My daughter and I arrived at The Brass Tap on a Sunday before a show at the Lyric. We knew in advance that we would have lunch at the Brass Tap prior to the show because of it's close proximity; and more importantly, they have the impossible burger on the menu, which is not easy to find. We got there at 12:45 and brunch was still going on. The brunch menu looked so good, but I had my heart set on the burger. We had to wait for a few minutes for the lunch menu to start so we ordered drinks. My daughter got the margherita flight, which she loved. I got a coconut/lime drink that was very good too. Another unusual thing about this restaurant is they serve tater tots. You can get fries but who wants fries when you can have TATER TOTS?? They were soooo good. Our impossible burgers didn't disappoint either.
The best thing about this restaurant is the staff. There is no one person waiting on specific tables. It is the entire wait staff waiting on everyone. The place was super busy when we got there, mostly full of people going to the show, but they handled it like champs! Our drink orders were taken by one person, our food orders by someone else, plates and glasses were taken away the minute you finished. It was efficient and awesome. Everyone was super friendly, and especially Annette. She was great!
They also had a jazz band there and I was concerned about how loud it was and had we been seated more toward the front, it would have been an issue. Thankfully, we were seated in the back close to the kitchen and were able to talk.
All in all, if was a great time!
Of course I forgot to take photos of the food, but here is me with our drinks! lol
