4 Restaurants to Try This Weekend in Los Angeles: November 1 - Eater LA

"Being out and about on a sunny weekend could bring one to Long Beach. It’s only a 30-minute drive down the 710, or minutes away from those lucky enough to live there. Most Angelenos don’t appreciate LBC’s beauty and local pride because they simply haven’t spent enough time there, or know where to go. So when making the decision to visit, start with Breakfast Bar. With locations on Atlantic Boulevard and Belmont Heights, it's got plenty to serve in a diner-like space that scores high on vibes. The dining room is filled with servers, bussers, and line cooks moving at a rapid pace, dropping off plates of filling breakfast poutine, shrimp and cheesy grits with roasted pepper, omelets, pancakes, and burgers. What’s also great is the ideal placement of the locations. The Atlantic location is blocks away from Alamitos Beach, while the one on Fourth Street is central and convenient for visitors or locals. Order an Uncle Marcee’s omelet casserole for the table and enjoy this family recipe made with bread, cheese, milk, and eggs." - Eater Staff

Google
A really fun and comfortable place with a great menu selection of enhanced breakfast and lunch items suitable for all times a day. The staff were friendly and accommodating and seemed genuinely happy. The location was in a primarily residential area with decent street parking. A fun and delicious experience.

Google
Mind Blown, very good! Johnny, it was a pleasure eating better today with the Fam🙌🥰👍 Quality, top notch Perfectly seasoned and with a twist, at times that was good! Coffee; Golden State Coffee Roasters-Capistrano was on point🙌 *Update: Golden State Coffee Roasters Decaf Brazil; you would never know this was decaf🙌 CA Local company in Placentia; now if someone would answer their phone there or web email going on 3 days...🥺 Country Fried steak with potato pancake wasn't what I thought it would be (potatoe used for pancakes) potatoes croquet, was awesome! Breakfast burrito was tasty and filling, sampled French toast was very good Bathrooms well maintained, smelled good, with quite the humor... 👍

Google
I’d give 6 stars for the whole experience if I could…this place, the people and the food are all wonderful. I had the seasonal bulgogi Benedict and it was hella good. The coffee was terrific and even better at a San Jose Carl. Angela aka Vangela was awesome too, full of light and happiness…perfect vibes and way to star the day!

Google
Went on a friend’s recommendation. I love what this place stands for (a sense of community and friendship and breaking bread together). Thoroughly enjoyed it. Sat at the bar and abided by the day drinking mantra!

Google
First time here and had a delicious breakfast with family. I went with the omelete casserole because it's not something I've seen before in a menu. I added ground sausage and it was delightful. The burrito my brother had looked good and it was huge! This is going on my saved list to return to. A bit pricier than other spots but not by much. Service was ok, waited for water refills and they forgot the dressing to my wife's salad.

Google
Nice place. Great early morning Happy Hour. Be sure to ask specifically for the promotional price so you don’t get a surprise when the check comes. I would eat (and drink) here again!

Google
I stopped here while on my vacation. It's good. If your looking for a good greasy breakfast this may not be for you. It appears they keep it a little on the healthy side, which is good.

Google
I absolutely love the Breakfast Bar's omelet casserole - it is a one of a kind. I love trying different combinations of things to add to it, such as corn, mushrooms, tomatoes, and sometimes meat. It makes it a different dish every time! The servers are all so friendly and helpful. It really is a joy to eat there!

Yelp
This place is amazing! Quaint, and well positioned. The staff is always friendly and the FOOD & DRINK is unmatched, so good! Get the lemon pancakes!

Yelp
Solid breakfast. The menu items are not your typical breakfast fare, more like breakfast with a twist. We ordered Marcee's Omelette which tasted like the breakfast version of a Shepards Pie. It was recommended by our server and it did not disappoint! The little one ordered the Kids Lemon Cake which is a lemon flavored pancake. Pretty good. Didn't try any of the wide variety of cocktails, we were there a little too early for that. But the offerings were impressive. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
This location at 4th street has more girlie vibe than the one in downtown. Our waitress was attentive and gave us our space and time to have a girlie gossip brunch. Devil egg French fries: everything wonderful about a devil eggs on top of crunchy fries. The portions and quality of food will leave you happy as you walk blocks to your street parked car.

