There wasn't a disappointment among them and it was all reasonably priced. If you ever have a friend who needs to get food in their belly after drinking a bit too much, check out the Brass Tap.
google avatar

Kellz W.

Yelp
Everything is awesome here!!! Be sure to visit and experience The Brass Tap for yourself. I'd recommend Boom Boom Shrimp, Chicken Wings, Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the BBQ burger. Love their fries, wish they gave more per serving

C P.

Yelp
Owner took the time to provide a reasonable and polite response, which does show he cares and which goes far. I updated the review and rating in consideration of his taking the time to respond

Yelp
Came here to eat, drink, and watch football. No problems with the football. However, the food and service needed adjusting. How are you in business if you're not making sure your customers' glasses are full and food is on the table. Our server kept getting an order at our table wrong. After the 2nd requested adjustment, we never saw her again. I kept having to waive her down whenever I saw her walk across the room. I stayed for a 4-hour game and only got 2 drinks because I got tired of having to chase our server down to order something. The service was so bad that I had to protest the automatic 18% gratuity, which the Mgr was kind enough to remove. I've never had such a dry football sunday. Sundays are for football and drinking. Wish this this place was better at delivering the drinks.

Yelp
It's ok I guess. Kinda like Olive Garden is ok. Happy hour food portions are insulting. Other than that, solid 3 stars.

Yelp
I highly recommend this is restaurant there was great food and great service. Also highly recommend the waiter Mira she did an awesome job I was very satisfied with her service nd I think she need a raise raise.

Yelp
Good beer selection. Food is mediocre but plentiful. Nice modern atmosphere. Good service. Great place to do shots and party. We were looking for a more intimate beer place...wrong spot for us but a cool place if you're under 30!
google avatar

Amber R.

Yelp
Horrible service. We actually came for food and after receiving the service we did we decided not to order: the girl who took our order didn't say anything when she came to our table she just looked at us so we ordered a drink and then she walked away. No interaction at all. We will not be back because of this experience. you normally greet customers as a sever
