Happy Hour Win at The Brass Tap - National Harbor
If you're looking for a chill spot to celebrate a win (like graduating from a six-week training class ), The Brass Tap is a solid choice. We rolled in on a Wednesday for happy hour and had a blast.
First off, shoutout to our server. I don't remember her name, but she was warm and friendly and kept the drinks flowing. And speaking of drinks, the draft beer selection is . I had three 16-ounce pours and a chicken quesadilla for about $31 -- not bad for National Harbor.
We sampled a good bit of the happy hour menu. My personal MVPs? The mac & cheese balls (better without the sauce) and the pizza . The pizza came out piping hot (but not "burn-your-mouth" hot), had great flavor, and held up perfectly in hand -- no sad, floppy slices here. Definitely ordering that for myself next time.
The chicken quesadilla I ordered was fine, but nothing to write home about . Someone also ordered the "spicy" wings -- more "red pepper flakes everywhere" than authentic spicy -- so I'd pick a different flavor next round.
But the vibe? That's where this place delivers--outdoor seating right on the main drag, perfect for people-watching, and a lively, social atmosphere.
Would I go back? Absolutely -- especially for the beer selection, mac & cheese balls, and pizza. And yes, next time I'm upgrading my wing order.