Yelp
Consistently delicious breakfast with alcohol service. The Breakfast Bar is a go-to early morning breakfast or brunch spot for us due to location and consistency. Typical American breakfast with constantly craveble dishes such as the Lemon Cake Pancakes and Pig candy (smoked bacon with maple syrup, brown sugar, cayenne and red pepper flakes). Also the perk that it is a full service bar from 6AM to close. I have also come for their early morning "walk of shame" hours and it is a treat. Parking can be tough with a teeny tiny parking lot and street parking, but it is well worth it and it is near neighborhoods. The restaurant itself is super cute, vibe-y interior with a lot of seating, we have never waited more than 5 minutes but it could be because we come at the right time even though it is consistently busy. Service usually is good, no complaints.- everyone seems to be hustlin' and bustlin' Recommend for a great, boozy brunch spot that is consistent and has a breakfast option for everyone.

Yelp
There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant. Street parking could be a little difficult as it was packed. The restaurant has fancy interior decoration (e.g. Crystal chandelier). They have Tuesday's bottomless mimosa special, but I do not drink. I used the yelp check-in for a free coffee when order an entree. We got a cranberry juice, lemon cake pancake combo with turkey sausage, and eggs papi with turkey sausage. The coffee seemed watery, and does not have too much of a coffee flavor. I tried to add creamer and sugar to it, but it did not help. I only had a sip of it. The fried potato that came with the eggs papi tasted sour. The server told me that they put cheese (not sure what kind of cheese) with the potato, and the cheese made the potato sour. The turkey sausage was tasteless and chewy. I felt like eating cardboard, which was sad. The lemon pancake is the best of everything we ordered. It was rich in lemon flavor, and the pancake was very fluffy. It was my favorite. Our servers were friendly and attentive.

Yelp
I love this place! I have been going to both locations in Long Beach for years! The experience never fails. The food is quality is always consistent and above expectations. The service is on point and the staff is welcoming. I sat at the bar today thank you to the Am Bartender who took great care of us !

Yelp
Stopped by for brunch on a Sunday there were only two of us, so even though it looked like it was gonna be a long wait we were seated right away. There was a little bit of a mixup with our order. Somehow our server forgot to put my order in even though he repeated it back to me, so not sure what happened there, but once we got it cleared up, the food itself was delicious. My husband got their fries tossed in the deviled eggs, which sounds weird, but was amazing and I had shrimp and grits, which was also good. I'm still on the search for the perfect espresso martini. There's was pretty good sweet but nice and strong so it was a good balance overall, we really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I was in Long Beach running errands and decided to have breakfast for lunch. This place popped up on my Yelp app. They actually have two locations in Long Beach but this was closest to me so off I drove. Parking is difficult here. They have a small lot that maybe 4 or 5 cars can fit into. I wasn't lucky enough to find an empty spot in the lot but did get lucky and found a spot on the street a block away which put my parallel parking skills to the test. The interior has a cool, casual vibe with some wacky decor. If you like day drinking, the bar is ready to serve you. But I was just there for breakfast and enjoyed the witty waiter I was blessed to have. I ordered the waffle which came with a choice of sides; eggs (scrambled) and protein (bacon). The waffle was perfectly made, crisp outside and soft inside. The combination of syrup, blueberries, and strawberry slices on top of the waffle made for a heavenly breakfast. The bacon was delicious, fried to that sweet spot in-between crispy and chewy. You'd think eggs are just eggs but these tasted extra good; not sure if they did something to elevate the taste or if my taste buds were just in a happy mood. Great food and great staff make this a fun place to eat.

Yelp
Went in with friends for breakfast. This is a really cute spot for breakfast/ brunch. They have a very Sammy parking lot so if full you will have to park on street. I had the breakfast Sammy with the potato pancakes. The Sammy is a big sandwich so I took the other half to go. You must try the breakfast pancakes. They are really good. Don't forget to check in so you can redeem check in offer. Great service in a beautiful breakfast bar.

