‘Cursed’ Albany Park Brewpub Space Should Reopen This Summer With New Owners | Eater Chicago

"When it opened in 2016 locals cheered, but the operation mysteriously closed about a year later; its owners retained control of the Albany Park space, which ultimately allowed Twisted Hippo to negotiate a lease." - Ashok Selvam

Good food and nice place to hangout. Has seating inside at the bar area and outdoor seating with a window to order from withiut having to go back inside. They also have darts, corn hole and allow pets outside on a leash.

Had a work meeting in Pagosa - my customer highly recommended the Break Room. When in Rome! Absolutely delicious burger - will stop by here next time to try the Philly Cheesesteak. Very good place!

They were shorthanded and busy but the food was definitely worth the wait! I had the Ruben but forgot to take a picture it was so good!

We came in for lunch around noon. It was pleasant outside. We had a small dog with us so we sat on the patio. The picnic table were in the sun so we sat in the highboy chairs on the patio. The service was good and the green chile burger and fries were delicious.

Having a weird day? A great day? Any kind of day? This is the spot to have it. They’ve got killer pizza, saucy wings, and TVs with all the sports ball action. There’s even a patio window where you can order drinks—picture a drive-thru liquor store, but on foot, and you actually get to enjoy your drinks right there in the sunshine. If you’re extra lucky, Caleb might flawlessly slide a Modelo down the bar to you like some kind of beverage superhero. ⭐️ 💯 Totally worth taking a moment out of your day to swing by—no matter how your day’s going.

This is my second visit to The Break Room. So far this is the best food I've found in Pagosa. This time I ordered the Hatch green chile burger and onion rings. I'm not a ranch dressing fan but their ranch and crispy onion rings are like a meal in themselves. The burger was perfectly seasoned, accented by the peppers and a rich cheddar. The jalapeño sourdough made for an amazing bun and so delicious I would eat it on its own. Be aware that service and food will take a while. Come prepared to sit a while and relax. The woman working the bar was also waiting and bussing tables and refilling drinks. Be sure to leave a generous tip. Edit: I had to head back to the Break Room this summer while in Pagosa. It's still just as good and deservedly quite popular.

We stopped in from a quick dinner and it was a great choice. Be both got the Catfish fillets and they were great. They have a very handsome and sweet dog mascot that hangs around the lobby area. He is very mellow mannered and was sweet to some kids we saw there. Staff were helpful and attentive. Overall, a good visit!

As a bar, this place is great. They have a decent selection of local beer, a big, dog friendly outdoor area and excellent service. Our waitress was super nice and did a fantastic job. Where the place falls flat is the food. My wife and I both ordered burgers. I got mine with fries and she got onion rings. Everything came out burnt. All of it. And it took forever to get it. The burgers were dry, tough and well charred. They weren’t so much burgers as burnt offerings. The fries were cooked hard. But the onion rings really took the overcooking game to the next level. I’ve never attended culinary school, and I’ve never worked at a Michelin Starred restaurant, but I’m pretty sure onion rings shouldn’t be black. So if you’re just looking for a place to unwind, hang out with friends and have drink, then I highly recommend this place. What I don’t recommend is ingesting anything that comes out of the kitchen.