Yelp
Visiting California with my husband so you already know I turned to yelp to find a delicious breakfast spot! We're staying in Long Beach and it was a quick 15 minute drive to get there. Parking is slim pickings around there and we ended up parking in the nearby neighborhood. Upon entering I thought how cute is this place ! The color of the walls as well as the decorations are a nice touch. They have both booth, table, and bar top seating. My mind was genuinely blown at how fast the service was as well as how friendly everyone was. I truly felt like I was being served in someone's home and was made to feel comfortable! My husband ordered the BB sliders which he said were very good! I ordered the Papi Benedict which was okay, unfortunately the eggs were more hard boiled than poached, the hollandaise sauce was on the sweeter side, and the fresh baked sourdough was quite hard to cut through. The highlight of this breakfast for me was the amazing cocktails, they were so fun and festive! This restaurant is slightly pricey considering the smaller portion sizes, but if all the drinks are as extravagant as ours then I can understand the drink prices ! Overall a good place and would recommend anyone here !

Yelp
3.3425 stars Long Beach is the land of brunch and this new(er) Breakfast Bar is a glitzy one. The interior is gorg. It's a nice place to meet someone for after work drinks. I ordered the Eggs-N-E-WAY ($17.25) with 2 sunny side up eggs and sausage links. It's served with a potato pancake and grilled sourdough bread. I did like their take on the potato portion on your breakfast plate. The little potato pancake reminded me a lot of a thicker latke. I also very much appreciated the grilled sourdough (a hint of rosemary too, I think ). It was perfect with the soften butter. This was a pretty good breakfast platter, but maybe not for $17 buckeroos. For a place called the Breakfast Bar, the breakfast menu is not very breakfast-y. It's innovative for sure - meatloaf steak and eggs - but void of your typical breakfast fare. They do offer many lunch options that you can order for breakfast, so if you like lunch for breakfast, this is your spot.

Yelp
My best friend and I were looking for a new brunch spot for us to try and the Breakfast Bar looked intriguing! When we arrived it was a bit busy and there was a 15-20 minute wait, which wasn't too bad. I would recommend calling ahead though just in case! It felt quite homey and rustic on the inside! Our server was also very sweet and checked up on us quite often! We ordered the Devil Fries as an appetizer and I ordered the Hung Over, which is the breakfast poutine. My friend ordered the breakie sammy. At first I wanted their breakfast burrito, but the Hung Over just sounded too good to passover. It certainly did not disappoint. The eggs were nice and fluffy and the fries were perfectly crispy. It was also way bigger than I expected it to be and it had me feeling stuffed by the end of our meal!

Yelp
I enjoyed it so much I went back with rest of family. This time it was Sunday am, we were there around 10am and were seated right away. Potato pancakes and rosemary bread - delicious!! Again, great service. Side note - I love their t-shirts. We had a great time at the Breakfast Bar. Everyone was super friendly. I loved the chandeliers over the bar - really cute space! For breakfast, I had the Eggs Noni - yummy spiced up hollandaise sauce over poached eggs on spinach. It was delicious!!! We found street parking pretty easily.

Yelp
I've seen this spot driving up and down 4th street and wanted to pull the trigger on trying if. They have a happy hour but it's from 6-8 and you have to be crazy to drink that early. It also has great specials. The place is really nice and pretty. The service was phenomenal. I had a bacon avocado sandwich and it was full of flavor with the arugula. My girlfriend's avocado toast looked like an art piece and her mimosa was a nice touch. I had a shaken screwdriver which was good and it was overall a great experience. I'll look forward to giving this place an "early visit" next time.

Yelp
Randomly picked this spot before taking a friend to the LB Airport. Parking is pretty much all street parking. We got lucky and got two spots right across the street. I ordered the Eggs Noni (pictured). My friends orderd the Lemon Cakes combo, Waffle combo and Eggs Papi. All I can say is they were all good and my friends were pretty impressed. Service was prompt and we were seated quickly for a Sunday brunch. Cute decor and restroom would be nice for a small group pic. Will come back for sure!

Yelp
This is a trendy brunch spot right off 4th St. at the corner of Redondo that packs people in on the daily, especially during weekends. Anything I have ever ordered here has been phenomenal and their Bloody Mary's is up there with the best of them. The one thing I've noticed during my couple visits is they have some unpleasant staff members on board. Everyone can't be a ray of sunshine, I get it. Come for the food and drinks, you'll enjoy yourself.
google avatar

Marje B.

Yelp
Great breakfast/brunch place. I just arrived in LA my sister lives in the area and decided to take me here for breakfast. It's Sunday but wait was not long. Cute place. Free coffee with check in. I ordered breakfast burrito bacon and came with potato pancake. It was large and very tasty. Good service. Overall this place is great. I would come back.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
Egg-cellent food for sure! The potato pancake seems to be their specialty. Part of five had three orders of the eggs noni. I must say the poachness of the eggs was among the best ever. Opted for the breakfast burrito with soyrizo and it was tasty but a bit too heavy on the soyrizo. I would have preferred a thin smear for flavor than the main event. Prices are a bit on the upper end but the food is of excellent quality.
google avatar

Z A.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was good. Ambience was nice as well. They can sub soy chorizo for meat. I had the harvest special with a pumpkin spice latte and boyfriend had a beer as well as Potato pancakes. Portion size wasn't huge, but everything was very tasty.
google avatar

Angel P.

Yelp
Love this place to bits strong drinks and great staff! I always order the same thing and I always get anyone I take hooked on the chicken fried chicken breakfast it's the best thing on earth!

Yelp
The food was a 10000/10 and the service was absolutely amazing the music was such a bop. So if you are looking for a nice lounge and some fun early 1980's -2000's music with fun people all around and some amazing breakfast food this is the place to go with a nice view of people walking by on 4th street! Now the potato pancake was the bomb! It was like a combination of mashed potatoes and breakfast hash browns fried to the perfection of crispyness. now, the flavor had just a hint of a McDonalds hash brown! And I love McDonalds hash browns! The eggs papi was just runny enough to be soaked up with the cheese sauce on their homemade rosemary sour dough bread! I went out of the way to try something crazy I asked the server what meat he likes on his eggs papi and he said half bacon and half sausage. Now, I went crazy and got half bacon and half soy chorizo! Now that was super good! I recommend my combination and the server too!

Yelp
Fun breakfast spot in Long Beach. Two locations and this one was walking distance. Eggs noni, which was basically a version of eggs Florentine. Served on baguette slices, not an English muffin. Super yummy hollandaise sauce. A small potato fritter was a perfect side. The mimosa had an excellent ratio of champagne to OJ. The side of bacon was underwhelming. No photo. The service was very friendly. The ambiance here is very very loud. So loud the waitress messed up our order due to a large party having a literal party right behind us. I'm all about fun, but dang. They quieted down for a moment then another round of drinks came out. We had to leave. I couldn't hear anything my daughter was saying despite being right across the table from me. Sort of ruined the experience. The hostess recommended their other location. My daughter says a week day visit is quieter.
google avatar

Yelp
Went on a Saturday morning and was able to get a table no problem. Our server was John and he was AMAZING, super friendly and on top of everything. The Mocha Muchacho was sweet, delicious and you can get free coffee refills after you finish the initial drink. I ordered the chicken and waffles as an entree and it was pretty gosh darn good. Parking might be a little more difficult to find, but that a pretty common theme in LB. Overall, I'd high recommend this place.
google avatar

Colby S.

Yelp
Very friendly greeting on the way in, all the employees are happy and ready to help. The decor is old school LBC and very cool. I especially liked the wallpaper in the clean restroom. The server was on point with recommendations I don't do onions and my breakfast burrito showed up with them and they made another wry quickly with zero push back. The food was delicious. Great breakfast spot!
google avatar

Yelp
I moved to Long Beach just over a year ago and saw the Breakfast Bar as I drove around the city. My girlfriend and I decided to give it a try this past Saturday. We arrived and didn't have to wait, which was great! The decor is nice and modern and they actually have a bar! Although we didn't partake in ordering a libation, we did order food! We ordered the Uncle Marcees Omelette Casserole and the French toast. Both were very good and had lots of flavor. I never had an omelette casserole before but it was delicious. The texture was silky and similar to a souffle. Apparently it has eggs, cheese and bread. The French toast was made with sourdough bread I believe which was interesting. I'd prefer a brioche or something softer, however it was still flavorful. Service was good but not great. We had to wait slightly longer than I expected but the waiter was very nice and professional. I'd definitely go back!

Jason N.

Yelp
Great place. Delicious Food. Amazing Staff. And I adored the Ambiance. I will say, however, that parking can be a head-scratcher during busy hours. So if you come during rushes, chances are, you'll park on the side of a street. BUT...The area is a beautiful residential area with visitors ALL the time, so you don't have to worry about parking costs or towing. Despite that, 10/10!!
google avatar

Gina C.

Yelp
This place was crowded - so I'm guessing it's a local favorite Everything on the menu looked amazing The presentation of the food was great but the food itself lacked flavor Parking is tight, it's LB Service was great Long line but it went by super fast Outdoor seating available
google avatar

Yelp
Cute spot to grab breakfast in Long Beach. We were seated right away coming in on a Sunday morning at 8:30. There's a tiny parking lot on the side of the restaurant. We tried their 3/5 Chicken and Waffles appetizer. It comes with a sausage gravy, whipped butter and syrup. The chicken was a little dry and overcooked but seasoned well. The waffle sticks were delicious! And I believe they make their own syrup. Next, we got the Belgian Waffle combo with turkey sausage and Pancakes with pork sausage. The sausage was pretty bland compared to the pork sausage. Overall a simple breakfast but I highly recommend their waffles!
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
We got two entrees to share, The smashburger and chicken and waffles. Really enjoy the taste of the burger. The only thing about the smashburger I would say is the Patty were on the thicker side and hence they didn't go to that very edge of the hamburger bun. I would smash them more so I can have full coverage and be more crisp edges. The waffle was delicious, chicken was crispy just the way I like it. My friend thought it was a little dry. We had bloody Mary's which hit the spot.
google avatar

Chigozie M.

Yelp
I mean this gently, it is overhyped. The pancake was good, but I've had better. The coffee was coffee. The cocktail (I got the Florian) was truly good.
google avatar

Ashley T.

Yelp
There are two Breakfast Bar locations in Long Beach. This location is the second one in Long Beach that opened not too long ago. Out of the two locations, I can only recommend this one on E. 4th Street. It's much newer and just a lot nicer inside compared to the original location. There's only street parking, but we were able to find free street parking nearby. There was no wait on a weekday for brunch but I can definitely see this being a popular spot on the weekends. Service was very friendly. It was obvious the restaurant was busy but we didn't wait too long for food to come out. The menu consists of your standard breakfast/brunch items, but there is plenty to choose from. * Waffle Combo ($18): one large Belgian waffle with berries, choice of proteins, and eggs. The waffle was scrumptious - thick but also fluffy and soft. The whole portion was very filling.

Yelp
I recently has brunch here and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top notch. But the real star of the show was their mimosas and French toast. Absolutely amazing, great price.

Yelp
Yesterday morning was back to the airport! Got to the airport way too early, so diverted to get some breakfast. Found this little gem of a place called "The Breakfast Bar" located at 3404 E 4th St, Long Beach, CA 90814. Located at the corner of 4th and Redondo Ave, The Breakfast Bar is a beautifully decorated breakfast/brunch place. They're open 6am to 2pm. Their menu is not very extensive, but what's on it all sounds delicious. I went with their Lemon Cake Pancake Combo. Which came with 2 BEAUTIFULLY FLUFFY lemon flavored pancakes with a lemon syrup, 2 over easy runny eggs and 2 strips of bacon and lastly, a Diet Coke to drink. My friend isn't a "breakfast person" as she normally doesn't eat until 2-3 hours after she wakes up. So 6:30am was way too early for her to eat. But she did order "some of the best dang coffee" she's ever had. The Lemon Cake Pancake was light, airy, fluffy, pillowy.... How else can I describe it? It was just fantastic. Great lemon flavor BEFORE I even put the lemon syrup on it! It wasn't dry, had a little bit of moistness to it. So if you're not the type to use syrup to begin with, you definitely don't need it! But let me tell you!!! You WANT to put that lemon syrup on it! Talk about a punch of added lemon flavor! And unlike normal syrups, it wasn't overly sweet. It was citrusy with JUST A HINT of sweet. My eggs were cooked to PERFECTION. Slightly crispy edges, perfectly runny inside. Bacon was cooked just right. Not "limp" and not crunchy. Just enough for the fat to render out, but left a nice "chew" to it. Michaela our server was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. Attentive in the best way possible. Refilled my friends coffee quickly. Got my food out quick knowing that I had a plane to catch. We were from entering and exiting at The Breakfast Bar for all of 30 minutes. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a great flow of space from table to table. The chandeliers above the bar was a fancy touch. They have every day happy hours from 6am to 8am. I would be MORE THEN HAPPY to leave for the airport early for my next flight just to come back for breakfast again! For more of my travel and food adventures, please follow me at @advntrsntmshrtrvls on Instagram! Food: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 9/10 #travel #wanderlust #worktrip #travelewting #lgb #longbeachairport #breakfast #pancakes #delicious #fluffy #foodie #foodiife

Yelp
Today must have been a busy and difficult day for all restaurants, coffee shops and stores because the Long Beach Grand Prix races were on their final day, so there were a large population of people from all over Southern California visiting Long Beach. With that being said, I myself arrived to Long Beach 1 1/2 hours earlier to beat that traffic and found my way walking up a sidewalk to The Breakfast Bar. What a fantastic surprise to find a classic old style cafe of sorts with a fantastic inside, outside and al fresco ambiance. The interiors were beautiful and charming, but here is where I was taken by surprise. Each and every staff member greeted me, asked me what I wanted and if I was okay. They were humble, kind, energetic and happy to see me. They looked me directly into my eyes, and talked to me genuinely and with a smile. I actually engaged a couple of them in conversation where they were very respondent and happy to reciprocate. I have never been here before and would be lying if I said I will visit there next year during the next Long Beach Grand Prix. Truth is, I will go out of my way to visit there anytime I am in Long Beach or just passing through. I was that satisfied and happy about visiting here and spending my money with them. 100% happy and love the staff. All of them...

Yelp
Have been here several times and the food is consistently great. Some of the best pancakes ever and the rosemary sourdough toast is amazing. we love the ambiance and the vibe.

Yelp
Fantastic food, immediate and friendly service and neighborhood atmosphere. This is a local gem, check it out!

Yelp
Moved down the street, so had to check this place out! It was crowded on Sunday morning, but wait was only about 15 minutes. Love the interior! Super cute decor and open bar, loved the staffs shirts in support of Pride Month! Our server was very friendly. She was dealing with some difficult customers at the table next to us, so didn't check up on us as much, but understandable. Kudos to the manager for handling it so well! They sold shirts/hats and hot sauces in the corner. We checked in for a free coffee (server let me switch for OJ) so definitely take advantage of that!! Ordered the Eggs Papi (Benedict style). The potato croquette was good; crispy outside and fluffy inside, well seasoned. The hollandaise sauce tasted like spicy mayo and the bread was too tough in my opinion. I wish I chose a better protein than the turkey sausage, presentation was a bit disappointing. French toast was okay, nothing too special. Not too sweet, but I think the sourdough bread was too tough again. Breakfast Sammie was definitely the best dish! It was nice and light, but still filling and yummy! Was just kinda grossed out to find a hair at the bottom of the fries after eating a majority of it... utensils were dirty too... Not to sure if I would stop by again honestly.

Yelp
Marcel's Omelet is a unique treat - like a savory French Toast casserole and filling for its size. One can see why it's a family favorite recipe. Bread, egg, protein, salsa - what's not to like? Pleasant, efficient staff throughout! Not a huge place, so a tad noisy and not too suitable for large groups unless you're willing to wait. Look for street parking and take a nice stroll.
google avatar

Carmen E.

Yelp
The service was great, fast and easy. The food was different and amazing. The meatloaf with chorizo was so good with the potatoes on the side and my friend enjoyed the wholesome waffle!

Jeremy D.

Yelp
Second time I've gotten breakfast bar. Very dissatisfied with the food. Sour potatoes- the potato pancake and the tater tots. The staff are super friendly. But the food just doesn't line up. Breakfast burrito was soggy. The hollandaise sauce for the egg noni tasted like cheese. Very strange. I hope they can fix these problems because the stuff and ambiance and great.

Yelp
An amazing, perfect brunch spot in the LB. Good amount of seating / space with a bar to sit at as well. Our waitress was great and we took her preferred recombinations and it did not disappoint. I had the breakfast burrito with soy chorizo for my choice of meat & potato pancake on the side. For my drink i had broth the Mimosa and Irish Coffee. 10/10 dish overall, seriously delicious!!! My friend got the Meatloaf steak with the potato pancake. He commented verbatim, "I fu****g loved it". Our waitress also gave us their house hot sauces which were really good hot sauces. It definitely added flavor & spice to our dishes. Parking adjacent to the restaurant on fourth street is very limited as an FYI. We definitely plan on coming back again!

Yelp
I was looking to cater some food for a small party, and The Breakfast Bar ended up being the perfect place! The food was plentiful and delicious, with neat packaging and preparation. The food was delivered on time, and communications regarding my order were clear and timely, as well. I had a great experience both with the process and the food, and hope to return to this restaurant for a regular meal in the future! Thank you to Angela and the staff :)

Yelp
Great breakfast spot! So much good food to choose from and filling portions. Our waiter was very welcoming and on it. I ordered this delicious hot tea as well which was ginger turmeric. Can't wait to enjoy another meal here soon!

Yelp
Since we are on a culinary journey this weekend, we decided to share one entree. We ordered the Eggs Noni , an eggs Benedict on top house baked rosemary sourdough, smothered in sautéed spinach with a lightly spiced Hollandaise. Accompanying the Noni was a potatoe pancake that I very much enjoyed. As you would expect on a Saturday morning, the place is too loud to have a conversation. However I would imagine it is a nice "intimate" space during a week day. It's not a small place. There are MANY tables and along with that many servers keeping the food rolling out at a decent clip. We did not have to wait at all. But there are now a couple couples waiting outside, for tables. Our server allowed us a chai latte as the check in offer since neither of us drink coffee. So kind. A good experience. The food was yummy!

Yelp
Food was good but the coffee was pretty pricey 650 for one cup. Yes you get refills but $6.50 is still quite pricey. We asked for some chopped jalapenos on the side and that was another $2.50. Ambiance's nice service was good but the nickel and diming we did not like. Probably will not return

Yelp
PARKING: Only street parking, but you can find open spots in lots across the street and/or residential. Recommend parking near the Dominoes lot across the street. AMBIENCE: Plenty of open seats, very clean, and not too loud. You seat yourself! Makes for a great casual brunch with a friend. SERVICE: Such a pleasant experience, our server was very energetic, open to answer any questions and menu recommendations. FOOD: Omelette Casserole (5/5): Baked to perfection. Creamy and flavorful. The sour cream with cheese perfect the dish. Comes with Potato Pancake (4/4) which is like a large tater tot to me. Crispy outside, soft inside. Waffle Combo (4/5): Very large portion. The waffle has a croissant-like texture. Almost like a croffle. Very nice! Mocha Muchacho (5/5): Pleasantly surprised! Not overly sweet, alternative milk options, comes hot. Perfectly sweetened beverage to compliment your meal. Thank you Breakfast Bar-- I'll be coming back for more!

Yelp
This place is perfect for brunch! They get really busy on weekends so be sure to plan accordingly or come early to put your name in. I'm not a huge breakfast food person but their food here is so yummy. They have a big variety and the menu is pretty diverse. Their potato pancake is absolutely to die for - 10/10 would recommend making sure you get that on the side with whatever entree you order! The shrimp bruschetta is something you probably wouldn't initially think to get here but it's absolutely divine. My mouth waters just thinking about it. I love their drinks here because they have something for everyone. Their watermelon lemonade (alcoholic) is really refreshing and light. If you want to start your day off strong their cinnamon toast crunch shot is super yummy & literally tastes like alcoholic cinnamon toast crunch. I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem looking for early lunch and boy am I happy!! Beautiful interior with cozy sitting and full bar, nice decor that is just the right amount all create a welcoming ambiance. The staff is all very friendly, smiling and welcoming from the second I (and anyone else while I was in) step in. My waiter was Johnny - he has great disposition, very knowledgeable about the dishes and has amazing customer service. The dish I got was out of this world happiness in a plate - corn flake breaded chicken breast, with gravy, eggs and biscuit This is a new favorite & I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Cute little place with no wait on a Sunday morning. Waitress noticed my coffee wasn't hot and brought me another. Nice selection of food. Recommend the potato pancake!
